I just wanted to take this moment to extend my gratitude and thanks to Brian, who has been a person of integrity, care, and concern for all residents, including me, while here at City View.I’ve been a resident here since 2016 and I’ve only brought attention to less than a handful of real issues over the years; however, each and every time I’ve had to address an issue, it was always handled professionally and with expeditious action. On the other hand, I just wanted to personally thank Brian for taking action to accommodate a minor issue I just mentioned in our normal friendly conversation we normally have in passing throughout any day of the week.I did not make the minor issue on a formal level, and that’s what makes this note so meaningful and special. Action was taken to accommodate me with a door mat that I did not request. Brain has always stood for what’s right and conducted his business in a professional manner. This demonstrates the importance of knowing the CV residents like he does and I appreciate it.
The office staff is great and welcoming. The complex is beautiful. It has a 24 hour gym, pool and a sky bar. The view is nice you can see the city and the location is even better. I’m love my new apartment
Move in process was easy. The leasing office was very responsive to my needs. Had a minor maintenance issue and was taken care of the next day. The place is very quite. This is great so far. Thank you.
I would like to say we just moved in and everything has been perfect so far! Diana was amazing and super friendly! She made the move in process a breeze! We love our new apartment and all the amenities they offer here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
I just moved into my new home and Diana has been so helpful and responsive to all of my questions. I absolutely love it here. The amenities are amazing, and the apartment itself is perfect for our needs. I love the indoor/outdoor style of the halls in the mid rise apartment, as well as the location and view from my apartment. Not only do I picture myself staying here for as long as I can, but CVV has definitely upped my standards!
Been here since January and so far so good. Nice quiet and well managed community from what I can see so far. Been here since January 21
I moved in a couple of weeks ago, and I absolutely love it. The office staff got me approved within a couple of days. They are kind, courteous and responsive. The property is beautiful. The common areas, pool,, state of the art gym, and sky deck are exquisite. Another plus is the enhanced security. You can’t enter any area of the property without a key fob. I feel very safe as a single mom. The location is awesome,, the neighbors are friendly, and I just love the vibe. I highly recommend City View at Vinings!
I lived here from January 2019 until April 2021. I loved it. I had a spacious single bedroom unit and the look, amenities, and location was literally everything. The Property Manager, Tracy, is so nice! You’ll see in reviews that there were some alarm issues that led to faulty fire alarms blasting through the entire building in the middle of the night. That’s all true. But, I can’t say it ruined nor put a dent in my experience. As an engineer, I understand that systems don’t always run like they’re designed to. The issue was resolved and the leasing office would send out emails distinguishing between a faulty alarm and one caused by a tenant. If you’re thinking of living here, you can’t go wrong. Really.
I am current resident at City View Vinings. I wanted to acknowledge the management staff for being professional and personable.I relocated to Atlanta four years ago and by far this has been my best apartment community experience I have lived at so far.Thank you Diana, Robin and Tracy for making my transition feel like home!Derrick G
Very nice community, staff was courteous and accessible. The application / move in process was easy. The location is great and the amenities are even better. Great place to live. A little pricey but worth it.
The customer service is definitely here. I was supposed to move in June but unfortunately had to cancel my move in until after August. I will definitely be re-applying! Thank you so much to Diana for being so patient with us and helping us figure out what’s best without being so pushy!
Diana made my move-in process so smooth and easy! She was very helpful and very patient with all of my questions. Im loving the place so far! I feel very secure in the complex.
This place is great so far, almost a year into it and will renew, Management seems to have completely changed and everything since has been strict since in regards to trash, parking and etc. Guess it might be a good thing so I am hoping that all those issues will now get better. Leasing staff and Maintenance are a pleasure to work with. Only downside so far is they only have one leasing Consultant and it seems be hard at times to be able to reach her but I have come to find that email is best. The property itself is beautiful and the atmosphere is great. Great location and great people.
Awesome place! Leasing office is quick to respond!
I really want to thank Diana for being so patient with me and helping me throughout my whole move in process. I must have called, emailed and personally gone in numerous times and she was super helpful every single time. The Community is very friendly, grounds and breezeways are clean and the sky lounge is amazing with great outdoor views. Only downside is there is no Wifi. I moved in about a month ago and I was only able to work out of the business office once so that is a bummer but the only downside so far. Hopefully this issue gets resolved soon!
