We were moving from a different state, so it was very important to find a place thats professional and responsive. Ty, Lamar, and Juan was exactly what we needed. Everything was completed online and any questions I had, they answered them right away. Its already stressful to move, especially far way. They made our move very smooth. Property is very nice and clean too!
I was a resident here for 6 yrs had no major issues until new front office management took over Julius and Juan. Whole community went downhill. Very rude, unprofessional front office staff and forget trying to reach upper management . No one returns countless emails or calls. Juan can’t handle pressure and just loses it b/c he’s unable to handle the job. Julius is just plain rude, disrespectful and should never be in a management role. Many residents left since they took over front office. I got fed up with being treated poorly and ended up having to break my lease to get away from that place. Only positive thing I can say is that maintence was great especially Reggie. My advise is please stay away from that place and move elsewhere trust me save yourself the stress and go where your appreciated..
Attention all future residence !!!! Rutherford Glen is a complete circus. Ty Harmon is so unprofessional, rude, and ghetto fabulous for absolutely no reason. She gave me neck rolls, rolling eyes, body language for trying to get clarification. I’m a traveling Nurse. She said that my income is not verifiable because I don’t live in Atlanta. I would have to have income in Atlanta before I actually move in the apartments. Which makes absolutely no sense I sent her offer letter and bank statements, check stubs to verify income too get denied. They will just waste your time and your money. Good luck .
I toured the property yesterday and I was impressed. When I arrived the door was locked but there was a sign on the door with a return time. When the leasing agent returned he explained he was on tour and thanked me for my patience. Overall great experience Manuel was very professional and helpful. The only reason I didn’t lease was because they didn’t have a three bedroom available.
I DONT RECOMMEND this complex whatsoever. This people are the absolute worst. I came inside the office ready to rent two bedroom for myself. When I came in I saw & heard Julius & Juan being rude, screaming & yelling at their own residents. I have never experienced this kind of behavior & bullying from management. I ran out of the office and will never look back.
I enjoyed living here but they are truly corrupt, figuring out anyways even if lies are created to maintain your deposit on file. I will admit there was a rather small stain on my carpet but to be charged $250 for carpet replacement. I have been renting 10 plus years and never saw a charge that aggressive for something so small. Just know if you have a deposit they will find a way to keep it. Julius really needs to find Compassion and do unto others that he would like have done to him. I hope these people know that being a honest and good person should come before a greedy company/system.
I lived here 3 years and the management went downhill my last year. They continued to charge me incorrectly for a garage I was not in possession of. Then when I finally moved out they incorrectly charged me for the garage again. When I spoke to them about those charges, they stated it would be fixed. When I received the check in the mail, it showed that nothing was fixed and I was still charged for the garage. This on top of no air in the summer, never answering the office phones, and rude front desk people. Very bad experience!
This is a great place to live. Its close to everything and management has been wonderful
I called on the last week of March asking if they have any 2 or 3 bedrooms available for leasing the representative who answered the phone was very rude, rushing me off the phone and did not provide any prices for their units. This is a real review and a missed opportunity. Please people do better with who you are hiring to work in your leasing office people have to call your apartments home, who wants to deal with rude inconsiderate reps....
I lived at the Rutherford Glen community for 3 years. During my time here I received excellent service from the management and maintenance staff. There were only a few times that I needed repairs done to my unit but each time the staff was very quick to respond to my maintenance needs. The Property Manager Kesha Murphy has also gone out of her way to be helpful and informative with any leasing concerns that I brought to her over the years and she has taken the time to sit with me and go over my questions when needed. Every apartment community has their issues, but in my opinion, the quality of the management and facilities here are certainly hard to come by for such a reasonable price.
What a disappointment this place has turned in to. My elderly mother who has lived here for about 5yrs was mistreated and refused a parking spot that is more accessible to her needs by the current Assistant manager by name of Julius Murray. Even being handy cap they have yet to provide her with a spot that doesnt require her to stuggle to climb the stairs. I just want to share my experience with you all. Used to be a great management team but as of late it has gone completely down hill. I guess now its time to get ADA involved while we start looking for another place.
I was very pleased with how fast management worked out my parking problem the keep me informed every step of the way and made sure I got my correct parking spot the manager here is awesome
Rutherford Glen is a great choice to live in because of the location (close to stores, malls, major interstates, churches, etc) & the apartment feels more like a condo/ townhome rather than an apartment. The ceilings are high and the rooms are extremely spacious, with large windows for lots of sunshine ☀️ The manager Kesha and team are extremely professional & friendly each time I interact with them 😃 Throughout this pandemic I appreciate the fact that every question or concern I’ve had has been answered.GoDoller your company has a winning team here at Rutherford Glen, and that was a huge part with my decision to renew my lease along with the fact of how much Living space (Renovations) I get for my $ and the great location! Grade: 💯
I’ve been living here at Rutherford Glen for less than a year now and I’ve had nothing but in professionalism from the staff in the leasing office. The people in the office are inconsiderate . They never answer the phone and always out the office longer than they need to be. Just horrible! Bright side, the complex is nice I’ve just dealt with a lot of water bugs and roaches sometimes.
