I feel safe living here in Woodcreek. The apartment feels comfortable, and this is a quite place to live. Giselle and Omari have taken care of my maintenance requests in a timely manner from the beginning. I would definitely recommend anyone to rent in this community.
Solid, well-priced apartments in Cary. Maintenance issues are resolved quickly. The newly renovated apartments are very nice. The newly paved parking lots look great!
Rude office, dirty and old apartments, too many spiders and roaches coming in from all over as the unit doors and windows are not sealed well. Limited parking space. Internet provider couldnt do my install because the cables were too old and I didnt want another hole in my room to let more roaches come in.
I love my loft apartment. Its such a cute little space! The staff is so helpful and both the girl and guy in the office always go above and beyond. I loved the taco truck that came. The location is great. Very happy with my experience so far
I moved in in December and so far so good the staff has been great and I’ve met some wonderful neighbors it’s a very clean and nice complex. Omari And Troy have been great
When looking for a new place to relocate Woodcreek came up in my search. I visited the property on my own and the grounds were very clean. While speaking to a young man in the office. He was very informative about what the neighborhood had to offer and the apartments itself. Very professional.
I just relocated to this area about a month ago and have made myself at home rather quickly! The office staff was patient with me during the application process, making this transition almost seamless. Thank you Amari and Molly for your help! Me and my fur baby are enjoying Woodcreek and Cary very much!
Short version: New management (specifically Giselle Santiago) is awful, apartment maintenance workers are kind but not good at their job, electric bills are outrageous, and I would not recommend this community to anyone.Long version:My friend had a bad experience with PRG (management company) in another complex, so I was hesitant to sign a lease. Due to my credit, however, it was all I could find at the time. I did sign, and heres the red flag bullet points.-wasnt allowed to see unit prior to signing lease-drawers/cabinets/doors super wonky but could have easily been repaired if maintenance cared about quality in their jobs-Q-Tip was painted to the closet wall. Stuck there with paint, couldnt pull off without damaging other paint. Left it there.-Fridge missing plastic piece to cover butter dish. Request for part was ignored. Minor issue, so I didnt follow up.-During first air filter change, I discovered there was no air filter in there previously.-Also discovered state of AC unit (see pictures) and requested mold testing. Was told it was not mold (no testing done) and that it looking like those pictures was normal and did not need cleaning nor anything to catch condensation from dropping onto water heater and wood below. I pushed and they put a pool noodle around the top bit to catch water and cleaned it a bit. I was unimpressed but didnt press further.-I did my own mold testing and grew nasty cultures. Had a friend use the mold test kit in their nice apartment with absolutely no growth.-Later, my heating went out twice during winter. The maintenance man told me he wasnt sure why the cable/wire burned up (?) but that he would come back and check his repair to make sure it looks good in the morning. He never came back. Seems like a safety issue.-When they renovated upstairs, water came through both bathroom ceilings. One bathroom was unable to be used for 3 days, and I was offered no compensation.-Optics aside with the AC/heat, the vents are somehow connected (even though they swear up and down they arent) because my apartment smelled like weed every night and all weekend until the tenant doing the smoking moved out. Then I only smelled neighbors dinners, which was mostly pleasant. Still, not ideal.-Electric bill ran around $90 with absolutely no ac/heat on. Got up to $270ish with heat/AC. See screenshot of my bills. This was a 2bed2bath apartment. Now, all of this would have led to a 3 star review, but the treatment I received after Giselle Santiago took over dropped it to 1.I had a few conversations with her prior to my moveout in which I got mega bad vibes from her tone of voice that made me glad Id decided to move. She discouraged a moveout walk-through, stating that it didnt matter what we would note during that because they could find things later that Id be responsible for anyway. That scared me, but I didnt want to argue with her. I did not push for the walk-through. Upon moveout, she accused me of putting a mattress by the dumpster. It was not my mattress, and she did not ask. She actually called me and said, I see youre back on the property and you need to remove the mattress. I cut her off to say it wasnt mine. She shot back with, Well, youre the only person who moved out today, so, and I was livid. As if people dont get new beds any day of the year? The phone conversation was horribly offensive, so I went into the office and asked what the heck that was. She, in her most condescending tone, said, Sorry if I ruined your afternoon, directly implying that she did not believe me still. I told her to put cameras up if she wants to accuse people of something. I was worried my whole time at PRG that they would try to nail me for things I didnt do, but I didnt expect it to be before getting out of the parking lot. And she just didnt care.Giselle Santiago should not be a property manager or anywhere near people. As I angrily shot back at her when I stormed out the door, PRG sucks @ss. If you can get into another place, please do.