I have recently moved to City View, and so far, it has been a great experience. Diana at the leasing office is top-notch. She is very helpful and always provides service with a smile. The amenities are great, and each unit is well appointed.
I enjoy the facilities a lot! The common areas are beautiful and always super clean. The gym has 2 Peloton bikes and 1 stair machine which I love! In the complex the entrepreneurship spirit is in the air, it seems like everyone is doing great in business!! Weve been living here for 7 months and we definitely plan to renew our contract :)
Ms. Diana helped me a lot with everything that I didn’t know. Response is really quick, friendly and professional.
This place is AMAZING! Office staff is super helpful and kind. Maintenance gets work orders done the day of. Overall great experience.
Pros:Nice amenities. Pet friendly. Convenient location, close to Costco Kroger, Publix. Safe area.Cons:Loud neighbor. Bad service, leasing office won’t solve any problem. Visitor parking always full, call box not work. Package room always full, hard to find your package. They try to charge you everything when you leave. You need to keep every documents and email to protect yourself.
Less than zero stars. Nice apartments but the management is apathetic and security is non-existent. Do not move here if you value your possessions or want management that is responsive. Paying extra to live in an upscale complex means nothing if you are not safe and secure.
I came in today with no appointment and Diana was super kind to squeeze me in before her 1pm tour and I am super grateful as I have been very Interested in seeing a unit here but I go back home Monday. My initial impression was not so great as there was an older woman in the office being nasty so I was very hesitant because I am weary of other residents as I’ve had bad experiences but I am hoping it’s not all around! Thank you Diana!😊
So confusing when trying to enter complex thru the parking garage when the call box doesnt work.
I absolutely love being a resident of City View Vinings, the staff is amazing - both office and maintenance are so wonderful and very quick to respond to any request I have. I cannot say thank you to the Staff here enough for providing a quiet, clean and comfortable home!
I don’t live here but I really wanted to. I went on a tour over Halloween weekend and the lady there (whose name I unfortunately don’t remember) was amazing. She gave me a tour and quoted me that day. I loved the complex and the area and was sold on moving there.I wanted to tour the unit that I would be staying in so I called and someone told me that it was available. I drove out there on Saturday at 10 Am and the door to get in from the garage was closed, and I was also told that it was in fact not available for viewing. I was unhappy to say the least but I decided to try again 2 weeks later.I just tried to book an appartement for January 4th / end of December and was told that it was impossible to do so without me paying for the unit to be held. I called the complex and they wouldn’t work with me on changing the dates (and another complex did just that).I decided against city view just because the customer service seems to be lacking and I was afraid if I had an issue after moving in I would be more frustrated. It’s unfortunate I loved the complex and really was excited about living here.
Good atmosphere. Good location. Very helpful staff.
Not a safe place to live. Just had all 4 wheels and tires stolen off my brand new truck! I pay way too much money for this to be happening here. Crime is terrible here. Beware future renters! Wish I could give 0 stars...
So far a great place to live; however, the office almost never answers the phones.
The neighbor above us is super unrespectful and smoking at the balcony. they also make a lot of noices - playing music out loud and chatting loudly until very late (until 5 a.m.) everytime they throw a party, which is really bothering us. Already reached out to the management team but nothing changes. My bedroom was full of smoke whenever they smoke weed at the balcony. We are very disappointed by such an unrespectful neighbor. For community management team, please take some actions instead of just notifying them.----------------------------------------------------Five stars for maintenance staff:Just wanted to get want to get the chance to say thank you to our maintenance staff Jason. He has been really professional, courteous and responsive. I am really impressed by the speed and the quality of his work. He is also a detail-oriented person who would wear shoe covers without our request and clean up the environment after finishing the work.Just wanted to show our appreciation here. Keep up the good work Jason!!
