Apartments have gone south under new Manager. No Tvs work. Largest TV broken, since February. Gas Grills have not worked for months and Charcoal Grill is disgusting. Patio Furniture stained! Couch at entranceway is broken, printer in business center isnt working and the hall carpets are appalling. When will this nonsense stop. Corporate or owners need to take notice.
I moved here in July, 2020 after seeing many apartments in the area. This was my choice due to all of the wonderful amenities. Since then, they have one-by-one gone away!!!The pool gets very dirty; the TVs in the gym and community room are not working and have not been for some time; the secure doors can be easily pulled open; the bar-b-ques have not been working for a few months; and the carpets are dirty.The current Manager seems very indifferent to these issues as they have been brought to his attention by many, including myself. In fact, he tends to be rude, and has been to me personally. I let him know about 3 months ago that the secured door wasnt working and his comment was How come nobody else has told me about this? COMPLETELY DISMISSIVE OF ME! IM TELLING YOU ABOUT IT! It has yet to be fixed!He seems to have a pat answer that things will be renovated in 2022! WHAT???? WE LIVE HERE NOW! Within our rent fees are the costs of these amenities. Where is the WORKING CAPITAL to take care of daily management of the property?It is my hope that this Manager will be replaced by someone who understands that he has a duel responsibility: 1. To his management, and 2. To those who pay his salary -- THE RESIDENTS.In addition, PLEASE ENSURE THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES ARE PART OF THE OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES and VALUES OF THIS POSITION.This has all fallen on deaf ears so far! My hope is that this time it will be addressed immediately so that the residents are once again, proud to be at Meridian.
Location! Location! Location! I looked at over 25 apartment and townhome communities before finding Meridian at Harrison Pointe. Its the ideal place as its walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, downtown Cary (only 1.1 miles), a few greenways/trails, and a very short drive (or bike ride!) to Umstead State Park. The common areas and landscapes are well-kept and the residents are friendly. Our community manager, Michael, and his entire team are very responsive.
Absolutely AWFUL customer service. We are from out of state, looking to move to NC ASAP. We had several appointments to view apartments over a weekend. We also had specific request for short term lease. I called every apartment we were touring to make sure they had 6 month leasing options. We fell in love with the area and location along with the property. Scott was amazing(SO WE THOUGHT) we received pricing information, decided this would be our home for 6 months until we found a permanent home. Boy were we fooled. When we decided to move forward we called Scott and that’s when things became shady!! The prices he quoted were for a year he stated. When At least 3 times we were clear that we ONLY wanted 6 months. Then on top of an extremely higher quote he tacked on $150 more. WOW. That was NEVER mentioned. DEFINITELY A BAIT AND SWITCH. so disappointed. We then asked to have a manager call us back. I emailed corporate as well. Mind you this was a Saturday. We NEVER heard back from (Essace) until Wednesday. Terrible customer service. I would NEVER recommend working with this property or management. This was an awful experience especially our first time in NC. BEWARE STAY AWAY!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
Very nice place, friendly people around, very close to many big stores like Harris teeter, Lidl, Aldi, an WalMart., clean and secure environment, good customer service, beautiful clubhouse and swimming pool,
Oh my God, I love my loft apartment its so cozy and intimate, Scott is the best, his personality is through the roof. He actually cares and it shows!! I felt very welcomed by the entire staff, everyone was so professional and helpful. I look forward to getting settled in.
I really really enjoy my apartment, my neighbors, and this awesome community I have just received my renewal letter, and planning to sign for another year.I want to thank Jana for showing me how amazing this place is. I was actually her 1st lease back in early April 2019. Since then, there were some personnel changes in the front office. The new office members, Scott and Essence are amazing. It is reassuring that Jana, the reason why I signed with Meridian, is still there. She provides constancy in excellent customer service, strong work ethic, and her willingness to help anyone. Jana has been very helpful in making my Meridian at Harrison Pointe experience extremely awesome.
We had a great experience living at Meridian at HP. The management is great, especially Essence and Scott. They have always been polite and very professional, went above and beyond to help and make sure we were taken care of as residents. The two maintenance guys are awesome as well. They followed up with any work orders promptly. They did a great job to keep the grounds clean and nice. We were in one of the carriage homes with a garage. Loved it, it is beautiful apartment and wonderful community to live in. The neighborhood is very safe and within walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants across the street. We would have stayed had it not been for a job relocation.
Hi future renters! I wanted to jump on here and give Scott a shout out! The man is efficient and an all around kind person. I adore my apartment and the amenities/shopping area are super convenient. I always feel at home and safe in this community. Give Scott a ring for a tour and make this place your next home!
