About a year ago while shopping for an apartment for my daughter I was fortunate to come in contact with Katie Freeman. Katie is the epitome of customer service excellence. There is no doubt that she prides herself in being the consummate professional in doing her job. She is a good listener and takes the time to respond and resolve issues. We were very happy with the apartment and my daughter has expressed how much she will miss the spaciousness and layout of the apartment. Unfortunately my daughter had to move back home hence our non-renewal.The virtual tours of the apartment made it so much easier to plan the outlay and decor of the apartment. Katie also went above board to furnish us with pictures of the interior so when we moved in we already had everything figured out.On the whole the staff except for one individual has been fairly amicable and respond in a friendly manner. However I cannot say enough about my regard for Katie .Our only true misfortune was not realizing there was a required two months notice for vacating the apartment. It was our belief that we had to leave at the end of the lease, unless a renewal was requested. This misunderstanding was a costly error as we now have to pay for an additional month outside of the lease although we have to vacate the apartment on the lease end date. It is my opinion that there could be some flexibility on the issue. Finally, I highly recommend working with Katie for optimum support .Thank you!
I have 73 pet cockroaches and 987 pet ants. Apparently they spray the apartment but that’s not true, there’s tons of bugs everywhere. You can’t have a long warm shower, the hot water is limited so you have to take shorter showers. The worst part of the showers are the shower head. It’s cheap and keeps getting loose, y’all definitely make enough money to renovate your apartments. The apartments are very old and outdated. The longer you live there, the more you pay. That’s a reason why there are so much vacant apartments. Pet fees are WAYY to high. Be aware of unnecessary hidden fees.Anyone can enter easily, and there are always crimes. Maybe if I wasn’t paying so much and there aren’t so many rules, my review wouldn’t be so critical.
The first 6 Months here were great. Turnover on the maintenance team has brought the service down tremendously. The front office staff is great but Overall management here is horrible. This place cares more about enforcing petty rules than the health of their property and tenants. (Elevators, Cleanliness of property, Dog poop in major walk ways, Gate forever broken, etc. list goes on)The trash service doesn’t even deserve a star. Management would rather threaten to evict tenants than fix their own process issues. Not only will your rates sky rocket after you renew your lease. The customer service only gets worse. Overall a huge headache more than a home. Think twice before signing up here. Only move in if it’s your absolute last resort. These apartments are going downhill fast. My family thought I lived in the ghetto.
We are current residents. We have always been treated with respect by management and maintenance staff, who have been quick to respond to our inquiries and service requests. The complex is quiet and well kept; the apartments are spacious and quiet, and parking is usually very easy to find. You’d do well to consider Tuscany seriously; I would reach out to Katie Freeman first; her level of professionalism, care, and customer service is excellent. She has always helped us with any issues we’ve brought up with management.
I’ve been here for about a year and my experience has been very pleasant. I have zero complaints. The Katie, the agent that helped me chose my apartment, is absolutely wonderful to work with. Very kind and helpful. All of the staff here is the same way. This place is very reasonably priced and the location is incredible. I will continue to rent here until it is time to purchase a house!
Sydney, Katie, Desiree & Kim are always so helpful! These women are SO competent and extremely helpful. Any time I have a question or need help, one of these amazing humans are there! I’ve lived here for a year and a half now and they never cease to amaze me. I love Tuscany!
Tuscany is such a great place to live! The area is so affordable for city living and the leasing office is full of great people. Katie in particular did such a fantastic job going above and beyond to have my needs met when moving in. She continues to recognize my roommates and I and make sure any issues we have are resolved. The maintenance crew is timely, friendly, and helpful. All issues I’ve expressed to Tuscany have always been handled swiftly and to my liking. I recommend you check out this complex and what it has to offer. Ask for Katie! (Buuut everyone else is great too)
Im a resident here and Ive absolutely loved my experience living at Tuscany! From a tenant standpoint, you really do get all your needs heard and met by the leasing office. The apartments are spacious and amenities are up-to-date. Our maintenance requests are responded to promptly, and recently the leasing office even upgraded our unit with SmartHome technology for free! This place is affordable, modern, and ran by people who treat you like you matter which goes a long way
Is it a safe area? I am looking for an apartment and Tuscany looks very nice. My coworkers sister lives there, so i am looking for more info.
I moved to the Tuscany at Lindbergh 3 years ago and I have to say that I like living here. It is conveniently located within 15 minutes to midtown Atlanta and about a half hour by subway (Marta) to the airport. Shopping for groceries is within 5 minutes (Kroger). Theres a Target, Home Goods, Marshalls within a 3 minute ride not to mention a few good places to grab a bite to eat.The building complex is well kept - the maintenance crew does an excellent job in keeping the vicinity clean. The staff members in the Leasing Office are not only professional but are very helpful, gracious and pleasantly friendly. I would also like to mention that Tuscany at Lindbergh employees are prompt in responding to any issues, whether to change a light bulb to plumbing issues - they are reliable and trustworthy. Its a good place to live!!!!
I am a previous resident and I really enjoyed living at Tuscany at Lindbergh! They were always super quick to answer any maintenance requests and went above and beyond for any of our concerns. Curtia Momon made our move out experience so seamless! She made what could have been a stressful process such a breeze. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her!
Everyone in the leasing office was so helpful in my transition from my old apartment to the Tuscany. Katie was my leasing agent and she is always so quick to respond, informative, and honest. Ive loved living here and am excited to be extending my lease for another year!
Just relocated to Atlanta for work and was doing some apartment hunting and this community was on my shortlist. I ended up choosing another community because of my commute, but I will say it was a tough decision! The office staff was AMAZING. I worked directly with Curtia who was extremely helpful and super knowledgeable. Her service alone sold me! While I didn’t move here, I would recommend it to anybody that’s looking for housing in this area!
Ive lived at Tuscany for about 6 years. The maintenance team is top notch, the office staff is responsive and kind and most importantly, they love my dog! The common areas are always kept very clean (pool, gym, courtyards, etc.) and the package system is super convenient. Youre not at the mercy of the office being open to retrieve your packages. The property is close enough to the MARTA station to walk, but far enough away so that you dont hear the train. The only thing I dont like about this property is the mega church across the street. Every Sunday, its difficult to get in and out of the property, but thats not Tuscanys fault, so Im still giving them 5 stars!
