Ive only been here a couple of months but so far my experience has been great. The staff is very helpful and supportive. They are very helpful when you go into the office with questions or concerns. The complex is very clean and your neighbors are friendly.
I’ve lived her for 2 1/2 years now and love it. Not only is the property pretty, but it has everything I needed, like gyms, pools, a garden tub, microwave, and washer and dryer. Even stuff I didn’t know I needed, like usb outlets in the kitchen side of the bar. It’s more on the modern side.
These apartments have gone down hill every since they changed management. It is nothing but homeless druggies as neighbors, they don’t have any respect or common courtesy, they never notify when maintenance is coming at 8 in the morning to cover up a broken fire sprinkler instead of fixing it. And I work from home so I have missed over a weeks worth of work due to neighbors and maintenance. Office never answers phone calls or complaints. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE APARTMENTS all of these reviews are before they changed management. Again do not recommend as they are also raising the rent on these when it’s going down hill fast.
What can I say about The Cove at saddle creek is its a amazing place to live and a safe community 😀 I love Alison the manager, she has been everything for our stay here and I appreciate her ethics...Thanks for being professional and caring...
My boyfriend and I were apartment shopping for weeks and we fell in love with the spacious rooms at the saddle creek apartments for cheap prices in a great location. However, what convinced us to sign was the efficiency and speedy responses from leasing associate Dan. He answered all of our questions promptly (and we had a lot). He also helped us get the best deals possible! I am looking forward to living at Saddle Creek and hope that all the employees there are as awesome as Dan.
Since the first inquiry, the staff here has been super helpful and responsive to all my questions. My apartment is beautiful and I am paying a great price! The whole complex is beautiful and has amenities I have never seen at past apartments. The staff continues to be great, and my neighbors are a joy as well. I have zero complaints about this place.
This place is what I was searching for when I started looking for a place to call home. It is not only cozy but I feel safe and secure here. They care about you as a person not just a rent check. They keep you informed about what is happening. They respond quickly to your calls. I would highly recommend it as your next home.
After 2 years here, I have few complaints. The apartment has nice fixtures and appliances. The garden tub really sold me. The staff has turn over, like any other property, and the current staff is friendly to me. Neighbors in my building are nice. Parking can be tough, occasionally, so be sure to have your permits up. The pool has nice furniture and the parcel lockers are very handy.
My fiancé and I just moved Into the apartments and so far we have had an excellent experience. The move in process was very smooth and the ladies and gentleman that work in the office were very accommodating and helpful. We decided we wanted to get a bigger unit last minute and they had no problem making that happen for us.Also, we were out of town and not able to view our unit before moving in and Valerie was very kind and went and took pictures and videos of it for us.The grounds are nice and well maintained. The apartment itself is beautiful minus some wear and tear but nothing too bad. So far so good!
Cheaply built. They need a new way to pay rent bc the current system isnt very good. Myself and a few other residents have had the payment not go through then get charged with a late fee. Its nice to have two pools and the staff is friendly, but they need more people in the office to help with residents. And its VERY hard to find parking at night.
I have had a great experience living here. The pplucation/move in process was amazingly easy even during this pandemic. The front office is friendly and responsive. There is always a matnience/cleaning crew driving around making sure the complex is well maintained. Only downsize is limited parking and tiny spots. Having two small children, I wish the pool hours were longer! I would highly recommend moving there
We moved here back in April and we’re loving it. Great price. Amazing location and our apartment is very spacious. Love living here!
Very well kept and renovated. The linoleum pergo is even in taste.
Spacious apartments with high ceilings and faux wood flooring. Quiet area and pleasant neighbors. Parking spaces are a little squishy but there are plenty of them so you won’t get your daily steps in just trying to carry your groceries in. Amenities look great and can’t wait to use them, moved in right when COVID started...4 month ago
I have lived at these apartments for 1 year now and just renewed my lease with them, they have been a fantastic place to live. The apartments are pretty nice, especially taking into consideration the rent prices here, and the community and grounds are very nice. I have especially loved that management has been communicative and more than understanding throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, they are more than willing to set up payment plans and accept late payments due to financial hardships.Everytime I have to go in and speak with someone in the office, or give them a call, the ladies in the office are always pleasant, and more than accommodating for any needs. I have enjoyed living here the past year. The only complaints I would have are that most of the parking spaces are compact only, and full size parking spaces are usually either taken quickly, or very far away, and there are no full size visitor parking spaces. I was also told we would eventually get key fobs for the entry gate, but so far I have not received notice that they are available, and have to use the keypad at the gate instead. Luckily these have not been major issues for me, and the pros have definitely outweighed the cons so far. Definitely one of the better complexes I have lived at the past few years!
