Our group had a good experience with budget. Car we rented was I believe 2019 red Kia Sorento. Wait time for cat was about 15 min. Car came in a good condition. We have spotted couple marks on the sides standard for rentals. However out of precauction I would advise to grab photos before you leave. Deposit was $200 which was returned to us a day after we returned the car. Masks were worn by everyone at the time of rental.
Roach-Like bugs in rental car!!!My daughter, her friends and I took a trip to Puerto Rico at the end of August. She rented a car from the Budget in the San Jun Airport. First, she had to wait almost 2 hours to pick up the rental car. No much of an issue as it was busy that day. However, the issue came when we got the rental car. First, it had multiple dents all over the suv, the back passenger door had writing all over it, the seats has tons of stains on it. It was kind of a mess but we weren’t making much of a fuss about it because it was big enough to fit 7 people. The issue came when we notice they were bugs in the car. First it was one and we assumed it was something that may have came in from the window but over time, as we would get in and out of the car and it was left dark, we would come back and see another. Eventually by the 2nd day, we had seen far too many for our liking. My daughter called the budget counter and could never get any one of the phone including when attempting to call the budget customer service number. I eventually called a different department to see if I could get someone on the phone about the issue. The representative Frank I spoke to did not seem concerned at all about the fact the rental given to us had bugs. He offered us a $100 credit although we had spent a $1,000 on the car. We were not satisfied in regards to the matter. Still we attempted to reach anyone who could be of further assistance and still had no luck. We spent the half of the trip taking rideshare because no one was comfortable riding in that car. When my daughter and I returned the car to the airport, we told two budget workers and they did not seem surprised or concerns. Therefore, I have no plans of renting through budget again neither is my daughter who is a consistent customer.
Ugh never renting from this place. Had to wait over an hour to get my car. Then they didnt have the size I ordered. The only good thing is how fast is the process to return thats it.
Was hesitant with other reviews but had a great experience. No line when we arrived and drop off was quick and easy. Car was clean and met our needs.
We arrived to pick up the vehicle and had to wait over 2 hours because there were only two employees and they were moving at the speed of a snail going uphill on a slippery surface. I would have left and gone with another company but I had already prepaid for the vehicle. Once we got the vehicle and we drove off........ that poor minivan needed to be put out of its misery all the struts were gone and needed an alignment badly. Unfortunately, there were no more minivans available so I was stuck with the one from the 80s, after a couple of days of driving every time we got out of the vehicle we were all itchy, come to find out the van had fleas, how did I know this? One jumped on my arm while I was parked! On one of the days that rained, the vehicle hydroplaned, upon further inspection of the tires they were worn out on the inside ( and I have pictures). Once we returned the vehicle I informed the gentleman checking us in about all the issues and his response to all of this was Yeah we know, were getting new vans this summer were just milking these as much as we can. I will never rent from Budget again, putting my familys life at risk because youre trying to milk a vehicle just to make a couple of extra bucks is not a good practice, I have been in the tourism industry for over 25 years and even worked at a mom-and-pop car rental with fewer resources than a multinational company like yours and if any vehicle had presented any of these issues it would not leave the lot until the issues were addressed, period. In this type of business, you dont put profits over peoples safety, it doesnt end well. This was my first time renting with Budget and I can promise you it will be the last time! I always rent with Enterprise or a local company and have never had any issues like these! I should have paid the $50 price difference and gotten a properly maintained vehicle that wouldnt have limited our vacation.
God forbid you get a car rental here. We got off the plane 1145, got into the car rental spot at 12pm, & finally got the car at 3pm after getting through the line. At first it seemed like the line would move quick & it would only be a ~20min wait, but then everyone saw there was only 1 employee taking people the whole time. By the time we made it to the front of the line, there were people in line all the way to the outside parking lot. Ridiculous. Never again going here.
Zero stars. I hate leaving bad reviews but sometimes the service warrants it. I am currently in line waiting to pick up a reservation that was scheduled for 1 pm (it’s now 5 pm). I have been in line for over 2 hours and Im guessing I still have another 2 hour wait. There is no one even working at the Budget counter, and there is one person working at Avis who is supposed to be covering for Budget. I have called Budget customer service and they said the lack of staffing is not their fault and to call Priceline since that’s who I rented through. I spent over an hour on the phone with Priceline and they told me there was nothing they would do because it’s an issue with Budget, not Priceline. The lack of customer service from both companies is unacceptable I can safely say I will never rent with Budget or go through Priceline again. I have included a pic of the line for reference.
Very poor service, or I should say very short staff, I had the reservation at 10am on 8/11, only one employee at the counter, took me 90 minutes to finally get the car. Employee was nice, and I have to mention that there were 6 customers behind me. I really hope, he got help.
Now days all reservations are made online, why the hell did management only had 1 employee at the reception. It took a little over 4 hrs just to get to the car. Enterprise and National are the best, dont waste your time and money with any other rental place.