Cons:1. We left the apartment for last 6 months of our stay (we kept paying rent) because of roaches which even crawled on our beds. We started keeping our utensils in boxes, even stuffing the lids of rice cooker, pots and pans with paper to prevent roaches from getting inside our cooked food. Our mental health started getting affected by this.2. Even when our apartment was completely vacant, the water bill was same or more as the months when it was occupied. We inquired about this and didnt get any satisfactory answers.3. We booked and paid in advance for Tuscanys move out cleaning service Cleanmove, so didnt do any cleaning from our end. The final inspection was done before the cleaning was done, I am not sure why. We got remarks that our apartment was left unclean. But we specifically didnt do the move out cleaning because we paid for their service, which wasnt done on time (i.e before inspection)4. The roaches came from outside and entered our apartment. We have some pictures to show this. We couldnt open the patio doors because of this and combined with the fact that the apartment was vacant for 6 months, the cooking odors couldnt escape.5. We got a hefty final bill for even regular wear and tear in the stove, bathtub. We stayed for 2 years but the regular wear and tear wasnt considered. We have stayed in the Lindbergh area in Amli, Eon, Pointe and Avana but we never got any fine while moving out. We also never faced any roach issues there.Pros:1. All maintenance requests were catered to on time, even during the pandemic(Though the pest control for which we paid every month wasnt effective at all)2. The smart package system is good and I never faced any package loss3. Location is good.4. Leasing office staff are friendly.
Great place to live and the office staff is awesome. Curtia assisted me and was extremely professional and kind. No complaints.
The staff is AMAZING!! I spoke to Curtia and she was so helpful and answered all of my questions.
Weve lived in Tuscany for over a year, and the entire team did an excellent job making us feel warm and welcome. The best part is quick response from the management w.r.t maintenance, mails, billing issues, etc. Our entire family would like to especially thank Kathryn Freeman (aka Katie), who helped us find an apartment tailored to our needs. A big shoutout to the entire team at Tuscany for being available and taking care of us during the pandemic!Best,Sonali & Bhavik
Katie is super fast at reaching out and preparing what you need, responsive with trustworthy answers (no beating around the bush-they’re very transparent), accommodating, and overall sweet! Best customer service I’ve received so far from a complex and I don’t even live here yet!
Our leasing agent, Katie, made the process of signing a lease very convenient and easy. Thanks for the help.
The whole staff is quick to respond and very kind people. They always do a great job! I recommend to anyone in the Lindbergh area. Great apartment community
Move in process was excellent- Sydney’s professionalism and helpfulness was superb. We love our apartment. It’s 2b/2b with great space! It does seem like these apartments are older, due to issues with our hvac, overall ventilation and the thinness of walls. We’ve had some maintenance concerns that are taking a while to fix, but staff is prompt in responding. “Quick fixes” are a recurring trend I’ve noticed also, when it comes to maintenance issues and also the level at which they turnaround apartments. The paint job was subpar when we moved in, with areas of splattered paint being left on the floor, and discoloration to the crown molding.Community is quiet. Grounds are average- could use some sprucing up. We haven’t seen any bugs on the first floor. Small gym, but great studio room for other workouts. Valet trash and recycling is nice, and the electronic keypad is great!
Tuscany was the only apartment on my list and I wasn’t taking no for an answer lol. I’ve had several friends who lived here and I knew this is the community I wanted. The process to get me approved was lengthy and tedious which is understandable given the current times. Jeon, and the managers Brooke and Curtia, were diligent in making sure I was able to get approved. They allowed me to tour every vacant floor plan and assisted me with selecting one with all my desired amenities within my price range.I will be wfh and the floor plans are spacious with huge desks. The community is clean and quiet as far as I know. Also everything I need (grocery, Dunkin’ Donuts!, eateries, etc) is within walking distance.
The folks in the front office are incredible and so helpful, especially Katie!
My husband and I have been living at Tuscany from July 2018 and we are absolutely happy here!! Amazing location and great apartments. We feel like we are living in a home and not an apartment. Weve lived in other apartments in and around the perimeter and this is hands down the best complex. The maintenance guys are amazing and ensure to resolve issues within hours. I cannot recommend this place enough!!
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Do not apply here if youre moving from out of state! They will charge you the application fee and then deny your application because you have an out of state income even though you are remote. It is ridiculous and unprofessional. Look elsewhere.
I was a resident for 7 months (February to September, 2020). I had a 14-month lease but I had to break my lease early due to multiple issues with neighbors and the use of illegal substances on a daily basis. Management tried helping at first but as the issue continued they desisted and did not even try to give us options other than moving apartments with no help for moving expenses. The biggest problem in this complex is the management. The website reviews do not reflect the current state of the complex. When moving out they could have at least tried to waive lease break fees since it was not my fault but they could not even do that. I personally do to recommend this apartment complex.
Tuscany is a great place to live. My roommates and I have been here since December and we could not have asked for a better home and location.Katie, our leasing agent was fantastic. Answered all questions he had, gave us a beautiful tour of the complex and was delightful as she could be. Even now, when we have maintenance issues or just questions, she is prompt and professional to get us answers quickly and help anyway she can. Katie is a 5star leasing agent.
I have lived at Tuscany since July 2017. I originally lived in a three bedroom but moved to a two bedroom this July at the end of our lease because one of my roommates moved out. The original leasing process and transfer process were both great. We paid reasonable rates for both units. The amenities are great. My favorite is probably the valet trash. The maintenance staff is also very responsive and has fixed anything we needed within 24 hours or sooner. There is also security and plenty of guest parking. Negatives are that sometimes there are issues with insects. We had ants in both units after moving in but this was quickly resolved both times. There have also been roaches occasionally but pest control always comes out if you report it. The building has the same issues that any building would have. Sometimes people leave trash in the halls or dont clean up after pets. Management stays on top of that with communications and I see maintenance actively tending to the premises daily. Sometimes it can be loud on weekend nights but that is just part of living in this neighborhood and doesnt bother me. The biggest inconvenience is that the call box is not located by the gate and thus delivery couriers and guests often cannot find it. Currently, we plan to renew our lease for a fourth year. Great location for the price with easy access to Buckhead, Midtown, MARTA, and the major highways.