I’ve lived here for a year now and absolutely love it ! My neighbors are great, the office staff is very helpful and respond quickly to my emails or needs ! Quiet neighborhood and great for families. Most definitely recommend this complex !
Ill start by saying Im usually not one to review places, but upon leaving this apartment complex, I am very upset and dont want others to make the same mistakes. The living experience here was fine. Staff seemed friendly, and I dont have many complaints as far as maintenance goes. Rent was expensive, especially for the size of apartment.Upon moving out, I went through with the manager about everything that needed to be done. He told me if there were any issues, they would call and/or email me to let me know, and assured me my entry deposit ($500) should cover any damages to the apartment plus I had insurance. This was a few months ago.A week ago, I got a call from a collection agency saying I owe them $260 from miscellaneous damages. I had received absolutely no calls or emails from Remington Hills about these damages. (I quote because I left the apartment in pristine cleaning condition, with only a few stains on the carpet and one paint chip from a corner.)I have now been told that because I didnt outright ASK for a walk through with an employee to have insurance cover any damages, they did not have to offer me one. At this point I cannot do anything but pay the fee so my credit doesnt take a hit.Im most upset with the LACK OF COMMUNICATION from the office employees, especially after they explicitly told me they would contact me.
Love living in these apartments. Convenient location, quiet and well-managed complex & very responsive staff. Maintenance has responded to my requests within a couple of days. Parking is somewhat limited but that’s never been an issue. Over all very pleased!
I love the Cove! The location is super convenient, close to lots of shopping but off the busiest south Austin roads. Chandler and Victoria in the office are amazing! I always feel welcome in there. The whole staff are friendly and happy to help whenever I need them. Its awesome!
Moving in they seemed totally disorganized which was the first red flag. They will charge you for maintenance and never actually complete it. They will want to charge you for extra keys when they never gave me a mail key in the first place. THEY TOWED MY CAR because they never gave us parking permits.Avoid Roscoe properties at all costs. I will never rent from them again
Place was great while we lived there. Loved the dog parks. Apartments were peachy, aside from our floor being very thin (we had to buy rugs for the entire apartment so that our downstairs neighbors didnt have to suffer). The reason Im giving two stars is because after we moved out, the office gave me the email address of a woman to email about the final move-out payment, saying that they couldnt help me, only she could. She was in charge of money. I emailed her. She did not email me back. I emailed her repeatedly over two months; no word. About a week ago, we got a letter in the mail saying we owed them $200, which is what we expected. There were no directions on how to pay, and they had disconnected our RentCafe account (what we had paid rent with in the past), so I emailed again. A couple days ago, we got contacted by a collection agency. Yes, thats right. Letter, and then immediately collection agency. Never got a call. Only one letter right before. No directions on how to pay. So yeah, they need to get their office organization together, because its ridiculous to have my credit dinged for such a stupid reason.
The apartments are of a comfortable size. However, parking is very limited. Also, this apartment complex changed management companies to Roscoe Properties last year, and it changed for the worse. They never clean the common spaces in the building (namely hallways and stairwells). Warning: if you ever cook in your apartment, they will charge you a $50 fee. You can clean and leave the apartment spotless (better than how you got it), use air fresheners and not cook for a week before you leave, and they will still charge you. Especially if you have a Hispanic (like me) or Indian last name, they will assume you use certain spices, whatever that means, that leave strong odors. Also, after Roscoe took over, the auto pay did not work correctly. I received an eviction notice once because my payment had not gone through by the 3rd of the month. I received the notice on the 4th, after the office had been closed. I couldnt talk to anybody and did not understand what was going on. Terrible communication.
Very friendly environment. Management is great. They take care of anything you need fast. Very calm at night you find parking. No loud music or people being crazy. Im actually going to stay here another year. I love it. I recommend it.
