I lived here over a decade ago and called to see about moving back. Susan was super kind and professional, and really took the time to look for availability and listen to my concerns. It was a refreshing change from the other agents Ive been speaking with during my search, and she definitely was the deciding factor to apply here over again.

I’ve lived at Harrison Grande for two years now and staff have come and gone. My son is moving in soon and Dominic and Lori were SO helpful with the process of his application and explaining everything in detail to him. They are two AWESOME people to deal with. They always jump to make it happen. Thanks to you both for your help.

We moved in three months ago and the maintenance team is always fantastic. We are very pleased with the customer service and timely responses to our service request. Mr. Cash,, who the head of the Maintenance Department always listens to our concerns, he is kind, respectful, and friendly. We would say the same about Mr. Armour, who knows electrical systems very well and will not stop working on an issue until its resolved. Mr. Willis always checks and asks if there are any issues he can resolve for me and happily does it. He is a great example of what customer service should be, and he represents Harrison Grande well. One note, it would be wonderful if they had bike racks, where bikes cam be locked up. We live so close to greenways, that it is extremely inconvenient to store them on our apartments patios or in the small storage cubicles. I hope management will look into this along with power washing the breeze ways after the heavy pollen season. Thank you all for making this a place to enjoy living at.

I’ve been living in Harrison Grande Apts for a few months now. Management team has been nothing short of excellent. They were VERY attentive and caring in assisting me throughout the entire move-in process. They take care of you. I start this review with the management team because great management teams are hard to come by.Doesn’t stop there though.Whenever I call in to the office and/or go into the office, there’s ALWAYS availability for assistance and the management team answers all my questions. Great display of a professional, knowledgeable, hard working group that you can trust as your management team. Better than any management team I’ve ever had.10/10 recommend you sign with Harrison Grande if you’re reading this. Beautiful apartments with LOTS of space, GOOD price, great location in Cary, and a considerate, trustworthy, management team. Not to mention pool and gym for resident access. Gym and pool are, both, consistently clean (shoutout to the maintenance team).I would not want to live anywhere else. Truly.

I lived in Harrison Grande for about 2 years and didnt understand what all the poor reviews and fuss was about...this is one of the largest apartments Ive lived in (1200+ sq ft) and I paid about $1100/month for it in CARY. It seemed like it was a decent place and a good value. The maintanence team seemed a bit over-worked, but they were always kind and prompt with the few items I needed fixed. The office staff, specifically Lori, was always kind and helpful. If you had asked me a year ago for a review this would have been easily a 4 for the value, location, and kindness of the staff. However, I recently purchased a house and my move out experience was emotionally traumatisizing and expensive due to the gross negligence of the Harrison Grande staff. I gave my notice according to my lease, paid my final month of prorated rent early, and called to confirm check out procedures and key drop off. There was a little overlap between when I moved into my new house and when I had to turn in my keys to my apt, so I moved out a little bit at a time. I showed up the day before my keys were to be turned in to do the last bit of moving and my final cleaning/shampooing of the apt, and to my surprise, the locks had been changed.Harrison Grande mixed up my move out date, locked me out of my apartment that I was still legally in possession of, and as the lady in the office called it, trashed the remaining items in my apartment.I asked for some sort of acknowledgement or replacement of my things (it really wasnt a lot, thank goodness), and I have not heard ANYTHING from them. Ive had to replace all my cleaning supplies, a camping tent, step ladder, all due to the negligence of this company. I did NOTHING wrong, and yet I was punished and told oops, someone wrote your move out day wrong on the board. Were very sorry this happened.

Honestly, If I could give this property management team zero stars, I would. Which is really sad because its such a beautiful property on the outside but the management team is terrible, doesnt respond to issues, and the maintenance has no talent, no customer service skills, and zero standards. And this is before and since covid-19. Every time an appliance has an issue, no one seems to know how to fix it. They just wait a few months and then replace it with a lower end model. In the course of a year, the microwave, dishwasher, and fridge all broke. All 3 were replaced with the cheapest thing they could find. I waited 4 months just for them to install an ice maker. You pay for pest control but they wont send anyone out to treat your apartment. They close work orders without ever completing them then say, Oh, we thought that was done.If not for the world being upside down right now, I would not have renewed my lease. And I will not again. Its not worth the money or the headache. I wouldnt recommend this property to anyone, unless youre someone I dont like. I dont feel as if the management really cares about the residents or if they keep anyone, which explains the constant revolving door of neighbors moving in and out.