I pay for a parking space and I am not allowed to have violators removed I have to have approval from rental office. There is are no security cameras in the area for mail delivery or package delivery which results in packages being stolen. I filed a police report only to find that this is an on-going problem at this complex. Why are there not cameras installed? Why is there a huge pad lock preventing access to the mail boxes except at times of the management discretion.
I have lived here with my boyfriend for a little over 6 months now and it has been the best complex ever. We absolutely love our apartment - so spacious and beautiful. Katie has made us feel like family from the beginning. She calls to check in, makes it her personal goal to make us feel as comfortable as possible, and even got our little baby a present when he was born. The location is perfect to get to both Buckhead and midtown. We love walking our dog around the neighborhoods close by. HIGHLY recommend living here.
On December 5-10, I sent multiple emails and communicated via phone conversations my concern for my safety and belongings. Joshua and I asked multiple times to be transferred to another unit due to safety concerns. However, these pleas for help were disregarded and ignored due to the fact we have been late two or three times during a global pandemic. We were told by management that there was protocol that must be followed despite our cry for help. On December 11, the last words I said to the Leasing manager, Desiree Bermudez were, “Something bad is going to happen, what do I do when something bad happens.” Subsequently, on December 12, 2020 this same protocol was violated by Venterra staff, when Maintenance staff member, Spencer Johnson, allowed an individual access to OUR apartment. Spencer, Venterra’s staff member, allowed the same individual I feared for, into our home, without asking for any identification. On numerous times, I have been told by Venterra staff that in order to obtain access to my unit, Photo identification must be produced, by me or an email and photo identification if access is being granted to another party. However, protocol was not followed in this case, and as I feared I lost my furniture, jewelry, purses, speakers, groceries, and shoes. Not only did we lose belongings, but we lose trust in Venterra and the feeling of comfort and safety in OUR home. I can only imagine what would have happened if Joshua or I would have entered the unit while a troubled young woman, with grievances against me was cutting my furniture with a knife, would she have turned her anger toward me? The fact is Venterra did not car what would have happened or about what did happen.
My bf hasn’t even been here a whole 30 days and it’s already a huge bug problem, broken AC but today was the last straw. Car was booted (he has a decal and there’s no sign saying he can’t park there) and Tara plus the bald white guy in the leasing office were no help and were both rude. Going to corporate and looking forward to helping him move out ASAP.UPDATE: they claimed they were going to “reach out to the lease holder” they have yet to do that and there are still several bugs every time I’m here. for 1635.. this is pathetic af!
Weve lived here for 6 months and its been fantastic. Maintenance is quick and efficient, and the units are all updated and spacious. The staff have been amazing. Katie in particular goes out of her way for us. She got us a monogrammed blanket when she found out we were having a baby.
The management and employees here are very friendly, and nice people. Every time I requested something it was done with a smile. I’ve had conversations with multiple staff members (Pre-Covid) just about each other’s day. Katie and Sydney in the front office are great and are top tier professionals.
Love everything about this community. Its in a great centralized location, surrounded by restaurants, parks, MARTA and nightly entertainment. The maintenance staff is superb - quick to fulfill requests and always so pleasant. The office staff runs to meet you at the door every single time, always happy to assist anyone. Tuscany knows what exceptional living really is. I definitely recommend this property!
Unsafe Conditions, terrible property management all around! In my two years at Tuscany Ive been put in several scenarios jeopardizing my safety. From an armed carjacker wondering the complex in August 2017 to a pants less homeless man startling me in the restrooms by our community work out area, the lack of transparency and care the Tuscany staff has is always upsetting. However, the following incident occurring has pushed me to my breaking point:My bathroom mirror collapsed and shattered without warning (pictures attached below). I luckily was not in the line of fire when the mirror fell, but if I had been, I would have been seriously injured.THE ENTIRE TUSCANY STAFF COULD NOT HAVE BEEN LESS CONCERNED.They treated this as a minor maintenance request. The office is supposed to be open from 9am-6pm. I sent an email notifying management of the incident a little before 8am. Starting at 9am, my roommate and I both called the office repeatedly. I called twice and my roommate called three times, when she was finally able to get ahold of someone close to 10am. The representative my roommate spoke with admitted to seeing my email and just submitted a normal maintenance request. AT THIS POINT NOBODY HAD REACHED OUT TO ME CHECK IN ON MY WELL BEING OR ABOUT THE INCIDENT IN GENERAL.After several conversations, my roommate and I have made two very simple requests to rectify the situation-- both were immediately shut down.As of right now I would NEVER recommend someone sign with Tuscany.
My husband and I moved in about 4 months ago and love living at Tuscany! Fantastic location and beautiful apartments. Right from the start everyone a the leasing office has been super helpful and welcoming- especially Katie! Maintenance requests are done with a quick turnaround. We absolutely love living here and would recommend to anyone looking for reasonably priced apartments in the perimeter.
Average apartment complex, amenities, living experience, etc. Youre paying for locale.I lived in a 1BR 750 sq ft apt on my own. On occasion, my girlfriend and her dog would visit, which I was told was acceptable at this property without having to pay a dog deposit (false). When you move out, expect to be slammed with move-out fees. I cleaned my apartment and made sure the place looked in decent shape. They hire cleaners regardless, so I didnt perform back-breaking labor. Given that my deposit was only $125 and they take the last months water bill out of your deposit, I expected to pay ~$100 for cleaning fees, at most. When i received the bill, I couldnt believe my eyes. After subtracting the entire deposit, I was charged over $550 in cleaning and damages. This included over $150 in cleaning charges and $140 to replace a stove top that I evidently destroyed (false). Also included was the $300 pet fee for having my girlfriends dog come to visit. In short, theyre going to tell you what you want to hear to get you into an apartment, and once you decide to leave 13 months later, theyre going to knife you.
Living in Tuscany has been fantastic. From living outside of the perimeter the entirety of my life, I was apprehensive to make the move. The Tuscany agent, Katie was a great help getting me all the necessary information in a timely manner, allowing me to tour and sign a lease on a room in under 2 weeks. She has been super helpful even after moving in with check ins and different updates within the community. I don’t think I’d be able to get such a welcoming experience at another complex in the area. Thank you Tuscany Lindbergh, and thank you Katie for being amazing!
