During the design process they listened carefully to what we wanted to achieve and gave us a variety of options to choose from. They provided excellent guidance and were honest regarding their time frame.The work began on time. The installer was courteous, professional and communicated well. When challenges with our design were presented Updike helped us work through options toward outstanding solutions. We had a full bath and a half bath completed remodeled. Their price was reasonable and work was high quality. Staff was very efficient in helping us pick wall and tile for the full bath. Our installer was a hard worker and did a beautiful job on the floor tile. We had a few items that needed follow-up, including replacement of a damaged door front. We are very pleased with the final product and quality of materials and workmanship.

We are very pleased with the remodel of our bathroom. The choices available were many when choosing wall and floor tile as well as vanity and mirror etc. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us when making color choices, care of new materials etc. It was really helpful to see different finishes and materials in the showroom. The gentleman who did the work was meticulous and the attention to detail was incredible. Our bathroom is now the nicest room in our house! We love it!

Our house was trashed with dust and fiberglass dust day one of teardown. Had to have carpets cleaned and our HVAC duct system cleaned. Our house got so dusty it tripped the fire alarm and the fire department showed up. Had they done a better job of keeping the dust under control especially when I wasnt there they would have got a higher rating. Took two months start to finish to do a 5x7 bathroom and they said it would take 2 weeks. At least its all over now

The highest quality. I could not be more pleased.they did an excellent job and went above and beyond. They were always here when they said the would be here and were great about cleaning dust or dirt involved. I would never use another company for similar jobs and I tell everyone who comes here who did the job and I gave them the company’s name.

From start to finish our bathroom remodel ran smoothly. The price was very good for converting our shower/tub combo to a beautiful walk in master shower. The crew was on time everyday. They were neat and clean in the work area. They also answered all my questions. We would hire Updike againVery pleased.

Updike refurbished our bathroom floor in our 100+ yr old house. Very happy with the results. The owner went out of his way to get floor samples to us and happily answered all of our questions. No pushy sales or attempts to upsale us, just a fair price on what we wanted done. The installer was professional, arriving when expected and he cleaned up the area he was working in at the end of the days. All communication with the office was promptly answered. Would definitely use again.

Fabulous work! Dan evaluated my bathroom before the project and suggested a couple of great ideas that turned out nice. The contractor worked long hours and did a fabulous job --- I love the results and I know that the quality of the work is great. He cleaned up at the end of each day and kept me in the loop as needed. Highly recommend Updike!

Updike Bathroom Remodeling was fantastic from the first contact to the follow-up. This was a job that was a total tear out down to the studs. When I went to the showroom, the entire process was explained. I left with tile samples to see what they would look like in the different light at my house. When I returned with my selection, I went home this time with the selected tile and countertop samples and wooden vanity samples. When those major items were selected, there was the discussion about what fixtures I would like. They were very patience with me as I changed my mind multiple times before signing the contract. Also they were very honest about when they would be able to do the bathroom and the length to do it when they started. When the work was started, I barely knew the installers were there. They came on time and were always polite. There wasn’t any loud music nor trash left in the yard. They cleaned-up each day before leaving. The tile work is outstanding and the fixtures are placed where I wanted them. I couldn’t be more pleased.

They were somewhat pricey, but their work was outstanding, I enjoyed working with Alex. He was very professional and knowledgeable in his craft. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to refresh their bathroom, but keep in mind you do the painting.

The guys are finishing a total remodel of our master bathroom. I can’t say enough good things about our installers. So good and professional! These guys get the job done and know their stuff! Very happy we selected Updike!

I had my initial meeting with Dan (the owner) in my home. He was very low pressure and explained what they did and how they worked. He was very upfront with estimated cost. When the time for the job came around, the crew working in my home was very professional and I would have been comfortable leaving them to get the job done in my home even if I was not present. The finished product was very nice and worth every penny. I would hire them again without question.Update: still 5 stars and definitely recommend. Used them again to redo a guest bath shower/tub area. I had a couple of bath mats in the room that wen I pulled them up left a residue (some of the mat on the floor). Without asking our installer, Alex, went and cleaned the residue off the floor as part of his clean up the first day. He definitely didn’t have to clean it up since I made the mess but I was very happy that he did. I’ve had two different installers for the two projects and both were phenomenal.