I lived here on the west side of the building for over 4 years. I would have moved sooner but got busy each of the past two years and found it easier to stay.Reasons to live here:1. Location: conveniently located near I-75 and I-285. Short drive to Midtown Atlanta. Twenty minute walk to river park, 25 minute walk to Truist Park.2. Nice Units: Units are generally attractive with hard vinyl floors, big windows, big kitchen, and 95 high ceilings.3. Strong Signal: 4 bars on phone, 5 bars on mi-fi.4. Fitness Center: nice, with plenty of nautilus equipment and free weights.5. Maintenance team: truly friendly and helpful.6. Leasing Management: new as of November 2020. Seem nice -- not smug like the prior management team.Reasons not to move here:1. Cost: you pay a premium to live near Truist Park. Read Marietta Daily Journal article, Cobb Cty: A closer look at Cobbs dynamic rental market2. Club House: Dont think you can invite your friends over in the evening to watch a game on the nine TVs in the club house. No one ever does. The TV remote control is almost never available for residents to use.3. Hallways: the hallways for floors three and higher are bare concrete. Very depressing for a Luxury Apartment.4. Parking Deck: not well lit and it leaks. Residents that park their cars on the fifth level especially have to dodge drops of water when it rains.5. Fitness Center: Televisions on the wall and on the equipment dont always work.6. Noise: Apartment located at corner of two busy streets. You may have to choose between opening your window for fresh air, or closing the window to keep the street and sidewalk noise out.7. Signs and Banners: Now Leasing signs and banners are constantly up and waiving in front of the building.8. Elevators: The apartment has three elevators. The elevator manufacturer did not put its name on the elevators.9. Bathroom sink: is flat and stylish, but youll spend a full minute after you shave, splashing water around to wash down your shave stubble.
Awesome place to live
Clean nice place
I dont live here, I only had a tour with Cassidy (I think). It was a great experience. I am going to apply shortly to move in. First impressions mean everything. The office staff was lovely, acomodating, personable, prompt, etc etc.The grounds were well kept, people were friendly. There are a ton of ocmmunal spaces which I am big on. The only thing I dont like are the open hallways. I am sure it will be freezing come winter.
I’ve lived here for 2 and half years, and still really enjoy the place! I came back to this review to mention James in maintenance. James is by far the nicest and most accommodating person. He always is there quickly when I’ve needed help, and never judges me for doing something like locking myself out. He and his whole team are awesome and I couldn’t be more grateful!
I lived in City View a year and only moved due to life changes. I can not stress enough how amazing the entire staff is. The maintenance staff is super positive and genuinely cares about the residents happiness. The leasing office staff is always helpful and quick to answer and requests. All amenities are kept up and the pool is beautiful! The rooftop is super peaceful and and the gym has everything you could ever need. The apartments themselves are very up to date and provide all of the safety and serenity you you ever need. 5 stars across the board!!
We have been residents for only a few weeks but had a great experience with the staff here when exploring options. They worked with us to rush the refurbishment on the only apartment available with our desired floor plan in order to meet the closing deadline on our home. The complex is very nice and walkable for most any need that you have. Look forward to the rest of our lease term here.
I loved living in City View Vinings for the pst year. The leasing office staff is incredible and always put a smile on my face. They’re responsive to all my questions and feedback, plus they schedule fun events for the whole community. They really make you feel like you’re part of the family
This place is beautiful, the maintenance team does a great job in keeping it in tip top shape. Absolutely beautiful views of the city too. Had a few hiccups, but a shout out to Ivan who has always been willing and able to resolve them. James in maintenance is also a very helpful person. Thanks for helping me feel at home Ivan!
As a new resident, I couldn’t be happier!! From the initial tour to move in day I was sooo excited and well taken care of. Shout out to Ivan for all of his help and just genuine kindness! The property is beautiful, safe and super affordable for the area. I hope to live here for many years!
I moved to City View last summer and I love it! Alex and Kelly made me feel so welcome and it was a easy transition to my new home. They were very flexible and accommodating with my move in schedule. I was out of town and the staff allowed my Mother to tour my apartment before I moved in! The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming. I am truly a happy resident and looking forward to seeing you as a neighbor.Best Regards,JW
I’ve been here for a month now and I’m more than happy that I made this move! Maintenance is amazing and so kind going above what I request. The building hallways are kept spotless and the location is perfect.
Love City View! By far the best location in Vinings. It’s within 5 minutes from the Battery and other attractions/restaurants but slightly off the main road so noise isn’t an issue. The units themselves are spacious and beautiful.
Property is beautiful, the staff is excellent. They are very attentive to needs and very responsive to request I highly recommend it I enjoy living here it is so close to everything and the amenities are wonderful. Alex in the business office is first-rate. Ora is always available for questions and concerns that relate to first class leasing experience!!! I highly recommend that you check them out.