These are the best apartments Ive ever lived in. Great location, close to parks, night life, shopping and so much more. I was skeptical that living in an apartment was going to be very difficult after leaving my house, however my apartment is very spacious, quiet and homey. The staff are very welcoming, kind, and very attentive to everyones needs. Katie is the best leasing agent Ive ever met. She knew that moving here was challenging for me. she calls to check in all of the time. Maintenance is always on top of their game. Ive placed two work orders since being here and Ive never waited over 12 hours for someone to fix it. Spencer is the best as hes always very helpful and pleasant.
I’ve lived here at Tuscany At Lindbergh for many years - beginning in 2014. I absolutely love living here for many reasons - the location is prime for my family and I, I feel safe and secure, the amenities are amazing, and my apartment feels like I live in an actual house. Everything that I desire, I have here at Tuscany and I couldn’t more grateful. The team is also amazing! Thank you all for everything you do!
My roommates and I just moved into Tuscany at Lindbergh at the peak of Covid-19 with everything in the process done remotely. We were worried that there would be delays or issues with the process since everything was done virtually but to our pleasure and surprise we have received above and beyond customer service from Kim and Desiree. They have followed up consistently and quickly to any questions or issues. I have never had such a seamless application or move in process in all my times renting let alone it all being done virtually. If you are thinking of living here, definitely ask for Desiree or Kim.
I believe the integrity of people and companies becomes apparent in times like these. During an unprecedented global pandemic that has left people with uncertainty and insecurity about their jobs and health, Tuscany has continued to prioritize profits over of compassion. I am sorely disappointed to have given my business to this company.Ive lived at Tuscany for the past three years while I was finishing up school. During that time, there have been some small issues (people leaving trash in the hallways, roaches, ants) and a few bigger ones (mail theft in the community, burglary) -- but thats the be expected. Overall, I enjoyed living here. The maintenance staff is really incredible, extremely kind, and quick to respond. But each year I encountered a hefty increase in my rent to continue living here.I was planning to move out this year when my lease is up to follow a position at another university out of the city after my graduation -- however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my relocation was put on hold indefinitely. When it was time to decide to renew or leave, the community, for the first time ever, did not increase the rent if I renewed for another year. But I have no idea when I need to relocate -- the university has discussed possibly opening campus in the fall semester, possibly spring. Due to this uncertainty, I wanted to go month-to-month after my contracted lease end date; however, Tuscany requested an additional $1k / month to do so. I requested to go month-to-month at the same monthly rate (instead of the $1k / month increase), but the managers were unable to work with me on this matter. Mind you, I lived here for the last 3 years and paid on time 100%, in spite of dealing with substantial rent increases as a student. While I enjoy the have enjoyed the community and enjoyed living here, Tuscany has proven to be nothing more than another greedy and heartless corporation. They denied my (very reasonable) request and instead used the uncertainty of COVID-19 to capitalize on more $$. I dont know where Ill be going next, but I certainly will not be renewing at Tuscany.
I am about to move out after living here for about a year. I am only moving to be closer to work. If I could have I would stay here forever! The leasing office staff is the most friendly and helpful staff I have ever met! The apartments are beautiful and spacious. The maintenance staff is very kind and speedy when answering requests. I can always find parking where I want to and I have always felt safe even when coming home at night. The security guard takes his job very seriously and can be seen guarding the gate or patrolling the parking deck regularly. I definitely recommend living here!!
Aside from my review in July, Ive had no other real complaints about living here and its been a really pleasant experience. Katie, Sydney, Desiree, and Jeon have always been super accommodating and friendly whenever we have needed anything! The maintenance team is wonderful, and were always amazed at how quickly they get things taken care of. The location is walking distance to the MARTA station and easy access to 85.Some things to keep in mind about living here are: roaches are an issue in the hotter months since there is a lot of greenery and foliage around, the church traffic can be annoying, and the garage doesnt have great/safe lighting & theres no longer security on the property.July 2019 ReviewI’ve had very few issues living here except recently one of our neighbors has been letting their pet pee in the hallway. I talked to the new assistant manager in person about it one month ago and she said she would send out a notice to everyone in the hallway. I’ve since emailed about it and told two other staff members at the leasing office about it on different occasions. Each person always asks me who the neighbor is as if I’m a hall monitor and as if there’s nothing they can do to address it unless they know exactly who it is. To date, no notice has been sent out about it. They haven’t had any issues sending me numerous texts and emails about food trucks and pool parties though! But when it comes to addressing unsanitary conditions or complaints about scooters blocking walkways and entrances, that doesn’t seem to be a priority. The maintenance staff has been great about cleaning it up but that doesn’t fix the issue.
Great place to live at, and I love the location. They have an awesome leasing team. The property manager is awesome as well...Katie is the go to person when leasing an apartment, she was very helpful......
I love love love Tuscany!!!! The staff is super accommodating. I truly appreciate all the efforts Kimberly and her team has made to help me feel at home! Great management
Katie one of the leasing agents moved us in she is an awesome person. She made the move in process easy and smooth. She answered all of our questions and concerns. Every time we see her in complex she always smiles and ask us if every thing in our apartment is okay. She is one of the best leasing agent we have ever had. Also, the apartments are BOMB we love living here. Its quiet, clean and family friendly here. They always make sure that they take good care of their residents. So, if you are looking for a great place to stay in Buckhead come here and ask for Katie. - TIa
Love this place! Awesome location. Well appointed apartments! The staff in the office are super attentive and the maintenance has responded very quickly for my repairs. My neighbors have ended up being great friends! Two thumbs up!
This place made me feel right at home immediately! The staff are so nice and I’ve had no issues moving in. The amenities are so nice ! I love the club room for hosting small gatherings. The whole place has been a breath of fresh air honestly.
The management team is not helpful though every time they answer the phone they say How can I make your day better? Weve had dishwasher problems several times and they have been slow to replace it. Not a family friendly place.
Huge roach problem and they rob you on the security payment refund. I lived at this property for over 4 years, the last year I had to make several requests for insect spraying because these large roaches would come in the unit from the outside. The windows needed to be sealed and the property needed to be sprayed. Also after living in the unit over 4 years they charged me for a common use stain on the glass stovetop oven, a barely visible stain in a 5+ year carpet, and a stain in their cheap tubs that are impossible to clean fully without a professional grade cleaner. Costs that an apartment company should be taking care of after theyve had a resident in a unit for 5 years. Id expect the next tenant to have a freshly cleaned tub and new carpet...Also the rent increases about $100 a year here with no room for negotiation. The only saving grace here is that the staff are pleasant, otherwise not worth the price. There are newer units in the area for similar price points.
