My family moved in over the summer. We had several issues in the home at move in which were relayed to the office staff. They worked with us and addressed each issue, even the small ones. Nowhere is perfect but we appreciated the workers taking the time to listen and fix the problems we had. Maintenance guys are nice, office staff is responsive, outside areas are really nice and you can’t beat the neighborhood. Looking forward to being here for the long haul.
I have lived here at Carpenter Village with my family for about five years now and I have to say that our experience here has been wonderful! The community is well kept and the staff have always been more than helpful and professional. The community is located in a great neighborhood with excellent schools, well suited for families. The few maintenance issues we have had over this time were always handled quickly and professionally. Aside from the fact that I am an employee of Weinstein Properties, there were other options in the area and we are so glad we chose to live at Carpenter Village. I would certainly recommend this community!
I have been staying at the Bexley for some time now and like the place. It is very good community for my family as we have many friends here. Schools are good and staff at Bexley are kind and helpful with issues.
Truly excellent. COVID has shuffled our lives around a lot but the team is amazing and made my move so easy. They are so responsive and eager to help. The process was contactless and everything could be handled via email and text. Im glad the gym is available even at limited capacity. I love my apartment so much but I also love the lake right within our neighborhood plus the food trucks that visit throughout the week though it makes wanting to cook harder. Its a good place to take long walks with my dog and get out for a tennis match too. Also, a big big bonus is having Google Fiber! This is a really great spot.
Couldnt say enough good things about this apartment complex! Always helpful and responds very quickly with nothing but positive attitudes. The apartment themselves are clean, family friendly, and feels like home. Their facilities are very nice and always clean also. Casi and Kyle at the desk were both super friendly and was eager to help answer any of my questions. Thank you everyone at Bexley!
The air quality in these apartments are horrible. Mine and my family’s noses have been stuffed for months.. we constantly find mold growing. No matter how much we clean or wash our blankets, it’s still difficult for us to breath or have a clear nose... we want to move just so we can breath again and for the safety of our health.
I had trouble getting everything set-up to get into our apartment. I talked to many people who were very helpful. But I want to highlight Taylor...Taylor helped me through a stressful situation and made sure that we got our apartment on time and he was there nonstop to walk me through things. Cant say enough about his amazing customer service (as with everyone Ive spoken to...Taylor just stood out).
This property is absolutely WONDERFUL!! The grounds are kept up beautifully and their pool area and clubhouse are such a draw! The model is beautiful and definitely worth taking a look at regardless of what floor plan you are looking for! And the staff is so professional and knowledgeable and from phone call to tour they were all so helpful and friendly and made me feel like apart of the family! I would highly recommend this property and am thinking very heavily about renting here myself in the future!!
Kudos to the staff. Thank you so much for the lovely breakfast that you provided for all of the tentants yesterday. Even during these difficult times they are trying to do nice things for us. Keep up the great work!
Professional staff and a great value!
This community looks exactly like the pictures that are given on the website. That doesnt happen very often. Pleasant surprise! The staff was nice and helpful when I inquired about renting. My friend lives here and she likes it. Definitely on the top of my list for next apartment if I stay in this area.
We recently lived at Bexley Carpenter Village before purchasing our own home. Our experience there was amazing. Staff was pleasant and helpful from the first tour we did. They always assisted us in whatever we needed. Maintenance was on top of everything. Although we were only there a year, it was a good year. We will definitely miss our Bexley friends. We will especially miss the community events and Starbucks coffee.
From the beginning of my experience, Bexley at Carpenter Village has been the best apartment group I’ve ever been with. The apartment itself is of great quality and I do not hear my neighbors. When I was told these were built in 2001, I was shocked. These apartments stand better than most apartments built in 2015. Availability here is sometime slim but it’s because people have found their home!We signed a 14 month lease & already talking about resigning another. We put off buying a home because this location is prime, the price is great for the area, and we love the customer service we get.I have never lived in a place with such friendly people. As being a new mom, I love that I also feel very safe here. Also with the addition of google fiber, this place is GOLD.
