If you see my reviews you’ll see that I’ve reviewed a lot of nail salons. This place is the best I’ve attended in a really really long time. If you’re looking for a quick 45 min mani this is not the place for you. Be ready to luxuriate for a while as your nail tech meticulously gives you an incredible set of nails. Highly recommend Phoebe.
This is the only place in Boston Ill get my nails done anymore. Its definitely a little more expensive and takes a little longer, but Ive never had a more thorough job. The gel lasts so long with no chips and no lifting, generally for me at a faster/cheaper salon the gel will lift after a week. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a quality manicure.I also love that they have online booking on their website, its so easy. For nail art I think you generally have to make the appointment in person so they know what to schedule you out for time wise, but Ive always been satisfied with the quality of their nail art. They definitely practice quality over quantity, so this wont be the type of place that can do a manicure in 20 minutes on your lunch break. But a perfect treat after work or on the weekends on relax.
Clean, friendly, thorough. Best mani pedi I’ve ever had! Worth paying a bit more 100%
They were friendly, thats important to me, where I never had been there. Quick but thorough, truly following guidelines to keep customers safe from the Virus.
Love this place.❤❤I am a California refugee, things all shut down in CA again, couldnt get my nails done😭. I had a very bad day before we can make it back to east coast. We got robbed, Karen comment🙄, credit card got comprised you name it. But we finally made it here and I finally can get my nails done by someone else after several months of qurantine. Phoebe did my nails before I moved to California, I loved it. Now she is doing me again, they are able to squeezed me in at my last minute note, took the time and perfectly duplicate the picture from one of the top Japanese artists IG I showed her. I love my Christmas nails so much. She never disappoint me. Definitely will be back again.PS: My dog Hachi had a great time there. Japanese dog at a Japanese nail art salon😍And you know Californian is all about dog friendly and natrual products used places. IG:_Hachi_kun_
Let me go straight to the point....1. If you are running late or want something to be done in 30 minutes, this is not the place. They are very professional and they TAKE their time.2. I will say they are a little bit pricey. Their prices are more than what I was used too in the DMV.3. Their service is good I haven’t tried a lot of places but I’m satisfied with their work and I will be coming back. Another thing that I liked is the fact that they work well with my natural nail.
Took the fiance there this weekend for a manicure and pedicure. She said they were very good, and her nails look great! My only issue is their prices are on the higher side, but they are worth it!
This isnt your typical nail salon Tinailery is definitely on the pricey end of nail salons, however, they provide quality, professional services, amazing nail artwork and use well-made Japanese products. They take their work seriously; they take their time and pay close attention to detail. So, if youre looking for a quick, walk-in, nail salon, it probably isnt your place. Id personally come here more for nail designs/art or something more special
I love Tinailery. Normally I would not pay as much for a gel manicure but they do the best job I have found in Boston or New York City area. I have been coming here for about six months now and they are always kind, do a wonderful job, patient, and they really care about their work. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the location cant be beat. Plus they have wonderful free tea! I have also had nails chip once or twice, but one time when they chipped I was outside the window for a guarantee. They still touched up my nails free of charge! If you are in the area you must come here. One note - it is best to make an appointment. Since they focus on nail art it is tough to do walk ins. But other than that I cannot praise Tinailery enough. Thank you!!
I was in town visiting some girlfriends and after having a delightful coffee at Quincy Market, I looked online to find a local nail spa to pamper myself. I walked in and was seated immediately, and was brought a delicious cup of tea to enjoy.Phoebe worked on my nails, and the first thing I noticed was that they advertised on their website that they sterilize and sanitize everything. Which to me, is # 1 priority. I absolutely LOVED it. Phoebe did a fantastic job, she was very polite, professional, and phenomenal at her work.I had the Tidy Up and Gel. I needed my nails to look beautiful for our pictures. We closed on our first home, and needed my nails to look like a million bucks. Phoebe did just that. Got this service done on 4/30, and they are still going strong 2 weeks later. Makes me wish I lived in Boston to get this service done more often.Thank you Phoebe, from Texas! :)
I love this nail salon! Its a little pricey but definitely worth it in my opinion. They take great care making sure your nails are clean and tidy and put a good deal of effort into creating a flawless manicure. My gel manicure usually last 3-4 weeks and I always get compliments on them, especially when I get nail art.
One of the best I ever been to. Good and professional service, friendly staff, there are so many options I was overwhelmed. Yes you might need to wait a bit because it’s always so busy but it’s worth it.
I’ve had my nails done by Hazel, Phoebe, Cammie, and Sunny, and my manicures have been consistently incredible among all nail artists. A common critisism I hear about this salon is the slow service, but what patrons should recognize is the amount of care that goes into literally each and every nail. The quality is unmatched, and the nail artists (rightfully) take pride in their work. In my opinion, it is worth the price tag and the wait.
I found this place on Yelp and went because it was so well rated, and I am writing in now as a warning to those who may be thinking of doing the same thing. I would not recommend this salon. They never take new client for eyelash extension! People who replay text message is very inpatient. The people who pick up their phone refuse to take client when they have space for pedicure. They will pick the client as they like. Its so disappointing that I was treated so rudely from what is supposed to be an upscale nail salon. As far as their nail art that is promoted, I have experienced the nail technicians having difficulty to reinvent designs that I have seen on their Instagram and ultimately having to settle with design from other salon.