Perfect location! The complex is walking distance from the Marta station which will take you straight to GA state campus, perimeter Mall, hartsfield jackson airport, and more! No complaints yet. If you need assistance contact Sydney Padilla at the leasing office! She is extremely helpful and goes the extra mile to help accommodate your stay here.
I loved living here. The maintenance and leasing staff always accommodated anything I needed. I wish I could’ve stayed but I had to relocate due to work. Tuscany is great!
Tuscany at Lindbergh is a really great place to live. Not only is it unique in appearance but the Office staff is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to resident concerns. The maintenance staff usually responds to matters promptly. They also have great security.
Bennett (The community manager), Tara (His assistant), Brandon (Lead security) and the maintenance staff are a great asset to the Tuscany community.....I recently wrote a negative review in regards to trash pick up which is a separate company outsourced. I have deleted that negative comment because I want to instill positive vibes in order to receive positive vibes.....Since my complaint in regards to trash pick-up, the management team made it a point to resolve the issue. I havent had a problem with trash pick-up since....
Had I known they offered free cockroaches as pets, I would have asked them to highlight that part on the leasing agreement. This is simply ridiculous that the roaches run around as if they own the place. Entire area needs upgrade cause these roaches are embedded in the building. They need a fumigation treatment.
Lived here for a year. It was mostly a bad experience. The apartments themselves are fine (appliances, layout, etc.), but almost every other aspect was a let down. Particularly, the move out process. If you already have signed a lease here, get ready for the moveout process. It seems Tuscanys only goal is to skim as much money out of leaving tenants as possible, but in their defense it is all signed in the lease. The most staggering example: Our lease was 13 months and two days. They literally want the payment for the 2 days - ours was $80. The amount is not the problem, its just the fact that they want every little dollar they can get, its bs, normal renters dont intentionally implement policies to skim a few extra dollars out of every leaving tenant.Other important notes - There were 3 break-ins on the same day around Christmas last year, our car was broken into within the first couple months, and the security cameras (at the time) did absolutely nothing. Security was questionable at best, but management was generally quick to respond to requests.
Kind leasing staff, but the absolute worst property upkeep I have ever experienced. Breaking my lease early due to apartment conditions which includes black mold, E. Coli bacteria which lead to my 14 year old healthy cockapoo to have 7 UTIs (not common in dogs), and no air conditioning since the beginning of November. Worst part, I am still being charged (a month’s rent) to break my lease early.
I’ve been living here for a year and it is the worst apartment complex I have lived in. Management is incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate to their overpaying tenants. They never answer the phone and never have a solution for any issues. There is a huge pest problem. They claim to have “pest control” but clearly whatever is being done is not working. I have lived in other apartment complexes before but never have I seen such negligence.
Maintenance staff is fine.. But management team takes forever to help ..No actual help and puts blame on us .. leaving us stranded. To the comment from Tuscany - Calling or going to leasing office doesnt help
Moved here just before fall semester started. Sydney recommended my room mate and I to the area and we absolutely love it!
Great place to live been here about six months the leasing staff and maintenance team are awesome haven’t had no problems
Went through the application process only to see them increase the price by $4,320/year because we wanted to move in 15 days later. They refused to budge claiming the market rate is higher in 2 weeks.
I just renewed for a 2nd year - Ive loved living here! The rates and amenities are great. Not to mention, the staff and maintenance people are all so helpful and friendly. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you have everything!
My first apartment experience was not the best. The majority of the staff at Tuscany are nice and professional. Unfortunately, the convenient location, nice pool, and the amenities were not worth it.The main issue I had: PESTS.The first week after I moved in (August 2016), I killed a few spiders. Nothing too serious. The very next week, I discovered that there was a SERIOUS water bug/roach problem. These were not small roaches, but the large ones (Welcome to Georgia). They would crawl up my drain in the bathroom/shower, from under the doors of my balcony and front door. For the first couple months, I was disposing one two-three times a week. I put in maintenance requests, but all they would do is come spray on Tuesdays. And that did not help at all.I tried buying raid and setting out traps, but this was not effective. I even bought some spray that you could purchase from a hardware store. This worked for a couple weeks, but some still managed to make their way in.After going complain to the office, I believe the pest control service Tuscany uses had them set a roach bomb off in my apartment. The next day there were 5 very live roaches in my apartment. It became stressful and aggravating. I am by no means a dirty person, and I kept my apartment clean, so I couldn’t figure out why I was having so many bug problems. They would tell me it was because I kept my apartment cool, which attracted them. They told me my upstairs neighbor could have been dirty, and the roaches were crawling down the walls. There was a lot of shrubbery around my apartment, and they could have been coming from there. I also lived on the first floor, etc. I was less concerned with why they were there, and more concerned with keeping them out.The roaches are also all over the parking deck and stair wells. So at night, be careful where you’re walking.Unfortunately, it gets worse.I usually leave my makeup bag under my sink. One day I was getting dressed for class, when I saw a dead water bug had crawled into my makeup bag and died. I had to throw all my makeup away. One day I was in my kitchen cooking, and I saw a shadow of something moving. Two large roaches had crawled from God knows where and were stuck in my light fixture in the kitchen. I put in a maintenance request, but since it was the weekend, they stayed up there for 2 days. This happened about 3 times. One of the times, a roach managed to crawl out of the light fixture. Imagine trying to kill a roach from off the ceiling in the kitchen. I have pictures and videos to prove all this.I will say that from the middle of November through the end of February, the problem ceased. But once it began to get a little warm, it started again. In the 1 year I stayed there, I put in between 18-20 maintenance requests for pests. I also had silverfish crawling up my drains as well, just not as often. I also walked into my closet one day, and there were hundreds of ants crawling from the ceiling. They took care of the problem right away, but it was very frustrating. When I moved out, I was hit with heavy fees and did not get my deposit back.I am sure that not everyone has had this many issues (especially with bugs) at Tuscany, but I would recommend not living on the first floor of the 200 building or in a unit with a lot of plants/trees outside of it.
