Have used them for years, but had the best experience this past week. Bought my new used car on Tuesday(with brand new tires on it), 36hrs later got a nail in the tire. Popped in Thursday am and they got me right in! Unfortunately nail was in sidewall and not repairable. They would have put on a new tire but didnt carry the same tires. I was stuck going to the dealership again. They were able to find me a tire but couldnt fit me in for another week! Dealership told me they had some in stock... they didnt actually. Discount Tire to the rescue again...Friday afternoon after spending hours at the dealership (on my birthday) waiting for the dealership to get my tire I called the awesome team at Blaine. Not only did they work me in no questions asked, they had me in and out in 40 minutes so my birthday plans werent ruined! Ive always had great service here but this was the best. Thank you for the great customer service!

Worked with Jack who was very nice and knowledgeable. I had tires put on 4 aftermarket rims and they did a great job. Jack was very attentive to my concerns of damage that can occur while tires are put on and balanced. The techs and I all checked over the rims and tires after they were done. Brought wheels in had tires mounted. Scratched my brand new wheels every one has a mark or scratch in it. Brought back and asked them to put different tires on and they acted like they didn’t care that they damaged them before got quoted 102$ to swap tires ended up costing 140$ for some reason

Came to purchase 4 tires. I looked online for the tires I wanted before I went. So I knew exactly what I wanted. I get their and I wait about 20 minutes for someone to help me. It was pretty full but they had one person checking people out. I tell them what I want and I still have to go through what vehicle I have and so on. Then they tell me the wrong price. $40 extra a tire. So I show him what I already know about the price and they changed it. But why try charging me an extra $160. So then it takes 20 minutes to throw the tires in the back of my truck. 55 minutes to get tires paid and off the shelf. I would have rated it lower but I really like the Goodyear tires and it was cheaper than others.

Lies. Ive attempted to use this business for tires 3 times. Every time they tell me something that sounds like an acceptable amount of time. Every time they end up giving me the excuse Im sorry, were behind my question back, were you behind an hour and a half ago when you told me that it would take an hour and a half? But now we dont know how long...Im a production manager. I deal with this type of turn around time daily. I would never lie to a customer.Unless you want to wait double the amount of time that they tell you, dont go to this store.

I will NEVER return. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at Discount Tire over the last few years and now $300 was stolen out of my truck and all the manager had in response was “I trust my guys” and “I was the only person in your truck”......seriously??!! I watched through the window like I always do. Multiple people in and out of my truck. Now I’m short $300. Half hour away I stopped for gas and noticed the missing cash. Now I have to file a police report.

Just rotated my tires (I think, assuming they did it, which considering their service is a big ask) here in Blaine location.The service is terribleI had an appointment and they barely acknowledged me as I entered and made me wait when there was no one in line, both when I dropped off and picked up my car.When I waited 5+ minutes with no one in line again to pick up, I had to just bluntly ask if I could just have my car back for them to return my keys. Passive aggressive, disrespectful customer service. Total joke.

Been to this discount tire 3 or 4 times now. The road has donated some nails to my tires over the past year or so. Honest folks here. Have had my tires both repaired and replaced at a good rate.

When i did a summer to winter tire swap in the fall I told the guy I didnt want to do the swap if they wouldnt remount the summer tires. The guy reassured me that the tires were fine and they would remount them no problem. I guess I should have got that in writing because apparently there word wasnt good enough. Its funny that tires plus had no problems with Remounting them. Looks like they only work on what they want. I know where I will never go again or ever recommend.

Jack was awesome! I had a hole in my tire that was to big to plug, they didn’t have the size tire I needed and it would take 2 hours until the warehouse could drop it off. Instead he had the guys put my spare on, I went to the warehouse and got the tire and they put it on for me instead of having to wait. I’m happy with the service.

I dont want to seem exaggerated so thats why my times will be very specific in this review.I arrived today at 10:43am, stood in line patiently, and when it was my turn I purchased a set of winter tires for my Nissan Altima. The manager told me it would be a 1 hour and 45 minute wait. OK, I can handle that. I really need tires and today is my day off and really the only time I have to get tires. When I was finished at the counter at 11:04am and I sat down and decided to wait instead of getting a ride.2 hours go by, my car is still parked outside, untouched. 3 hours go by, my car is still parked outside, untouched. And I am still sitting here waiting. I decide to get up and ask at the desk when my car will be worked on. Its been sitting there for over 3 hours. Justin tells me that I am next and once inside a bay it will be 15 minutes. This was at 2:10pm. At this point I have already been here for 3 hours and 27 minutes and my car hasnt even been touched! Finally, at 2:15pm, I see a tech get into my car and pull into bay 2. Finally - Ill be outta here before the 4 hour mark! But boy was I wrong. My car wasnt ready until 2:53pm. 38 minutes after being pulled into a bay. Not 15 minutes like Justin said.My review isnt out of anger. This review is more because I was annoyed that I was lied to. And I dont like being lied to. They were busy and they were all working really hard. I could see that and I appreciate that. My review is to warn others about their ability to manage time and correctly predict service times. They told me 1 hour 45 minutes and I was here for a total of 4 hours and 10 minutes. Thats not OK.