Reggie is one of the maintenance workers at Rutherford Glen. I’ve been having such a hard time these past few months because of a leak in my ceiling. Reggie has made sure he always came and put 100% in even if he could not find the actual problem he always made sure I was comfortable and less stressed than what I actually need to be. he needs a promotion or something he does his job really well I hope to continue to see him working here!
Leading office needs to do better with answering the phone and not locking the door every 5 minutes. It’s hard to get a hold of them.
Recently visited property was assisted by Julius and Juan they were awesome I had a tremendous experience.
Recently applied and Ty has been the most helpful during this process. Shes super nice and I look forward to living here.
The first year I moved in, I enjoyed this apartment complex. I hadnt had issues with noise or crime, and the office accepts packages which is nice. However, I have dealt with roaches, hidden fees and unprofessionalism from the leasing office and the maintenance team. Ive had a leak 3 times in the same spot (through my light fixture, which you would think is a safety hazard, but they didnt treat it as such). The maintenance man, Reggie, fixes the problem(s), but does not clean up after himself. He says he will come back and fix the mess and never does. Now, when going to pay my rent, I noticed that theres an additional fee that the leasing office has tried to sneak in: parking. Why would I pay a parking fee if I dont own a vehicle? No where in the lease does it mention that a resident must do that. The assistant manager told me that the parking fee isnt optional. What a joke. Now, I wish I hadnt renewed my lease. Since Ive been here, the complex has been under new management twice, and the new management team is rude and unprofessional. I wouldnt recommend. You can find nicer apartments in the area for what youd pay here.
Superb job! Maintenance Tech Fred came by to fix my w/d. He fixed it in time before a tropical storm and power outage. He was professional and friendly. He explained what he was doing and gave insight about what I could do to fix other issues. He even followed up with me when he saw me later on the property. His supv. had to disturb him for another issue but they came back and addressed the issue issue timely. Thank you so much for your dedication and service.😊
I’ve lived here for just a little under a year. They sent out an email saying to send a picture and description of the cars to be towed from the parking space they charge you for ; however after speaking to the tow company DIRECTLY, they stated that management must contact them . After NUMEROUS attempts at towing, the manager Julius told me that the messages go to someone who doesn’t respond. I even recorded him saying so. I’ve saved every message and recording to tow . Now after another night of not being able to park in the 2 spaces I’m charged for, still nothing . What a joke
We are really happy with our decision to move to Rutherford. The staff has been very helpful. I had to get another key made and wait on the washer/dryer. The staff made every effort to get those items as quickly as possible.
Super friendly, Very nice and well kept property. Manager is Amazing and very In tune with everything. Also The Maintenance team always come take care of my request in a timely manner. Thanks for the Great experience!
Professional con artists. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I have been gone over a year and regularly receive information from bill collectors about fees they say I owe. Luckily, I keep copies of everything. Poorly managed. Dont move here if you value your peace or your lungs- mold.
I recently moved into Rutherford glen and all of my experiences so far have been VERY pleasant. My leasing agent, Alaya has been nothing but helpful and sweet. She has gone beyond her duties to make sure I was happy with the apartment. My place is beautiful, modern and cozy. The maintenance person on site has done every job within 24 hours or less with efficiency and grace. I really can’t ask any more of the staff or of the location. Idea spot on the access road and neighbors are fairly quiet. Proud to say this is home for awhile.
My move in process was quick and easy thanks to Alaya, she helped me and my boyfriend find the apartment we were looking for and in the right price range. She also gave us good detail and kept us updated about everything during the process. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and we love it .
Lived here for almost 2 years! The property is beautiful and they do a really good job with the landscaping. My apartment is a spacious 2 bed 2 bath with new stainless steel appliances! The staff when I originally signed was not too helpful but the new staff that I’ve met so far are very nice and respond in a timely manner.
My move in experience was very pleasant! Alaya was my leasing consultant and she has went above and beyond to meet my needs to move in! Anything I had an issue with she’s addressed in a timely matter & anytime I called she always answered! She’s definitely made me feel like home already I have not even moved all the way in yet! Keep up the great work Alaya! ❤️ your hard work does not go unnoticed !