I called the number over 4 times, emailed etc. Scheduled 2 tours and not a single word from this community. That’s a clear indication that they won’t be able to handle situations that arise during my lease. You CAN NOT use COVID-19 as a excuse for poor professionalism. Hundreds of other apartment communities are working well under these conditions. Do better or find new management.

I’ve lived here since Feb 2018 & moving out this year. When I first moved in my apartment was infested with roaches which took 2 months for them to get rid of the roaches. I was unable to use my kitchen, my fridge was infested, I didn’t even unpack that part of my apartment, for 2 months. I was offered a $50 gift card for compensation instead of moving me to a new apartment! Holly, one of the office girls, was very pleasant the day we saw apartment which was probably necessary as her golf cart died and I had to get out & push her to the office. I should’ve taken that as a red flag! Summer 2019 our pool was closed for more than half the summer since they couldn’t handle the maintenance. The dog park has never had new mulch put down & is just disgusting. The gym had no water, wipes, or sanitizer for a month until I complained. The game room is only open during business hours so if you work a 9-5, this amenity is irrelevant to you. I’ve asked for 2 years how to use the fire pit that they advertise & no one in the office knows how so it probably doesn’t even work. My fridge went out & the guy came, turned a knob, & left. It worked for another few weeks & then died again! I lost over $400 worth of food between both losses & was compensated $100. This place robs you. It looks great, but is so deceiving. Do NOT play into their lies, you will regret it. I know I do.

If you are considering moving here, be very careful which apartment building you choose to move into. The buildings by the Lidl location are impacted by extremely late night (1:30am-6am), window-shakingly loud deliveries. On top of that, their maintenance staff is barely competent compared to the staff they had a year ago and struggle with even the most basic maintenance; that is IF you receive maintenance in a timely manner. As reported by several other residents, this property suffers from numerous bug issues which their pest control (which you pay a fair stipend for monthly) does nothing to fix: expect roaches and firebrats as a common occurrence. Beyond this, they have a mandatory tech package which you must pay $50 per month on where you have to buy into their management-chosen internet (previously TV) plan and cannot choose a choice better fitting you. If you dont mind these things, the apartments themselves are spacious for the price and generally functional.EDIT:In response to Harrison Grandes comment. As you said, you cant control the stores around you, so it is unsurprising that nobody has complained about the noise to you. Unfortunately, if you ask people around the area, including the houses to the north of Lidl, many people are losing sleep over this. Im writing this edit after being woken again. It is not a criticism of HG apartments, but as all reviews on Google, something to be aware of for people considering moving in. As to the COVID situation, it is very understandable, but no excuse to properly managing maintenance. Especially when in the peak of it, your maintenance employees werent even wearing masks entering homes. It appears that lately you have hired new maintenance staff with much more competence, so I will commend you on that. However, having to wait weeks for maintenance to follow through on tasks is simply unacceptable. As for pest control, they do come out weekly and their response to in-home pests are cheap bug traps placed in corners which do nothing. At most they may spray around the doors, but somehow this surfeit of pests still manages to get through.

I am tnot a resident. Will not ever be. My husband and I went to this property at 2 pm get information. There was an out of office sign posted until 3 pm. Was about to leave when a man walked through the office and looked at us. Noticed he talked to a woman inside, so I thought either one of them would open the door. We waited for a few minutes, then an older woman walked to the door. She made sure to tap on the window next to the sign to make sure we noticed it. Then opened the door, and told us she was off to lunch. It is fine that she is taking a lunch break, every one deserves it. But do not treat people like they are not there then dismiss them and insult their intelligence. We were interested in renting, but do not recommend this property. All she needed to do was promptly answer the door explain she was at lunch and inform us we would be invited back at 3 pm. How would we have known any better?