I would give it a zero star if it was possible for horrible horrible service. Had a van reservation for 15 passengers to pick up at 2am. Show up to the airport and they say they do not carry this type of van. I called 2 times before during the week to confirm my reservation and make sure everything was in order. Luckily for us Alamo had a van available or else our party of 13 would be SOL! DO NOT RENT FEOM HERE WORST POSSIBLE WAY TO START OUR VACATION

The wait to the counter was insane. There was only one attendant the entire time so it took forever. Once I got the rental, the car smelt like cleaning products from an outhouse. We all were really overwhelmed from the smell but hoped it would go away. It didn’t.Comes to find out, we tracked the smell to the trunk of the car. There was a legit urinal cake being used as an air freshener. So glad we found it and threw it out! Made us all sick!Who used a urinal cake for an air freshener!? 🤢Besides that, the car was fine. Price reasonable. Return to the airport was easy too.
The wait was 25 min with a reservation... only 1 person working with sell out of cars..... the customer service agent was awesome when we finally got to his window..... only rental place in the rental facility with 1 agent and lines out the door..... when I returned the car same Long lines and same single agent.... God Bless that man with his patience... go somewhere else..... Ive been using Budget to 30 years... worse experience.... looking elsewhere...
Management needs to treat the employees better. Employees were on strike when picking up car and wait was 2+ hrs. Every other rental car company beside Avis/Budget had no line.