Having my own parking space&the maintenance crew is really good when it comes to needing repairs
I recently moved in to this apartment complex. While the man who showed me the property lied to me about certain details I stayed because of Alaya in the front office. She is so kind and caring! She was so patient during my move in when I came and forgot one of my checks! She waited for me long after she could have gone home. The office manager is so nice as well! I cant remember her name but shes just as amazing. Honestly, those two really have made my move here worth while!
This was my second service request and the immediate response received was excellent and the issue was resolved. I was very impressed and pleased.
Ms Alaya is she such amazing wonderful lady, her customer service is great and very respectful young lady. She try her best and make sure are happy. Such a great lady in the leasing office
Kesha was informative and helpful after speaking with and were excited about our move!
Living at Rutherford Glen has been the biggest mistake I have ever made when it comes to choosing a place to live. This property has placed me on collections with a debt that is NOT valid. I gave the property manager a 60 day notice, paid my rent on time every month and moved out the apartment with everything clean and in tact. THEY MESSED UP MY CREDIT with this collection that was a mistake on their part. I have left numerous messages and emails with the property manager Kesha, their rental office along with their corporate office and regional manager in Philadelphia. No one cares to help me fix this issue which was a mistake on THEIR PART!!!! I will be contacting the BBB and taking legal action since no one cares to assist with rectifying their mistake that I am now taking a hit with. This issue has now hindered me from being able to purchase property. RENT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!
This this by far the most horrible place I have ever live they never pick up the phone that one. Two the manager she the most disrespectful to people and residents and i will be contacting corporate because no resident should be treated they she treat residents honestly I will be breaking my lease i can not live in an apartment when a manager is that rude honestly this is not home at all theirs not communication at all please stay away and trust the reviews seriously I regret living her
Wish I could give it negative stars!!!! I really wanted to move into this community because The price was great at the time. It took me two weeks to write this review because I hate to complain but it’s been on my mind ever since. I called to make sure that the price was correct that I saw online. The manager answered r the phone and she told me go ahead and come in to look at the apartment she’s here and she will be here when I arrive. When I got to the apartment complex the door will locked and the maintenance guy told me the manager stepped out I said well she is expecting me and she knew I was coming all the way from Marietta. He said she will be back shortly she went to go and pick her son up. Keep in mind it’s 4:30 in the afternoon and she locks the office to go pick someone up. I was initially upset but I decided to wait because the maintenance guy was nice and he assured me she will be right back. After about 30 minutes of waiting I went to check and she still did not come back. The maintenance guy felt bad for my long wait and showed me the apartment himself which I truly appreciated. When we walked back to the leasing office the manager finally came and she was telling her young son to go sit down somewhere. I said hi I called you about the apartment and she became rude saying I have told everyone if they want to see an apartment they need to come before 5. I told her well I’ve been here since 4:30 and you just got here at 5:15. She told me I was lying because she was here and I told her no ma’am that is incorrect the maintenance guy felt bad for me waiting so long for you and showed me the apartment himself. She replied well are you interested in the apartment or not because I have 3 other people who inquired about that apartment. She didn’t apologize or anything was rude and unprofessional I’ve never seen anything like this is my life!!!! I attempted to ask her questions and she was ignoring me typing on her computer. I left because she gave me bad vibes and I didn’t want to deal with her lying and rudeness I couldn’t believe she was the property manager. I will be contacting corporate about her demeanor.
They were so nice to me and approved me quick! ❤️
Alaya made everything about my move in experience amazing! From viewing the apartment to getting my keys I’ve never had such a smooth, easy & fast leasing experience. The apartment is wonderful, quiet & clean. Looking forward to my stay here and thank you for all your help Alaya!
The most unprofessional manager and staff. Manager was rude and did not care at all. Everyone are lying except her. Apartments are nice, but be aware. YOU CAN NOT BELIEVE A WORD SHE SAYS.
The Manager, Keisha, is the most unprofessional, non responsive, gets an attitude when youre calling to check the status of your matter person there is! The assistant or leasing consultant, Alaya should have her job, shes great! I was just in the application process and have had such a terrible experience with management! Note: I DONT LIVE THERE...
I can not recommend this apartment complex. The staff were very friendly, but the property is not in very good shape. The apartments are rather small and the layout is weird. It’s not a luxury complex by any means, but I’m sure it would be acceptable for many people. I only rate it 2 stars so that it’s understood that despite the pleasant staff, and excellent location, it does not in my opinion meet the standards it advertises itself to be.
Lived in this complex for a while now.. Had a service request again that was done in a timely manner once again. Reggie, Santos on up to Kesha are fantastic! Keep up the great work!
I’m a resident at Rutherford Glen and I love it!! great people. Alaya is very consistent I love her!! This place is amazing!