My husband and I toured these apartments a few months ago and while they are very spacious, they arent luxury. The neighborhood is beautiful and we really loved the playground and dog park areas but we were turned off by the age and look of the appliances.
I moved out of here a few months ago, and I miss it already. This is a GREAT place to live. Apartments are well-kept, lots of great amenities, and pet friendly. The best thing about this complex is the office staff - they are incredibly friendly and welcoming and committed to keeping their residents happy. I visited the office every day with my dog, and we were always greeted with smiles. Great sense of community. Rent is reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend this place!
When Im looking for the best apartment for my buck, I focus on several key details. Of course I look at the layout, amenities, appliances, storage, noise, etc. Most importantly, however, I take a seat and really observe how the office staff engages with residents. Issues can arise anywhere you live, so I want to rest assured that if and when an issue does arise, theres a staff and management team willing - and happy - to help me. Of course the staff at Carpenter Village was wonderful when I was touring the property, but when I saw how they treated incoming residents - with respect, warmth, understanding, and a genuine friendliness that is mostly only found in neighborhoods in small towns where neighbors have known each other for years, or decades - I knew this is where I wanted to make a new home for my family. Turns out, I was right. We moved in last fall and are looking forward to renewing our lease in a few months. The maintenance staff is timely and professional, and the leasing team always calls us by our names; my son isnt a fan of strangers but loves going into the office! Moving to Cary - and Carpenter Village - was the best move Ive made in a long time. As for the review above mine, Im excited to know that the staff would try to work with me on changing a move date if need be; anywhere else Ive lived in the past wouldnt have even tried. Luckily, I havent met that neighbor, but if youre reading this, rest assured - all of the neighbors Ive had the pleasure of meeting (and cooking out with, which we do on Saturdays if any of you want to join!) are pleasant professionals who help make this place feel like a real community.
Was impressed with how clean the place looked as I drive to the main office. The staff was very helpful and took a considerable amount time out of their day to show me the apartment and the complex. Love the dog park, but unfortunately at this time it would not be a good fit for me. Will be back ! Thanks everyone for your time
AWESOME place, people and area! I visited family here and I decided this is the place for me.They now have me and my 2 sisters living here with our families! This place is amazing, dog park, spacious apartments, soon to be a STARBUCKS bar by the office, this place has it all! The customer service is amazing and Samantha in the office, is a JOY to work with. She is so friendly and pleasant.I have never been treated so kindly in regards to having a leasing consultant respond to every question I had with ease. She is so great to work with and I am blessed to be able to call this place home! Its right down the street from restaurants and shopping centers as well as a great school district and just an ALL AROUND great place!!! RENT HERE and you wont regret it, I know I wont!!! :)
My stay At Bexley has been more than fantastic. I love the community here. Everyone is so friendly. Everyone in the office is helpful when it comes to our needs. I just renewed for another year and I do not plan on leaving any time soon.
My husband and I lived in the 3 bedroom town house when we first got married. The space was amazing! I liked having the neighborhood around us - we would walk around the neighborhood when the weather was nice.
Unforgettable experience. Great location. Huge open areas. Near to a beautiful trail along side a small lake. Tracey, the Property Manager has been so very caring and helpful. The property has been managed and maintained very well. Staff is well trained too and service and support is quick. Overall a great place to live.
We moved here 7/8 months ago and actually our apartment is spacious & airy! Overall the community is nice. The maintenance staff is also prompt and helpful. However our apartment is on the 1st floor and we are fed up with the flies, mosquitoes, roaches, ants and some other small bugs too! Even after doing the pest control several times, we still have this issue!! So it’s quite frustrating!!