We just toured this apartment & the employee that assisted us was so unprofessional. The tour was horrible. She was rushing us. She only showed us one apartment & didn’t explain the details of it. She asked for our ID’s and instead of taking a picture of it like all the other complexes, she decided to leave them on her desk, face up, while we toured the apartment. I told her that doesn’t seem very safe & she replied no one will be in the office. When we came back, there was someone in the office. It was a mess. Based off that interaction, I was so uninterested in living there.
I’ve only been here about 3 weeks, but I’ve been so impressed by everything at City View so far. The office staff has been super helpful, even when some unexpected hiccups came up re: my move in process. They’ve worked with me to make the move as easy as possible, which I really appreciate!
I just moved in but this was the most stress free easy move in I think I’ve had... everyone is so friendly and the community it clean and quite ....very happy with this move....and would recommend to everyone
I love this community because its a wonderful place to live and the staff here are totally awesome! Its like a family a long way from home. In my opinion, it does not get better than this. The apartment, grounds, amenities, and all the fun times are some of the greatest of my experiences. Everything is extremely convenient and all residents are professionals and most respectful in all ways imaginable. If I ever leave this community, it will truly be a very sad day because Im treated so well, Im almost certain the benchmark established here, by the staff, will never be met again, ever. Thank you CV Team for being you. I love you all!
Stay far, far away! I moved in 2 years ago when the community first opened (under a different management company) and although its a beautiful community it could not be more poorly constructed. The walls are paper thin and it has been poorly maintained. As you can see from other reviews, the fire alarm goes off at all times of the day and night. The man above me walks like an elephant and coughs constantly. The call boxes and parking garage gate are always broken. If youre paying nearly $1,500/month in rent you should not have these types of issues. The new management company has made aesthetic changes but has done little to improve the conditions around here. I will not be renewing my lease and moving day cant come fast enough! I know certain things are to be expected with community living but this goes well beyond that. Especially at this price point.
Im giving this place 5 stars because you cant rate without giving someone a chance to correct a problem. I looked at this place in May and fell in love. I moved here from South Georgia / Florida. It was a very smooth transition. Minor complaints but the staff has handled each time. I agree about the tenants though; they do not respect anyone. The lady that lives next to me constantly slams her door (I hate spring hinges). I try to be conscious of my neighbors. Visitor parking is mostly non-existent because tenants park on the first level. Should go with assigned numbered spots to eliminate this. Kelli and the team have always been very helpful, friendly, and genuine. Id recommend this to anyone.
I moved in City View Vinings last month and its been a pleasure so far. The units are beautiful, the complex is modern and clean, the amenities are GREAT, and the prices are great for the size and area. I worked with Cassidy from touring the property all the way to move-in day and she was beyond friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Ive had one maintenance request so far, I submitted online, and they came to correct it within an hour. Im loving it here.
I came to see City View Vinings over the weekend and it was beautiful! Nice people working in the office. I felt welcome from the moment I entered. Definitely worth checking out if anyone is looking in the area.
City View Vinings wants you to be HAPPY. They reflect this attitude again & again. The office & maintenance teams are willing & helpful. The property maintenance & upkeep is phenomenal. The atmosphere is beautifully welcoming. The location is excellently located in keeping with ATL traffic patterns.
It is important to feel like youre at home- when youre at home, City View Vinings does just that, plus more! The friendly staff has made me tell my friends and family about the A+ service that I receive on the daily. Every repair has been handle with a priority, they know me by name, and they go out of their way to make sure the upkeep of the property is always reflective of the hospitality they stand on. Each staff member welcomes you with a smile and make it their pride and joy to care about your needs. If you are looking for a new home, I suggest you come see what the hype is about! I would love to have you has a neighbor.
Awesome place to live! Just renewed for my second year! Amenities are top-notch - gym open 24/7, nice pool and BBQ area to enjoy during warmer months.Management team is great and easy to work with..and maintenance is super quick in resolving service requests. Building is very new and clean. I always see maintenance team maintaining property. They host events at least 1-2 a month for residents - great way to meet neighbors and socialize. Ora, Alex, Hanadi, and Kellie are awesome and always make me feel at home!
Ive lived here for about four months and I couldnt love it more. The maintenance staff is amazing and prompt, and the front office is incredibly helpful with whatever I need. I plan to stay in this complex for a while!
I have lived at city view for 3 months now and I really cannot say enough good things about it! The property is beautiful the rooms are so modern and well deigned. The apartment complex is extremely quiet!! Alex and Kelie are the best and they always answer my questions and help me with anything that I may need, along with just being great people. Maintenance is always quick with any requests that are put in. I have never once felt unsafe living at this complex, I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone! Great location, near all of the accesses to the highways.