Exelent place
OMG! Hands down to the worst staff especially the manager! She has no idea whats going on the office! Horrible customer service! Should call them back and forth to answer one simple question!First we applied for a unit and after three weeks of getting Welcome Letter, received a call which told me that the tenant refused to move out, and they only have one more unit for that time which the rent is 300.00$ more than the one that we applied!!! Its crazy!Long story short, they are rude especially the manager! they didnt even bother themselves to apologies! they didnt even refund our full money back!BE AWARE! Its a new way to steal from you!!Even one star is too much for them!
I love my apartment, but the new leasing manager is going to run this place to the ground. I miss Artrena. Keshas communication is poor and her attitude is careless. I dont think she understood the shoes she was supposed to fill taking Artrenas position. There was a level of communication and understanding Artrena had with all of her residents and she was reliable. Not the same case anymore, and unfortunately I am not sure if I can stay here as long as she is management.
Heres an update. Every since we have been paying for parking space I havent been able to park near any part of my building. I get home very late at night and dread walking to my apartment, especially when the gates arent working and are wide open. Needless to say, I park in the guest area. So, me a resident pays for parking and parks in the guest parking lot. I have complained and no resolution. With that being said, Im wasting my money. I feel like Im being taken advantage of just for an extra $25 per month they receive from me for the parking fee. Needless to say, I will not be renewing my lease.
Alaya as well as the management is one word...Amazing!! Alaya is super sweet & helped me out so much, she really went above & beyond!
I lived and blacked mold for months and they didn’t help me at all. While there is a COVID pandemic going on, I stayed inside my apartment breathing in black mold everyday.
Alaya is great. She is helpful, extremely patient and knowledgeable.
I really love the appearance of this apartment complex. My husband and I were driving by and it caught our attention so we decided to go in and check them out as well as the prices. The young lady in the front was very welcoming and it made us feel very comfortable. She took us on a tour and I just got to say this community is really nice inside and out.
Advertises garages available.. Only tells you after signing the lease that theres a wait list. Ive been on the wait list for 8 months now, and my Benz looks significantly worse for parking outside this entire time. Also, for some reason people like to abandon cars here, which take months to get towed. The apartments are very nice though, and the staff is great. Very quick to resolve problems.
Warning ! Very unprofessional I had my car towed 3x, no notice was sent out, no phone call whatsoever, parking arrangements are so screwed up, they do whatever they want, be reassure they will take money for unassigned parking I’m beyond disgusted, called management very Nasty and unprofessional who does that .
Atlantas Perimeter JewelI moved into this apartment-home community 1 year ago, and Ive been so pleased with my experience that I decided to renew for a second year! The front office crew, namely Jasmine and Artrena, are the best office managers Ive dealt with anywhere--theyre responsive, accessible, and easy to deal with.I encourage anyone considering Rutherford Glen ***(update as of 05.2019)** anyone considering Rutherford should RUN!!! RIPOFF, NO INTEGRITY, THEYLL
When I first got approved I was excited to move here, but 3 weeks before we were scheduled to move in we got a call from the property manager saying the residents weren’t moving out. It was a nightmare for my roommate and I because we had already told our apartment manager that we were leaving. Rutherford’s apartment manager ended up finding us an apartment last minute and tried to keep the price close to our original approved apartment. We ended up with a fully renovated apartment for a lower price than the market price. There has been some small issues with customer service from the property manager since we moved in, however; our leasing consultant, Alaya, has been wonderful and a huge help! She made sure that our move in process was a breeze and that our maintenance issues were handled quickly. She was informative in regards to the new parking rules and always exceptional customer service. If you are thinking of moving here speak with Alaya and I’m sure she will take good care of you.
I loveeeee my new apartment thanks to Ms. Alaya for making my move in process simple and easy,I couldn’t have asked for anything better!!!!
Horrible place! The manger Kesha Murphy, needs to be fired! I honestly don’t see how she still has a job. The apartment complex will lose customers as long as she stays working there. Horrible customer service . I decided to renew my lease in my old Apartment complex because of her ghetto, rude and unprofessional self! And I want my 150.00 back which she probably will say I can’t get back. She probably spent it on her self smh my advice stay away!!!!!!
An ABSOLUTE TURN FOR THE WORST!! Parking, no pest Control, trash compactor,Lights off in dark hallways, poor CUSTOMER SERVICE, communication, slow or no reply to emails/ 3yrs no pest control or carpet cleaning, random charges to rent, and staff inconsistencies. An overall nasty experience here at Rutherford Glen!