Ive only been here a short while, but I really love it so far! Very nice apartments, clean and safe area, well-kept landscaping and super responsive and kind staff. Close to anything you could need and maintenance fixes any issues within a day of you submitting a request. Dog and kid friendly, and not noisy whatsoever!
I lived here from 2017-2019... I was hated by the staff because I spoke up about the termite infestation. The pest control even admitted this was a huge problem. Pink fungus on the walls are not fungus or mold...those are termites!!!! Worst staff!
My experience at these apartments was mixed. I will break it down into pros and cons.PROS:1) They have very cool events quite often2) They take their service requests very seriously and act on those very promptly3) The facilities are pretty great4) Once I was late on rent due to some mishap and they forgave my penalty feeCONS:1) When I joined the apartments, I was shown one apartment but once I signed the lease, it ended up being another apartment in the corner with no sunlight. Please make sure to thoroughly check which exact apartment it is.2) They are nice to you as long as it serves the purpose but there is a complete attitude change when things dont go their way. For ex. My lease renewal application didnt go through and because of which I got charged a monthly fee which I realized after one month. When I went to the office, the lady was extremely rude to me and showed her apparent distrust in me. I just requested her to refund it if possible and if not that was fine but she didnt seem to be satisfied with that either.3) After that once I signed the lease, they still charged me that fee and refunded it after calling them out on it. This time they refunded the full amount charged which they had mentioned that they could not do so before.4) Initially when I had written a review, I got a call from them to explain myself and then they asked me for feedback. To which I mentioned all the above and all they did was just apologize and took no action to resolve it.5) Every now and then I would find dead cockroaches and pink fungus on the wall developing.6) Lastly as I moved to another apartment, I got a call from a collection agency on a fee that the apartments had assessed that I should pay. I did so, however, if they didnt have my forwarding address, they could have called just like they did for the review. At least that way I would have understood the breakdown of the fee.
Wife and I recently moved to the Raleigh area, and after looking at several different properties we are SO happy that we chose Meridian at Harrison Pointe! The staff is incredible, apartment is beautiful and very spacious. We worked with Kayla and she was very knowledgeable. The management and maintenance team is top notch as well! Its in a very convenient location, being so close to grocery stores and downtown Cary as well as a short drive to downtown Raleigh. We highly recommend this property and would give it 10 stars if we could!!
Great location. It was nice u till we had issues with mice . Apts are very small for the price.Lol 30 days after We moved I got a call from a collections agency over $138.23 for a water bill that i paid on time ..SMH.It was a mistake on Meridian at Harrison Point.😤😤 that could have effected my credit score i work for hard at keeping in great standingKeep away from this place they are shady
Meridian at Harrison Pointe was my place of residence for about 1 year after graduating. Absolutely fantastic place to live, I would recommend to anyone. I commend the staff for their dedication to excellence and I am going to miss the convenience of a shopping center next door!
The property is good, nice apartments and great amenities. Apartment events each month are a lot of fun and they have a really clean pool.One big problem is bugs (silverfish) and they do not have a good service in place to remedy this. I have raised requests several times but nothing has been done so far. Management is not proactive on this and many other tenants have had this issue. Also, Its difficult to get a response from anyone in office unless I go see them in office.Based on this I would not renew lease next year.
We love it here. Absolutely no complaints. the property is well cared for, maintenance is responsive, office staff is friendly, and the community is fairly quiet. I was hesitant to move into an apartment with 2 little ones, but it has been a pleasant experience. Related to that- Marsha is wonderful. She had additional (childproof) locks installed on our patio and front doors to ease my concerns. i appreciate the almost weekly events and the coffee/tea bar in the clubhouse (for us it offsets the cost of rent we pay lol). The community rules are strict and, as someone with children, i appreciate that. Being next door to so many amenities is really what sold us. Grocery, shopping, dining and even childcare, all within feet of the property. As for the actual apartment, it is beautifully designed. our loft makes our 2 bedroom look and feel very spacious. The closets are huge and the bathrooms both have double sinks. My only complaint would be the water pressure sucks at times, but that is to be expected when your sharing water with hundreds of people...
Meridian at Harrison Point is what you would expect from a luxury apartment complex - pool, club house, granite countertops, nice landscaping, car wash etc..What sets Meridian apart are the people. The office staff is always a pleasure to speak to and work with. Maintenance is punctual, friendly, responsive and gets the job done. Neighbors are hospitable, quiet, and friendly.Location is great - IT IS RIGHT NEXT TO A HARRIS TEETER. You have no idea how convenient this is until you don’t have it. Central to Cary, and maybe 6-7 minutes from I-40.