I am reviewing my move in experience and my stay in 1BR apartments at Bexley Carpenter.Id like to say this is one of the really best apartment communities Ive lived !The apartments are very well kept, the community I feel is safe and has wonderful ambience. Retail marts and grocery stores are within a mile or two, nice garden and a lake within walking distance. There are walking trails around the community .I enjoyed the view of the corn fields from my apartment. You also get to use the grill and enjoy it in gazebo :).. not to forget to the car wash facility !The leasing staff is friendly and very professional. They share complete information at the time of move in of any miscellaneous fees (like the deposit, app fee etc) . They gladly accept packages/deliveries at their office.I personally feel that sharing all the details of the move-in fees is really important so that you dont get a shocker at the time of signing the lease or after you move in.Id like to give a five star simply for the comfort of living in their apartments .Cheers!
The level of customer service is much greater than I would have expected from an apartment community. Everyone is very friendly and quick to respond to any needs we may have. The apartments are not as modern as some of the others in the area, but service means more to us. The community is always well maintained and we love visiting the farmers market on Saturdays that is in walking distance. My dog also loves the dog park and treats from the office staff. Again, not the newest community, but excellent service.
Great response time from maintenance. Thank you!
My experience at Bexley has been fantastic. I will be moving out and I will miss the friendliness in the community and the helpful staff. The clubhouse is an added bonus that has computer and internet access, where I am able to print all my important documents from. I am sad that I will be missing the annual pool party this year. I thank you for being such a wonderful place to live with excellent customer service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment.
I have really enjoyed my last 6 months at Bexley at Carpenter Village. Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Maintenance is quick on fixes and professional. All around great community and nice atmosphere.
The leasing team is always very helpful and nice. Really enjoy the free coffee and cookies. Just a little something extra that really does make our experience extremely enjoyable.
I don’t normally write reviews online. But I did feel like I needed to commend the Bexley staff on a recent scenario that was out of everyone’s control. I don’t know all the details, but something happened to a pipe underground which forced the water to be shut off in my building. I have owned a house before and I know that things happen. And when you own your own house, you are in charge of fixing everything. But when you live in an apartment, the management company handles things. Even though the water was out for many hours, the staff at Carpenter Village hand delivered water and made me feel comfortable with everything happening. Like I said, some things are out of control and the water going out on New Years Eve was not something that anyone would have chosen. I’m grateful to live in a community where the staff cares about its residents enough to bring us the supplies that they could and to always have a smile on their face.
I love this charming community. From the staff to the amenities, I am proud to call Carpenter Village home.
Bexley Carpenter Village has an Amazing staff. Ms. Angela & Ms. April are wonderful🤗 very Professional, excellent welcoming provided important information and a great tour of the facility along with the the pool, gym, access to computers doggy park, childrens park, gazebo, community grill and more.they were also were kept CLEAN😃. Thank You Bexley staff Members for your great services . if your looking for a place to call home whether is short or long lease bexley carpenter is the place for all ur needs👍🌼🌺☀😁
No water for few days, no ETA, no alternate arrangements.Water problems are increased in last few months.Ive lived here for more than 5 years and until recently, I loved it here (after all, I keep renewing my lease). Now is not the same feeling.
The hallways and common areas are filthy and the trash piles up outside the trash compactor. My son just moved out after a year because the neighbor left their garbage out in the hall for days and management couldn’t/wouldn’t do anything about it. Look around
We just recently moved out of this apartment complex to our new home, but it was probably the best apartment we have ever rented and would recommend it to anyone. The office staff was always helpful and our dog always appreciated the snacks and attention he got when visiting. The amenities were great - we always took advantage of the pool, the coffee bar and the dog park. We had an Ashley floorplan and for a one bedroom, it was pretty spacious with the open floorplan. We also loved that the apartment came with a washer and dryer so we didnt have to purchase one at the time. The neighborhood in general is quiet, we never had issues finding parking and enjoyed the ponds around the complex to walk our dog around. One thing that we really appreciated was when it came time to move out - we still had about 7 months left in our lease, but unlike any other apartment community Ive lived in, they give you the option to try to rent your apartment out for you to avoid paying the penalty (in our case, 2 months rent since we had so much time left on the lease). They were able to rent our apartment, which in the end saved us a lot of money, which was much appreciated with the expenses of purchasing a home.