Ms.Murphy is the best property manager
I have been a resident for almost 2 years. The maintenance team is awesome and swift with handling requests. Trena and Arely are absolutely marvelous. The staff is very professional and continuously provides world class service. The grounds are very well kept and there are a plethora of amenities to make residents feel at home.
I moved in almost 1 year ago, and have had no major issues. Any maintenance issues I have had were promptly fixed the next day, along with a follow up call from the girls at the front office(who are always super super sweet). The grounds are always kept clean, and I love that they have dog poop trash cans throughout the property. I did hear a gunshot a few months ago, but lets be real, this is Atlanta, get used to it. The only downfall is the parking situation. If you get home later than 4:30 pm, be prepared to park not in front of your own building.
The best apartment ever! I lived here her for about a year and Trina is the lady to go to! Always super helpful and always goes above the call of duty for her residence!!
Management is awful and very unprofessional. Please ALWAYS send follow up emails or document when you speak with them regarding issues. They can “slap” new paint on the property but nothing will truly get better until management is replaced.
Worst management ever. She will literally lie to you face beside being extremely rude
Dangerous place to live because of its on access rd so that a lot of strange people live in and I was experiencing an believable situation such as found bullet fire from next door it just miss my son and on February after midnight somebody took my tires with rims four of them they put my truck on the ground just like junkyard .... beautiful apartment but strange place to live.
Imagine an apartment complex where you have to walk 2-3 buildings over just to get a parking spot! Parking is horrific and I just dont understand the concept of making people who pay rent walk over buildings to get to their apartment because the parking in front of their complex is ALWAYS FULL! Maybe if there was 1 assigned parking spot per unit things wouldnt be so bad! Spots are usually full of people who 1. Dont live here 2. Have 4-5 cars a unit! Just not fair! Next issue summer is awful due to tenants letting their loud children stay at the pool past closing hours! Next gates never work (thats extremely unsafe) anyone and everyone can roll in because the gates work about 3 times a month! What do I need a gate key for? Ready to move and never look back
Get a top unit; the flooring and foundation are VERY weak. If you’re a light sleeper and want a full night’s rest don’t settle for anything else. Like we literally lost sleep staying here; it was a miserable set of weeks. Complaints were filed over and over and nothing was done to ever accommodate us. We were told that we would need to break the lease and do an application over before we transfer and later this info was retracted day of move-out. I hated everything about my experience with Rutherford. Lease was terminated less than 30 days. It was a BIG problem with the flooring in master bedroom.
Been going back and fourth for my security deposit since November it’s feb now. Loved this place at first until this happens only to be told the withdrawals for “damages” are absolutely incorrect and I have photos and videos as proof. Was told I would get my full refund and still waiting.. I use to recommend people to these apartements, save yourself the headache. I wish I never moved here at this point. A lot of run around and unanswered calls and voicemails, a lot of “you didn’t leave a forwarding address (I DID) and so we sent the check to the apartment you just moved out of with us” What absolute sense does that make? If I moved out, why would you send a check to the apartment I just moved out of?! And if I didn’t leave an address (which I did and have the employees name) why would you all not call me for one?!! Then couldn’t give a tracking number for the “newly” sent check and STILL WAITING... May have to take them to small claims at this point (annoying). I wasn’t going to leave a review but my patience are running thin..
Nice places. We live right down the road and walk by these apartments often to see our friends or catch a bus..
******Update*******They were able to work with me and transfer me to a different unit thats NOT on the terrace or 1st floor (thank God) Im glad theyre treating the building as far as the bug problem. I just wish the previous property manager handled it sooner. Thank you guys!Is building 1 the only building experiencing TERMITES?!CONS: For a luxury apartment, theres nothing luxury about it outside of the door handles. The vinyl floors are cheaply made and ours has been lifting upon move in! Speaking of move in, lets begin with that.We were showed an apartment in which we did NOT apply for( pay first and then theyll show you your apartment) so they put us in renovated apartment to make up for the difficult time. We were SWARMED with termites so bad that we stayed in a hotel the same night and was reimbursed for that. It is NOW 2/28/2019 and we are having active termites AGAIN. I emailed the property manager, property owner, and the leasing manager with pictures on 2/22/2019 and no one responded. Instead, they sent maintenance to LOOK at them on Monday- 2/25/2019. Why??? Tueday, FINALLY someone who TREATS termites came out and told me what he could do and how bad the building was infested but did not treat LOL a joke! He told me he would be back to treat. Wednesday 2/27/2019 someone came to clean the light fixtures that held the dead termites and dumped it outside of our apartment. SO WHEN WILL IT BE TREATED?! Weve experienced TERMITES. WATER BUGS AND HEAAAVVYY BOXELDER BUGS YEAR ROUND! The pest control comes out and treats the infestation but thatll last for 2 days. I rather the gate stay open than the gate not opening at all! Theres been numerous of times where the gates wouldnt open so 10 cars would sit around the leasing office parking lot until it does. I called the emergency line and no response or follow up.If you do not have a top floor apartment, youre out of luck. The floor foundation is so horrible and my neighbors above me sounds as if theres a Zoo every day and night. Oh! And they LOVE dumping things over onto our balcony so it looks a mess.Thin walls..I dont care about anything else except properly treating these termites and the management showing empathy for our situation.PROS: The maintenance crew is very responsive.24 hour access to the gym.Nice poolI WILL BE UPLOADING PHOTOS OF THE APARTMENT WHEN WE FIRST MOVED IN.