This was, by far, one of the worst experiences I have ever had. After a year of overpriced rent, disrespectful security, disgruntled management, and refusals to respond to maintenance requests, I am both bewildered and confused as to why they went out of their way to charge me unnecessarily for things that I know were functional during my time there and after I left. Resurfaced sink, replaced stove, and a paint job will run my roommates and me well over $900, as if $1,700+ for a two bedroom was a reasonable price compared to the things we had to deal with. I just... do not move here, if you can help it. Theyre in walking distance to the Lindbergh MARTA station, and the bathtubs are a good size. That is really all theyve got going for them. They are rude. They are negligent. They are scammers. They do not deserve your money. Go somewhere else, love, because they are not it.
I had a tour here and came about 2ins early. I was directed to sit in a waiting area because the lady at the front desk was taking to another couple and I understood I would have to wait since I came early. By time my appointment time came, the couple had been gone and I was never attended to. The lady didn’t even come and tell me that she may need a few minutes to get ready or reassure me that she would help me. It was completely quiet other than light music so she heard me there and knew I was waiting. In conclusion, I ended up walking out and use to this experience I decided not to consider them in my apartment search. I am not sure if all the staff acts like this but this was my worst experience touring ever and I do not do disrespect.
Good location, plenty of parking, great staff - particularly Desiree, the unsung hero that keeps the office running like a well-oiled machine. Keep doing you, Desiree.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. All of the positive reviews are lies written by tenants that were offered incentives to get free stuff from management. Seriously live anywhere else. For the past year I have put in constant maintenance requests for the same issues only for them to break again in weeks. They also never removed the mold that was there when we moved in. On top that there have been several car break-ins and the front gates are broken often allowing anyone to come in. A few months ago there was a trail of blood down the hallway in front of my unit and it took two calls to the leasing office to get someone to come and clean it. Blood. Literal blood. Management will pretend to be sympathetic on the phone but at the end of the day they have no power to do anything, its all in the hands of Venterra who couldnt care less. For example, while i was a tenant here my car was booted and even though they have a contracted company that boots cars, i still had to pay get to the boot off despite it being a mistake. It has been a complete nightmare. We also got hit with $450 in move out damages despite the apartment being pristine.
Been living here for 8 months. Staff is very kind and helpful. Low rent for average amenities. Commons seem to be consistently upgraded, new pool area, new club house, and new paint job just since Ive been here.Bi-monthly Thursday parties thrown by the staff. Free snacks and drinks!
Ive been a resident at Tuscany at Lindbergh for nearly 2 months. The community is gated and you have to use either a card or a callbox to get inside. Despite this, my car was vandalized and robbed in the resident parking. The catalytic converter was cut off of the bottom and the repair cost over $700 which is more than half of my rent. I couldnt get a number to contact security after-hours and had to resort to calling the police. Afterwards, the community manager refused to take responsibility for covering the damages. The community is beautiful, but Im afraid that as a resident, you will have no assurance that you are safe or that the community will do the right thing when you are affected by their lack of security.
Most of the people that moved in throughout the last year have been horrible neighbors. The parking deck is like playing Russian roulette whenever you leave or return home. The staff is super apethtic towards anything. The buildings are literally sinking, two of my windows would not close because of this. All the vendors they hire to do work around the place are bumbling and hapless. There is a mega church directly across the street that will be the bane of your existence should you live here. Not sure if they ever got the fire alarms fixed, but they would constantly crackle like a dying deer; they did this when they werent going off for no reason at 6am. Their closest 24hr maintenance worker is usually an hour away, so if you do have an emergency, your best bet is to tuck your head between you legs and kiss you plumbing goodbye. They also recently installed a package locker system that charges you if you dont pick up a package within 48 hours of delivery; side note: I had a package delivered so tightly in the locker I had to rip open the box and extract the contents. They got the extra star for location and free beer about once every six weeks.Oh and when you move out get ready for one hell of a tax against your deposit.
Ive lived here for about 4 months and could not be happier. Perfect apartment, quiet community, clean and functional workout facility, beautiful pool. The staff is friendly and attentive - its clear that they care about the community and its residents. Some have complained about the trash smell because of the valet trash service, but honestly, I never smell it. My hallway smells more like laundry than anything else - and its awesome to never have to carry trash to the dumpster. If youre new to the area, dont be turned off by any of the neighboring establishments - Ive lived in this area my entire life and never had an issue.
Overall a great place to live that is right in between Buckhead and Midtown. If you want to ride MARTA to work, school, or the airport, its a perfect location for you. Overall the staff is pretty helpful and the maintenance is awesome. Lived here two years, would recommend.
I’ve lived in the same unit for 3 years. Year 1: few roaches on the common areas.Year 2: many roaches on common areas and some in my apartment. Year 3: I literally had to make space and accept that The roaches outnumbered me and were here to stay. If I go to the restroom in the middle of the night, I ask Alexa to turn all the lights in the apartment on cause it the only way I can be certain I won’t have a roach crawling on my feet or flying on top of my head.Ps: requesting pest control and all the other methods to kill the roaches were unsuccessfully exhausted.
Stayed for 2 years at Tuscany at Lindbergh. Overall had absolutely no issues with the apartment. Location is very convenient to Buckhead and Midtown/Downtown.The staff and maintenance are really helpful. Would surely recommend.
We have been living here for the past 4 years and absolutely love it. The staff is very friendly and professional. They offer amazing amanities and you cant beat the location.Definitely recommend this place to any and everyone!J&D
Only been here for some weeks and I’ve seen numerous roaches, crickets, spiders and MY WELCOME MAT WAS STOLEN and nobody can seem to help me with that issue along with the bugs. I also saw a rat in the hallway. I wish I was making this stuff up. Never did a review on ANYTHING but I’m extremely unhappy with my experience with this place.
We lived here for 3 years and only left because we moved out of state for work. From move in to move out, we have been very pleased. The staff is friendly, maintenance requests are taken care of quickly, and the amenities are nice. This is a great location for commuting to Emory and gives convenient access to 85 and 75. Im always afraid of apartments with thin walls and a lot of noise but our apartment was nice and quiet and I rarely heard our neighbors. The move out process was easy. Other reviews here made me nervous that we might see unexpected charges at move out, but this didnt happen. Ive also seen reviews that complain about parking, but we never had trouble finding a spot and if youre really worried about this, you can pay to reserve a space. Definitely check this place out!