Went to view these apartments last week and absolutely fell in love. Beautiful amenities & apartment. Was ready to lease that day but one thing really turned me off from the property & that was the leasing agent doing the tour. She was very rude, didn’t speak to us the entire tour & acted as if she didn’t want to be there or show us the apartment. I understand we look young but we were very interested in leasing here. After being very polite to her, we decided not to even give this property a second thought. Again, loved everything about the apartment except the leasing agents attitude. She needs to be fired or retrained.
Very happy and glad I decided to move here. Love everything about it! The move-in process was beyond smooth and didnt have to stress and the staff (Cassidy) was incredible.
Moved here for over a month now. Superb location, staff is very professional and courteous. Modern style of living at an affordable price. Quiet neighborhood, clean and new. Ask for Cassidy she is very helpful and friendly.
Nice place
The view is beautiful if you live on the top floor. The pool is nice and has two grills. The fitness room is very nice. The downfall is when it rains, the water comes leaks through the patio door. There has to be a way to fix this issue.
Just to name a few things: the gate in the parking deck works about 70% of the time. Its constantly being repaired. The electric key fob system has broken 3 times in the last few months so no one can enter the building (residents with key fobs are locked out). The parking deck is full of non residents taking up parking spots, and there have been countless threats to tow cars with no action. This forces residents to park on other floors that arent theirs. The fire alarm goes off every few weeks( it is the loudest alarm I have ever heard and there is one in every unit), because of inconsiderate residents that apparently feel the need to smoke in the building at 4:30 am on a Monday (Just to name one of many incidents). Our neighbor was Air Bnbing his apartment for months with no consequence, so we had new neighbors every weekend. These things should be easy fixes, but for some reason they continue to happen. If they actually acted on all their empty threats it would probably be a much better living situation. This place is not worth the money even though the management team acts like it is Gods gift to the earth. Please dont be fooled.
The staff was able to get me in a place the same day whereas other apartments had waiting periods. This place is convenient to a bunch of good shopping, retail, and nightlife and the amenities are more than you could ever really use. As for the negative reviews? Well, read and understand a simple contract. Its not hard. After owning for the last four years the staff made the transition back into renting life a breeze.
Great office building if youre looking for a space come check it out and move in
My best friend lives here and I am beyond jealous, because these apartments are stunning
I moved in here a few weeks ago and had an issue with getting TV and Internet for my apartment. After reaching out to the leasing staff, the issue was resolved quickly. They were extremely helpful and friendly. Paul and Madison were great!! I have lives in several apartment complexes in the vinings area, and the staff at Alexan Vinings are by far the most helpful and friendliest. I am so happy I moved here!
Staff is awesome and responsive! My wife and I have lived here for just under a month, and we have nothing but praise for the leasing staff, maintenance staff, and the management team. Im not sure if the previous reviewer was just having an off day but Alex has been extremely professional, responsive, and helpful throughout the leasing and move-in process to my questions, emails, and maintenance requests. When we first applied, my wife was out of the country, but Alex patiently worked with us despite delays and time difference issues. Ive also interacted with James, who works as a maintenance officer, and he resolved all our move-in issues within a day of making them or at least calling on the same day of the request to let us know the status of the work order if it might take longer than a day to fulfill the order. Based on my experiences so far, I would recommend this apartment complex because the professionalism of the management company.
Been living at City View for a few months and I love it. You can get an apartment anywhere but customer service is priceless. Kellie, Hanadi, Alex and James are the best and always make me feel at home. Plus it helps that theres always fresh baked cookies in the office.
This is a very nice/ modern decorated luxury apartment building that could potentially be the best in the vinings/Cumberland area. There is a great front desk team along with maintenance who are very quick with resolutions to any problems. The only downfall is the security. If security was enforced a little harder and all the doors locked properly on all floors it would definitely be top notch. All in all stil a great place to live
Even though the apartment did have 6-7 false alarms in about 3 weeks, with 3 at 2am, 4am and Saturday morning, the leasing office did respond to the tenant complaint and give an apology every time. Although the management are still learning how to manage a large community, they do at least care about the feedback and try to provide more satisfactory service. However, intention and capability are two complete different things. Almost every time the management apologized, you get a new false alarm the second day making their promises sound like black humor in the end. Not even the hefty fine can save them. Besides, the property is not the best in terms of build quality (big gap between the ground and the balcony door/unit door, thin wall that has water stain after rainstorm, etc.), but my stay here was in general about right.
