I choose this apartment as my first apartment to live in by myself. It was the best decision I made because I love my apartment so much! It is spacious, clean and not bad on price at all. With a quiet and family friendly complex, I feel right at home. It is a great location in the riverside area which is perfect for my job downtown. Apart from the great apartment itself the leasing process was so fast and easy thanks to my amazing agent Lucy! She is so nice and helpful and made my process a breeze to move in. She really cares for all of us and does everything she can to make us feel right at home. All things considered this is a great place to live!
I have had a good experience living in High Point Village and have to commemorate the staff and Lucy for being so caring and helpful. The apartments are affordable and spacious. I would suggest anyone interested to schedule a tour with Lucy or Angie ASAP! I am grateful that maintenance has gone above and beyond with maintaining my apartment.
Takes multiple trips to the office and maintenance request to get anything fixed, they will let water leaks go and go. Trash all over the place, no one picks up after their dog. Washing machines and dryers have been broken for months. These may be the worst apartments in Austin.
My place is a roach infested heap and the parking lot on my side is like a third world country garbage pile. The police are called both not nearly enough and far too often at the same time.If you need a roof over your head, go ahead. If you do have options though, do all you can to live somewhere else.
The manager Angie and Lucy are very helpful and when i have any issues with anything they help out and when there is a maintenance problem they come out right away.. They are very understanding.. I really like living here i been here for a year and the school bus is convenient for my kids.. I appreciate all they do.. Thank you Angie and Lucy for all yall help and support..
I toured the property last week and Lucy the assistant manager took time to explain to me the application process the fees She took time to explain to me what all I was going to need prior to moving in. Lucy is a great asset to the property and to the company I will return once my lease expires she’s an awesome person and always greets me with that smile I gave her five stars for being bilingual and and she never ignored the residents that are coming in as I was asking her for the application process . I do you recommend this property to anybody who is a first time Renter. I love her attitude and she is always smiling and she Has a great positive adiude. to say about the property I will move in once my lease expires Thank you Lucy for being the person you are you’re awesome and you’re 100%
My husband and I moved here a 6 months ago and is glad that we made that choice. Lucy and Angie are wonderful and understanding. Maintenance can be a little slow sometimes but overall High Point Village is a quiet and great place to live..😊

I dont live here, but I live next to this place in a different apartment complex. My apartment faces one side of this complex and it has made my time living in my current apartment horrible and is the reason I am moving. There is constantly loud music coming from this parking lot. People outside drinking, throwing bottles and cans everywhere. I am writing this at 11:30pm after having to report a noise complaint.....again.
Just moved here. So far I like it. Lucy from management was very helpful throughout the application process. The apartments themselves are a bit old but very spacious compared to similarly priced 1x1s. Maintenance seems to have rushed in getting the place ready for me so they missed some things but nothing serious. So far it has been a pleasant stay.
The manager Angela Compos will give you the run around. First, my son who lives there, got one of his friends to move in and the complex has a notice that if you do get someone to move in, you get $500. Over a month ago, and still waiting on the $500, and get nothing but attitude when calling to find out status. Second, never was given and copy of the lease, which was promised. Third, sent email giving 60 day notice, now she says she never got it. Thank God for email and keeping them ALL. If you are thinking about moving into this place, re-think.
I lived here for some time now. Management Lucy & Angie Campos are great aswell maintenance. Highpoint has a great location as well as pet friendly. I would recommend Highpoint to anyone whos looking for a new beginning. Thanks Lucy, Angie & staff you guys are great.👍
If I could give this place negative stars I would. This is by far the worst place I have EVER lived in and Ive lived in 20 plus places. Maintenance never fixed anything, my AC broke twice and it took them almost a month each time to fix it, my shower was broken for over a month, there was never a door knob on my outside storage regardless of the 20 times I requested a new door knob. I requested screens be put on the windows b/c I lived near the trash and bees would get in and a maintenance man came to my door about a week after I moved in Oct 2016, told me he was going to do it that day and it never got done the entire 13 months I lived there. I had roaches extremely bad and requested extermination at least 10 times and it never got done. When I FINALLY got to move out they tried to charge me for rent for the day after my lease ended. I spoke to a lawyer who read my lease and told me it was illegal for them to charge me and told me not to pay it. I spoke with several people at the site as well as Adara corporate and no one would even LISTEN to me. This apartment and community clearly doesnt care about their residents or how they live. I wish I had never moved here.
I recently moved here almost a year now and I love how helpful loving and full of life the Manager Angie Compos is I thank God for her kindness and helpfulness in helping me in getting my apartment and for being there to give me advice whenever I stop by the office..very helpful..thank you..

After being a tenant here, I am doing you a favor by warning you about this place:1. MAJOR roach problem in walls despite multiple attempts to kill them2. Rodents in walls3. Garbage containers right next to apartments.4. Filthy, ratchet neighbors who treat the parking lot as their personal Toilet and garbage can.5. Frequent loud mexican music playing from back of pickup trucks.6. Pool that is always closed, fitness room has hardly any amenities.7. Laundry machines that dont take credit card and no cash machine in the laundry room.8. Looks like a third world country in central america and not Austin Texas USA. So unless you just got off the boat.. you will not feel home here.9. Outdated and inefficient hot water system10. water bill way too high.. and as a tenant you dont even own the place.11. hot water pressure very poor.The trouble is not the leasing office.. some nice ladies there.. and all of these have been addressed with them. problem is the tenants/neighbors they accept.. and the age of the place and probably also upper management who clearly does not invest in upgrades of this complex.There.. I warned you.

