I believe reviews sometimes are a way for people to vent out and could be subjective so I will try to stick to the facts and actual actions. We were very mindful of COVID restrictions and how businesses are operating now, so we scheduled an appointment the week prior. When we arrived there on Monday they were clearly not expecting us since there was no information from us on hand or in their system, neither an interaction was intended by the leasing consultant (Heather) so I had to say: We have a couple of questions and information we would like to discuss first if we can sit down before she would send us on our way out to the tour. Her attitude and tone were not the most welcoming so our attitude and view also changed towards the community and the staff. The tour ended up being a self-guided tour which is fine but it was not mentioned over the phone. We were given a set of keys with no map or instructions other than verbal which you can easily forget when visiting a new community.I truly understand that the stress, atmosphere and culture of a company can affect how employees behave and do their jobs every day, so this is NOT a complaint towards Heather or the other female that briefly assisted us, but MORE for the company itself to take the time and check on their employees, their mental health, the tools or opportunities they are providing and really make sure they are happy at work overall. I strongly believe if your employees are happy, their performance will be outstanding, therefore, you will have very satisfied customers too. The community (and I am sure the employees also) have a lot of potential so hopefully the owners will take this into consideration and move forward in a more positive and mindful approach.
By far the nastiest apartment complex I’ve ever seen. The model looks amazing but don’t be fooled. The one building has the nastiest carpet that looks like it hasn’t been changed in 10+ years. The unit was not even cleaned for move in. Stay far far away
My apartment is nice, but small for the s.f. And price. I moved here during the pandemic and I have yet to use the amenities. The main issue is the gate! It has not worked ever since the property was sold. I have been accosted late at night within the parking lot. If you work late hours this may not be the residence for you! I was told there is a “safety officer” on the premises, but you have to call 911 if you want to get into your building, because the safety officer doesn’t provide security. Great location, but If you have any safety concerns, THIS IS NOT the place for YOU! I would suggest paying for one of the gated communities that has security. It will be well worth the money.
This review is very delayed but I stayed at the Stratford for 4 years. Dealing with a leasing office is usually rocky no matter which apartment complex, so given this, I think the Stratford was good for the price. When I first got there, they were owned by Tribridge. When I left, Providential had taken over. Providential seemed to have a higher standard - they had more routine cleaning/upkeep going on.From knowing other peoples experience, I think the building you are in may make a difference. I was pretty happy with building 4. Building 4 was nice and in general I felt the residents there were happy with it too, as opposed to building 1 which seemed not as well taken care of for whatever reason...Maintenance people are nice!Parking situation is good! Much better than pretty much any other complex nearby. In some of the nearby complexes, residents have a hard time finding parking close to their own building, depending on the time of day. I always felt like parking was pretty easy & convenient, but of course depending on the time of day.Pool situation was always fun. Great way to meet neighbors.I feel like the community was fun, yet respectful. Neighbors didnt complain much about people making noise (i.e. large groups, loud music), however people were also respectful and usually not throwing crazy ragers or anything... Its possible the lack of noise complaints could just be because sound doesnt travel through the building as much? Not sure.A little bit of a critter situation... especially when the seasons changed, some critters would pop up around the building. Having pest control come before the season started changing helped keep critters out.Valet trash - good.Nice & safe area. Close to pretty much everything - grocery store, etc.12 minutes from Midtown. 25 minutes from the airport. 5 minutes to the hospital. 15 minutes to The Battery. 4 minutes to get to GA-400, 6-minutes to get to I-285. (pending traffic)Gate was working about 50% of the time. Did not bother me that much because its such a safe area. All in all, it was good - I originally planned on only staying 1 year but stayed 4. Lol.
The personnel tells you about availability (most likely does not exist) to get your $$. I was told that an apartment was going to be available and that the admin fee was refundable but after paying app and admin $$ they NEVER called. Due to lack of communication, I told them to cancel my app. They denied the return of the admin fee, $200. They are full of it. Just want to take your $$ so do not apply for any apartments where these professional scammers are.
We moved in and the apartment was filthy, smelly, and the carpet was disgusting. THANKFULLY Hector was here and replaced our carpet and got our apartment cleaned. He was amazing at his job. Unfortunately he has left the companyTHE BIGGEST PROBLEM. There is possibly mold in the walls of this apartment complex. There has been a musty/moldy smell though-out the halls since we moved in. Without any notification they opened up the walls and exposed everyone in the apartment complex to what appears to be mold. For over a week they used humidifiers and sprayed bleach on what, as you can see in the photos, looks like mold. We have asked the management if this is mold and they are refusing to answer our questions.Dont know why you would spray bleach if it isnt mold... We have been patient and called for weeks to the office and no one has done a thing. We had a meeting with the assistant manager and I have never been treated so unprofessionally. She was disrespectful and dismissive of our legitimate concerns. All the while, she still refused to tell us if we had been exposed to mold. We have pictures and emails documenting the entire thing. Now I see why the rating is so low for this apartment, management is non-existent.Someone keeps removing the photos of the mold. Why would you do that??? INTERESTING. We will keep posting them forever and ever.
Nice community, great people and an excellent area. Close to everything you need. Staff is helpful and maintenance responds quickly to work orders
Very helpful, new management is making this property look amazing. The location is great as well
Thank you so much Heather we greatly appreciate you for this experience you made our moving process so much better n easy guys when you come here ask for Heather she’s prompt n fast great personality she helped us with all of our needs thank you heather great apartments complex Keaton
Great community and location. They offer virtual tours to make it easier to find your apartment without having to visit in person. Crystalle is great and was very helpful as I was trying to find a new apartment. Highly recommend!
I had a really nice experience here! I am trying to figure out where I want to be in Atlanta and this property is now at the top of my list. Crystalle was so helpful and super personable!
I tried to go to the clubhouse to get more info on the apartments. When I arrived there was a note on the window to ring the ring device. I ranged the bell twice and no one came to help me. When i looked through the window, two people males were sitting at their desk ignoring me. I left after the 3rd ring. All i wanted was some info but instead got blantely ignored. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I have had a great experience at Stratford Apartments. The management staff have been very kind and have gone out their way to accommodate me. Chaveli and Lisa have been exceptionally gracious. Chaveli went out of her way to take me on a tour of apartments I was interested in prior to moving in. She suggested the one I chose and I love the apartment and the beautiful view I have. She has also been very kind and patient and has helped me in scheduling any needed maintenance. The maintenance staff has been exceptionally helpful as well. Patrick came to fix my air condition unit on the weekend in the rain and didn’t leave until it was completed. The surrounding area is beautiful and safe.
Came here for a tour and the process was so complicated. Doesn’t make me want to move here.