I must say that as a resident here at City View, I really feel like I never left home and this is attributed to one special Leasing Agent (Alex) who is always jolly and extremely helpful no matter whether is a new day or an issue that I need help on resolving. She IS A GREAT PERSON TO HAVE AS AN ASSET TO CONTINUE TO ATTRACT FUTURE RESIDENTS THAT I AM CERTAIN WILL BE AS SATISFIED AS I AM!!!
I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone looking to live in the Vinings area. I didnt have the opportunity of dealing with the previous management so I cannot comment on that. But so far, the two women in the leasing office that I have dealt with, by phone, as well as in person have been phenomenal !!!! I felt that Kellie (the manager) was extremely proffesional & helpful. The main leasing consultant Ive worked with, was a young girl by the name of Alex. I told a friend about these apartments & also recommended that she request to be helped by Alex when she goes. She then began looking online & called me back saying she noticed that the girl (Alex) I had recommended had a few mixed reviews. I then came to the site to see for myself & was appalled at some of the reviews people had left. Alex was extremely helpful, professional, and very welcoming from the moment I walked into the office. She sat down with me and went over all & any questions that I had, followed by her offering to give me a tour of the apartment(s) I was interested in. Her customer service was exceptional & I am confident that she offers that same attitude & helpfulness to anyone coming there. These are amazing apartments, with amazing staff to go along with it.
Ive lived here for quite some time now. I was a big fan of the previous property (Lincoln Property) owners and NALS, the new owners have been even more wonderful. The staff is great. The amenities are fantastic. The best part is the convenient access to 285 and 75 and all of the great local food.
Ive lived in the luxury apartment complex formerly known as Alexan Vinings for almost two years and love it. Its now City View Vinings after a wonky management transition that was smoothed over by Assistant Manager Ora. Shes absolutely wonderful, assured me that Id love the new staff and offered an amazing top floor transfer deal (that I accepted). I wanted options before renewing my lease and she provided them. After only a few months, I applaud the City View staff (that announced several impressive 2018 initiatives) for providing quality service with a smile.
I love living at Alexan Vinings. The office staff is always more than helpful and always friendly and quick to address anything I request. I made the best choice.
If you are looking for an outstanding place to live with a great professional team that provide excellent customer service but yet fun and empathetic to yours needs then this is that place for you. My wife and I have been here for 2 1/2 years and the team have been nothing but wonderful to us. When we put in work orders right away, when we made suggestions for different events for the residents they have tried to make it happened. They staff works diligently to make our stay as if we were staying on an resort.. I love ❤️ ❤️❤️ the staff her.. I am veerrry big on customer services and they truly try to go over and beyond within reason for their residents. Thank you all sooo much..
I enjoy living here! The staff is always friendly and willing to help me out and they are very prompt in fixing any matinance issues related to my place. They also have my fave coookies in the office which I indulge in dang near everyday. Never had any issues with neighbors...cool spot to live!
Woke up to a dead car battery in the parking deck the other day and Hanadi in the Leasing Office didnt hesitate to come help me jump my car. Such a nice staff - always willing to help no matter what!
Ever since I decided to relocate to Atlanta, Madison and the entire staff has made the experience as smooth and seamless as possible. Madison didnt even mind showing me the apartment via facetime since I was in another state and I really appreciated that. Everyone was happy to answer any questions that I had over the phone before I was able to come view it in person. Im happy that I decided to go with Alexan Vinings for my new home and look forward to making memories here!
I moved into this property just three months after it opened. The property management group was amazing. It truly felt like they were family which made the community more like home. The property was recently sold. The new property management group has provided subpar service in my opinion. Although I found the manager to be very kind and welcoming, the staff with whom I’ve interacted doesn’t seem to share that attitude. I’ve been told I didn’t have packages although I received delivery confirmation and was given the impression that I was perceived as annoying or difficult. I know this is just a job to the staff but to me it’s my home. I will be leaving this community at the end of my lease.
Horrible place to live. While the staff is awesome, the people that live here suck. They have no respect for their neighbors (if they even live here). There are big ass parties here EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND and smaller ones on week nights. Very disappointed. For as much as I pay in rent, I shouldnt have to deal with this bs.