This is a very old property with a high rent.I have been living here for more than 15 months and every now and then one or another appliance goes down. Homes are average and the appliances look like 20 years old. The staff is good and responsive but some times it takes 3 days to complete a maintenance request and you would not want maintenance guy in your home every now and then to work on something. Last summer I struggled with AC unit which was getting down twice every month, sometime its a tap leaking, flush broken and now its dishwasher which has given up. While I am writing this, I have 2 open maintenance and once I finish writing I will be doing my dishes.I have recently renewed my lease and the only thing is stopping me to search a new home is awesome people in the neighborhood and in the society. Lets see how long it takes me to choose a better home over the helpful and friendly neighbors.
I have been living in Bexley@Carpenter Village for almost 18 months now. This place is centrally located within Cary and approximately located within 1 mile radius for Walmart, Grocery, Indian Stores and Restaurants. The best thing about the community is its the open free space within the community, play park, dog park, grilling area, gathering place for party and get together, enough parking place. This also falls within the best schools zone like davis drive, green hope, carpenter.Tracy and the other staff in the leasing office is very helpful and co-operative. This community celebrates all major events like Christmas, Spring, Halloween and Summer pool party. The maintenance are timely done at no additional cost.I love this community and would highly recommend if you want to spend some good time with your family.
THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX DOES NOT RECYCLE.Bexley used to have two large recycling bins, then just one, and now they have announced that they are ceasing the recycling program entirely. They want all waste -- including plastic, glass, and paper -- to be thrown away, where it will be taken to a landfill. Whats more, they have increased our rent every year by at least $50/month, and are now claiming that our trash fee will increase because of this change in policy.I value the environment and do what I can to reduce my own carbon footprint, but I am afraid that the lack of effort and investment by North Carolina businesses has more than undone all of my choices. It is disheartening that in the year 2019 we still have short-sighted people --who should be community leaders and role models -- reversing any progress we make as individuals. This company -- the Weinstein Company -- does not care about the environment, they do not respect the loyalty of multi-year renters, and I am sure that this pattern will continue. If you have a choice about where to live in the Cary/Morrisville area, I suggest you look to a company with better social values and higher accountability.
**************UPDATE: This management was so petty as to break up my daughters birthday party at the community pool in retaliation for this bad (but completely deserved) review. This is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Petty and vindictive in addition to completely incompetent. Can this management team get any lower that this? I wonder if they strangle puppies in their spare time, when they arent trying to ruin little girls birthday parties. Unbelievable.***************The residents are friendly, but the office staff is incompetent. This has bitten me in the ass both at move-in and at move-out.When I was moving in, they lost my paperwork and forgot that they had told me to talk to them close to the move in date to set a day. When I tried, repeatedly, to sign my lease and set a move-in date in advance, they said I was too early and they didnt have anything together yet. Then, when I came to them the month of, they said they had an earlier move in date set in their computer, and they tried to charge me from then! Now, when I am moving out, I tried again to talk to them in advance, giving them a tentative date, and agreeing to come in again closer to the move-out time to firm things up. Well lo and behold, when I do go in at the beginning of the month to pay rent and set a move-out date, they again just have a date in their computer, and have already re-rented my place, without telling me, and insist I stick to their date or else pay huge penalties! Well, moving companies dont work that way, no matter how much they wish them to. So I am angry, whoever is supposed to move into this apartment will be angry, all for no good reason whatsoever. If you have to deal with this office staff, pretend you are talking to very dim children, and dont give them any scrap of information in advance. They will never do intelligent things with the information.
Just moved to the area and my family and I are very happy! Such a wonderful community, my kids have also already made friends here. Couldnt ask for anything more!
In our building water is leaking since more than a month, not bothered to fix.Poor maintained. Hallways are always dirty. Never cleaned
Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Great location and best schools for my kids. Enjoy living here.