Management is not the best, they are rude and do not care for the residents. Specially Sally, avoid Sally at all coast. Our bathroom was broken which we did not complain about it was working fine. They had someone fix it but we didnt have hot water for awhile . After the fix we received a bill to pay for something we didnt want fixed in the first place. If it was broke that should be the fault of the apartment and should have been working fine when we moved in. The bathroom shower looks messy. Its a nice place but you cant get anything done here and if you do get something done, it will coast you.
I rarely leave reviews but I feel compelled to now. Im not sure why Rutherford Glen has only a 2.3 rating. This place is VERY decent for a 20 yr old property. You have GOT to expect some imperfections people. The grounds are nice (minus the stairs needing a good pressure wash, one front gate that needs to be fixed and there is a random long junk bin in the parking lot but, I think they are doing some remodeling) and minus a few minor and fixable issues (I will note on the move in check list and Im sure maintenance will handle it) my apartment is nice, I just moved in yesterday. Management was nice and greeted me as well as others with a smile. Its pretty quiet with the exception of a few cars coming through in the afternoon with loud music but after all, it was AFTERNOON. If my opinion changes in a few months, Ill update this post but, as of now they get 4 stars from me!!
Reggie on the maintenance team is absolutely awesome. He is always very professional and efficient!
This apartment is the worst place I have ever been in my entire life. The new management is the worst. Every time I call the office for maintenance, it took them a week to come and fix. They emailed the residence that they offer free personal trainer twice a week. I went two times and nobody was there. FALSE advertisement. All the staff in the office are very rude, especially the MANAGER SALLY. I would not recommend anyone to move in to this apartment. The apartment looks very nice and clean, but the management is the worst.
When I first moved in the apartment was not what I was promised and she tried to make me sign the lease before even looking at it. I had to pay an extra $100 a month for HER mistake to upgrade. Horrible parking, people park along yellow curbs, in the car wash, and in handicapped spaces because there isnt enough parking to go around. My apartment was not sealed properly I constantly had Rollie Pollies and all kinds of outside bugs in my house EVERYDAY. My packages delivered to the office were often misplaced I had to go back several times wig proof it was delivered before they would actually look for it. I couldnt wait to move. I left my apartment in great condition as I always do I had only lived there for one year and I have no kids. So I did a walk through with the assistant manager and she signed my paperwork saying the apartment didnt have any damages Nov 7. Did I get my security deposit back yet and its Dec 31? I had to call Email the regional manager because calling and emailing the managers onsite was pointless. Dont move here its not worth it.
If you read no one elses story, read mine.2 months out form my prospective move out date (July 8) I go in for a second time to view the complex and speak with management about availability. It looks promising, units look great management team seems like they know what theyre doing. One month out I apply and get accepted and heres where the fun starts.First thing I had to do was be on top of Jasmine about what she needs next so my lease can be pushed through, which whatever I was willing to do because everything seemed fine. Jasmine gives me a call 3 weeks away from my move out and move in date. She says, I have great news! We are going to be able to put you into a bigger unit with a fireplace! But you have to move in a week later since those people wont move out until the 15. I told her that wont work because my move out date (which we sign 2 months in advance in my apartment complex) was already set for July 8. She said she couldnt provide me the place on the 8th anymore because the people decided to stay 3 weeks before their move-out date they SAID theyd move out on.So hold on, I paid, sent you all the required docs and people who should have already been signed and committed to a move out date decided not to and its on me? That was the best they could come up with and the amount of disrespect and unprofessional behavior that this move shows is out of this world. I didnt even get a chance to move in, but if this is how they treat someone theyre trying to sign, I can only imagine how theyd treat someone whos already booked into a contract. Finally, they were prompt to give me a refund for the $200 I paid. That was the only good thing that happened out of this, getting my money back. Stay away people, stay away, believe in the poor reviews for the management. I wish I did.