I love living at City View! Hanadi helped me find my apartment and always takes care of me. Alex, Cassidy and Kellie are awesome and I’m grateful for their hospitality!
First of all, our neighbor was renting out his apartment for months with knowledge of management & nothing was done. Second of all, we are getting roaches in our apartment because there are holes in the wood. Third of all, I almost got hit leaving the parking deck because the exit gate is constantly broken & a non resident decided to go IN the exit gate almost causing a wreck. Fourth of all, fire alarms go off at least twice a month at all hours of the night. Management has caught people smoking in their apartment & clearly choose to do nothing about it. So the people breaking the lease get away with it while the rest of us suffer at their expense. I have to be at work at 6:30 AM so having fire alarms going off at 3, 4, & 5 AM IS NOT OKAY. These people need to be evicted if they are breaking the lease, that is the point of a lease. I have been very patient & not said a word about these alarms but I am fed up. Management needs to do something about it now.I don’t pay 1500 in rent to deal with these issues.
I love Kelly and staff! Yes there may be some differences while management is out, but I know they are doing the best they can. No property management is perfect I’m actually dealing with Glen Park apts for my sister and that property is the definition of terrible. I give City View a 5 because yes they do exceed expectations and they will go above and beyond for all the new and current teanants. We can’t blame management for the changes blame the economic system causing the changes. I understand it’s on how it’s delivered yes but take my advise and give CV a shot!
The staff was both friendly and helpful. I got settled into my new home quickly.
Office staff is great! Quick response!Maintenance service is always prompt and efficient.
I was very impressed with the apartments at first, but they have to many false fire alarms in the middle of the night and people with dogs walked their dogs right where my balcony is and always smelled like dog pist and dog poop

Lol this management team plays games...just beware...majority of the reviews on here are fake I know this because I’ve lived here for 2 years now & since the management changed nobody likes them..like I mean NOBODY lmaoIt’s truly sad how pompous the front staff acts...if you’re gonna live here you have to have tough skin & know how to deal with disgruntled women. Not even being sexist, but these women act like something is seriously wrong with them every day...at first I use to get upset because it’s unprofessional but now it’s comical.
I loved the energy the day i walked in the building.its peaceful and warming....each staff member represented the establishment very well...thanks Cassidy and kellie i appreciate the customer service
Would like better service from the assiatants and also in the parking garage
Alex and Shanika were very helpful, courteous, and amicable. Top notch customer service plus free ice cream!
Great place to live with an amazing staff and surrounding area with lots of shopping and things to do
Edit: 12/06/2017.Changed the review to 4 star. The new management has taken care of the alarm system and no false alarms after that.I moved into this community in May 2017 and the fire alarms went off 5 times in the last five months. In fact the fifth alarm just went off. All 5 times it was false alarm and the reasons leasing staff give are very funny.Reasons given by leasing office:1. Alarms are extremely sensitive.2. Some one revved car engine in the parking lot.3. Some one smoked in the hallway.etc etc.My wife is pregnant and this nuisance has been extremely painful for us. We are worried about staying here. Please stay away if you are sensitive to fire alarms.Except for this issue, I wouldve given 4 star.P.S. Community is taken over by new management effective September 2017.
There great the community has the property cleaned and it is so relaxing the place is quite good place to read and i love it here come in and check it out
I love living here and the friendly staff!
Ive changed my mind, place is wonderful.
When I first moved here to this place formerly known at Alexan Vinings service was AMAZING!!! It had just opened, former management were on there P s and Q s and would fixed any issues immediately with more communication than necessary. You can even read a review by me on the website in praise of the former management company.Since the change of management I have been very dissapointed in the service. We no longer recieve the luxury service one expects when paying luxury apartment prices.-The gate has been broken for months. Anyone can just come in and out and they have a fake security gaurd there who does nothing but stand there. In the past if a gate was broken it would be fixed within the next few days.-The breezeways arent cleaned as frequently as they used to. I have seen dog pee on the floors for up to a week and a half.-The trash lady has an attitude and sometimes wont pick up things because she doesnt feel like it-They sometime dont respond to emails in a timely matter unless they want your money.-There used to always be paper in our computer room. Now, you have to go downstairs everytime you want to print something to ask for paper. When I asked why there is never paper in the printer anymore it was explained to me that people use it too much if they leave it up there. (Sn: I personally dont care if they have to pay an extra $100 a month to keep paper stocked in the office. I expect there to be some in there when I want to use it and if they dont want to keep paper in there, they should make sure its always stocked AND has ink.)Not to beat a dead horse but examples like this only prove my point. The reasons we pay so much to stay here is not only for location and amenities, but CONVENIENCE!!!! Management clearly views this as any other run of the mill property and is why we choose not to continue our lease.Dont get me wrong. Management is very nice and can be very helpful when aware of an issue. However, for the amount we pay for the space we have (which is beautiful) we expect the excellent efficient service we previously received. Hopefully this feedback can get them back on the right track.
