Great group of guys giving exceptional haircuts. I visited from out of town, and am sad we don’t have a place like this here! Best haircut/beard trim I’ve ever gotten, and that was under the pressure of knowing I was getting married a few hours later. Go here if you want a legit barber shop experience from guys who are out to make a name for themselves. Dude was still knocking hairs off my mustache while I was paying to make sure I looked perfect. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

After visiting Asheville Barber Company I quickly realized that instead of going to overpriced salons for most of my life, I really should been frequenting a barber shop that specializes in shorter hairstyles. I randomly choose Tyler from the roster of barbers, who just happened to be the owner, but I imagine any of his crew will do a fantastic job. Tyler was professional and enjoyable to conversate with and he gave me the best haircut I have had in recent memory. The barber shop is new and clean and has a convenient location with plenty of parking. I also picked up a cigar to enjoy later that day. All around great experience!

Came in wanting a Tapered & Textured Long French Crop with the barber Ogi(?) who had never done or known about a french crop before. Showed him one or two pictures with a basic explanation and he had clearly outdone himself! Loving the cut, and also had a good talk throughout it. Everyone myself included is real happy with the cut. Give this man a raise!

I called asking for prices, shocked to hear $30 for what i needed, a simple 1 on the side, 2 on top. Jerad was my barber and after seeing the difference between my usual $15 cut at Toms Barber Shop and this $30 cut, its worth the difference. Nothing against Tom and the gang, but if im doing a casual week around town or in the woods, a simple cut and trim at $15 is perfect but never before have i had someone *meticulously* work on my simple cut and it really makes a difference. Check Jerad out, hes def worth the higher(ish) price.

Tyler cuts my hair at ABC and I followed him over from the last shop he worked at because of how good he is.I love the vibe at ABC - beer on tap - outdoor seating and parking available right outside the shop and great tunes playing with an authentic barber shop feel. Everyone I have met in there is wonderful, professional and considers their job an art form, which I believe it is.I have received more compliments on my haircut then I ever had in the past prior to going to Tyler. I was told in an elevator recently by a guy who said he was a barber from out of town, then it was the best fade he had seen.I use the app to make reservations and I have never had to wait. i know that ABC accommodates walk-ins, but I would encourage you to book online. And hell, even if you do have to wait a minute - grab a beer and chill outside - you could even have a cigar from the humidor.Cant say enough great things about ABC.And to the one dude who complained about the price - go back to super cuts, punk.

I looked these guys up online on a trip to Asheville. I picked first available and got hooked up with Ogi. He was great to work with and did a wonderful job getting me trimmed up for some work meetings I needed to attend. I will certainly return in the future and ask for Ogi. Go check them out. When I first moved to Asheville, I used Google reviews to try and find the best spot possible. luckily I walked in to the shop Tyler was working at the time, and just by chance he was the one to give me a cut. THE FRESHEST CUTS!! Over the past years I had gotten my haircut from 2 other people at his former shop, because he was not working. Wow that was a mistake!!! After that I always made sure I called to make sure that Tyler was working, and I happily sat on the waiting list to make sure that he was the one that cut my hair. Now that he has opened his own shop, my only reaction was ITS ABOUT TIME! Great cuts, great atmosphere, good conversation, good laughs, and his location could not be easier to get to and find parking free all over. No more paying to park downtown and then walking all the way to the shop. I never write reviews... but Tyler deserves beyond 5/5 stars ⭐️ . Not only a great barber, but a great personality to go along with it.

I stumbled upon this little gem on an outing to the local Walgreens.. it’s conveniently in the same parking lot! I decided to give them a call and they fit me into their busy schedules and had an appointment for me within a few hours. They paired me with Ashley.. what a doll! She listened intently to what I was looking for in a haircut.. and asked questions along the way to ensure my haircut was exactly what I was looking for. Being a woman at a barber shop.. I felt nothing short of incredibly welcomed. The owner was a ball of fun and the overall atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. Did I mention they gave me a free draft IPA with my haircut?? There is an outdoor seating area to enjoy your beverage.. they even have cigars available if you’d like a pairing.. I will undoubtedly be back for my cuts in the future!

My husband hadn’t had a hair cut since March. When we finally decided to go somewhere, we wanted it to be somewhere where we knew did excellent work and where we felt safe to go during this time. We felt extremely safe going to Asheville Barber Company as they are upholding the highest safety precautions during COVID-19 (taking temperatures upon arrival, supplying masks, providing hand sanitizer stations). The cut my husband got looked awesome, and he enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere of ABC was fun, and they are developing a space outside where you can hang out while someone is getting a cut or you’re waiting for your own. Tyler (the owner) is talented, and you feel like you’re talking to an old friend when you talk to him, and Michelle (his wife) is personable and kind. I recommend Asheville Barber Company if you’re looking for a place that does excellent work, where you’ll feel safe to go during COVID-19, and where you will enjoy both the atmosphere and the people who work there.

Tyler has been cutting my hair and beard for several years now. When he told me he was opening his own shop, I told him he better make it the best one in town.After getting cut in there today, I can say without a doubt, he did not disappoint. The shop is clean and welcoming. Covid precautions are in place because its 2020, wear a mask, all the cool kids are doing it. The chairs are comfortable and as always the haircut is 100% on point. The staff is very welcoming, even while working on Labor Day.Hes getting beer and a humidor full of cigars to launch a beerd garden in the not too distant future, so keep an eye out for that. Im looking forward to many great cuts in the future.

I’ve had cuts by both Tyler and Hunter at ABC. They were both friendly and made sure every hair was in place. ABC has a relaxed yet profession vibe and the shop is super clean. When I came in they were nice people and were able to get me a cut without an appointment. Although asking for a pretty simple cut I was charged 35 dollars for something I could have gotten for 20 in the city. I asked for a mid-length skin fade with a little off the top to “even it out on top”. Walking out of the barber it was an okay cut, but the next day I realized the fade on only my right right of my head was choppy and not even finished, and the left side of my head had longer hair than the right which was completely the opposite of what I requested. I would recommend another barber if you want a cut worth your time and money.

Just went for the first time today and the experience was great! Ashley got me right in ad soon as they opened up. To be honest I usually shave my head but I needed a beard trim and I was tired of shaving and these guys seem like they did great work so I figured I’d check them out.