I had moved in theses apartment back september 2015 . everything was going well the first week there. Till the parking situation(you will not get park at your building because there is zero spots available) started and the gated always stay broken. Also there was mold problems also due to the window seal was not secure. The rent started going up and extra fees that wasnt known of started to show. the people in the office is always changing. I would say PLEASE check out the Review before moving. The model apartment is just the model! I would not move back to this apartment nor tell anyone I know to.
I would not advice anyone to lease at this place. Aside from the noise and the guys that were shooting guns underneath my apartment, I am having no luck with the front office. To begin with, I paid the entire amount for my year lease just 3 months after living there. The noise in this place is horrible and I had to call the authorities because the neighbors beneath me shot a gun, there were other neighbors in the complex who called as well. I had even emailed the front office and asked if I could move into another unit and no one ever responded. The noise was not minimum noise, it was constant disturbance everyday. I’ve made several attempts to pay a remaining balance for a friend that moved in for 2 months because I had to return to Texas for school. Seeing as though my lease was paid in full, I still had two months of rent that could not be used by me. After the lease ended, the front office will not even send me the correct invoice for my records. They’re showing that I owe an amount that it totally incorrect and Sally the property manager has acknowledged that the amount is incorrect. I’ve called and emailed, but all they have done is send the wrong invoice showing a total amount that is not owed. I still have yet to even receive pictures from the move out where they’re saying the carpet had bleach stains. I don’t even use bleach and neither does my friend, furthermore, the carpet in that unit was horrible from day one and should have been replaced after the last tenant moved out. I have called, emailed, and left messages asking Sally to send me the correct invoice and I still have yet to receive anything. She knows that the invoice they sent is showing an incorrect amount and rather than have the staff or herself send me the correct invoice so that it can be paid; they continue to be lazy in the situation and show an incorrect amount that is owed. Are you telling me that for one additional day after the lease expired cost $241.87? Absolutely not, I’m not going sit here and beg someone to send me corrected information that they should have did from day one. If you see this place, keep moving on to the next complex.
Love this complex, love my apartment, and I love the location.Trena was very helpful and accommodating in the leasing office.
This small 7bldg community is really well kept. Access Gates always work. Mixed mature tenants from all races and ages. Accommodating leasing staff. Great location. Work orders are done promptly. Staff lives on site. All around, Rachel the property mgr does a great job and Im soo happy to call RG home! I love it here! 🙌
Terrible customer service, they try to charge you for everything, rent is overpriced for the service rendered as well as amenities and parking is atrocious. They charge downtown living prices for a slight upgrade from hood apartments. Again, customer service sucks do not waste your money or time.
They are making us pay for parking, and theres no guarantee youll get the space that youre paying for. Horrible.
Met with ayrel the leasing consultant, we applied and soon as they ran our info the residents decided to renew their lease. Ok fine. ...She gave us another unit available we told her we wanted vinyl she agreed everything was in order. Did the walk thru she showed me a unit w carpet and smaller than what we applied. Spoke w manager she gave us a renovated unit and discounted it because of the inconvenience with the front desk girl. However After paying the deposit we looked at the renovated unit TRASH! Bugs in the light, ceiling above master shower had a prev leak, no fire extinguishers, vinyl was lifting, a whole in the master closet door that was poorly covered, the sideMirror in the bathroom was broke,Storage door was locked. I mean it wasn’t cleanI mean horrible experienceThe leasing Agent was horrible.!!!A week after moving in our place was infested with termites, it was so many and so bad they recommended us to stay at a hotel because they couldn’t get no one out in time to fix the issues. We asked to be moved to a different unit they declined. The leasing girl at the front desk needs to be fired. She had a idc attitude and was not willing to help. Put yourself in the residents shoes and ask yourself would you have dealt with what we did. She did not care.Idk what to say about management.