Ive lived at Tuscany for a long time, went through several management teams and property owners. The reason I rate this complex so much now is mainly due to its terrible current management, simply terrible. They very clearly love the money more than love to give you an upscale experience. Residents pay between $1300 to $2500 to live at the complex. They should get nothing but stellar service. The front office staff is great. They are meant to sell you on things and they do it well, but I do believe they still care about the residents. However, the Venterra managers at Tuscany anger me to a level I have never experienced with any other company due to how poorly they handle me as a resident. They have no idea how to win a resident over and think throwing little parties are gonna do the job. Management in this complex needs a serious reality check specially knowing the strong competition they have around them with newer complexes in the vicinity within the same price range. It hasnt always been like this, only in the past year or two my experience with them has gotten progressively distasteful. Maintenance guys are always great, prompt to come and resolve issues (they just need to be given shoe protectors instead of stepping on our carpets with work shoes on when they just stepped on peoples bathrooms and such). Pool area is great, landscape is beautiful and serene, parking issues have been remedied with decals, but break ins happen a lot with zero communication about it to residents (old management team used to always let us know even though it was bad to see so many break ins in an upscale area and community. Now we find out through other residents and the cops). Even though they still have this issue a lot, they refuse to hire full time security. You see them here and there but there have been times where they should have been there and werent. Gate is always broken, water bugs galore, and whenever they have a more major complex-wide issue that they do care to share with us, we only receive an Im sorry email, nothing more, which again shows their carelessness towards residents who are paying a boat load of money to live there. For what is considered an upscale apartment complex, they sure havent learned how to offer an upscale enough experience to residents yet.
Awesome tour and visit. Thanks.
Was really considering applying here during my tour, but after we came back They said the rent price went up $100 & they wouldn’t honor the price she originally quoted... it was there mistake and a waste of my time! SMH at them!
Best apartment ive ever lived in hands down. quick maintenance, office that cares, and the buildings and apartments look and feel beautiful
Unfortunately, I am not able to recommend this apartment complex for multiple reasons. Here are some PROS: The location is great b/c it is in the Buckhead District and its nearby to shopping, the Lindbergh MARTA, restaurants, and other parts of the city (i.e, Midtown, North Druid Hills, etc.); and the complex has a well-equipped gym.The CONS are: My apartment was not prepped by management prior to my move-in. The garbage disposal was leaking, the walls throughout the apartment were not evenly painted, the front door did not shut properly, and nails were sticking up through the living room carpet. It took the paint crew that the complex hired 3 times to evenly apply paint to the walls throughout the apartment! It was really odd that painting walls in an apartment was such an issue. Another major CON was that a pipe burst in the utility closet and flooded the carpet in my hallway about 1 1/2 months after I moved in. The emergency maintenance crew did clean up the mess, but I was never offered a discount off my rent due to all of these issues that occurred within such a short period of my move-in. A major CON with the complex is that people who own pets allow their dogs to poop in the hallways and on the stairs! This has happened multiple times and it is absolutely disgusting. I like to be able to walk to and from my apartment without seeing dog turds and this has been an issue at times. And last but certainly not least, another CON is that this apartment complex has a SERIOUS roach problem. I have killed 2 roaches that managed to get into my apartment through the cracks and gaps in my front door. I also have seen several LARGE roaches throughout the interior hallways of the building I live in and in the stairwells and outside the building in the walkways. About 2 weeks ago, I observed a HUGE roach that was perched right above the doorway of an apartment that was 2 doors down from my own apartment! In all the years that I have been a renter, I have never witnessed roaches in any of the apartment complexes that I previously lived in. Its unfortunate that the complex has pest control but doesnt seem to ACTIVELY and CONSISTENTLY use it to treat the walkways, the interior hallways in the buildings, and the exterior of the buildings.Just be aware that this complex has its issues and may not be worth the price that you may pay. I only resigned my lease because I was unaware of the roach issue throughout the complex which is noticeable now that the weather is much warmer; and I was able to keep my rate at the same price as my initial lease due to all the issues with the apartment when I moved in.
If I could give it a zero I would. They took 190$ for nothing from my deposit and I was suffering from broker AC which resulted in a high bill!!!! DO NOT LIVE THERE!Worst place to live ever! The new “manager” is horrible and one of the workers there “T”. The hallway is disgusting, they don’t clean it! They were horrible in communication until we told them were moving they started being nice and started to convince us but once we made up are mind they went back. The old management was waaaay better. NOT WORTH A DOLLAR, right in front of it there’s a lot of apartments with good prices and close prices that’s worth it.
Really do not recommend this place to anyone. The roaches are seriously out of control. The pool is nice, but dare you go there when the sun is setting roaches will literally fly on to you. Their new parking rule is totally unacceptable. Their customer service has gone down the drain with in months. And they have the audacity to raise rent by a singnificatnly high amount. Honestly save yourself the hastle and move in to another place.
Wish I could give negative stars. Never any parking, always dirty, so tired of dead roaches and cigarettes in the hallway. Way over priced for what they actually deliver. Moving across the street when this is over. They really think this is a luxury property but it’s glorified mediocrity at best. And that corny generic reply they give people who complain on here shows their lack of care “we’re sorry you had a bad experience, please call or email our office to discuss your concerns” like DUH I’ve done that a million times, don’t act considerate for the internet lol
Beware that upon move out they will nickel and dime you with fees and tell you there is nothing they can do about it. I will say that the maintenance staff is really great though, but I still wouldn’t recommend.
