Jennifer was THE BEST!!! Apparently there are several Dollar Rental but this is the one inside Verdanza Hotel. I called every place in the general San Juan area for. a rental and EVERYONE was booked for a month out. When I spoke to Jennifer, she also said they were booked but told me she had a feeling they would get a car in the next day and to give her a call back... I did and I got exactly the car I wanted. Price was great, she was so sweet, accommodating, professional. The car was clean, full tank of gas, seamless transaction. I didnt have time to get gas before returning it but it was no issue as they just charge the card on file for the local gas price. Excellent experience and will be back to rent when I am back in PR

Jennifer and Nelson were a dream to work with. We wanted a car for just a couple days to see El Yunque and Fajardo, and booked ahead of time. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were given a car right away and headed off to the beach an hour away. Unfortunately, on the way to the beach the cars transmission stopped worked well and the car started shaking and struggling to accelerate when going up hills. I gave Jennifer a call from the beach, and she instantly sent Nelson out to the beach we were at with a new car. Really incredible customer service. We were super thankful to have a working car and not get stranded on the way back to our Airbnb!

Tania Arboleda was extremly rude to me and would not rent me a car. She got upset with me because I arrived at her location and she was not there. I was told she went to the bank but after 30 mins I saw the managers Jennifer Milas number so i called it. When she finally arrived 20 mins later she said to me Who do I think i am calling her manager She told me she would not rent me a car and I was forced to shuttle to another location. I have rented from Dollar for decades, but after this experience I will never again.

Got charged extra after I told them I would return early from the get go nothing but issues and trying to upcharge. Was laughed at when I tried to fight charges. Very unprofessional and do not recommend.

I never thought I would write a review for Rent-A-Car place let alone a franchise but I was floored by the exceptional service, friendliness and story of this family run operation. We rented for only one day, mostly to go to El Yunque. They registered us quickly, the class of car we wanted was available and brand new. They included the price of insurance and tolls as a convenience, so if you dont want it, just let them know. The previous rating almost had us miss out on this place so I hope to offset it, dont make that mistake.

Jennifer was very helpful and explained everything I needed to know.I unfortunately damaged the car but they knew how to deal with the problems like that. Very professional.I had to paid the damage for the car cause I chose not to have insurance they offered. The repair cost was reasonable also.I will use this company again!

Great experience with renting a vehicle. Treated like a king. I plan on renting with this Dollar location next time I am in San Juan. Would recommend to anyone.

Terrible !! Never seen such a poor customer service and dishonesty on prices.Surprise begins at desk when, after booking the car for 85$ on the internet, final price turns out to be more than 250$ !!! I cannot believe Puerto Rico taxes are responsible for such an increase. Having no other choice, I had to take the car but not showing final price on the internet on purpose is for me dishonesty and close to racket.Second, there is supposed to be a service that drives you back to the airport after returning the car. Service is available until 5, I come at 4.30, wait for 20 min, to hear the guy say its too late in the rudest manner Ive ever heard, as if I was annoying him to ask for a service they are supposed to offer.I definitely not recommended dollar rent a car and not this place in particular (i already experienced their service in a NYC agency and service was not good as well)