Very fast service and their tire prices are actually pretty good. I like that you can set up your order online and it lets you know if the tires are on hand, and if not, the number of days it takes for the tires to get to the shop. Really, a no hassle way to do it and you decide what you want to pay for. Worked out great with my trailer tires. Done within a couple hours of dropping it off as a walk in

Got a flat the day before Thanksgiving. Didn’t get a chance to get in, and didn’t go Thanksgiving for obvious reasons. Went today (Black Friday) on my boyfriend’s suggestion. I had never been a customer of Discount Tire before. I was the 3rd person in line with 10 or 15 people behind me. There were 3 people to help customers. They were as quick and courteous as can be, and so nice even though all I needed was a patch. The guy said it’d be done within the hour, and not that I didn’t trust his judgment but it seemed so busy there I thought for sure it would take longer. I didn’t even have time to decide whether I should do a little grocery shopping or just eff it and go to Ole Piper for a bloody (I’m not a Black Friday kind of person) before I got the text that my tire was ready. I paid nothing for the patch and I didn’t buy the tires there. I know where I’ll be buying my next set though! This place is awesome.

Good place for decent tires...at decent prices. Thing is you can never easily compare tires just like shoes or laptops....every place has their products and product numbers. So you pretty much pay what you can and they want. They will always find a tire to fit your budget. Maybe great, good, ok, marginal.

If I could give this place and the staff higher than 5 stars I would. They are very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I love that they offer free tire rotations even if your car tires werent purchased from them. Thats also what keeps me coming back to them. I have had several tires for my cars purchased at DT and every experience has been great. I wont go anywhere else for tires. Their prices are great as well.

I will not be going to Discount Tire anymore. I have been a loyal customer for years with a good experience and with good pricing on tires. This last experience was not good. Quite bad actually. I had a screw in my tire. I put a temporary plug in it. I went to Discount Tire to have it repaired if possible and replace if needed. I knew I might need new tires as the screw was near the edge tread. The counter person told me that they usually can not fix a tire that has had a plug inserted - said this before he knew where the screw went in. Then we went to look at the tires. He saw they had a lot of tread and saw the hole was near the edge and said that was an issue which I kind of knew already. Then we went back in. I asked for 2 new tires. He showed me tires in the $250 and up range. I asked him about the $178 tires I saw online. He then showed me those tires. Asked for 2 of those (they were the mid range tire). He then showed me the costs and ran down the price list quick. He added the replacement guarantee without asking and skimmed past it quick. I told him I did not want that. He then explained what it was and I said I knew what it was because I have been a Discount Tire customer for years. I paid and left while the repair was done.I picked up the Truck and went home. Now I see that I have 3 lug nuts that are rounded off. They are the chrome cap style. Caps were removed on the 3, they are rounded and nobody told me. Now I have to figure out how to get these off as I am doing a brake job next week.Issues - said plugs being inserted means they typically can not repair (I have had numerous tires repaired after a plug successfully), showed me only premium tires, tried to sneak in the protection plan without asking me or explaining up front what it was - just adding it to the bill and rounding off 3 lug nuts.I will not be back. They lost a long time customer.

I ordered online, changed my mind and called and asked them to switch the order to a different brand. I called the day before the appointment and found the replacement tires had not come in. I really needed winter tires on this Honda Civic and as I talked to them on the phone they offered me a much better tire they did have in stock at the same $83 per tire price. I had set the appointment to coincide with my every other week volunteer shift at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints temple in Oakdale. If they had made me wait for the cheaper set to come in, it would have meant a 2 hour round trip from my home, not insignificant on my retirement budget. Really appreciate it.

Fantastic experience. Service was prompt, straight-forward and friendly. I went in to buy two new tires, but I decided to do all four. They were happy to do just the two and did not try to bully me into buying more than I needed. I went in expecting it to be a Jiffy Lube type of experience, but it was anything but. And on a side note, the facility itself is very clean and comfortable. Ill be recommending them to family and friends.

Scheduling an appointment at this store can be difficult. It seems like they are always very busy. Plan to wait a little while. The service is excellent and the staff is very helpful and courteous.

Stopped by to get my tires balanced a few weeks back to stop shaky steering wheel. Talked to Justin and he took great care of me. Quoted me out a set of winter tires for next year as he said I had one season left on the current ones. Stopped by today again as the shaky steering wheel was annoying me and Justin was there again and had the tires in stock and got me in and out within an hour. It was my first experience with the Blaine Discount Tire location. It is difficult to watch how busy this business is at this time of year in Minnesota. The intake technicians have excellent customer service skills and manage to coordinate the busy telephone calls in addition to walk-ins and service by appointment customers. The service technicians work at an amazing fast pace with the utmost safety in mind. I made an appointment on line the same day and was in and out within 45 minutes with four brand new tires. The intake technician showed me a side-by-side comparison between my current tire manufacturer and a secondary option. I chose the secondary option, which was less expensive, with the promise of longer life and functionality. My entire family has always had an excellent experience with Discount Tire and use them exclusively. Thank you.

Arranged to pick my vehicle up after hours, gave them and spare and the said that was fine. I go there and read a sign that says door is open for customers for pick up. Walk around the whole building knocking on each door with no answers. I call this place 4 times with no answers. If they arent going to be able to do what they say they can, how about a courtesy call. Furious with this establishment

Its easy to make an appointment online. I received friendly fast service and the best price on my flat repair. I will definitely be back when I need new tires.
