I’ve lived here for two years and I like that it’s more quiet and great study spaces. Some things aren’t fixed timely, but there are far worse places to live in west campus.

I have loved living at Ruckus 2.0 this year. It has been a great location for my senior year and even during COVID-19, because I was able to take my online classes and have Zoom meetings in the study rooms, which was super helpful. The maintenance team is always highly responsive and very kind when their help is needed. I would recommend living at Ruckus on Rio, especially for UT students as it is so close to campus.

I am currently living at Ruckus on Rio and I have loved it. The study rooms have been so nice during COVID because I was able to do class there. Also, the maintenance men are so sweet and are always there ASAP whenever something in our unit is broken. They are the best!

The pretty central location in west campus is good, but it can feel like its just a little too far from some places like Target. The Lucky Lab on the first floor is so useful for grabbing a coffee on the way to class or even to take back to your place and enjoy. The top floor gym has plenty of equipment to satisfy any workout needs. That said, Id love some free weights other than dumbbells.

Fun place to live with free stuff

I’m living at Ruckus 2.0 this year and have loved it so much that I already signed for next year! Concerning COVID safety, they are often cleaning the community areas like the gym and study rooms so I always feel comfortable and safe. Also residents are always wearing masks which is great. The apartments are super spacious and the furniture is comfortable and modern! Overall, great vibe and I highly suggest living here!

I have a friend who lives here and I LOVE visiting her! The interior is super cute and the amenities are so nice to have when I visit.

I LOVED living here. The amenities are great (sky gym, study rooms, coffee bar) the rooms are very chic and bright. To debunk some of the reviews I read, yes there is a lot of noise from construction but that’s a problem everyone in West Campus deals with, and is not specific to Ruckus 2.0. Not really fair to blame that on Ruckus 2.0. When I moved out they were very fair about fines and don’t go after you for every little thing. You have fobs to gain access to rooms and amenities so it was secure. Maintenance is prompt and very friendly. Lastly, the Luxur package lockers are AWESOME. You never have to worry about not being home for delivery or packages getting stolen.

I would highly recommend living here! The design is so chic and modern. There are plenty of spaces to study and they even have an on site coffee shop. The elevators are so fast which is nice and the location is unbeatable. Less than a 5 min walk to campus!

Ruckus 2 is one of the best places in West Campus to live. The design is prettier than any other apartment, super spacious and the amenities are amazing! I also love that Lucky Lab is right downstairs. I highly recommend!!!

Beautiful & clean community, friendly and helpful staff. I used to live here and loved it. Great amenities and any maintenance issues were taken care of asap.

I would highly recommend living here, The Staff is welcoming, helpful and very professional. As a student this made living fun and easy, the amenities the offer are awesome especially the sky gym or the coffee shop that is located on the first floor! They make their residents feel cared for and even have special events and giveaways.

The amount of space that you get at The Ruckus vs other student living around Austin Texas is ridiculous; and for the price... A STEAL! The kitchen and living room are huge, and the closet space is amazing as well. Having experience at other complexes, then coming to The Ruckus, I couldnt imaging going back to paying over $500 a month for a smaller unit.

Dont sign here - the staff is so unhelpful! Construction wakes residents up and doesnt stop until the evening. The staff members arent doing a thing to soundproof windows or find any realistic solution. Their only solution was that for A FEE, I could move to a room located at a different Ruckus property. Its miserable, DONT LIVE HERE.

Homeless people constantly occupy/sleep in lobby and study rooms. Management has done nothing to address the issue. No security, no nothing. The lobby doors are open until 8pm when the coffee shop closes, so homeless people come in just before 8pm and sleep in study rooms. Management better address this before there is a regrettable incident. We shouldnt pay $20k per year to share lobby with homeless.

Best place to live in West Campus! The apartment is always clean, theres great coffee downstairs at Lucky Lab, and the amenities are awesome!

I cannot recommend Ruckus 2.0 or Cardinal Management Group. They will not settle or negotiate your lease whatsoever during the Covid epidemic. Typical short term thinking .

Terrible. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Elevator has been broken for two weeks while people are moving out, and there have been no attempts to fix it.