Had the WORST experience dealing with the management- more like mismanagement. I had 2 different people Tellys and Vance telling me 2 completely different versions and they called me and emailed me with no coordination amongst themselves! I was charged $300 for their online application and I called them and even left voicemails to cancel my application even before my information was processed but they went ahead and charged me. I am going to reach out to the upper management for every dime I am charged especially having no empathy during the pandemic. I have never seen or dealt with more worst management ever! Do NOT move!Update: I see a reply asking me to contact the office. I called multiple times and put in several requests to refund back my full amount which I was charged due to YOUR mismanagement and provide the email/number to contact you the owner directly! PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL FOR MY REFUND!
My wife moved from the Stratford in July 2020, its been 6 months now and they still havent return the deposit. They dont answer the phone and drive her crazy, unprofessional management.
Been here over a year now and ever since management changed a few months ago they hired new maintenance people and new front office staff. The difference has been night and day! Ms. Lisa is the manager and is absolutely wonderful. I recently had a few service requests and they were handled quickly. I highly recommend this community.
I am currently a resident at this complex. We have been severely mistreated since moving in here. The initial room we were going to move into had mold issues, several amenities that were broken and needed to be replaced, and had a terrible stench in the carpet upon move in. We demanded that they either fix these issues or we would attempt to break the lease. They gave us a different room on reduced rent that came with its own set of issues. Weve had multiple issues with paying our rent and utilities, they actually demanded I get a letter from my bank showing that there was an error on the banks part to withdraw money from. The irony is, this was related to utilities, and it was debiting for the rent charge each time without issue. They applied late fees to my account and said theyd be waived when I provided proof. I went to my bank several times during a pandemic to ask for this proof. My bank, Wells Fargo, had never heard of such a thing (nor has a single person I have ever explained my living situation to, by the way). I had to get a letter written from the manager of the bank branch to indicate that I did have money in my account. I did this once, and then the manager at the Stratford, Tyllis, said I needed a second letter showing the individual dates of the debits that were attempted to be done. So I had to go back again, on my own time during the day when I was at work, to get another letter and eventually my bank didnt know what to do and I had to show my private bank statements along with another signed letter. I sent this to the manager of the Stratford, who then told me he would send a Ledger with my final actual amount owed and the fees waived. Well, I received the ledger, and after going through it I discovered several obvious errors that made the bill almost $250 more than what was actually owed. On a completely separate note, our resident portal on the website actually showed us two rent charges for the same month. Yes, they did in fact attempt to double bill us for our May rent, on top of everything else I have mentioned here. I was told the customer portal is inaccurate and to only go by the ledger that he was sending me. So both forms of attempting to collect payment were well over the amounts that were owed. I have been attempting to contact the manager via email this week and have gotten very limited replies. My bigger concern here is that even if these are honest mistakes, its at best gross incompetence and at worst shady business practices, and had I not caught these things I would have been paying more than what I was supposed to. Oh, and we are only 3 months into this lease. Id highly consider thinking twice before choosing to live here. I cant speak for other tenants, but our experience has been a nightmare.
Great place live, New management group doing a great job....
Please do not do what I did and take the negative reviews lightly. I moved in here thinking the bad reviews couldnt be that true and people only posted when they had something negative to say. After living here for 7 months, I can truly say this was one of the BIGGEST mistakes I have made and I wish I had listened to the reviews I had read!Management is an absolute joke. If you put in a maintenance request, they will address the issue just enough to be able to mark the request as complete on their portal. I have experienced numerous issues with this apartment that were not handled or fixed properly, but the biggest I am dealing with currently is the mold situation. For 3 weeks now, I have been advising management that there is mold growing in my room and around my windows, only for them to continue blowing me off. I was originally advised by maintenance that the growth was going to be tested and the windows were going to be replaced. 3 weeks later, I have not heard back about the test after multiple requests for an update, the windows have not been changed out, and the mold is still here. Their latest fix was to come in and excessively spray the windows and surrounding areas with bleach. How do I know this? I walked into my apartment and could smell the bleach as soon as I opened the door. This was nearly 4 hours after I saw in the maintenance portal that my request had been completed. During this whole time, my dog was crated in the bedroom where the bleach was profusely used - and where they DID NOT VENTILATE WHATSOEVER. Still having no answer in regards to the mold test and not satisfied with this solution, I went to the office to speak with a manager. I was absolutely shocked at the lack of professionalism and respect, to say the least! She continuously interrupted me, blew off my concerns as if I was wasting her time, and after I showed her the pictures of my windows (see below/attached to this post) she told me I needed to calm down because this was only a case of mildew and condensation... At this point, I again asked if the growth had been tested and she refused to provide a response or even acknowledge my question. I left the office more dissatisfied than I was when I went there, as the manager actually ended up closing her office door in my face as I was telling her the issue had still not been resolved properly and I wanted more answers.
Thank you, Crystalle and Heather. 🖤
I have been a resident at The Stratford for 2 years now and I LOVE living here!Everyone in the leasing office is always helpful and friendly and maintenance gets any jobs you need done in a timely manner. The property is maintained very well and I fell in love with this place in it’s entirety at first sight.I’m truly happy to call The Stratford my home ❤️
Stratford was our home for the past 15 years this is by far THE WORST MANAGEMENT weve had. The place is dirty, nobody cleaned for the past 2 months, especially now when the elevators, doors, hallways, etc should be disinfected, the place is an embarrassment.
Ive been living at the Stratford for about 2 years now, and Ive never really had any major problems. Maintenance has always been relatively quick to fix things, management has been pretty accommodating. The location is great, the complex is quiet, but its getting too pricy for the size of the living space. That is the only reason why I am leaving.
The staff especially Patrice welcomed me with open arms. The customer service was awesome. The apartment and the amenities had everything I was looking for in a complex. I would recommend others to come and live at Stratford Apartments. Great location to 400/285. Small apartment community with a lot of personality.
The Stratford apartment is truly my safe haven. It is the best kept secret. I really enjoy living in such a beautiful, safe and peaceful community. The leasing staff is simply AMAZING! They respond very quickly. Mr. Hector is the best at what he does. Ms. Ashley always goes above and beyong to help me. Her positive energy will is contagious. Words cannot express how grateful I am to live in a place where excellent customer service is the priority. I highly recommend the Stratford apartment for anyone who is looking for a safe and peaceful community with a pleasant leasing staff.
I am currently living in the Stratford apartments and i love it here! My apartment is completely updated with new stainless steel appliances. The staff is always super helpful whenever i whenever i need anything. especially Tammy, she is always professional and makes sure my needs are met in a timely manner. I would refer anyone looking for a great new apartment at a great price point.
I moved into the Stratford apartments about 6 months ago and my experience thus far has been great. My apartment has new new stainless steel appliances and is completely updated. The staff is always is always professional and polite. I always go to Tammy because she is very understanding to my needs and if i need anything she is always accommodating and efficient. I will recommend the Stratford apartments to everyone i know.