They did a very good job from planning to completion. Offered suggestions and had examples for visual to help understand the actual job and process.

Redo of our bath..Dan came to the house with some samples..measured and discussed what we wanted and made recommendations..went to the showroom and picked everything..in process now..will send pics when finished!

Dan updike and the crew were great. Dan showed up as planned made the measurements and wrote the quote and gave a time frame. Easy and complete and the work was done sooner than expected. The crew was very nice and cleaned behind themselves, they always let us know when they were coming so this made life easy on us. Fast clean and efficient.

We had master bath and two other baths remodeled and could not be any happier. They were clean, arrived on time, finished the remodel exactly in the time we were told, and the workmanship was outstanding. As with any remodel, unexpected events occurred but were handled seamlessly and professionally. Would recommend them in a heart beat!

We had our master bathroom completely remodeled. Garden tub, shower, cabinets, toilet, and flooring all removed. The shower was repositioned to the opposite side of the bathroom. Dan guided me in choosing the cabinets, tile, etc. I purchased the lighting fixtures and mirrors on my own but the installers installed everything. The bathroom is beautiful!

They did a total remodel of our master bathroom. Finished in discussed time and cleaned up after each day. They even put in our shower rod for us. Toliet rocks a bit but I think just needs to be tightened down. Overall pleased with the way it looks.

The total experience of picking out the materials and then executing the remodel was professional without a hitch. I was very impressed with how well they worked with minimal intrusion.

The staff at office was very helpful with various selections of sinks,tiles,colors,showers,etc. Work was done by their employees, not sub-contractors and they did an excellent job, very professional and well done. Final result was great bathroom at affordable price.

Very satisfied with the remodeling job they did on our small bathroom. Several problems came up, but they were all resolved quickly and to complete satisfaction. Jeremy was very professional, friendly, confident, tidy and on time.

Had tub glazed several years ago & glaze has flaked off in many numerous places ever since...don’t waste your money with updike!!

Dan Updike came out to discuss removing my tub and installing a walk-in shower. I requested the work be done the week of 10/16 or 10/23. I then worked with Sheri to pick out tilt, plumbing fixtures, handicap bars, glass doors etc. Jeff Quak & Chad showed up as requested on 10/16/17 They removed my tub and took three walls down to the studs They installed new blocking for the handicap bars, relocated the drain, added additional plumbing They installed drywall & tile to the ceiling on all three wallsEach day, they put down tarps from the front door down the hall to the bathroom to protect my carpeting. They cleaned up when they finished including vacuming my carpeting I love just looking at my shower because it is beautifulThis is a wonderful customer pleasing business that does GREAT work

Sept 2016 had all of my 1980s tub, wall insert, and faucets removed.Jeremy was the guy who came out and did an outstanding job put in a tile shower wall to ceiling, bottom shower base, facets and extra tall glass doors. I was able to trust him in my home without me being there.Tile makes me nervous because I have seen so many crappy jobs. I got home and was so excited because tile cut straight, not one jagged edge. Even shower door looks straight along the tile.I dont recommend to many businesses. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND UPDIKES . Im big on customer service and good work (hard to find).They exceeded my expectations 10 fold.

This is the 2nd time (and 2nd home) we hired Updike Bathroom Remodeling for bathroom remodeling projects. For this project, Dan Updikes company replaced three large previously damaged bathroom wall mirrors and installed backsplashes on four (4) bathroom sinks. They also updated our master bathroom shower stall by installing two permanent Onyx Collection Liberty Corner Shower Caddies with matching tile trim and two ADA stainless steel shower grab bars. During the planning phase, Dan visited the house two times to discuss our options, make recommendations, and take measurements. He provided his quote on time, explained the scheduling and payment processes, and set our expectations on how the project would be completed by his team. Everything went well. The two team members showed up on time, were very professional and did a great job completing each part of the project. They went above and beyond by completing a couple of unplanned items; patched two holes in the drywall at the top of one old mirror that was being replaced, then painted the area prior to installing the new mirror so everything would have a nice clean finish. They also vacuumed and cleaned all workspaces. We will definitely hire Updike Bathroom Remodeling for any future bathroom improvement needs.