Gm GM kings and queens I just want to rant this morning about my apartment and the team here this place is awesome and everyone is just so well mannered and even the maientence crew is awesome I watched them do the work out here and the fast service they have I cant believe it I have never lived anywhere before were the whole team is pleasant ms April with her warm smiles, ms Sam, ms. Angela great job ladies continue to allow god to use you because you are making a difference to the maientence team awesome job especially my hat goes off to the young lady ms. Tonya because shes the only female tec out here and she does an amazing job but Mr. Rodney. Mr. Moe, mr.john, thanks for such an amazing job
They would be rated higher but frankly, and I don’t mind admitting this, that this review comes from a place of frustration. Our bedroom ceiling in the Seabrook floorplan began leaking with the rain this week. However, this is the 4th time that this has happened since we moved in back in April 2017. I feel that we have been more than understanding but each time we are assured that the problem will be “fixed” and yet here I am writing this. So no, I don’t recommend that anyone move here, specifically into this floor plan at least, because if we cannot get our ceiling fixed because chances are that you can’t get it “fixed” either. Also, the window sills have water pool occasionally but we have been assured that that has been “fixed” as well.
We have been staying here for the last 10 months. The maintenance service is very very poor. For every request, we ended up following us multiple time.I would rate them very poorly when it comes to maintenance and after service.
Last Thursday night, 9/11/14, I was doing my dishes and went to turn on the water when the kitchen faucet handle broke off. [No water spewed. I was glad of that.] I called the maintenance phone number [ using the handy kitchen magnet that was on my refrigerator to get the number] and reported the problem. That was about 7:30 pm. I figured it would get fixed in one or two days. Later that night, at around 10 pm, Carl called and said he was outside my door and was there to fix the faucet. He didnt want to knock because he didnt know if I had sleeping kids in the house. That was very considerate of him. Carl fixed the faucet in about 15 or 20 minutes. I told him I figured that it would be fixed tomorrow. He said he considered it an emergency. He was just watching tv, got the call, and came over. I was very pleased. Carl was polite, considerate, professional, and knew what he was doing. He cleaned up the sink area before he left.Thank you for taking care of my needs. I have told everyone how wonderful it is to live at Bexley at Carpenter Village.
I leave here for more than 5 Years and without any doubt it is best place to leave. This is for me as a second home as I leave here most after my home in india. This is reason I choose it right away when I came for second time i.e Jan-2014. I am surely going to miss this place.I had lot of memory associated with this place.
I was so excited to move here. I loved the amenities and the staff was great. After touring I went back to my home Bexley at Panther Creek to initiate my transfer to move here (almost 2 months prior) . I was scheduled to move Jan 6th . Everything seemed great. I received confirmation that I would be moving in and signed all transfer documents and would sign the lease the day I moved in. Well 3 days before my scheduled move everything hit the fan. I received a phone call from my property manager Tracey stating that I would no longer be able to move to Bexley at Carpenter Village as the tenants did not move out but I would not be able to stay in my current apartment because it was rented out to someone else AND I couldnt move because I was still bound by my 14 month lease since my transfer didnt happen. I was essentially homeless because Bexley at Carpenter Village failed to notify me that the tenants didn’t move out a week prior as they were supposed to and now, I had 3 days to figure out. As you can imagine I was heated. What’s even crazier is no one from CV even called me. I had to call the corporate office to get in contact with them. I get a call back from one of the associates who was not very sincere or helpful at all. Says she cannot say why the tenants didn’t move out (understandable) and that it is not my fault (obviously). She then proceeds to tell me that I can try different places to see if they have availability so that I can complete my transfer as they now have nothing available until March. So not only are they not even going to provide another alternative they’re not even going to assist me with looking. I was so blown away. I had been in contact with these people for a month or so now and they were very nice, so I was very confused. Miraculously she finds a 1 br which I turn down as I was moving from a 2br to 3 br. She then offers a 3br townhome available 2 weeks later with none of the amenities we had in the apartment we had before (hardwood floors, spacious rooms, double doors etc) which was about $300 more. We had agreed to pay $1642 for the original apartment that we wanted and now we had to pay more to be displaced for 2 weeks and not get the features we wanted. I asked if it was possible to get the same rate as before – for the inconvenience. That was denied. I got a call later that day from Angela – she apologized and told me that they may be going through the eviction process with the tenant an that I could move in shortly after. I told her thanks but no thanks as I know they can span up to 45 days. After a few hours of back and forth with both properties and the corporate office I was allowed to stay at my Panther Creek apartment for the time that I needed. That is terrible business practice. They really gave me 3 days to figure everything out and probably would not have even called me. I moved the following week into a townhouse with much better amenities for $1500. It has also left a bad taste in my mouth for all Bexley properties. I would never recommend this place to anyone solely based off how they handled this situation.