Listen to all of the bad reviews. The information provided about the ever changing management staff and lack of proper maintenance is 100% accurate. I was promised a number of items to be handled, and they were never handled. If anything goes wrong in your apartment, there isnt any guarantee they will get to your issue quickly or handle it properly. You will be told (ever single time you put in a maintenance request) that maintenance is short staffed and there were a number of emergencies throughout the complex as a reason to why your service request was not completed in a reasonable amount of time. Packages are often misplaced in the back office and it will take them 3 times going back to look for something before actually finding it (they only kept going back on my insistence saying one of their staff members signed for it).Trash is a MAJOR issue in this complex. Tenants do not care to follow rules and leave trash out on days they are not supposed to instead of walking it to the dumpster. Management doesnt have it picked up regularly and rodents get into the trash. If you live on the bottom floor, expect a plethora of pests entering your apartment and needing to request pest control to enter your apt regularly. If anything goes wrong, it is on you... No matter what you think, reasonable or not, it will fall to you.Security here is a joke. Management has decided to leave the gates open during their business hours due to lack of proper parking for prospective tenants (thats what they claim for their reasoning as of late). The gates are often broken and left open about 50% to 80% of the time. The doors to the building I live in were broken (2 of them) for 2 months. Management claimed that they were waiting on quotes. they allow solicitors to walk the hallways and shove menus into your door. Management will state they do not allow it, but it happens all the time. This is without a doubt, the worst apartment I have ever lived in.
This place is horrible. Looked decent at first view but not luxury at allTrash everywhere. Over flowing dumpster. Including in front of the complexes. They call it trash valet. Trash is attracting rate, possums, raccoons, & other animals. I recommend viewing the complex during the week.Paper thin walls. I can hear everything in my neighbors complex and theyre not that loud. I can hear their phone vibrate.Declining building. Building 1 flooded early 2014 and the floors 1st floor & elevator smell foul.AC doesnt work well in all room.Hidden fees everywhere.Incompetent management. Takes forever to repair anything and staff keeps quitting and is replaced frequently.I strongly recommend not moving into this complex. Cant wait to moveLastly, Im suspicious about the positive reviews. I assume theyre old or from employees at Stratford. Id give Stratford zero stars if possible
I was a former resident of this apartment and I had a good experience. The prices are a little high but cheaper then some apartments in Sandy Springs. I felt safe and the office staff is very nice from the minute I walked in Brittany was amazing.. The Assistant Manager Ashley is great to she is easy to talk to and knows her stuff. Maintenance is good if you put in an order they get to you. If you live there stay on the fourth floor because they have high ceilings and I love that. All units have stainless steal so even if you dont get a renovated unit you will have a nice kitchen
This place is amazing! The Stratford Apartments are luxury apartments with the appeal of a nice quiet neighborhood. The ladies in the leasing office is always so friendly and helpful!!!! And Aisha is simply amazing!!! Ive been a resident for two years now and The Stratford has not disappointed me yet! =0)
I have lived here for a year and have had a great experience at the Stratford. There have been numerous improvements to the grounds and buildings that have really increased the look of the property. Aisha in the office has been an amazing resource. She is always very helpful and accommodating. The complex is a little older so sometimes there can be maintenance issues but everything is handled in a timely manner. The location is also great for easy access to downtown too. I would highly recommend stopping in to check this complex out! :)
I am new to Stratford Apartments and Im most impressed with the level of customer service here. Patrice in the front office has been helpful since the first time I ever spoke with her on the phone. Same positive attitude everyday and always has a smile on her face. If it wasnt for her help I probably wouldnt have moved here, THANK YOU PATRICE ! I recommend anyone to ask for her help specifically. She gets the job done !!
I just moved into the Stratford this past December, and Aisha made the whole experience a breeze!! She was very patient with the many questions I had prior to being able to come and see the property. Then when I did meet her in person, I couldnt have been any more impressed!! She is high energy, pleasant and knowledgeable. I applied that day and got approved even quicker than expected. This is a great location, the interiors of the apmt are very nice, love the pool, and Aisha is always enthusiastic and helpful!!
Moving back to the area and remember great days here. Loved the elevator and the friendly service. However based on the recent and old reviews; my dreams to return will not be relive. Thanks for the feedback and warning..... the moment I seen comments about Roaches ....NO MAAM. Got to go!!!!
I wish I could give 0 stars. Ive been at The Stratford almost 8 months and Im counting down the days until I can leave. The leasing office, and corporate for that matter, have zero follow through. I cant begin to tell you how much time and energy Ive put into chasing down answers and getting maintenance (water leaks no less) work taken care of. The one star will be for the maintenance guys themselves... theyve been very nice. The property itself is pretty deceiving when it comes to upkeep. Valet trash is a bunch of green monsters that are places in parking spaces (which is ridiculous considering its hard to find a space to begin with). Trash piles up, it makes the parking lot stink, and there are issues with animals getting into it. Not only that, you have people who put their trash out even when the green monsters arent. Its disgusting. Please look for another home!! This is not worth your money or time!!
Just moved from the Stratford to another apartment in Sandy Springs. Its been a night a day experience.Heres the story:I was moving back to GA from CA on a few months notice and had to pick an apartment sight unseen. The apartments looked nice online (they arent bad in person and pricing is decent for what you get) so I applied. I got great engagement for the first week or 2 and then Brittanie goes silent for around a month and a half.I FINALLY get a response almost a week before I have to move back and schedule an appointment to transfer my insurance and whatnot over there. When I got there, we walked in on a conversation between her and her manager talking trash about me (They actually said my name and we heard it).Maintenance is a joke. Ive been to apartments that do the minimum to get the job done, but they go below that bar. As other people have mentioned, I have had job requests get completed without anyone showing up at the apartment. The staff is unresponsive to emails and the address you are supposed to be emailing changes often (at least in my case, I have 4 emails I was told to reach out to).On top of that, the water is turned off somewhere in the complex at least 4 times a week. And you get emails about every instance. Sometimes more than one. Its ridiculous and Ive never experienced that before.Im happy to be away from this complex and am looking forward to settling this last fine they claim Im responsible for.
I’ve been a resident since 2012 and “love it” since ownership was taken over by TRIBRIDGE. From Hector and the entire management/rental team in the leasing office (ask for Ashley or Brittany), to Kenny and his whole maintenance crew — you can expect 1st class costumer service, professionalism and follow through from top to bottom. I look forward to all the continued improvements across the board—glad I stayed!
I moved recently! OMG, this place is beautiful and very quiet. I had been looking for an apartment for more than 6 months. When I went through The Stratford 3 weeks ago, I fell in love at first sight, so I filled out the application that same day. My apartment is a classic one and is in perfect condition and very clean, has a new carpet and smells new. Thanks to Tellys that tour me the first day. You are so professional. Reginald, thanks for helping me with the final inspection of my apartment and thank you for your patience. Lisa, I love your energy and good vibes. Thanks for making me feel so welcome and for being so friendly. Definitely, guys, you are the winner team.