Ive lived here since October of 2014 and Ive noticed that the management has gotten progressively worse throughout the years. I will try to highlight each one of the major issues that Ive encountered so please bear with me.1.) Picking up after your pets - I recently got a puppy in the last year, and I always pick up after him. If you live here and have a dog and do the same, youll notice that it will seem like you are the ONLY one that picks up after your pet as theres gobs of dog poop throughout the trail and jsut overall, throughout the entire complex near bag stations. To their credit, they send emails out reminding residents to pick up after their pets and a warning that they will be fined if they fail to do so. But due to the sheer amount of dog poop throughout the complex, it makes you wonder if they really do follow through. They are slow to or often neglect replenishing the pet waste bags. Currently, the station by my building hasnt been replenished in almost 2 months.2.) Onsite Security Guard Actually Waves at Speeding Driver that Runs a Stop Sign - Upon arriving home from CVS one night, I witnessed a car speeding from the big parking deck and run through the stop sign (approximately 7:50 PM November 30).The onsite security officer not only did not stop the guy but waived at him. This is COMPLETELY AND ENTIRELY UNACCEPTABLE as Ive brought the stop sign to the attention of the leasing office before as a safety concern when I was almost hit by a car running the stop sign.I have never seen an email from Tuscany management warning residents to please stop at the stop sign and not speed throughout the complex.3.) Being charged late fees for packages that are not yours - they recently implemented a new package locker system for their residents. Just recently, a package notification email was mistakenly sent to me for a package belonging to another resident with the same last name. Upon opening the locker and finding out the package wasnt mine, I closed the locker leaving the package inside and immediately sent the leasing office an email stating this as well as detailing the name of the resident the package was addressed to as well as his/her apartment number. Not surprisingly, the leasing office did not read my email, and I received an email from the system stating I would be charged a late fee for this package that wasnt even mine.4.) Incompetent management forgets to sign my lease renewal - On November 18th 2018, I electronically signed my lease renewal for 2019. Thinking that this was sufficient, I was surprised to get an email on January 1st stating that I could not pay my lease online because my lease renewal was still pending.I call the leasing office to find out whats going on and low and behold, MANAGEMENT DID NOT SIGN OFF ON MY RENEWAL for an unknown reason. They told me that since management has not signed their end of the lease, my renewal was never valid. Keep in mind, I electronically signed my portion on NOVEMBER 18, 2018. So for 40+ days management neglected to do their job, and I was almost forced to pay a late fee for rent when the issue was 100% Venterra Realtys fault.--Epilogue: I do not expect this to be the last of my issues given my history with this company and their management, therefore, Ill update this review accordingly.Special note to Tuscany Management: I do NOT accept your prepackaged NPC response to my legitimate concerns and issues with your managements ineptitude.
I would like to rate them better, but boy did their coustomer service went down. And they hike up the price for current residents by a significant margin. I don’t get it!! Too much.
The apartment does not have the fastest internet cable service, but they do have by far the fastest and most responsive maintenance service I’ve ever seen.
Beautiful layout of the grounds....looks very European, just like you were actually in Italy. The upgrades all around are gorgeous, make you proud to live there. There are resident activites; live music food and drinks by the pool... amenities galore! They even have a signature drink the Tuscan Sun or something like that..lol and a food truck comes by. BUT! Then the overwhelming smell of garbage hits you as you enter/ exit your apartment. They offer valet trash service that does not help the smell any. And I have seen rats at the garbage run in front of my car. BUMP. THAT!
Terrible place. The only good things was the staff and the buildings. Their contracts are awful and get you in with low rent and then hit you with exiting fees.I feel bad for the staff who work there and have to put up with their corporate BS.
The community looks lovely when you move in. Its in a pretty good location, buildings and facilities are fairly new and well maintained, and the onsite staff can be very welcoming and friendly. The maintenance team usually resolves service requests in a day or two, which is not always the case in other apartment complexes. There is also a 30 day period during which you can break out of your lease with no penalty, a very nice gesture. I enjoyed my stay at Tuscany mostly, but decided to move out due to a few more critical issues, as I describe below.TL;DR: Its a good place if you wont stick around for more than a year or two, and dont care much about health/environmental concerns.First, our apartment is mostly carpeted and there was a huge amount of drywall dust in the carpet. We were not aware of this when we moved in and duly shocked when our new vacuum cleaner arrived. We tried it on the carpet and soon collected a full tank of fine dust before we even finished the living room. Needless to say, it was impossible to get all of it out of the carpet, and it promptly ruined our vacuum cleaner. The dust may well contain silica or other hazardous material which can lead to permanent lungs damage, not to mention all the short term allergy & respiratory issues. It makes me cringe to think of the days we unknowingly walked, sat and played on the carpet, breathing in air comparable to that on a construction site. Im shocked that the management, seemingly homely and caring for the residents in other aspects, couldnt be more thoughtful with the wall work, or at least warn us as we moved in.Second, the toilets in these apartments are not very efficient. Our toilet uses a lot of water to flush and frequently gets clogged. All the light bulbs are also incandescent and do not emit much light.Third, the pool area has been closed since late February through late April, and not yet opened when I moved out. It is not only a substantial reduction to the amenities, as the pool area is essentially the only outdoor common area in the community, but also inconvenient as it cuts off the shortest path to the gym and the main entrance.Lastly, as our lease approached its end we were offered to renew, at rates much higher than the market rates our unit was posted online for. Obviously the management believes enough people will choose paying $200 more a month over going through the hassle of moving to make this cheeky move profitable. It might be the common practice here, but it does make the statement we value you as a resident sound hypercritical. I actually feel bad for the staff who have to execute such ridiculous, predatory policy after all that theyve done to build rapport with their residents.
Think well I need too see if you can return the room of stuff
First off, watch out for the hidden fees! They answer the phone how can i make your day better with no intention of solving any issue. They speak like robots and repeat themselves until you hang up. Horribe customer service and overpriced. They moved us twice because the first one wasnt ready. I had to physically go into their package receiving room to find my box that they told me hadnt arrived. And finally they charged me $25 for a curtain rod upon move out when there wasnt one there in the first place! Very dissapointed.
Christmas Eve midnight, our deadbolt decided not to work. my boyfriend, our service dog, and myself were all locked out . Both keys did not work and was attempted for over an hour. We called emergency maintaince to express our concern, but the maintenance guy was no help. After telling him about my severe asthma and how my inhaler was inside along with my boyfriends work laptop, Ron, refused to help us, telling us his manager told him they are unable to open our apartment due to verification purposes. After telling him one of us have our IDs, unit key and gate card as proof, he still refused. After asking him if he could transfer us to his manager, he rudely hung up on us. We are highly disappointed in how this was . We even had to drive over an hour to my second house in Athens to pick up my inhaler. Obviously this place only cares about your money and nothing else!
This place has a serious pest problem ! Especially on the 1st floor a roach came out of my tub when i was showering creepy ! And im barely home every time i come back its a bug greeting me ! I awoke one morning with something crawling on my skin !
