Two stars is being generous and I’m not giving one star because the staff was very friendly. After arrival into the airport we didn’t any shuttle van to the rental location. We called after waiting for about 10 minutes. Staff told us the shuttle van would take 10-15 minutes. After waiting another 20 minutes we took a taxi.After getting our vehicle, the interior was stained everywhere. Nasty spill stains. There weren’t any other cars to swap to. It’s obvious they receive the cars, and immediately rent them out with minimal cleaning. Car had scratches and dings everywhere.Taking a chance on another rental place next time.

Great price and wonderful experience! Shuttle was quick, vehicle was waiting for us with trunk open. We were on our way in 5 minutes. FYI there is a Supermax grocery store right next door if you need any supplies. It is more expensive, though, so only get the necessities.

Easy pick up and drop off, wished it was at airport location but it isn’t, wasn’t a deal breaker as I got the car at 12$ a day. The front desk was very helpful and kind, Entire staff made me feel like Welcomed

Please stay away from them.We had our reservation made out months prior to our arrival set for pick up time at 10:30AM made via Expedia; unfortunately, after several hours of flight delays, we made it into the airport at 2:30 PM. Waited for the shuttle 45 minutes, while calling with no answer to inquire about the time schedule of the shuttle, when finally someone answers and tells us our reservation has been cancelled with a NO SHOW (and that they run shuttle every 20 minutes, which is not true at all). Their policy is cancel after 2 hours (not advisable at any point to us), so as of 12:30 PM that day, we no longer had a reservation and if we need further assistance, we should contact Expedia (good luck with that! their wait time to speak with someone is between 2-3 hours). We tried pleading that we had flight delays, but no luck. Shuttle arrives 1 hour and 30 minutes later (!!), we tried reasoning with the driver, its a no go. Worst customer service, lack of everything you can think of: communication, professionalism, you name it! No, I would not recommend booking with them, unless you want your vacation ruined. One star is too much.

Pros: no hidden costs, customer service was great, and helped me to make a reservation with my dates, even though i originally booked the wrong dates- oops!Cons: no running shuttle that I could see ( had to take a taxi ( but then again I booked the wrong dates), and hours are limited. It was super convienent as other reviews pointed out to just leave the car in the garage, but between the taxi, and parking fee the cost savings from an off airport location was negated.Would use again if hours were expanded.

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERE! I reserved my car weeks in advance prior to my trip. I rented a 5 passenger vehicle thru expedia and my mom decided to come to PR with us last minute. When we arrived they refused to let me rent the vehicle and said they would not rent the vehicle I booked weeks in advance thru expedia. He stated the reason was that we were a party of 6 eventhough I said I was putting my mom on an Uber and she would not go in the car with us. I have an infant baby, my flight was delayed and he had no sympathy. I had to take another hour looking for a ride to my hotel that was 45 min away. The worst 1st experience in PR. The first impression I got from PR. I will advise all my family and friends not to take leisure here and not to ever deal with this low class cheapskate car rental place.

This rental company is not at the airport as stated on Expedia, where we made our reservation. Although our reservation stated our departure time was 12:00 am, we were informed they are closed then and we would have to drop the car off at airport parking which is another added fee.FYI if purchasing insurance through Orbit or Expedia they do not accept it, you will have to purchase their coverage which was another extra fee. I do not recommend!

Very unprofessional service. My order was cancelled because I didn’t showed up within one hour of my reservation time (I actually called 70 mins past my time). Really no flexibility against flight delays and the time required at the airport to claim your bags and clear all the COVID requirements. Someone needs to teach this company how to be more realistic with their policies.

Amazing service! Great rates and clean vehicle!!I could not get any other Airport rental as they were almost all booked and immensely expensive. Through Expedia I got very low rate.Initially I was skeptical about off airport rental; but service was great!Make sure to call them after you land so that they know and can send shuttle sooner.For drop off, it took literally less than 5 mins and we were all packed in shuttle back to Airport. Car itself was very well maintained and clean.Thank you so much Europcar

Best experience I ever had with car rental places. Excellent customer service! No waiting time, as soon I got there, employees received me with a big smile, car was ready and the check in process very smooth! Definitely, this will my place to go to rent a car every time I visit the Island!!!

I can’t really rate based on car quality or anything since our rental car was non existent (we conveniently only found out when picking it up and after my family was dropped off 👌 no email alerting us of this issue, no text, no call). Not only was the situation cruddy but it was followed with smug attitudes. IF by chance being stranded without a rental that you were PRETTY SURE you rented and being treated faulty is your thing (I’ve heard of weirder things) then I 10/10 recommend.