My daughter just moved in and we had an easy, quick experience. so far very happy with the place
We love Woodcreek!!! It is right off the main road of crossroads shopping area in Cary in a nice secluded area, the neighbors are very friendly, and the management team in the office is awesome!!!
Moved in a few weeks ago and already got sick of here, very limited parking space only 1 permit per unit we park our second vehicle in visitor spot. Too old apartment buildings with holes and not sealed well that allows roaches and spiders get in, noisy neighborhood and of course is not worthed what they ask. Roof lakes and ROACHES are the most big issue, Old buildings NOT RECOMMENDED!
Do not live here. Has been nothing but trouble since I moved in. My first day moving in my a/c did not work and took 2 days to fix. My garbage disposal was broken. Ive lived here almost a year and my a/c is broken again, mind you its 94 degrees outside today. The bathroom shower looks thrown together since the sealant is not together. There are soft spots all in the floor. Do not recommend
Bugs constantly coming through cracks in the warped from door. Carpet is patched in strange places and it is coming up at corners. Door frames are beginning to crack and separate from the walls, along with the channel for the dryer vent is beginning to separate from the ceiling. Doors have never closed properly, and some don;t close at all. So much paint on surfaces that it is chipping off in 1 or 2 centimeter thick chunks.
Ive been here for 3 years and have NEVER experienced the problems that I am having under the new manager which the head of maintenance has also complained about. Based on the reviews of other PRG properties and my review, DO NOT MOVE HERE!
, roaches are investing apartments. it has taken weeks to get a handle on this. and now one building has no air conditioning.they tell you one thing and do another......just ask Molly Peoples
The property is well kept and in a nice location! My husband and I had a lot of questions but Molly was able to answer all of our questions in a timely manner. Two thumbs up!
Not worthed at all,
Affordable, well maintained and excellent amenities. Close to great shopping and transportation— I always felt safe in the complex and the office staff was always kind and helpful. Hope helped me many times with packages and concierge level service. She is professional and detail oriented.
Ive little here for a little over a year and am really happy with the complex. But I came to say the new front office workers are excellent - professional and action-oriented. Molly responds immediately and thoughtfully with any issues. Amari has the patience and grace of a saint. I was having an issue with a package and he was really helpful when I got upset. Also Demetri is a wizard and fixes everything. :)
I just moved in to Woodcreek a month ago. The application process was easy and super fast. The staff was accommodating to my special requests and timeline. I really like my apartment and the updated style. The location is great too!
Great office staff and maintenance crew. Extremely safe and quiet. Great location. Its a really beautiful scenery and you have Roses 5 seconds away for basic needs stuff. If you bowl then your a shoe-in to live here.
I will recommend Woodcreek Apartments to anyone. I lived there for over 3 years. Large apartments that are clean and well maintained. The staff is the best. Will in the management office is great and the maintenance staff are always fast and courteous. 5 stars all the way!
Ive lived here for over two years now and have truly loved it. They recently redid the siding on all the buildings and repaired the parking lot. The place looks great! The senior manager Will is efficient and gets the job done. I had a leak in my apartment and after notifying WIll the leak was promptly fixed and hasnt been a problem since. The staff is all very friendly and always willing to help. I am about to relocate to a different city but I didnt have a final date for over two months. After explaining my situation Will worked with me to ensure I could stay in my apartment until I got confirmation of the date.Aside from the wonderful staff the apartment complex has many nice features. There is a 24 hour gym with several machines, tennis courts, and a pool. Also the apartments have huge balconies and fireplaces, which I loved. I spent my summers gardening and enjoying the weather on my balcony and my winters cuddled up by the fireplace.I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone!
Nice place to live! Highly recommend dealing with Molly, she was very knowledgeable, helpful, and quick to get us answers.
Wonderful community, nice infrastructure. Love this place. The management is so good .
Not worth $1000. I have an ongoing problem with spider crickets (Google that), roaches and now MOLD. There is a constant roof leak in front of my door. The maintenance team only patches stuff up! The grounds look better online than in person. I havent had mulch in front of my building in a year. The patio is not covered. The storage shed in infested. I didnt get to use mine not 1 day. The pesticide people left a note its infested with spider crickets. I have the note. Great location but human beings shouldnt be treated like this. I work 2 jobs and its heartbreaking to pay the rent here.
Great place to live and great location!
My husband and I have lived here for over a year and we love it. Very quite and cozy home. The staff is very quick to respond to anything and very helpful. You will enjoy living here!
While the apartments are on the older side, they are maintained very well. Ive lived here for about a year and a half, been in two different buildings, and never had any issues with pests. Maintenance team is very fast when you put in requests and the management team is always very friendly and helpful.