I have had the same leaking bath tub, shower for four months. I pay too much money to not have these repairs done. Laundry rooms and grounds are filthy. My front door is not secure. Weak frame work. This is a starter apartment for me. They were nice enough to work with me with my lack of credit. I will move onto another place once my lease ends.

Beginning process was easy but then once i gave my app and admin fee they changed the move in date and raised the rent all in the same day.. Unprofessional and inconvenient.

This is by far the worst complex ive ever lived in. The management is poor to say the least. Maintenance just gives you an excuse or puts a band aid on the problem. My whole life ive lived in Austin and ive never had bed bugs until i moved here. please stay far away from this property if you know whats good for you.

Just moved into a recent make ready that was TRASHED beyond believe for at least 2 months before the previous tenants moved out. I was told by apartment staff that 8 people were dwelling in the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. When I first saw the unit I was going to transfer into It was a wrecked like trashed. punch holes in the walls the smell of beer and smoke in the walls and carpets ventaltions was all black and murky. Initally i was to transfer to this unit at the being of February so they knew that they needed to start on the unit in order to have It ready. My move in date got pushed back to the 1st. Still no work on the unit. My move in got pushed back again. To the 9th....( Still nothing was done when I checked in again on the 25th of February)... Its the 4th of March Ive come to check to see if anything has started on the unit Im told its going to be ready for move in on the 9th. I go by and periodically see staff working on it. I assume things will be cleaned and changed out because the old carpets are removed and new ones installed. Its the 9th of march I start moving in later that day at 4pm because they worked on it for 3 days of that week I literally moved into wet paint drying because they last minute rushed the make ready and within 3 hours of setting up we spot more then one adult bedbugs on bedding and walls in the bedroom. Im more then unsatisfied with this place Ive been in one dwelling for 6months prior to my transfer and had not dealt with bedbugs in till the transfer. The staff is hard to work with mostly because the turnover is high for employees and they never have direct answers also no support from their corporate owners. Its all about money and poor results and conditions for tenants DO NOT MOVE HERE.

Disgusting apartment. My bathtub was covered in black mold when I got it. They cleaned it and it looked better but still disgusting. Cock roaches every where. We had to treat the apartment weekly through the complex and buy our own Raid to calm the roaches, never gone. The people undermeath me when I first moved in had to terminate their lease early due to bed bugs. My neighbor across the hall had bed bugs. I was promised a rate of $775 and by the next day when I came back it went up to $805. Not worth the cheap rent. The door was hard to open and lock/unlock so when I broke my hand I had to rely on other people letting me into my apartment. I had to wait outside my apartment for hours just because I couldnt open the impossible door. I didnt get a mailbox key for 5 months. I didnt get a mirror over my vanity until they changed the office women, About 8 months in. I think you have to be insensitive and rude to work for them.There was a hole in my living room window and a crack in my kitchen window the entire 13 months of my lease. They were adressed with only duct tape. They had a different date than I had on my lease. Even with me providing my lease, my account is still messed up and they added a late move out charge and prorated rent. Their system said I move out Nov 6, my lease said Nov 20. There is no mail slot for the office so I left keys in apartment. They once again are trying to charge me late fees and an extra day. They would rather screw you than take the effort of sending maintenance up to check the apartment. Its ridiculous and Im so glad to be done with them although I have a suspicipm they are going to try and charge me outrageous move out fees for things that were wrong when I moved in.PHOTOS ARE FROM MOMENT OF MOVE IN.
Be carefull in this apartments one of the person who worked in the office stold the deposits for the rent. They never answer any phonecall they ended up saying she only gave them a $300 money order when she gave them $54 application fee then $300 more they said lady that worked there got fire and they dont know what happen with the rest o the money ve carefull people whatch out with this apartments they like to still money from renters.

Wow the person who answered phone was very rude i asked her prices on the 2 bed rooms she answered me so then i asked her if she had any coming up soon she said no not for the 2 bedrooms but for 1 bed room yes i said ok wait im confused so you dont have any 2 bedrooms coming up she said no you asked me about 2 bedrooms and i gave you the price on it no availablity like wooooow ok thanks for your correction my point is i wasnted to know price before i even ask about the availabilty didnt ask about smart comments you know
Theres alot of roaches in the walls and they come out at night, the pressure for hot water is low and shes showers with cold water maintenance didnt do anything about it but try and fix but failed to, she put in request but theyve yet to come fix it, not to mention the bed bugs she found in the carpet thats led to couches, Im going to throw out for her and if nothing is done about it Im going to contact fox 7 news and well go from there this is redicoulous.
Once of the people that attends is very rude l agree with the poeple who commented before and do not fix what is decomposed it has to be fixing my husbend that is not fair because we pays his rent and we deserve to be in good place.

I am not at all happy I have lived here for two years and things are not repaired on time the air conditioners fail too much they have not wanted to clean or change the carpet ... I am up to date with my rent ... they are demanding to collect and to repair the things that fail in the apartment take all the time I have to send them calling xq la malloria d things are old just paint and does not change. Nothing the pipes are breaking..I need them to fix things fast

M like the apartments but what I do not like is the treatment given by the manager Ángela campo she only treats her preferred ones well that if she attends very well is the assistant Lucy she is very kind and always resides you with a smile and a greeting
I have lived in this place for 2 years and they are definitely improving a lot. The maintenance ones no longer take as long to fix things as they used to. The only bad thing is the manager would be very grateful if the manager was bilingual and racist because when the other one is not saying you have to wait until tomorrow when this one who speaks Spanish and it is definitely not fair because many times it is an emergency.

The manager Angela Campos is racist when we go to talk about something related to the apartment does not pay attention and is very rude and sends things to compose when he feels like it. But the assistant is happy if she is kind and always tries to help you. I personally recommend these departments. But not at all to manager Angela Campos NO!