Looks like a nice enough facility, but how would I know? Scheduled an appointment to tour the place at 2:30, showed up at 2:15. 50 minutes and three phone calls (to some offsite office that calls go to, apparently) later, I left, having been offered simply an apology and a promised follow up call the next day. Shockingly enough, never did get that call.It doesn’t give you a whole lot of faith that management would respond effectively and quickly if something were to go wrong during the rental period.
This place is awful! They have taken away every amenity we pay for yet no refund?? Isnt that theft? I would avoid it like itll give you VD.Its important to note that the people who wrote those 5 star reviews were given a gift card in exchange for it. Pretty shady, eh?
The level of service that I get from Aisha in the management office makes this complex worth it. Rarely do you find such customer service and commitment to excellence. Aisha has solved any minor thought I had before they became a problem. I recommend moving here....
Management has two personalities. When you are looking and first move in management will do anything for you. Their only focus is filling the apartments. After you move in you are the red headed step child, management could care less about the residents. They constantly send out passive aggressive emails to all residents, close the pool in the middle of summer (but failed to have it open for Memorial Day because of lack of initative to have the county inspect the pool). The gates are rarely ever closed, but when they are closed they never work, so you are stuck looking at your apartment from a distance. If you have a dog I hope your dog knows how to go on the asphalt, because that is where they keep the dog station, although there is a huge grassy area in the middle of all of the apartments. If you do need help from the management team do not hold your breath on anything to get done. Couple of examples.. took 2 months after I moved in for them to provide me with a new washer, bedroom window leaks when it rains but management says they can’t do anything in the rain and can’t find a leak when it’s not raining (not a window expert but I believe it’s kind of hard to find a water leak with no water), above apartments water line busted, maintenance did nothing to fix the water damage to the light fixture and ceiling. At this point I try to avoid talking to management and just complain to everyone else. Also, they advertise valet trash, but this is only relevant to people who enjoy taking their trash out at 6 am on random day when you luckily stumble upon the trash cans outside your apartment. That’s all for now.
What a great change in the office. I came in today, I was greeted with smiles and warm welcoming. I will be renewing my lease come Dec.
Perfect location, stainless steel appliances, and a beautiful view from my balcony. Staff were very kind and helpful to me during my move-in process. I love my apartment!
I have had a wonderful experience at The Stratford thus far. I am currently in my second lease and I couldnt be happier. I had a small issue with my refrigerator and Aisha had a great sense of urgency with taking care of it. The rest of the staff, including the Property Manager Cierra, is very fast, fun and friendly and I can tell they really enjoy what they do. This is a beautiful community and I will probably be renewing my lease again next year.
Great social apartment complex. The pool scene is fun and lively during the summer. Staff is friendly and office hours are appropriate. The maintenance team addresses issues quickly and properly.
Dad has been here for three years in July it came along way especially since hector and Ashly took over ! This place really looks inside and out like a new place I am happy 😊 I can say this place treats you like family and I havent had many major issues since the new management has taken over . Clean more modern and maintenance is better as well we will be renewing our lease
I moved in to The Stratford because the office staff made me feel like I was home the second I walked in the door. Aisha Mondesir was the most helpful sales associate I have ever encountered. The complex is quiet and friendly. Im actually looking forward to my stay here.
Now let’s discuss the roach infestation. I’m such a clean person and it just irritates me to see all the roaches just crawling out of every corner. We see them while I’m in the shower, my kitchen cabinets and pantry, behind the refrigerator, my dogs bowls of food and water and the breezeways, stairways and parking lot.Would you like to live in a property the roaches and other insects are a problem? At first I couldn’t wait to move in, the community looked like something I wanted to call home but sadly it’s not. this community has gone down.
Ive been a resident here at the Stratford Apartments going on my 3rd year. Its located in a nice area and convenient to I-285 & GA400. Ive seen quite a few changes for the good since Ive been here and I have to say that Im so very pleased.Ive gone through many life changes as well and the Stratford team has been there for me every step of the way. I have to say that Im especially thankful for Aisha for all the help that she has given me through all of the changes that Ive gone through including helping me in finding the best new location for me in the complex. She helped make my move go so much smoother than moves typically go.Id say that if youre looking for a place to lay your head, try the Stratford and make sure you ask for Aisha. :)
Ayeisha is awesome. She made our move here seamless and continues to offer us support whenever we need it. The apartment is centrally located to all major roadways and pretty much everything I need is within ten minutes from home.
I absolutely love my apartment! The staff here is very nice and very helpful! Ive enjoyed my stay here and will be staying for another year. Aisha is great!
These apartments are beautiful!! I worked really close with Patrice and she got me taken care of quickly!! I would recommend this community to my friends. :-)
This place is extremely unprofessional. They NEVER answer the phone!!! and whenever they do. The manager is not there. They need a complete staff makeover. I would give this place zero stars if I could.
Have been very impressed since living here. Staff accommodates requests promptly and maintenance is on the ball with repairs. Highly recommended!
The pool is closed. Management is not giving a time frame for it to be opened. These issues should have been dealt with during fall and winter while the pool was closed. Very interesting that the website shows a pool but it cannot be used. Maintenance issues on individual apartments do not seem to be a priority taking months to be fixed. More interested in fixing up empty apartments than taking care of those that are already under lease.
The Sales Manager Aisha, is EXCELLENT! I love it when I can ask a question and I dont have to wait for an answer, I love that Aisha is informative, knowledgeable, and is in tune with the property! If you should have a need for a place see AISHA!
I have been a resident for over 2 years now. The staff has been very helpful, and Ive not had any issues. Solid bang for your buck in terms of pricing.
This apartment complex is the ABSOLUTE WORST. I have lived here to long to share and it PAINS ME to even give them a star because they deserve none. The communication between renters and management is lack of sub par. I got a call at 8:30am this morning tell me that workers need to go into my unit because the unit below me is having a leak. I gave access and called back at 11:30 for an update. The manager, Tellys answered and I asked for a status update, his response I dont know. That is SUPER reassuring to a renter who is at work looking to know what the status of the leak is and he doesnt know. It gets better. I began (emphasis began) to call at 2:30pm for another update since Tellys, did not know the status at 11:30am. It took me 37 times to call, that is right 3-7, thirty-seven, 37 calls to before I FINALLY had someone answer me. When Marie did answer, I again, asked her of the status and she did not know. So, who the hell knows anything in this complex? Not the management, that is for sure. In addition, Marie decided to get feisty and raised her voice on the phone with me telling me that the manager is the head of the maintenance. SO SORRY I WANTED TO MAKE SURE MY BELONGINGS WERE OKAY. So just when you think they are cutting corners with their management staff, they are also cutting staffing corners on their maintenance team. I dont even have room to continue my disgust for this complex over: paying $35/month to walk your own trash down the stairs and to the trash, restrictions on the pool when the management doesnt even come to the office on the weekends, falsely accusing me of owning a dog when I dont, making sure the gates never work, trying to re-caulk my tub 4 different times because the maintenance team did not use the right caulking...4 different times (I just gave up) & PLEASE dont even ask them for favors - I could have saved them $1k if I moved out early. Tellys offered to cut my cancellation notice of 2 months into 1 while paying the month I still owed. I said, why I dont I live here one more month so you can have my money and then dont charge me for my prorated rent of $650? He said, we cant do that. Oh, oh really Tellys, but you can afford to loose $1K? Your math makes TOTAL sense.Needless to say, do yourself a favor a pay the little extra to NEVER live here.