Horrible set up at budget rental even if you have a car reserved.Plan to spend half of your day getting a car.. There is ONE attendant working the desk and he had to walk out to the garage with people. Waited in line for 1.5+ hours waiting in line and there were only 5 parties in front of us. After we got through reservations we waited in the garage for another 45 min to get the car.....behind us there were 30 parties waiting in line, I am sure they will spend half of their day waiting. wear off bug spray or long pants and shirt when waiting in line. There are small flea like bugs biting us
I’ve been waiting in line at this place for over 2 hours (literally) and it seems like I still have another 2 hours to go. Only 1 counter is working out of 10!!According to the security guy here its always like this on weekends. Our day has been completely wasted and our plans ruined. Worst way to start a vacation.
First and foremost the worse car rental place Ive experienced. I had to wait over an hour to receive my rental along with more people on line just waiting. I rented a 7 passenger Suv. I was told it was being washed and disinfected. Only to find that they only washed the exterior. The interior was filthy with garbage in the vehicle left by previous renter and a fowl odor inside vehicle. The front tires were so worn out, luckily I didnt get a flat. The tire pressure was low on all tires, I had to put air in them at the gas station. Also you tell the vehicle doesnt get proper maintenance because you can hear sqeaks when driving . They emailed me to see how my experience was and I told them it was awful, unexceptable, along with all the issues the vehicle had and they replied back saying to accept their sincere apology and they hope I can re trust them in the future. Folks do yourself a favor and dont bother with this company.
We reserved a vehicle and when we showed up to pick it up we had to form a line and wait over 3.5 hours since they only had 1 attendant and 6 registers closed. Where’s the manager? Where’s corporate looking into this poor customer service? Tried to call 1-800 number and it said wait time 30 minutes. Ridiculous.
We arrived at the counter at Luiz Munoz airport to pick up our car along with three other group. there was no one at the counter (they are supposed to be a]open 24 hours) we all went to the garage area and a gentleman (Mr. Rodriguez) told us that there are no cars and that no one is available or tending the counter. He also mentioned that Budget for the last few months has overbooked cars and that having no cars is common. He stated to take a Taxi/Uber and Budget will reimburse the cost. He did take our telephone numbers and we have no call to date...We have rented from Budget many times before from different venues and this is the 1st time we encountered this issue...He mentioned to call back at 6am in the morning when someone arrives so we called a total of ten times and no one answered. We contacted Budget and spoke to a customer service that provided the case number and he too checked to see if cars were available- NOTHING-trying so many times without answers just leads us to ask for our full refund and the cost for the Uber of $70.00... have now rented a car from a different company at a much higher rate of which I believe you should be responsible. After two days they call me and insisted that I pick up the car at my cost (45 Minutes away) - we call Budget headquarters and after the 4th person 1 hour and 20 minutes they agree to refund us the total payment - at our age thank God we prefer convenience over cost and wasting time on the phone on our vacation is not what anyone wants.
Horrible service!! Only one person on the counter. Waited hours before gettinf to us. A ridiculous long line. A second person came to help and not even 10 minutes later he stopped calling people tonhis window and left on break. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! And will never reserve with them again!
Waited three hours in line they only had one worker for about two hours. I booked a 15 passenger van 2 months prior. They told me its the websites mistake and that they never had a 15 passenger van so they hustled me into renting two vehicles. Also one of the vehicles was disgusting they forgot to clean it. The bad customer service for this location looks like its never going to change we called Budget and did nothing about it. (PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION WORSE CAR RETAL EXPIRENCE EVER)
The line is incredible. Be prepared to loose hours of your life standing. They only staff one to two people to sign out cars.
Its a shame that Google does not allow me to rate this vendor using ZERO stars because that is what they deserve.I waited on line for for an 1 1/2 (1/2 the time it took me to fly to PR) and was finally helped by Avis/budget customer rep named Mildred who was very unprofessional playing her music on her phone while she speaking to me and she yelling and her coworker what they should have for lunch.My rental was for 1 day and the total cost of the rental was $125.00 but Mildred charged me an additional One Way fee of $250.00 because i was not returning the card at a different Budget location.The total cost of the of my 1 day rental $470.36 FOR 1 day!!!!$470.36 FOR 1 DAY?1?!$470.36 FOR A FILTHY SMELLY CAR.HIGHWAY ROBBERY.
This location doesn’t answer the phone. English or Spanish there’s no one to help. Should hire people who care about customer service, otherwise they are just getting paid without doing the work they were hired to do.
Can’t believe that only one attendant was in the counter on a busy day like a Sunday. Waiting time was more than one hour. Be prepared to wait on the return day as well, they have zero personnel to receive your return. You’ll have to make the long line again just to drop the keys and get the receipt. The management definitely doesn’t know anything about planning, they prefer to keep only one person at the counter doing everything, other than paying another employee to control and the line short. If you’re with a hurry, honestly rent your car in another place, definitely not at Budget.
The worst rental car experience EVER.Ive rented from pretty much every major rental car agency (frequent traveler for both work and vacation) and even some smaller ones. This was the first time renting from Budget and itll be our last.We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and it was the only rental agency with a huge line. I had signed up for their Fastbreak program to avoid the line, but that was of no use since they didnt have anyone manning the Fastbreak booth. We waited over two hours for our car.They originally had three people working the line. Then, even though the line was ridiculously long, one of them left on break without a replacement and then the other person disappeared leaving only one person manning the counter and taking an extremely long time to help each person.I had mentioned to the clerk that I needed to extend the rental an extra day and I thought that they had (more on that later). Bad on me for not double checking, but I was tired from the flight and the long wait and wanted to get out of there.They didnt have the original car that we rented (a minivan) so they gave me a Dodge Durango. As soon as we got in, we could tell it wasnt properly cleaned. It had a damp funky smell.After a few days, we realize that the cars rear drivers side tire has a slow leak and we call the rental company to see if we can get a hold of someone to exchange the vehicle, the rental was for three and a half weeks. No one answers the phone. We say screw it and take care of refilling the tire ourselves.When dealing with the tire issue and looking at the rental agreement I realized that they hadnt added the extra day to my rental agreement and I was told by the main Budget customer service line that I needed to call the local rental company directly to add a day. I called every day, numerous times a day and at different times a day for an entire week and the phone rings and rings (over 45 minutes at one of the calls) and no one answers. I left a message for their manager, and no one has returned my call for both Budget and Avis.I also found personal documents in the glove box that were left behind by the prior renter -- goes to show you how *thoroughly* they clean their vehicles. Some of the docs were important so I reached out to the person directly and mailed them. They even asked me about the slow tire leak and whether it had been fixed. Obviously Budget knew but didnt care. I didnt trust Budget to get those documents over to the owner.I still have the car. Its not due back until Friday and Ill continue to call -- though I doubt theyll answer -- to extend the rental. I cant return it until Saturday so theyll probably whollop me with the late fee in addition to the extra day since I couldnt get a hold of them to extend the rental.Avoid them at all costs. Unbelievably bad customer service.