Moving in was great, everyone seemed very friendly until a couple months in. Management changes ALL THE TIME... nothing ever gets resolved no matter how much you bring it to their attention. Upon move out, they wanted to charge $1200 yet I never saw a bill and it was apparently at a collection agency.. Oh and they gave collections the wrong number so the only way I noticed anything was my credit report. I definitely wouldnt recommend them to anyone.
Limited parking and horrible on responding to calls and emails. Maintenance has had some issues as well. Ever since Roscoe took over it went downhill very fast. If you are in the first building you will end up parking near the 3rd due to people parking on the cove side and walking to the other apartment complex (saddle creek). They took the fence down that separate the two complexes and it limited the parking for cove even more. Then they lost my end of lease letter and wanted to charge me a whole month so luckily I kept a copy and showed them. The day I showed them it there was another lady inside who had hers lost as well. Good luck if you move there!
Avoid Roscoe Properties and any location they have ever touched. The exact details of what I witnessed Roscoe Properties do has been removed from this review because Roscoe threatened me with legal action. While my statements can factually be proven true and are not libel I do not intend to let them waste my time. The fact they will resort to legal action to remove negative reviews should tell you all you need to know about Roscoe.I have no first hand experience with this property but I can speak about Roscoe as a company after 2 year of experience with them.
The apartment was remington hills when I first moved in and changed ownership and went down hill really fast drugs were being sold in the apartment below mine told the office and they did nothing about it cops were constantly there for one reason or another there was never anywhere to park they gave out stickers but did not tow anyone without one. the new office staff was very rude and not very knowledgeable then they move the office to another complex and made it extreme inconvenient. the pool was closed for cleaning for like 3 months from like march to May almost June. not what i was expecting for paying almost 1300 a month. then when we moved out they said we didnt pay a deposit which we did to the other company so we never received the $1300 back for the deposit. Would not recommend this apartment to anyone
1 star because I can not give 0.I currently live at The Cove at Saddle Creek and my lease can not be over fast enough. Ever since the entire office staff changed it has been an absolute nightmare. No one will call/email back until you threaten to contact corporate then when you do contact corporate they will nit pick at you for every single thing for making a complaint. Stephanie sits in her office all day and is zero help. They try to charge you every penny they can and once you are in a contract you get treated horrible. Do not even waist your time unless the office staff changes. The location is nice and everything looks good but it is not worth the headache! I would not even consider renewing my lease or staying at this apartment until they have a whole new staff in the office that cares about their residents.
Friends live here. They like their apartment okay. A bit south of town but not so far it feels like a commute.
I love the place. I currently live there. But the name recently changed to The Cove
Remington Hills has been a great place to live, quiet, always on the ball with any problems and respectful of their tenants. Only one BIG problem. Roscoe Properties have now taken over (3 weeks ago). I used to live at a Roscoe Property and everything went downhill really fast! They allow aggressive breeds, pool parties by neighboring communities (non residents), never address any problems, the pool went green and cloudy. There were dogs and glass bottles in the pool area, nothing every done about any of it. Couldnt wait to move, moved here, now theyve taken over!!! Cant wait for my lease to expire, Im outta here!!
They continue to change office personal. When you talk to them about a problem they ask you to file on line. It needs a little personal service.
To many speed bumbs. Nice apt tho
DO NOT LIVE HERE. Did not enjoy my stay here for various reasons. Upon move out they made up charges, saying I owed them around $1200 (i.e. cleaning, new carpet through the whole apartment, replacing 1 blind but charging for 2...) I disagreed and they sent my debt to a collection agency before even speaking to me. And to top it all off they gave the collection agency the wrong information so I couldnt even get a hold of them which greatly effected my credit score. Management told me that it wasnt their problem. Do you really want to live at a place like this?
Nice area. Good location
Awesome great customer service
Paper thin walls. New management is terrible. Overpriced for the terrible service and small apartments. Only upside is the maintenance guys. They are usually prompt and polite.
Very roomy apartments nice and quite
The staff is great!
Great Apts
Quiet and friendly environment
Very nice apartments
Gated community, not to far from town.
Cute, quiet and safe ... what more could you ask for