In the past few months its gotten worse. Management is working on fixing things. They do have an updated interior which is a plus. The breezeway entrances allow for a noisy experience and youll hear everything amplified, including the thin metal doors that everybody seems to slam. I enjoyed working with Holly, and the rest of the office is helpful.

I have lived in Harrison Grande for 10 years, I have seen the property Management changed over at least 4 different times now, this new manager (management) is great! They are quick to respond to any and all questions that I have, I never had to wait more than an hr for response time (or waiting in the office) and even though there is construction going on, (due to Lidi opening soon) we were always kept updated. This complex is close to shopping and groceries stores and a number or running and walking trails. A great place to stay if you want to stay within walking distance to restaurants.

It is very apparent that the “renovations” on the interior of these apartments were completely for visual appeal. Everything was very very poorly done and things began to break after only a month of moving in. The molding on the floor looks as though it was done by a 5 year old as there are pretty big gaps in some areas between the wood and the carpet. The cabinet doors were put in with screws that were too short so the hinges fall off and almost every knob is lose. I’ve had multiple issues with the hot water, with bugs, with leaks and the best they did was give me “bug traps” that I could probably find in Walmart for 2 dollars and “changed a part” for the water heater yet the issue continued. Ive seen not 1 but 2 SNAKES INSIDE my apartment and the issue was brushed off as I was told they were probably from the deforestation down the street. As if that’s just fine and normal. You shouldn’t feel like you’re living outdoors in an enclosed area that has a pretty hefty cost. The exterior of the complex is very poorly kept, the wall that encloses the resident trash cans is falling apart and has been for months with no fix. On our back porch specifically the wood beam (were on the bottom) looks as though it is rotting at the bottom. The grass was overgrown for a good 2 months, the railings on almost all of the upper floor apartments look rusted and dated. I write this review with no disrespect and complete honesty. Hoping someone with enough power sees this and does something about it.

Parking situation is completely ridiculous. 1 parking permit for a 3 person apartment? My car was towed when I parked in a permit spot without a permit for less than 5 minutes-- I was carrying something heavy and couldnt make it the longer distance from the visitor spot. There is no point to have a parking permit for residents when not all residents get a parking permit. This is merely a tactic to rip off your residents and their guests. Not to mention, if you are the 1 person with the parking permit, if you park in a non-permit spot, your car can also be towed. Im not even sure if there is a sign mentioning that towing is enforced. Beware of the management who lack empathy-- there are other apartment options in Cary who will treat you better.

Never felt treated more like a number in my life. The rental agent even went as far as to compare me to a criminal for having past discrepancies that the management company has no intentions on working with. I try not to leave negative comments, but this just warrens it. Stay away if you have had any job loss in the past 7 years as it will come to haunt you at this place.

I lived there for a year; my parents still live there. The place used to be amazing, but its under new management now, and theyre allowing the apartments to fall apart. They got rid of all of the competent staff and maintenance people. The pool pump broke the week of Fathers Day; now its July 22 and the pool is still out of service. I wont be surprised if they go the whole rest of the summer without the pool being available to the residents. They charge an extra pesticide monthly fee, but there are roaches in the buildings. It takes forever for things to be fixed. And when you call the office, theyre full of excuses.

I lived here for a year and up until the end it was good, the size of the apartment and price were great. It had great updates already when we moved in, and three beds and three beds for the price we paid were awesome. But 3/4 of the way through our lease they started doing renovations without informing residents, and men came to our house in the middle of the day on a week day when most of us were at work and informed the one person who was home that they were coming in to redo the counters and all items needed to be removed and taken out of the cabinets with no heads up. They left trash, debris, and a broom behind. The workers also “used” my bathroom and did not flush the toilet, leaving that for me when I came home from work 6 hours later. The laundry machines also ate my money several times, leading me to just start going to a laundry mat. I also hated the parking situation, it was very annoying that they would only give one “parking pass” to even 3 bedroom apartments, and when they created “designated guest spots” that were not close to the building and said they would start towing, I was really annoyed considering there had been broken down cars in front of our building for months. They always charged us almost $800 upon moveout to replace the carpets when we paid $40 a month for pets, and $300 at move in. You think that would cover replacing the carpets. For the price and location it was really nice, but maybe wait a couple months and see how mgmt changes.