Landscape is beautiful, I can hear the birds outside in the mornings. Very peaceful.
Horrible experience for maintenance serviceThis is second day without water and there is no timeline provided when this will get fixed. Also there is no alternative arrangement made.
Shame on you! I lived in there one year from 2011-2012. I noticed the countertop was burned when I moved in and I put it on the checklist and told the staff. After I moved out, they still charge me $475 for that countertop damage, and send me the bill in 2013. I tried to argue, but I was told they sold the debt to collector, I can only pay it or not pay it.
My husband and I are considering relocating to Cary in the next few months and we decided to stop by to tour at Bexley At Carpenter Village to see what they had to offer. We were excited to tour the property after reading the great reviews, however, our excitement changed to frustration when we entered the office. One lady looked at us and said hello and then she continued to do whatever she was doing at her desk, while the other lady just sat at her desk. We stood in the club house for about 5 minutes without any assistance at all and was ready to leave. My husband said lets just look at it since were here. My husband had to approach the ladies to ask if someone could show us an apartment. The lady named Samantha, (we only know her name becuase of her name tag, not because she told us) toured us and she was very sweet, however, I wish that we would have been greated and toured correctly from the very begining. Needless to say, we will not be leasing there. Customer service is important for me! I toured another property in Cary and received receieved great service from the moment that we walked through the door. I worked in the apartment industry for a few years so I usually have pretty high expectations when looking for a new apartment home for my family.
Sent a email almost a month ago to schedule a tour. Their office staff, Samantha, responded at first but then I didnt hear back after trying to firm up the date and time. For the price of the properties I expect much more.
Spoke with a young woman named Miranda fox, she was extremely helpful and pleasant.
I just had to share how kind and professional my experience has been. First time taking a virtual tour was here and they just really took their time with me to figure it all out. I’m looking forward to calling this place home.
I love it here! I chose Bexley at Carpenter Village because of its location and proximity to RTP. Now, I appreciate how easy it is to get to Cary, Apex, or South Durham. After 9 months, I am still glad that I moved here. Tracy and the office staff are friendly and courteous. I havent had problems with the maintenance staff entering my unit. I enjoy the peace and quiet, ability to walk the surrounding neighborhood (ESPECIALLY THE LAKE), the music and food events in the area, and THE FITNESS CENTER (which is good enough to cancel a gym membership). The intersection at Davis/Morrisville-Carpenter has mostly everything you need for convenience (BP gas station, animal hospital, Walmart Grocery, Food Lion, Walgreens, CVS). Its not really noisy from day to day. Mostly young families, young professionals, young mature college students here. In other words, it is a great place to call home!
The Staff here is the best thing about this place.
I have been living in this community for more than 3 years and not a once thought came in my mine to leave this community. This is not merely the best apartment in this area but it is also one of the best apartment with supportive, competent staff. Specially i love dealing with maintenance staff who are courteous and supportive at a time. My wife cant speak fluent english but still i never had a problem dealing with them. Tracy is one of the best community manager i ever dealt with. She is always calm and understand the concerns. During the summer, they arrange lot of activities for Kids including pool party and Music concert. This community has a big play ground nearby for kid, has a farmers market, food lion, indian store and restaurants at walking distance which is hardly to find at any other community.I would highly recommend to consider this as one of the best options.Subhash Bhagat