Waited patiently for 10 minutes, with 1 available desk assistant to set you up with a car. Besides the long wait, their shifts changed in the middle of a line and we needed to wait even longer for new shift to start and help another 9 people in the line. Ridiculously slow service and nonexistent time management for such a busy day. Truly disappointing.Update: despite the long wait and the lack of staff available, I wanted to point out Mr. Luis Rodriguez who handled the packed line of angry and frustrated customers in a very professional manner . He tried his best to please every customer thus earning this place the total of two stars instead of none.
When I got there to pick up my reserved vehicle(which I reserve a month in advance) they tell me that they didnt have any vehicles available. Then I had to wait for someone to return a car. They gave me an economy car with a terrible cigarette sent for the price of an SUV rental. They explain to me that they could change it the next day. The next day they said they were not going to be able to change it because there were no vehicles available on the entire Island. I had to use this economy car with a strong smell of cigarettes, I dont smoke it was a terrible experience. When I returned the car they didnt want to adjust the rate I had to get a manager involved. Truly upset about this experience thats why I took the time to wright this review. OMG and I havent received the final bill for tolls lets see what they come up with. I hope they see this and make the proper adjustments so others dont go threw what I went threw.
Took almost 6 hours to get rental car that I had a reservation for. Picked up on my bday & had to cancel bday dinner plans because it took so long. No fans in waiting area so its very hot while waiting & there are no vending machines with water. They have a small hand written sign at the counter that said no cars available only reservations Ppl w/out reservation waited in line for 4 hours before they got to the front & saw that sign. That sign should be at the front of the line!
Same as other reviews. No one at the counter for 20 mins and there is a huge line running into parking lot. I wish i have seen the reviews before booking. Hope i get my chance in next 1 hour :(
This car rental was absolutely the worst experience we have ever had. We waited for over 4 hours to get our car last Saturday. 1 1.2 hours in the sun and the rest of the time indoors. There was two people working the counter and probably over 100 people in line. All of them had reservations. We have learned that this is a regular occurrence, not a one time thing. Do not rent from this place it ruins your vacation.

Simply one of the worst car rental places....there was a line we had to wait in to get the car for nearly 2 hours to check the car out, after which had to wait for nearly another hour to actually get the car all the while the reciept will indicate your orignal pick up time while now youve wasted 2 hours of your drive time just waiting. You try call the folks at the desk, or the customer service line, or the national helpline, none of them even try to help you out. Really marred an experience of an otherwise great trip. I implore you, I dont write reviews often and negative ones even rarely so but Im beyond disgusted and please save yourself the heartache
Waiting 2 hours for a car. 1 employee only at the counter. Once they gave us the keys, we have to wait almost another hour inside of the parking garage to wait for someone to bring us the car. Zero communication from this company. Awful, Awful, Awful experience!! If they had so many reservations in place, why they didnt plan ahead and bring more personnel?? Absolutely ridiculous! I was expecting a great experience. Horrible!
Return the car was not a problem, the isssue was renting the vehicle, i asked for a 7 pass. Vehicle and they gave me a 5 pass. Vehicle, not a discount no nothing. This is what we have take it or leave it. Budget luis m. Marin airport dont use it
This place was terrible. We had a government reserved vehicle via the Coast Guard which was to be ready by 12PM. We kept getting told, We dont have anything, you have to wait. We waited 2 hours for a vehicle and the manager refused to come out or give us a different vehicle. Do NOT use this place, they are a joke.

Worst rental car experience ever. Had a reservation for a 7 passenger SUV. Waited in the checkout line for almost an hour, then they tried to give me a 5 passenger SUV. After all that I had to wait another hour and a half for the vehicle. The car was disgusting inside didnt even look like the inside had been touched. I even found empty water bottles in the vehicle. I had to wipe it down myself. With the exception of the gentleman at the front desk everyone was super rude. Will never rent at the airport again.

This review is mostly about Wanda than Budget itself.The company is great, our car was great, and after a negative experience with another employee, Wanda stepped in and made us whole. She is a great employee and represents Budget very well. She deserves a promotion. Budget is lucky to have her.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Never renting from avis budget again. I rented a car that ended up having an issue with a tire and they seriously blamed it on me and would not do anything to fix it. I had to get a new tire myself just to feel safe driving. Beware.