The new improvements they are doing to the place looks great! But even better is the resident service. Aisha in the office is beyond accommodating and always friendly, she was not only great before move in but even since move in. So refreshing to have great customer service these days!! #happyresident
Tellys at the front office has greatly helped me move in and feel welcomed. All and every maintenance issues have been resolved without any hiccups or concernsExcellent apartment experience so far
The renovations that they are doing are awesome!! Aisha in the leasing office is super nice. I would recommend this property to anyone that wants an great location, especially for the price
Roach galore, perfect if you love bugs crawling on you.I know what youre thinking, the location is perfect and the rent is reasonable, right? Dont do this, seriously. I dont know how the previous management company was, but TriBridge Residential is just god awful. Where to start with my experience, hm...first of all the place is filthy. The gated community aspect should not even be considered if it is always open, all times of the day. The apartment complex smells very old and woodsy like a detention center, according to my Mover Helpers. Also, the grounds are not kept up.They have a trash pickup service, that left residents unsatisfied...therefore, they have resorted to dumping their trash bags around the complex since there is only one large dumpster in an obscure location. Lets see, I moved in on a Saturday morning and was greeted with a wide range of roaches that emerged couple hours once I settled in, and just got worse from there on out. I recall coming across 4 roaches within one hour-all different shapes, sizes, and colors-this apartment is clearly infested. Im not familiar with roach behavior, but I found it extremely alarming how they were just casually strolling through the apartment in broad daylight like you must be new here? Also, the A/C unit was broken when I moved in...and got exponentially worse by Sunday. On Sunday, I put in an emergency work order with maintenance (b/c it was 80 degrees outside). They came hours later, and he could not fix the issue after hours of trying. Eventually, he installed an old window unit that did not even properly fit the window. So by Sunday night, I sat on my bed terrified to go to sleep. I felt like every corner I looked, I saw a roach walking by. I saw one come too close for comfort, and I packed a to-go bag to cry & sleep in my car. I was so excited about getting my first apartment solo in the perfect neighborhood, and had my dreams shattered. I pleaded for a refund from them, and I moved out 4 days later…after throwing out half my stuff terrified that they would have those filthy bugs with them. I will say that Danielle (Property Manager) tried to accommodate me, but I just could not stay there. I was traumatized.
No one ever answers the office phone. They also have office closed during business hours and you can clearly see staff inside doing nothing ! They do not care about the commmity its really just a job that theyre not good at.To management:Please fire your employees and get people that actually care .
I absolutely love these apartments. The location is awesome, its so close to Buckhead! I love the ladies in the leasing office, they are very helpful. Aisha always has a smile on her face. I will be staying here until I purchase a home.
Run for the hills unless you want to live with Roaches! I was told that Palmetto bugs are normal in GA. Well I know the difference between them and a cockroach. Which Ive seen in the units and halls. Management is very slow to fix things (a door hung on its hinges for days) grounds arent t kept well and people dont pick up after their dogs! I called about bugs and repairs went unanswered for weeks. Over it! Its not worth the headache! Id pay more for peace of mind!
I have lived at The Stratford for a few months now, and while my apartment is comfortable and affordable, I feel safe in the community, and maintenance staff are responsive and prompt, I am disinclined to renew my lease when the time comes next year. There has been some back and forth between myself and the front office staff regarding a package that I was expecting a month ago and that I was continually told had not been delivered, even though tracking info and representatives from USPS verified that it had been delivered and signed for. Yesterday, I received an email from The Stratford advising that I had a package in the mail room that had been there for so long that if I did not come pick it up soon, it would be returned to the sender. Sure enough, it was my missing package, the contents of which I already re-bought because I had been under the impression for over a month that the package had not been delivered and was lost. I called The Stratford, offered to present the receipts and tracking info for the package and its contents, and requested reimbursement or a credit to my account, as they were the ones who signed for the mail the day that the package was first delivered and then told me it was not there; however, I learned via an email today that the employees that I first spoke with about the package were temps and that messages that I sent via the online resident portal about the package simply didnt go through, so it is something that is out of [The Stratfords] control. These strike me as convenient excuses for The Stratford to avoid taking responsibility for or being accountable to its residents; I no longer trust The Stratford to handle my purchases and belongings in the front office or in the mail room in a professional, competent manner, and I am discouraged that my residency in this community is off to such a mediocre, if not disappointing, start.
Awesome experience.Located in a very nice area. We have not a had an issue with loud neighbors or anything crazy. We have a son and he loves it here. Family friendly place and its near the major highways so thats a plus. We love our apartment, we love the space we have. It also came with a washer and dryer so that was a big yes for us. We have new appliciances as well and the fire place was big for me. I would recommend this apartment for anyone who is looking for a nice place quiet friendly place that located in a good area.
If I could give 0 stars I would. From the beginning we have had issues with half of the electrical outlets not working and maintenance still has not corrected the issue along with numerous other things.Since September there has been issues with mold and they “fixed” the issue by spraying bleach on the ceiling. Leasing staff stated that many apartments were having the same issue and that our windows will need to be sealed. Did that happen? Of course not! Late November, my small daughter had to be treated for black mold exposure. Instead of doing what they said they would do, seal the windows, they let the issue become worse and now it’s affecting my health but more importantly my daughter’s health. What really lead me to write this review is the fact that we have not had actual hot water since Wednesday 12/5. We followed up with the office Thursday 12/6 and were told that there were five tenants in front of us and that maintenance will get to when it can. Maintenance marked our work order as completed on Friday 12/7 but here we are still will no hot water and now the heat is blowing out COLD air. It’s always an excuse with the leasing staff. Instead of doing their due deligence by fixing the issue the first time, they will find any way to do the bare minimum. Maintenance is extremely slow with working orders and this company does not value their tenants’ safety nor health. There have been plenty of times where I’ve let the staff know that I am currently undergoing treatment for a serious health condition along with having a small child so I feel that it would have been in everyone’s best interest to correct and eradicate the mold issue, but nope. The leasing staff likes to advertise that this a secured property but the gates are hardly ever closed and the doors by the access stairwell are never locked. The first time I brought this to a leasing staff’s attention I was told, “Oh well, just try to be aware of your surroundings...”. Give me a freaking break!I can’t wait for this lease to be up and hopefully with this mold situation it happens sooner rather than later. At this point, I’ve already contacted their corporate office and the next step will be taking legal action.Ridiculous.