Fantastic job for lashes and nails! I did the lashes in here twice, and the glue they use is gentle(my skin is kinda sensitive). Cam did great jobs! Also the gel they use for manicure is the only gel that can last for more than 3weeks on me. I will definitely recommend this to my friends!
Ive been here twice, and I absolutely love this place. The nails techs do wonderful nail art, and theyre also very friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and they also give you complementary tea! Im definitely going to be a regular here.
I heard so much about this place and was waiting for a wow experience which didnt happen, unfortunately! Most girls who work there dont speak English at all...I mean, she couldnt even understand the simple things that I asked regarding the service!!! At least that they should be able to communicate about! And the service itself was not so good either. Ill just continue going to my regular place. Its cheaper and the quality of service you get is better!!
I went here for the first time this week and I loved this salon. My nails came out great and everyone was very nice. I had a chip in my gel polish after one day and they fixed it for me for free! They even gave me a extra layer gel for free (usually $15 extra) and that should make my polish last 20 days.
I was a return customer, I feel their quality of service is not good as my friends referred. Too expensive, not worth to try!!!Pro:It was very convenient to make an appointment via the website.Cos:1 Service:-Removal: some of my nails were grinnd down so much,My naturally nails are very thick, now it is very brittle. My manicure was also painful as she continued to dig under my fingernails without a care that she was hurting me until I finally had to let her know. Her name is Judie. I do not recommend her. Absolutely unacceptable.-Quality: The color applied far from the top of my nails, which left a very obvious stripe of base nail showing and is going to show more as time goes by. You would expect gel manicure to cover as much nail as possible since they last so long.-Skill: my cuticle/ nail beds being pushed and carved by some painful machine. They said it is a special way to do it, but it was not comfortable at all.2 Sanitation problem:The manicure chipped in 2 days, If I had time, I would have asked her to redo the whole manicure, because there were clear issues. I saw another technician taking out the used nail clippers from the drawer with out the sanitation bag to another customer.3 Employee:They did not get enough training before they taking customers. The technician preceded to roughly pull may jacket from behind me so she could hang it up, I barely had time to lift my body off my jacket.4 Product changeExtra layer is not Japanese product, it is fully English with description named IBD. Top layer also change the product to unknown cheap brand.5 PriceExtremely overpriced. Removal charge high price $10-30, Normal manicure charge $26 but cannot even make sure the nail color to be even. Gel manicure charge $46 but it chipped in 2 days. They charge $15 for each layer of this hard top coat”, but it also chipped with in a week.6 Time:I heard of other customer said she waited over 30 minutes and This salon charges extra money if youre late, so if theyre preaching that timing is important, respect customer time as well. They also takes almost an hour to finish a regular manicure, make sure you ask for the most senior technician to do your nail.+They do complain customer with the bad nails or less tips.+They do treat Chinese customer more patient and talk more.+The owner who responded is not telling the truth about product. It is not organic!+ As I was paying, the receptionist said we only can use cash or Venmo or you leave at least 18% tip using credit card which is RIDICULOUS on top of an already ridiculous amount for a manicure Im not 100% happy with!!!! ! Which leads me to my final point.
Unbelievably slow! Took 1.5 hours for a regular manicure (no fancy designs, just clean and regular polish). Who has that kind of time? The manicure itself was very average, cuticles not cleaned all the way, all dead skin was not removed. Absolutely not worth the $26 fee.Why 2 stars instead of 1? The girls were sweet, and they offered herbal tea.
So so so slow for straightforward service...this doesn’t work for an urban environment. Took over 2 hours for a mani / pedi!! I just wanted my nails done on my lunch break.
Arina was incredible, a perfectionist in the best way. Environment is positive and relaxing. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed the non-hurried service at Tinailery. The establishment was clean and organized and staff friendly and professional. The tea was a very nice perk, thanks for the extra cup!I got a basic clean up, fil and paint and was well worth the 16$.Will definitely be back and recommend.
My first dry manicure, and I couldnt be happier! Jodi was outstanding: great skill, quick, detailed, informative and most importantly, kind.
I like this nail salon so much. Always a good job👌
Meticulous and professional technicians. Cute and clean space!
The best nail salon to get great nail services and relax in an inviting atmosphere with a pop modern flair. Your service is not rushed here, so be prepared to spend some time because the nail techs want to ensure your final result is flawless. Theres a selection of artsy designs available and all of the products are premium Japanese brands. My gel mani and pedi lasted 4 weeks!
It is a pleasant place to go to,and has a good choice selection of India kinds of food order to go and the people are friendly too.🍜🤗👍
Didnt try the Japanese art here but had 2 pedis. Takes >20 min to dry (minilux takes 5 min for performance nails and 10 min for normal).
Best left unsaid !
Ok
It looks elegant
Durability is not good, speak impatiently in dialect next to it and think it is not understandable