We lived at Meridian for about 15 months in total from October 2016 -January 2018. The office staff has had some turnover, as well as the Cares team, but pretty much everyone has been very helpful. We were part way through our 6 month lease when I took a job out of state and had to relocate. The office staff was very helpful in explaining the process of transferring our lease and getting out of it. We did that and it went smoothly. During our time at Meridian I have to say that the maintenance staff was absolutely superb. Every single service order/work request we submitted was fixed within 24 hours. They are totally on top of it. The property itself is VERY clean and well maintained, there is a ton of parking, residents are quiet and respectful, and the apartment are well built (very quiet/seem to be decently insulated/etc.). Would definitely recommend living here. Prices are competitive with pretty much all other apartment communities in the area, but you get a lot more bang for your buck here.

I really enjoy living here. Really nice place inside and out. The location is great as well. I’ve seen quite a few other places in this area but it’s very few that can compare. Also, the staff is amazing and very nice. They do quite a bit for us here.
I think everyone agrees overall its a fairly well run place. For me though I think of it you can do better. My big issue is central air isnt as good as some other apartments Ive had. You can all the fancy bells and whistles but if youre not comfortable when you go to sleep at night what do they matter? Also seen an uptick in outside noise this year.
We had an appointment at 12 on saturday, we drove 20 minutes to the location and showed up at 11.50 hoping we can have guided tour at our booked slot.Despite of waiting till 12.25 and trying to make many calls and leaving voice mails no one cared to call us back. Had very disappointing experience. Completely wasted half an hour for nothing. Hoping management will respect others time next time onwards and will notify the people beforehand if they cannot keep up with the timings.
Overall nice place and nice staff but the maintenance is terrible. My washer was making noises and I reported it multiple times. The maintenance guys came to look at it and “fixed” it numerous times. Last night my washer woke us up from the loud noise but they still won’t replace it. Also my AC hasn’t been working for a week. When I moved in I was told my AC filters would be changed regularly but when I opened the utility closet that was clearly not the case.
Been living here for 15 months, and my apartment floods every time it rains. My roof has collapsed and rained water into our bedroom on 3 separate occasions, my porch has continuously flooded, and my carpet gets soaked every single time it rains. I have told the front office about it approximately 15 times and maintenance comes out and does nothing to prevent it. I have been told that there is a project in the works to add an awning to cover porches, but this hasnt happened and it has been months, and even if it does ever happen, it clearly wont address the issue of a door that isnt sealed properly. I have reported this about 15 times dating back over 6 months. Over the last few days, Samantha at the front office and William who is head of maintenance are now saying that they are refusing to come after hours to dry up the water. I am sick and tired of waking up at 4am to clean water in my apartment because it isnt considered a maintenance emergency even though my home is leaking and my carpet is soaked. They also bring out a blower to dry the carpet, and told me that I should have known it was going to rain the rest of the week so I shouldnt have given it back and was asked to store it in my apartment. I told them that I refused to store their dirty equipment in my home, and that they needed to do their jobs instead of treating my apartment like their garage. They have refused to do so. I have lived in studio apartments for $450 / mo that didnt have nearly as many problems as this brand new $1400 / mo 2 BR from Meridian at Harrison Pointe. This place is horrible, construction is total garbage, management in non-existent, and front office staff and maintenance staff are rude and useless. This is by far the worst place I have ever lived.
Moving in this month but so far our experience has been wonderful! Kayla, in the office, helped us find the perfect apartment with wonderful amenities and has been so attentive to our needs; she is always getting back to us in a timely manner! Marsha has been so friendly and worked with us to find the perfect move-in date! My fiancé and I are so excited to start this new journey at the Meridian at Harrison Point!
Ive lived here since before they finished constructing the remainder of the buildings. Throughout my stay, Ive always had excellent experiences with the staff. Theyre kind and accommodating, and will go out of their way to help out. Ive even had staff come play with my kitten while a cable technician worked on some issues we were having [I was at work]. I couldnt be happier with living here -- and the location certainly doesnt hurt either.
This place is amazing. I love living here. The staff is fantastic. Very accommodating and just really nice people.
I am completely disgusted with this place and the staff. It is infested with silver fish and the staff has made little to no effort to correct this issue. Management does not get back with you in a timely manner and continuously brushes the infestation under the rug. Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

I love this place. The management and workers are wonderful and willing to accommodate any way they can. Ive lived in a number of complexes since Ive moved here in 2013 and this was my favorite. I would definitely recommend this place.