I just signed a lease with Aisha, one of the sales managers. She is fantastic to work with! Not one call or email has gone unanswered, excellent customer service!!
DONT DO IT!! Unless you are looking to be placed in an unfinished and uncleaned apartment bc the night before youre supposed to move in they tell you yours is no longer avail or you want to waste time and money.. And be lied too about everything from management.. Then go for it! But honestly motel 6 is might be better...
I was a future resident but thank God Im out and just fighting to get my refund back. They never answer the phone or return calls. Ashley is nice and Hector appears to be also but they never call back. They are late getting into the office and I was a future approved resident. Even though they didnt answer or return my calls they fault me for not requesting refund on time. They didnt even take my deposit until after 3 days so technically the contract is void but Hector refuses. They walked me and my guest through an apartment that had water damaged and yellow mold on base boards. I hope people read the reviews because it appears that everyone especially their resident experience the same issues with never being able to reach the office and the customer service line will supposedly leave message and email them but they deny ever getting notified. Run as fast as you can before you begin!!!
PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NOT GO FOR THIS APARTMENT.I am giving it 1 star because I cannot give anything less or negative. Apply at your own risk.Heres what happened to me:I applied for an apartment on April 17 for a move in date of June 9th. I was shown an A2 floor plan and promised an A2 apartment (wherein they said the apartment will have a fireplace and microwave oven). I signed the lease (I still have a copy of it) and was excited about moving in within 2 months. On June 3rd, I called in the apartment to ask when I can come by and complete the final formalities before moving in, during which they said that the promised apartment was not available and will get back to me with an alternative. I did not hear back for a good 5 hours, and I walked into their office to check the status. I was then told that I will have to pay the rent I was supposed to give for the A2 apartment, but I will be given the A1 floor plan.Points that Id like to make now:1. In such a situation, usually the property management must apologize and work towards an amicable solution i.e. offer a smaller apartment for lower price if the promised (bigger) apartment is not available anymore OR refund the app fee. However, I was told that it was not their fault and they will treat me as a new applicant who is applying for an apartment on June 3rd, and will only offer the prevailing rates.2. If they cannot give me an apartment they promised me, they must simply agree to refund my app fee and let me go. They will not refund my app fee and they will also not give me the apartment I had applied for.I am still searching for apartments as my current property management company has been kind enough to extend my lease by two days.Bottom line: BE PREPARED TO LOSE MONEY AND TO BE TREATED DISRESPECTFULLY. The only good part is that it is in a convenient location and the rents are good, but there is no guarantee that you may get the apartment and amenities you are promised.
I thought these apartments were so cute. Then they took over the cable. I had Comcast Triple Play. they cancelled that and told me that I had to pay $99 just for basic cable to the apartment complex. No phone or internet. during the lease signing I asked if there was any additional bills. I was told just a $40 water bill. She lied it was an extra $100 for the power in the building we actually lived, trash, and water. There was a tenant living next to me that was using the power outlet in the hallway. I notified management and I got no response. When it was time to move they wanted to charge me $400 for an old Roper washer and dryer set. I used my own that was brand new. They found the paper work and excused that. The whole management team and the maintenance manager was fired so they took my deposit and charged me for an apartment that was painted before I moved in. The manager that leased it to me actually used the great paint job as a selling point. Now I found that they put the additional money for repainting the apartment on my credit report. The manager Tara was rude and never returned my phone calls. The last time I talked to her, she was very nasty and said that since the paperwork was not in their procession and no one was there to verify that I did not paint the apartment then I had to pay for it. Now I have to pay the balance to clear my credit. Never again will I rent from them or their management group.
I moved in at the beginning of June and have had nothing but problems from management to maintenance. The gate is always broken. I most definitely will not be renewing my lease and thinking about breaking it. Beautiful renovations but not worth the constant headache.
If you scroll down the reviews, youll notice that 7 months ago before the complex was taken by Tribridge Residential things were good.I would not recommend anyone to move in to these apartments. Heres a list of reasons of why you need to stay away from here.1- There are practically no amenities. The pool has been closed due to not passing inspection. The hot tub has been covered with spray painted plywood and roped off. The courtyard is completely chained off. The gym needs a major renovation and it is tiny. The game room is a joke.2- This is not a safe area. My car was scratched at the parking lot. The gate never works but yet they will tell you this is a gated community. You can always smell the aroma of marijuana in the hallways and elevator. The police has received multiple domestic calls for this complex. Have I mentioned how often we see the fire department coming to shut off the fire alarm?3- Management can never give you a straight answer. It is always someone elses fault. They do not know how to own up to their mistakes. I love their I dont know what to tell you responses.4- Oh the roaches! You better get used to these unwelcome guests. Apparently pest control is included in our rent, but they must not be that efficient.5- Work orders take weeks to get resolved. So patience must be one of your virtues. To summarize the above, please do not consider Stratford Apartments for your next place to live.
Jennifer is awesome to work with. She is always courteous and friendly. Ask for Jennifer!
Office staff, is awesome. Aisha is always very friendly and kind. The location is fabulous and the price is great for this area!
Patrice is awesome. She was so knowledgable and passionate about the community. Thanks for your help.
The new staff here is horrible. The manager is extremely rude, does not own up to anything and when they lost my rent check two months in a row she said it was my fault because my bank isnt compatible with their software at corporate. I have no idea why that is my fault or even my issue. The place is under construction so some mess is to be expected but they do not take care of the trash. There used to be trash bins out twice a week, now they are never out. I have requested pest control a couple times and nobody showed up. When i asked why they said they forgot. The pool was closed a couple weeks ago because they failed the inspection. The main door to the building i live hasnt worked correctly since i moved in. They say that there is a bbq area where we can use grills but they havent worked in a couple years i guess and hot tub is cover with wood. In the lease it says that we pay for those amenities but they are not offered. The Gym is a joke as well as the game room that only has a pool table that is garbage. They also have some deal with comcast so that is your only choice and offer is horrible. They charge $40 a month for garbage and a admin fee. When i moved in the carpet was dirty, the bathroom hadnt been cleaned, the kitchen was still dirty and smelt horrible. Most of the lights in the parking lot dont work and the gate to get in are always broke.Pros- They allow dogs
DO NOT LIVE HERE! I repeat: DO NOT LIVE HERE. This is the most unprofessional & lazy staff I have ever seen & ive lived in several different apartment complexes! They dont ever answer the phone, they dont care about fixing you maintenance issues (even when they are urgent!) I am NEVER a person to complain but this complex needs to be reported to the state because they allow their residents to live in unsafe/unsanitary conditions! Its absolutely disturbing as to how I have been treated. Also, dont call their corporate office because you wont get a call back. No one should ever lease from here or from any tribridge residential properties!