Great location, great apartments, great staff! I highly recommend this place!
Im not a fan of doing this, but Woodcreek was terrible. The flooring was absolutely awful, with huge divots and scrapes. They say they spray for bugs, but we asked several times and never had someone come to our apartment to help us battle off the roaches that lived in our neighbors apartments and kept coming through our vents. The pool is frequently closed. The porch has wet rot, and their fix was to repaint it.They also do everything in their power to charge you more money. When we moved in, we put on our move in sheet that the tub had to be resurfaced. They checked and confirmed it. Yet somehow, we were charged $210 for resurfacing the tub. They also somehow lost a $350 money order we gave them when we moved in, which was magically found a few weeks later after we insisted that we had paid it. The rent (after all of the hidden fees they charge) is near $1000.EDIT: I forgot to mention. On top of charging me $210 for the tub, they noted that a late fee would occur if a payment was not made within 5 days of the day they mailed out the bill. They dated it on a Thursday, meaning that it just now got to us on the 5th day. There was no email or phone call notifying us or this bill either. Theyre once again trying to get more money from us.All in all, theyll do their best to look professional, but nothing is kept up well. And while they try to soothe you with weekly emails about food trucks in the neighborhood, theyll take every penny they can from you, any way they can manage. If you have to live here, then I understand. But if you have a choice, then stay away.
Racist managers .. my parents been leaving here for almost 2 years and they never wanted to give them the parking sticker now they tow the car .. my neighbor had the same problem .. your managers doesn’t like Hispanics .. I had to find out about the stickers from my neighbors .. my parents went to get the sticker at the office and they kept saying no and no to them for why ?? You just don’t do that like that .. how’s brother going to get to college now ? Bad bad managers. We pay rent EVERY SINGKE MONTH !
I been living at woodcreek apartments for about 4 months now I love it...!!! NO COMPLAINTS THE PEOPLE THAT WORK HERE ARE GREAT!!!!
The staff is beyond horrible. There’s a lake in front of my apartment every time it rains, as well as a good inch of mud on the walkway, which is a huge safety issue. I have been complaining about it for a good year now and every time I just get another nonsense answer or false promise. The walls and appliances aren’t straight and when you ask for them to be fixed, it never happens. People in other buildings tell me that they have roaches and I’ve had spider crickets in my unit. Recently I put in a request to have the wheels of my sliding glass door replaced. It took them 2 two weeks to look at it and all they did was spray WD-40 on it. Two weeks after that, they finally called someone in to actually fix it, totaling a month of wait time. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
Community is great I havent had any issues my entire time here. The office staff is amazing, totally recommended!
An ideal place to live if you are looking forward to seeing snakes in front of your main door, creepy people opening your cars/trying to break in to your house around midnight and of-course leaking pipes in closets. I am quite disappointed that google doesnt have a zero star rating policy.
Office staff always friendly. Very clean outside and inside. My water heater failed one night, and they had a new one there in less than an hour after I reported the flooding. They removed the carpet padding while I was at work, dried the carpet for a day, and replaced the padding the next day and had the carpet cleaned after that. They take care of everything here.
Good, affordable apartments in a convenient location. Staff is friendly and neighbors are nice. Couldnt be happier.
I like this place it very quiet and people are friendly
I gave this complex 5 stars just off the management team itself. I will say I could care less for some of my neighbors and experiences Ive had with them but they dont control that. The manager Will, is awesome. He makes sure all my request are met in a timely manner along with his assistant. Ive been living her for about 2 years now and I have to say this is one of the most comfortable complexes Ive lived in. Any time I had any problem, they came right out to help me. The staff always has a How can I help you attitude and thats exactly what tenants look for in office management. Ive referred several people to living in Woodcreek. I truly appreciate all the help and kindness that has been displayed to be during my stay here. Thank You!!
James from maintenance is great! Super helpful and friendly! Staff is awesome!
I have one of the people that work there telling me one thing, and then another person telling me another. I kept having to call to try and figure out whether my application was approved or not. I was told it was by one employee and then I was told they have not done it yet by another employee. Thank you so much for jerking me around for 3 weeks and wasting my time.
By far the worst experience Ive ever had with an apartment complex. Management and maintenance are incompetent, lazy, and unprofessional. The complex charges exorbitant rates for water usage and rent is excessive for what you get, even in an upgraded unit. Please do not make the mistake of living here.