Prepared to be denied a rental just because! Thats exactly what happened to me on February 13 around 1:30 am. Leaving me stranded with 4 kids one of them autistic and my 68 year old mother. Made a complaint over the phone, spoke to the manager in person and still 1 month later no answer on why I was denied the rental. Discrimination! Thats exactly what happened.And PLEASE PLEASE record your conversation because they would lie on you.
We had a rental car reserved weeks in advance so we could travel from Ponce, PR to San Juan, PR to get to the airport and travel back home. On the day of our reservation, I called to ask if we could pick the car up sooner than 4pm, and instead the guy tells me that they overbooked too many rental cars and now they had to cancel our reservation since there were no more cars available. I asked if there was anything they could do since this was their error and this was our way to get to the airport since taxis and ubers were scarce down here. He acted like he could give a care and told me that it was our problem to figure out. Definitely a terrible experience and horrible company to work with and depend on.
We reserved a car 2 weeks in advance. We waited over an hour in line to get our car. The line was ridiculous and almost out the door. There were only 2 agents working. When we finally got to the counter the female agent customer service was awesome. Sure said some of the staff contacted Covid, hince being shorthanded. Even if they had 2 more agents the wait wouldve still been at least 30 plus minutes.
We are very disappointed with this company.Our trip was changed for a different time and we needed to keep the car for a few more hours. We tried calling them to let them know (good 6 or 7 times) and could not get through. The last time my husband tried to call, they finally picked up to say that there was nothing they could do and to go by the actual place where we rented the car (2 hours away from where we were staying😣). They also said that it wasnt a big deal and that they would charge around $10.00 for the difference in hours. They ended up charging us a $25 late fee and about a $100 for the difference. Will not rent again from this place. Which it is a shame because we are always traveling and renting cars. We also picked Budget as we thought it was a serious company.
If I could give it a zero I would. The check in was terrible. I waited in line for 3 hours with a ton of other travelers on a Sunday around 4. There were two workers to wait on hundreds of guests. I can’t even imagine why they didn’t plan for all the customers when we had reservations for the cars. I will have a hard time renting from them again.
San Juan car rental is very short staffed for all companies. Budget, Avis etc. So if you must get on line for a car plan on being on line for at least 40 minutes.
Customer service is good their is room for improvement. They need to be more relaxed with there rentals and available vehicles on hand models are basic

We got to the airport at 10pm and when we got to the counter, they had a hand written note in the glass that said “No more cars!” We reserved a Hotel on the other side of the Island “Rincón”! It would have cost us 400 dollars to get there!I can’t believe the audacity of these people! I’m calling customer service tomorrow! To be continued...
I originally wanted a compact hatch, but I added a star because they gave me a full sedan instead.The rear-right blinker was broken right from the get-go, and the car smelled terrible. Opened the trunk to store some luggage, and was hit in the face with the scent of fresh vomit--although the upholstery looked new.Beware the cost as well. Even with the cheapest rental option available, the total for three days came to over $440 after insurance and gas charges.
As a Travel Agent I am extremely disappointed in the way you conducted business with my client. First off, the aggravatingly long wait time to be seen is ridiculous, hire another staff member! After booking a 7 passenger vehicle for their family of 6, you expressed that you didnt have this vehicle at the time of their scheduled pickup and gave them a 5 seater SUV. This is absolutely unacceptable, of all things to go wrong and make our jobs harder during COVID this is not one that should be happening with a contractual agreement in place. I will no longer be booking Budget for future clients.
PlEASE if you see this do not rent with this people they rented me a car at 3 AM in the morning and I was in a rush to get to my moms house because I was really tired and didn’t inspect the car so at 8 AM in the morning I noticed there was a bump in one of the front tires and call them for like three hours and they never answered so I had to call the 800 number and they told me to go and exchange it that there was no problem because it was 24 hours before and when I got there to the location the supervisor told me that I had to take care of it on my own expenses if not I couldn’t grab another car and they charge extra fee to rent which they don’t even tell you before you rent it until you get there these people have terrible service
Flew in to the airport WITH a reservation and were told they ran out of cars and to get a taxi. We were staying 2 hours away... Uber charges would have been $400 one way! Gave us number to call someone and figure out a car the next day who never answered. Charged one night for missing our hotel reservation with Expedia AND had to book another hotel nearby in San Juan so we had somewhere to sleep. When we called they said sorry, and they didn’t know what to tell us. TERRIBLE experience, will NEVER use them again.
We arrived in SJU and Budget did not have a van for us. They were extremely rude and told us the only thing they would do is give us a car and pay for a taxi for the 6th person, then we’d need to do the same thing the next day, to drive the hour back to the airport to see if they had a minivan.We ended up just squeezing all of us in a car for the day. Then the next morning I tried to call Budget and got an an even more rude man who told me he could not check to see if there was even a van for us, and that we’d have to drive the hour to the airport to pick it up, and if they didn’t have one, too bad, and that even if we had to do that several times, he couldnt help us, and when I mentioned it would take the entire first day of our trip, all he said was “well, road trip”. And then he kept talking over me and asking if I’d like the phone number for the location that would redirect me back to him.So with no other options, my husband did just that. When he got there, they said they did have a vehicle for him. It was an SUV, not a minivan, which was ok. They said they had to clean it. 1 1/2 hours later, they came back with the vehicle, clean on the outside, but still dirty on the inside. So we just took it as it was.We were SO unhappy with the way they treated the situation. We asked about a refund for the first day, since they didn’t have the car and they wouldn’t do anything.I NEVER want to deal with this company again. The desk and the call center especially were SO rude. It was shocking how rude that guy was!
Why does it take 25 minutes per person to get a rental that was already booked now waiting 2 hrs in line. 2 people at desk
Waited in line for 3 HOURS to pick up a car I had already reserved. Only 1 person was working the counter.
4+ hours or waiting for a car that was sprayed down and given to us. Took us longer to get a car than it did to fly down. It was so ridiculous that it was funny.