This was the worst rental experience I have ever had. $299 application fee, stupid expensive. I have a 780 credit score and I was charged another $300 on top of that when I moved in as a deposit. $600 to move in! Did I get any of my deposit back? No! Im seriously OCD and they said the appliances werent cleaned...yea right I took pictures. I was suppose to get the carpets cleaned (which are crap). Doesnt say anywhere on the lease about the carpets by the way. The gates frequently malfunction and my car was damaged to the tune of $1700 when the gate was off its timing and closed as I was going through it. Of course the security cameras in my secure luxury complex werent working so thy couldnt confirm the malfunction and the property manager Lisa said she spoke to a resident that told her a delivery truck hit the gate and set it off its timing. But of course the cameras didnt work so I had nothing to go off of to go after the mystery delivery truck. They told me to use my insurance and they could do a subrogation. You think not having properly functioning security equipment would automatically make them liable. It took me 3 weeks to get a hold of their insurance company to discuss this. Once I finally did she called back and said they werent liable because they didnt know the gate was broken! Huh? Since when does ignorance absolve you of liability? The maintenance guy I called when I initially reported the malfunction told me that this happens with the gate all the time. So I paid my $500 deductible and vowed I wouldnt live there past a year. Besides that, residents blast music from the hot tub/pool all hours of the night. I was told every time I had a noise complaint I needed to call 911! How about you take some initiative and resolve issues and get some serious property management! I had to call 911 at least 5 times and was woken up almost nightly. Its roach infested and broke down as hell! Cabinets and bathrooms are garbage. The trash is disgusting and people leave trash bags all over the parking lots. No valet trash as advertised. The bundled utilities are a horrible deal especially if you are single in a 1 bedroom. The hot tub didnt even work for the first 4 months I was there. Between $300 application fee, $300 deposit and the $500 deductible I had to pay to get my car fixed from their crappy gates I could have lived in a much nicer place. Completely so management, no security, and no luxury. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
First of all if I could give this place negative stars I would, this would be fair but unfortunately I can’t. Beside there being mold on every window in a so called “RENOVATED APARTMENT” the windows are the original since they build this place their filthy and all they do to fix is spray paint over (the only solution they ever have is to cover it up)....Crazy roach infestation in this complex every day I kill over 5 roaches and it just gets worse. The “RENOVATED BATHROOM” is just painted over with an ancient shower head and the original bathtub it seems because they just painted over it, by the 2nd month of me living here it started to rip apart and mold was under the paint. There’s literally so many issues with this place it’s uncomfortable to live in and the staff refuses to help they just “fix” things by covering it with paint or replacing with another used machine.PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND WELL BEING DO NOT RENT AN APARTMENT HERE!!THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE RESIDENT ALL THEY WANT IS TO FILL UP ALL THE APARTMENTS......
I love these apartments, and you cant beat the location. Look for Aisha in the leasing office, shes the best.
Ayisha is the best! She made my move in very easy and is always available for asssistance.Lovely place to live.
1year resident-6 monthsNo hot tub... Wish I cold post a photo of the empty rotting hole in the ground that was once a hot tub. Also wish I could post the rotting - non functioning grillsAnd the pool the county inspector RED FLAGGED.... ClosedWish I could post photos of the chain locks keeping all residents from access to PAID FOR Amenities that have not worked in months and management refused to update residents on status. ...
Great service, clean and appealing facilities. Would recommend.
HORRIBLE CUSOTMER SERVICE ALL THE WAY FROM THE FRONT OFFICE TO EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE...what’s the purpose of paying rent when no one can assist you if you get locked out.. 101 problems since I’ve moved in.
I am very happy with the office staff, Aisha, Lisa and everyone is exceptionally courteous and professional.
Definitely not a great a place to live as I wouldve expected more from this complex based upon the location and my initial interaction with Michelle (very nice lady btw). On the other, everything everyone else has said is true bc I have experienced similar issues. From the bugs, lack of knowledge from the maintenance crew, outside trash, the grounds not being well kept. Theyre main excuse when confronted on such excuse is that they recently took over this complex in the beginning of the year so theyre just now getting to a lot the issues left from previous management. My response to that is for how long is that a valid excuse especially since thats not my issue. Another issue for me has been the lack of follow from the office in regards to the foyer area in my apartment continuously flooding from other peoples above apartment. This issue has been going on basically since I moved in the end of May of this year, which is why Im leaving.
TLDR***THIS PLACE IS ACTIVELY FALSE ADVERTISING AND OFFICE STAFF DOES NOT TAKE COMPLAINTS SERIOUSLY.I have been living in this apartment complex since September 2016, Ive lived in MANY apartments and this is the first time I have felt the need to make a review. I will start with the decent things-the apartment itself is in decent condition. I have no problems with bugs or anything like that. Maintenance doesnt seem to respond to online requests, but whenever I call the office and put in a maintenance request through them, they show up within a day or two and fix things within a timely manner. The maintenance people are also pretty nice so I appreciate that. Those are the decent things. Now I will tell you why you should NOT move here. While the office staff is nice (they have never been outwardly rude to me) they DO NOT take complaints seriously. I have been complaining about ridiculous noise issues that I have been experiencing since Ive moved here, and as of this date, nothing has been done. In fact, before they would even lift ONE finger to help me, they told me to call the police, call animal control (the person has a loud dog) or physically go and confront the person. So...I pay rent so that they can tell me to do THEIR job. When a tenant is in violation of the lease, it is THEIR job to correct it. Not to shuffle responsibility to tenants. I have called multiple times, I have had lengthy meetings with management, and nothing has been done.Just to give you an idea so that you know I have reason to complain, here is an excerpt of what I wrote in my complaint to them of the noise I experience on a DAILY basis: 1) Hammering at night and early morning 2) Walking extremely loudly (to the point that I can hear lamps jingling from the force) 3) Vacuuming AT NIGHT 4) Banging things on the floor 5) Loud Sex between 2 and 6am 6) Dog howling for HOURS between 7-8am like clockwork, sometimes at random times during the day and night as well. Basically, they are consistently making noise that is disruptive to my living conditions. While I am writing this they are hammering, right now. Also they are actively false advertising. At the time of writing this message, they still have on their website that they provide valet trash, THEY DO NOT. That was one of the things I noted when I was apartment hunting because I like having valet trash. I have lived in a few places that actually DO have it. Valet trash means that people come to your door and pick it up, that is NOT the case here. They put trash bins outside twice a week and you have to walk to to the trash and put them away. There is only ONE main trash bin on one side of the complex, and I wasnt even told about that by the office, I had to ask around to figure that out. It seems that they tell no one about that main trash bin, and that is most likely why people put their trash outside near the trees. Ive seen a few complaints about trash everywhere. I think its because OFFICE STAFF does a poor job of communicating where you can put your trash if you miss the window. Next, at the time of writing this message it says on their voicemail that you can call a courtesy officer. THEY DONT HAVE ONE. I have also lived places where there was a courtesy officer, its nice to have. But, I must say my main issue is the noise complaints, and because The Stratford Management doesnt want to deal with it, ill be taking this up the ladder and contacting the corporate office which is Tribridge. Lets see if I cant get something done now.Ive noticed that whenever they get a bad review here, Management responds, I find that interesting. I would invite anyone from management to detail anything in this message that is untrue. I gave them MULTIPLE opportunities to correct this on their own. If they choose to finally correct this issue, I will be more than happy to update my review to reflect that.