During the past 6 months, they have migrated away from paying for your cable and your water bill (if youre like me and use less than the average renter, thats OK), so that is extra now, and they are also raising rent again. A nice benefit they offer is that people who pay their rent early are entered into a drawing to get $50 off their next months rent.As far as facilities go, its OK, and maintenance is good. They recently installed mini porch roofs over all the loft unit porches so you dont get soaked while unlocking your door.As far as neighbors go, they do not discourage parties nor barking dogs; rather they suggest noise complaints be taken up with the police, so expect some noisy neighbors. they are very dog-friendly, with walking areas all over.
This place is truly a dump. Its old and it does not have the best people living in the community I would never reccomemd this place unless you were DESPERATE also expect robbery and mice. Office staff is nice but that does NOT help anything else
The staff here are friendly, responsive, and care about their community. They go a long way to make you feel like a neighbor instead of just a tenant.
I am torn while writing this post as there are many great features.Pros: location. Everything is very accessible, and convient to get to. The grounds are kept clean by the staff and maintaince is always helpful. (This is also going to be a con, but wait for me) the rent is affordable for the location we are in. Considering I could get the same apartment in Raleigh for +$150 or more dollars is a pro for me. Generally, its a good, affordable area.Cons: in my personal experience, and what we have dealt with in the last 7 months, there is no way I am going to renew our lease. The apartments are very old, and even with the updates, it shows. Because the foundation is old, our floors are very crooked. Imagine walking in a fun house. There are nails coming through the floor and breaking through the linoleum, (which weve reported, but doesnt seem like the staff is surprised). The biggest issue is that our AC has broken in the past 3 weeks, 3 times. Yes its been hot, so I have some understanding, but it gets upward to 85 degrees, and when it is working, doesnt get down past 75. I live in a 600 sq foot apartment with just my husband, and we pay upward to $170 in electricity. When your friend lives in a 6 bedroom house with 4 roommates, who constantly run their AC and computers, and pay about $200 a month for electric, yes I get a little salty. We have made our concerns known to the staff, and asked what we could do. They offered us to move apartments, (great!) but for a $150 transfer fee, another lease to sign, and the rent for the same apartment is about $120 more. There was no sympathy or desire to make it right for us.Also rent? They add in sewer and water (fair) and other tiny admin fees. Our base rent is $780, and we usually pay $860 a month. So just keep that in mind.Would I say stay away completely? No! But dont have high expectations, and be cautious of the quality of the apartment.
Worst complex or home Ive ever lived in. Maintenance is a joke, cars get vandalized, apartments were constantly having issues,(roaches, water damage, broken appliances). Broken latches on gates, broken light fixtures that never get fixed, I could go on. Some AC units not big enough to move air adequately through the apartment making cooling bills astronomical (current apartment is 600 square feet bigger and Im literally paying 1/4 of munch on my electric bill as I was there). The office staff was a mixed bag (some good (Will), some not so much) but the corporate office is down right criminal imo.The location is convenient but the place is not worth it, Id look somewhere else (not next door though, that complex looked even more Shady)
I love it beautiful place and the maintenance is very well
Good Maintenance great place to live beautiful pool
5 stars for the staff and how kind and responsive they are. Easily the best leasing office I have ever dealt with and I have lived with plenty of different apartment complexes. They attend to your issues in a personable and timely manner. There were little hitches on the apartment like the placement of the refrigerator. It is in a spot where I cant open on of the vegetable drawers all the way. Other than that - super affordable and homey place to live. Close to EVERYTHING. Trader joes and Crossroads and Cary Towne Center right down the road. If I wasnt moving in with my boyfriend, I would have renewed.
Great location and great staff!
Maintenance is good nice area to live in.
Wonderful place to live!
Maybe new management have helped but the two years I lived here are enough to recommend avoiding the place.
The maintenance man there is best
The manager is super rude and bold, live there good nons is in total fraud
Very good place to live...
Woodcreek is a great, super convenient community with an amazing staff!
Representatives were not transparent at all about the application process. I was lied to about the application, and then no further assistance was offered. Very unprofessional.
My friends live there and I used to visit quite often. I must say that their apartments condition is abysmal. I would say Avoid itThere were maintenance issues almost every 2-3 weeks. Though the maintenance and the management worked hard to solve them, their place was always riddled with issues.Just a few issues they faced, that I can remember:- Their carpet often gets wet with just a little amount rain- Their dishwasher stinks of drainage smell- The bathroom often gets clogged- Carpet inside walk-in closet often used to be wet due to some pipe leakage.- They once saw a snake just chilling right in front of their front door. They were helpless as they literally couldnt leave the apartment- Someone tried to break into my friends car- Even just a little amount of rain fills the entrance of their house with water and wet-mud. It always stays dirty.- And very recently, someone again tried to break into their house, the middle of the night.
Never mind
Maintenance is very professional Gus job👍🏽