Clean and Quiet Environment
Ive been here over a year now. The parking is minimal and leaves you parking else where but in the front of your building if you get home after 7 pm. The gate gets broken once every two months but gets fixed within a day. I wish we would get a speed bump in front of it to stop ppl from tailing behind you but I havent made that request offically. My last con..the internet in the business center hardly works. As for bugs I recommend requesting additional pest control spray before moving in & 1x a month there after. Its included in rent and you can have it every week if you like. As long as you are clean you wont have them. However, its quiet, safe, clean, & the staff is polite. They know us by name. We have free yoga Saturday mornings and boot camp once a week. Its in the evening which is convenient for the average working individual. The gym is always clear & clean. As for service request- I send an e-mail during work and by the time I get home its done correctly. Loud neighbors, shootings, car theft -not here. Weve received one e-mail since Ive been here about a possible car break in. Until I get a house this is where Ill be. Yes its pricey but there are too many scary apartment stories for me to risk any place else. We have police as residents. They are visible and nice.Overall I absolutely love my place. I have a peace of mind. I would recommend this complex to anyone who would go the extra and pay a bit more instead of risking it. I dont know what others are use to but the ratings on here must be for another complex. Im glad my experience has been on the opposite positive in.I had to write a review when I came across that 2.1 rating...really ?😒 A young lady by the name of Jasmine is apart of the staff team here & we absolutely love her. My kid has to go see her once a week just to say hello. Trina is official & takes this place to heart. She makes sure all is well. #realresident #nodiscount
Ive lived here for 2yrs now and come Sept. My lease will be up I will run from this place the new manager lies to your face.I asked when will the treadmill be fixed she told me first it was ordered then I went back there on the 17th of April she said well they cant find the part (its been 2 months and still broken)I said well cant you just get a new one she said well this is the first time it has been broken with me I told her but wouldnt it be safe to just buy one instead of just keep patching it up it stays broken all the time and its still broken someone pulled the out of order sign off but they got money to buy 11 new pool vase a new brick grill station at the pool and a dog park which makes no since to me at all.The parking is horrible you have to park in dark areas here 2 buildings over so if you come here you have been warned.
I have just applied to RUTHERFORD GLENN APTS last week and got approved. The service from Jasmine and management team was conducted promtply and fairly. I am so excited to move in this month. I chose to come in to take another look at the wonderful apartment, and I am leaving this review, I could not help but to read the negative review that seem to be recently posted. It is amazing how angry people can switch situations untrufully. I am the guy the lady aproached outside as I was leaving, and this situation did not occur the way it was described. Going forward I am sure that the nagative comments described about Rutherford Glenn is not as described as well. They are not idiots and they represent the company very well. I have also witnessed the lady Jasmine that was portrayed negatively in the comment, go far and beyond to help each resident on this busy day. Which was before I was shown the model. As a witness, I am extremly looking forward to being a resident of the Rutherford Glenn family. You must experience how great Rutherford Glenn is for yourself.
I initially gave this place 3 stars and that was before the B.S. started. Apartment wise, its a nice place, but management will surely get on your nerves! Unprofessional! Upon moving in we had a unit that we ended up not being able to move into because the tenant decided last minute they needed more time. So the unit I lived in was not what I expected. Now lets fast forward to moving out. I just received a final bill charging 2 months for water which upon signing the lease my roommate and I were told we didnt have to pay. I called Atrena to talk about it and she told me if I looked on the final water bill I would see that it was always 2 months behind. My thing is, If we were just going to be charged anyway I definitley would have paid for the two months I was told I didnt have to in the beginning! So if they try to hit you with that when signing your lease ASK ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS!! Also they charged a ridiculous fee to clean and unnecessarily replace carpet in the entire unit due to stains in ONE room. Stay away from this place or scotch guard every piece of the carpet!!
I have been trying to contact the office for the past couple of days to inquire about one of the apartments that are available, and no one ever answers the phone.
Very pretty I mentioned to put a five star
Worst place ever . Gate is always broke. No parking after 3pm. Inconsistent office staff & very unprofessional . If you have a maintenance issue they will probably come 2 weeks after u put in the work order. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. My lease is over in November & cant wait to get out of here.
Im currently sitting in the parking lot at 4:04 on a Saturday. I went to the door just to be told by some guy that doesnt work here that the girl is on lunch and she wont open the doors until 40 mins. Mind you they close at 5. He said he was her friend and he was thinking about moving here but thats why she let him in. I will be calling the property manager to ensure this issue is addressed as it is very unprofessional. The timer on the door says well be back at 3:15 and here it is almost an hour later. Not only that you take a lunch close to closing time? What kind of idiots do they have running this place. From the terrible reviews Ive read I wont even continue to pursue this place as they do live up to the 1 star standard.
Excellent maintenance staff
I have lived in few apartment in atlanta area, one of them is rutherford glen cir and i have bad really bad experiences living in this apartment i have heard 3 cars stolen, 2 home burglary, i could be witnesses for the guy who lost his 4 tires two times in a few monthsall this is happening on only building #1 I wouldnt recommended to anyone to live hereReally bad & risky apartments, very poor management & unprofessional,*****my leasing over June I cant wait to get out there horrible place .
This place is crazy simple is that,i have seen people get rabbed two times, and its too expensive and also not enough parking spot.
Used to be a great place but is steadily on the decline, no more valet trash service, management lets people park in the middle of the street, Im sick of arguing with inconsiderate tenants, and the maintenance manager just quit... Im moving when my lease is up.
Over priced small rooms no thanks this is America i need space
Clean and safe complex.