The Stratford is a decent place to live.Pros - great customer service (i order a lot of packages), friendly staff (I asked the manager to leave some lights on for the billiards room and she has/she worked on me with my rent check), maintenance came when I needed them, cheap enough, close enough to everything you need, short trip to get on 400.Cons- I can hear the kids run around upstairs, theyll make you pay $100 for cable and laggy internet which is overpriced for what you get, theyll tick and tack you with fees, the gym is from the 50s.What do you expect though. Lets not get carried away with any sense of altruism. Its a cheaper apartment complex. Thats their niche. Ive enjoyed it here.
Paid the $100 application fee to hold aparentment, when their third party vendor for background checks screwed up and declined my application at first then realized their screw up and said I was a viable candidate the apartment complex gave away my reserved apartment and wont refund my 100 dollars. Be wary of this scam of an apartment complex. In response to their slapdick answer below, I have called over 15 times both the apartment complex and Tribridge Management, no return phone calls from either. When you know you are wrong you cowardly hide.
Just wanted info on the apartments and whoever sits in the desk directly in front entrance (young black man) honestly looked like he didnt want to be there and was busy in his phone. I walked in and he literally looked at me and continue to be in his phone as I was asking about info for the apartments.. first thing he asked was my budget and even though it was a stretch I really like the layout of the place and was willing to go above my limit if it as worth it and not so much of a stretch (which it wasnt). He continue to be in his phone and said in a stale tone.. sorry and that your price range is lower than where we start leasing. I was really like wow. I didnt even consider to actually tour the place or even care to... and walked out. I didnt want to e going on a tour with type of vibe or even consider living anywhere knowing that the staff cant even make you feel welcomed when you are just a potential resisdent. Honestly regardless of price range... or how nice they seemed...you cant lease to anyone representing your community like that. I will take my money else where
Fairly friendly service but very unorganized. Were only living here for 4 months and if it wasnt for that I would be extremely upset with the service here. we put in maintenance request on June 8th after spending 2 weeks here and figuring out what needed work in our apt. After a month of not seeing or hearing from the complex I had to go into the office and complain to get maintenance to come fix things and as of today (July 14) many of my reported things remain broken. just the other day our water heater started leaking and it took 5 unanswered calls and a digital maintenance request to get someone to come look at it. Even when they do come by there is no call or anything to notify us that they will be coming by or when they will be coming by. Its extremely frustrating when a plumber shows up at 10:30 at night when you about to go to bed because no one told you he would be by that late and it was a waste of both mine and the plumbers time. Also, we couldnt reschedule directly with the plumber so weve called the office another 6 times today and someone finally picked up on the last call but wasnt able to do anything and we still dont know what is going on 2 hours later. Please save yourself the time and trouble of living here our rent for a 2 bed 1 bath was $1,500 last month with pretty much everything included and this apartment is worth so much less.
I have only lived here 2 and a half months and have already experienced a lot of problems. There are more water problems than you can count, there has been 3 times already where I havent been able to take a shower before work because for one reason or another they had to shut off the water. Most recent issue involves a leaky pipe where there wasnt even enough water pressure to take a shower, that is actually still pending a fix. Also, they force you to get Comcast Xfinity, meaning you have to pay for it no matter what through the apartment. On top of that we pay $99 for Comcast (basic cable and internet), while Comcast actually has a deal thats been going on for awhile with the same basic cable and internet for a cheaper price, right now you can actually get faster internet and the same channels for only $60/month. Thats a big difference! They also like to tack on admin fees every month, and pest control fees every month. Its really funny because they dont do any kind of pest control whatsoever. I have found a few roaches since Ive moved in, and its winter, and I live on the 4th floor...so I dont know how bad it will get in the summer. Mind you, I deep clean my apartment every two weeks and there isnt a crumb in site. It would be more understandable if I wasnt a clean person. Also, we pay an expensive trash pick up fee every month that doesnt make sense because they dont pick up our trash. They put out trash bins twice a week and there is only one dumpster at the end of one side of the complex. Our apartment is currently running on emergency heat, which costs more in utilities because the previous management didnt install HVAC correctly and our unit is old. While I dont blame new management for this, they did tell me our unit would be replaced as soon as the temp was at least 66 degrees outside. They told me this in early December, it is now almost Feb. and there has been weeks during that time when it was warm enough, but they never replaced our unit with a new one.Another thing, when you do put in work orders, they dont ever give you notice of what day/time theyre coming (which btw, at every apartment complex, they are required to give notice). So having a dog, I have to put him away before they come, but since they do not communicate when they are coming, my dog has been out when they have tried to come, but would not come back for days/weeks after telling me they wanted my dog put away. Now, I am not going to confine my large dog to a small bedroom for weeks while I am gone, and guess when maintenance might show up. They will also put the blame on you if a maintenance request was not able to be completed because of their lack of communication. They do not maintain their grounds either, theres always trash around the parking lot and the indoor hallways and elevators always smell awful. Also, while I understand the need to pick up after your dog, they do not provide you with any way to dispose of your dogs waste unless you walk half a mile to the other end of the complex where there is a small dog park with a waste bin right outside of it. So, am I supposed to take my dogs waste all the way to the dumpster in the obscure location on the other end of the complex or the dog waste bin half a mile down on the other end of the complex? They threaten fines for not picking up after your dog, but do not give you a way to dispose of waste. Makes sense. When I first came to see this place and our apartment, everything seemed great and I was excited to move in. While this place is tolerable at the moment, I would not recommend it to future renters. I lived in crappier college apartments that didnt have ANY water issues and lots of extra fees that arent even utilized.**Update: the manager of the complex sent me an email yesterday saying he would get pest control to come out with spray our apartment, I replied stating that I would definitely want that to be done. No reply, and pest control didnt come out. These replies from management are just for show, they dont actually fix problems.
Great management, clean, fast maintenance responses, great area etc.