Rented from them from 7/8-7/15/20...Never heard from this Co. before but decided to give em a try... Im glad I did... The shuttle was actually waiting when I got there... A 5 minutes drive and youre there... My rental was all ready waiting for me.. The advertised price is what I paid, no hidden /surprise charges.. Very clean, professional...Couple of tips tho: 1)Theyre not open 24hrs so if your flight leaves after 9pm you must drop rental at the airport parking at your expense.. They pick up @8am. I paid about $10 no biggie. 2) In order to save rental insurance ($11/day) you must take your car insurance ID card with you as proof of liability insurance. Even if your CC covers you. Will definitely rent from them again.

TERRIBLE. Roaches was crawling on the walls. Paint was peeling. Smell very bad. Saw a hole in the wall. Mouse ran by my suitcase. The shuttle was DISGUSTING. They did not wear mask. CALLED ME RAICAL SLURS! Tried to pull my hair. Took my nose piercing out. Nasty dog running around. JUST TERRIBLE

Had a great experience. The young lady- Laydy at the front desk was extremely helpful and patient. Since I didnt have my insurance card on me she was understanding. She provided an email where I could send it to. She waited patiently with a smile on ALL the time. Best rental price!!!

Arrived at Luis Muñoz Marin airport in San Juan PR and waited for 3 hours for a shuttle to arrive to take me to terminal to pick up vehicle which was rented through Expedia and fully paid for! While waiting, I called 45 times for an hour straight and the phone rang and then had a busy tone; eventually call ended... Had to find alternative transportation, inconvenience friends for a ride and a place to crash for the night. Attempted to cancel reservation via Expedia this morning and refund could not guaranteed. Not to mention that the Expedia representative also attempted to call while I was on hold for almost 10 minutes to no avail. Now, I am left on the island for 13 days and no car rental because all other places are booked and I am still not at my destination as I am currently sitting in another town on a bench waiting for yet another friend to pick me up! Oh and did I forget to mention that I am pregnant and traveling with an elderly?!!! THIS IS TRULY UNACCEPTABLE!

Easy hassle free car rental. About a 5 minute shuttle ride from the terminal, does not take too much longer than the rental places in the terminal.

It was a huge hassle to get from the Airport to Europcar Rental Site to pickup the car. The office doesnt answer the phones ar all.

Only giving a 1 star, because I can’t give a 0 star. Showed up, reservation, they canceled it without telling me. Found out someone wrecked the car we were supposed to have upon return, and they never called to tell us. Just let us show up with no rental to go have a fun day with the kids. Wouldn’t give us a shuttle to another rental agency, wouldn’t help AT ALL. Rude, arrogant, smug... horrible customer service. Stay away from this place if at all possible. Will never use Europcar again.

Fantastic. Only had to wait a few minutes at the airport to be picked up by a white shuttle with a smaller europecar logo on the side after calling. Courteous driver and clean shuttle. Trailer office was clean and air conditioned. Woman behind the counter was nice. Ended up having to pay extra for insurance per day but thats my own fault. Car was in excellent condition. Return was easy and again the shuttle was ready to take us back to the airport.Will use again. Thank you!

Good customer service. when we arrived at San Juan airport, the shuttle was already there to pick us up from the airport. Agents were cordial. we had no problem picking up the car. their office closes at 8pm and we had a late drop in so they only charged us the parking fees at the airport. had a good experience overall

Have new cars for rent, but need better customer service. You wait to long in line when you already have everything set up online. Overall this is a good place but they can’t keep up with the amount of customers.

Sorry, I expect more about this rental car but is a no next experience with them for me! Why? The service, the car was dirty the seat and different parts of the car, they charge me extra tolls that I dont use.... and to not finish in other Rentals that are more popular never say nothing about extras for other security policies because I buy the one on Expedia and in this one is the only one that said me I have to buy another with them. At final, the rental cost you the double of the price they put... NEVER AGAIN AND I DONT RECOMMEND THEM. Sorry not sorrry first and last one time dealing with these people!. I prefer to still renting on Alamo or others.... because they more enpensive but give good guality and services.

The car was already in front of the building set up for me when I arrived. Service was excellent. Additionally there’s an option to return the car after hours as long as you’re willing to pay for airport parking.I was initially a bit annoyed at the lack of gps. However turns out that is a paid for option if you reserve with them online.My initial reservation was made with advantage, a former partner of theirs and on the advantage website there was no mention of the possibility of paying for a GPS. But that’s not Europeans fault and the low price for the car makes it worth it anyway as long as you have a maps enabled phone.