Giving City View Vinings a 1 star because ever since we were sold to new management, it seems that everything I ask my front office staff for is a problem. Its seriously like City View bought Alexan Vinings with a burden because now the whole office staff walks around as if their job is SO HARD & like every resident is SUCH A BURDEN! Im Cinematographer & I politely asked the Spanish woman at the front desk if there was any way for us to adjust the music volume in the lobby so I could record. THE LOOK SHE GAVE ME could kill 100 cats I swear to you. Lol she looked utterly disgusted & then had the nerve to look me up and down & ask Are you a resident OOOOOOHHHH I was baffled. I guess I should ask my bank account whether Im a resident or not!! Maybe I should stop paying rent all together lol. Its funny because I could of SWORE that apartment complexes THRIVE off of renewals....with the way new management is going, there wont be any renewals this year. Lol
Best apartment experience Ive had. Ive lived in about 7 apartments, mostly in Atlanta, and Alexan Vinings is unparalleled. The 4.7 google review (when I moved out was 4.9) is likely the highest score youll find. I had lived here for 1 year since it first opened last year. I only left because of a new job in another city. The good:- Super professional and friendly staff, especially Michael and Madison. They knew my name and apartment number since we first met. Who needs an AI to do facial recognition? Everyone are warm every time we met on the property. Maintenance is prompt and usually next day. If they cant come on the next day, they will send an email to explain. e.g. water filter isnt shipped until Friday, etc.- Great amenities. The best Ive had. Not just they have tons of activities and games available in the club room, they have many public areas. The sky lounge features large TVs, large rooftop areas and swing chairs. 1st floor lounge includes a conference room, a kitchen and the clubroom. On 2nd floor there are the business center, gym and the pool, which is surrounded by sun chairs and bbq racks.- Great floorplans. I had a two bedroom floor plan where my roommates and my rooms are separated by a huge living room - about 450 sqft. Before I moved into Alexan, I spent a lot of time looking for bedrooms not adjacent to each other in Vinings, but it did not come up often in my search.- Great appliances. Huge kitchen & kitchen island. High quality appliances. I loved the fridge the most - it can make drinking water and ice - unique in the area. I also loved the bathtub, which is kind of short but oval shaped and deep.- Great views. As long as your window doesnt face the back alley, the view is perfect.- Easy access traffic. The Cumberland malls and plazas are right around the corner, so is the SunTrust stadium. A Kroger is to the back of the property, and an AMC is to the front. I-75/285 intersection is 2 minutes drive away. 9AM traffic from here to midtown is about 20 minutes, which is not bad. The worst traffic is on I-285 W around 5PM - usually 30 minutes from Doraville to Vinings.- I loved the parking deck. I could park almost right outside my door.- Competitive price. Less than $2000 for a brand-new 2B2B apartment in Vinings is a really price IMO.The bad:- There had been one room break-in, one car break-in and a suspicious car incident in the property in the first few months. The office was quick to address these issues and provided fixes such as adding protection to the locks.- Fire alarm used to be an issue. Until one month prior to my move-out, fire alarms throughout the property had been triggered at least once per month. It was driving me crazy. The office sent out emails forbidding smoking in the hallway and the fire alarm never sounded in my last month there.- Noise can be a minor issue. My room was next to the hallway, so sometimes people talk loud in the hallway, I could heard it. The weird part is I cant always hear people talking loudly in the hallway, and another wall is next to the elevator, but I barely hear noises from it. There were two occasions where people talking loud on the street below me at night.- Lightbulbs burn out fast...really a minor issue, but I had to submit maintenance tickets about 5, 6 times in a year to fix lightbulbs.Overall, I would give this place a 95/100. 5-star for sure! Highly recommend it to anyone working in west side of Atlanta.