Worse company has a reservation for 6am they didn’t have any cars til 8am,we complained to the desk they said they had no fault but I’m like this never should happened,that is why you make reservations and reserve it no manager on site,outside at pickup no one at the window either many ppl has the same problem and no one will take responsibility I called the customer service, I had little kids with me they were hot and hungry
Avoid this place. I been in line since 2pm it’s now 4pm exactly... don’t chose budget or Avis. Go with enterprise, hertz, Alamo or anything else!!
Strongly suggest to not use Budget. Ive rented many cars throughout the years with multiple companies and I can say that Budget has been the worst experience by far. When I arrived at the airport counter, there was no one there. We had to go outside to find the clerk. The car that was provided to us was very dirty. There was a stain on the seat and accumulated dirt on the cup holder and shift stick. Because of complications with COVID testing, I needed to extend the rental by one day. I had to call multiple numbers. No one was able to help me out. One person on the phone even said that my best option was to drive back to the rental place, return the car, and then get another one for one more day.

Even with reservation we are here waiting since 12.45 . It’s 2.48am they said oh sorry we don’t have any cars……..

Omg!!! We traveled on a Saturday afternoon, thinking we were going to have a head start on a early Saturday flight, we arrived at 12:30 pm. there were 2 associates behind the desk, so getting our paper work was over 30 minutes, by the time we received our car it was a little after 2:40 pm. No, thanks next time I definitely skip Budget and move along to the next car rental place. Definitely need a lot more personnel!! Ps.. read the FINE PRINT and ask questions about fees!!!

Saturday in may and there’s 1 guy at the budget counter, been out here for 30 minutes not even close to getting in because too many people inside. Cant imagine July like this....
Fast courteous service and return was simple process.
Very unprofessional, the line is super long .you wont get your money back if you pay online.only one worker putting a reservation for at least 50 people .THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER .!!!!!!
Worst experience ever, I made a long tern reservation, but I have to returned earlier and they didnt refund the rest of the money wich was $600. When I ask they said oh yes we make an adjustment will reflect in a few days. One week later, I call and they said I so sorry but the money cant be refunded because was a prepaid rental that you make. Thats a robbery.
Worst car rental experience.... waiting line was 2hrs, when everything was already paid. Only 2 attendants for both companies, avis and budget. Never renting again from this companies. Highly not recommended.
Waited over 6 hours upon arrival at the San Juan Airport to get the rental car I had reserved. One worker the entire time. RIDICULOUS!!!

Terrible experience ! They only had one person working. If you think renting a car is going to take you at most 30 minutes DO NOT RENT HERE. It took me an hour an half to get through the line!! Absolutely ridiculous and horrible customer service.

I have to say it is fairly easy and simple to rent from here!! The only thing i will advise is that of you want to modify your rental in any way, you have to go in person as for some reason I wasnt allowed to do it via web or phone... Other than that the price I got for a real was fair! Not to mention, I have the Hyundai accent... Basically 40 miles plus to the gallon CONSISTENTLY!! Do recommend!