We reserved a 7-person van, and when we arrived, there was no van for us. The previous people had not returned it on time. Luckily, we were able to get the van the following day, and for our trouble, we were charged half the price of what we would have paid. It was already a bargain, and a half-price van was even better! We appreciated their willingness to accommodate us for the trouble. Customer service was friendly, van was reliable, and I would rent from them again.

From pick up to drop off I had a great experience. I got to San Juan Airport and called them to be picked up and a short wait later the shuttle van arrived to pick us up. The driver was very nice and helpful. When we arrived at the rental place our car was already waiting for us. The van driver loaded all of our luggage into the car while we went inside to sign the contract agreement. Everything went smoothly and we had our rental for a week. The return process was super easy and I wasn’t charged with any hidden fees. The car we got was nice, new, and clean. I was pleased with the car I received.

This rental company is not at the airport as stated on Expedia, where we made our reservation. Once we arrived via shuttle, we were informed that there would be an additional mandatory $25 per day charge above the quoted, confirmed price. Although our reservation stated our departure time was 1:00am, we were informed they are closed then and we would have to drop the car off at airport parking. The registration on the car expired during our rental period and we recieved a call during our trip wanting us to return the car and exchange for a new one. This would have taken 4 hours out of our vacation to do this. The cars fuel tank was not full when we picked it up.

I was charged for damage repair even maybe they won’t repair. Because the point looks like the scratches is not acknowledgeble one.

I will rent again and again and again in this place. In and out in less than 20 minutes. No hidden fees . What you rent is what you get. Excellent customer service all around. Took no time to pick me up at the airport and drop me back . There is a lots and lots of bad experience in other rentals but this one exceded my expectations.

Very reasonably priced. Staff was Great, very kind. They speak english as well as spanish. Had a printed reservation. I was in and out with no problems. Make sure you get the Wheel and tire protection for an extra $4 per day as there are potholes throughout the island.

Worst car rental experience. I wish I could just give it a zero star.I had booked my reservation, the ferry which I was suppose to take was cancelled so I was late in picking up my car, when I was on my way I called and was told that my reservation was cancelled because we didn’t pick up the car within 2 hours of scheduled time. In all my experience in the past I have never had problems whenever there was a flight delay or something like this.I called on my way to this rental and they said they don’t have any car.I called Expedia and they tried to help but couldn’t as there were none available.So I ended up without a car for a trip that I booked well in advance.I usually don’t write bad reviews but this left me and my family stranded in an unknown place.When I called Expedia, they said that the reservation didn’t show as cancelled in their system.Bad bad experience

Pros: The guys treated me really nice, they also gave me a free upgrade and the price was great!Cons: Not at the airport and not 24/7 so book a flight back at a time they are open or you will not be able to return your rental.That 1 star missing is because it opens at 7:30am, for the convenience of the customers, they should really consider having the shuttle van open at 5am, which would cover approximately a 90% of the early departures, if not it wouldve been 5 stars.

I had a good experience with Europcar. No hidden fees, and the policies are very well explained in the contract papers. We got a Toyota Corolla in excellent condition. I highly recommend to take pictures and/or video of your rental, not because of them, but because I do with everything I rent.

Totally recommend!! Ive rented from them my last two times visiting Puerto Rico and the service, quality of the cars, and price are unbeatable. Maybe i got lucky, but both times Ive rented from them, the cars have had under 3k miles and are in great shape.

Worst company ever. Stay away no customer service whatsoever, no phones answered and when arrived @ 9 pm on a Wednesday business was closed leaving me stranded with my two kids. We went to the renta place the next day and speak with the manager, manager had no customer service whatsoever, not even an apology. Don’t waste your time booking any car here they will deff leave you stranded. We ended booking with another reliable well known company and problem solved. Pay a little more and avoid this headache.

After comparing multiple rental companies I was lucky to find this one. Had one of the best prices for a Pickup Trucks, which was what I was looking for. Great selections and fast service, from Shuttle ride to and from airport, to check in and check out, no long lines at all.

They need to improve their phone answering service asap. Spent more than an HR at the airport trying to call call call. When we finally got there you couldnt even hear the phone ringing. Guess they dont like answering phones at this location.

I read a lot of bad reviews and that made me hesitant about getting a car here, but I had a decent experience. The shuttle took a normal 20min wait which didn’t bother me. Once I got There all the paper work was done quick and I had No issues with them or the car. I will Definitely go back to europcar.

Got picked up at the airport with very little wait ( they have a shuttle every 30 to 45 minutes ). The car was clean and new. After dropoff we were promptly brought back to the airport. Also much cheaper than most other rental companies.

Probably about on par with every rental car agency in the area, but be prepared to have added costs and make sure everything is put on one card. The deposit and the toll ez-pass weren’t mentioned when we booked and staff didn’t handle it well, but when we returned the car, we were able to work things out and they were able to help us. They do offer a shuttle to and from the San Juan airport and will help load and unload your bags. The driver also helped us get out great-grandmother in and out of the shuttle van, which was really nice. Be sure to tip him!

We had a good experience with this company. They are not directly at the airport, but just outside and have a shuttle that runs in demand. They were at the airport waiting for us based on our reservation time. Id rent from them again. Friendly and professional staff.

WARNING!!! Be careful!!! Take photos and video of your vehicle before leaving the lot. They tried to rip me off... and my video saved my ass. They are looking to screw you over... head the warning.

Trash avoid at all cost

Waited almost an hour to rent the car in a little trailer. There was only one person doing the rental signing and it took forever. Only 4 people ahead of us should not have taken that long. Also had to take a shuttle from airport and waited awhile for that. Tried to call them and no one ever answered the phone. Then they charge $5/day to have a second driver even though we are married. Every other company we have rented from does not charge for a second driver if you’re married. While experience ridiculous.

Had some issues with my rental truck. Brought it in and they replaced it right away. Friendly and good customer service all around

I wasnt told of a 10 toll activation fee and I was almost over charged by 60 bucks, if I had not reviewed line by line all charges. It just seemed like the person who helped was upset that I questioned the charges until she realized she was wrong. Overall, the vehicle was great and the initial walking service was great.

The worst experience ever, my wife book a car a 1 1/2 or 2 months ago, they call less then 24 hrs for our pick-up time to look with another rental company, the car is not available. The best customer services ever #sarcasm. I love my Island, some customer services STINK!!!

The day we arrived they were not prepared for the customer volume. This was corrected and once we got our car discovered the port for our Garmin didnt work and they easily switched the car. Our fault for not verifying payment method and were unable to use our American Express. The shuttle to and from Luis Munoz Marin Intl airport is close by. Just a heads up on rush hour traffic if you have to return your rental between 5-7 pm.

Waiting 2 hours on line to get a car rental and they didnt have the car I requested. Had to wait 45 mins to pick us up at the airport by shuttle. They need more help and assistance. Over all waiting time terrible.

Bad just bad rented a car for 4 days on Thanksgiving morning. On the day of my return I was asked was I returning the car I said yes at six my flight is at 9. I was told I would be charged 2 extra days...no drop box had to leave the car at airport then they couldnt find the car thank God we took a pic and time of drop off. Come to find out I was on the rental block as of midnight Thanksgiving morning when I was not even in P.R or filled out any forms for my rental. So be careful.. oh yeah they close at 6pm. What rental closes at 6 at any major airport..oh waited 45 minutes to get picked up while all other companies were passing us by multiple times.

I had a good experience with this car company. It was very quick and easy once you reserve the car online. This was the most affordable car rental in the area. How ever they do make sure you have your car insurance if you dont then they will offer you their temporary one for additional charge. I dont own my own car so I didnt have one But! My credit card covers collision if you rent it under certain credit cards. I suggest calling your credit card company to see if yours offers that option. Car was clean and worked perfectly, no issues great on Gas Toyota Corolla.

So my story was a deception from this place. I reserved an SUV in September for my January trip. Because I have a family of five, anything less than an SUV won’t work. Well, once I got there there was no SUV and all they could offer me was a Toyota Yaris. It fits like 4 passengers with little luggage. I waited a couple more days and had to get another car in another location.

Insanely horrible service.DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.We had scheduled a 11am pick up and they showed up at 12:20pmThe drive was an entire 2 minutes from the airport. We had tried calling the listed number for the hour and 20 minutes with no answer.Once we arrived a Blond woman was extreamly rude to me. I tries explaining that I was covered by my major credit cards for insurance. She insisted j was not and that I had to purchase insurance through them which if course made the car more expensive than any of the other companies I would have rented from more conveniently. She angrily told me she would not help me anymore and that the gentalman next to me would help me when he was finished.I will definitely not rent from this company and I fo not suggest anyone else does either. Its the Spirit Airlines of Car rental companies. .they pretend to be cheaper, then force you into paying for more.
