The staff at this location are all very nice and Ive been getting pretty consistent haircuts despite seeing different stylists almost every time. I found it hard to give anything above 3 stars just because of availability. Even with the app, trying to check in is nearly impossible. This location is almost always at full capacity. Im not sure if its a staffing issue, but looking forward to this improving over time.

Did the online check in then drove 30 minutes to the shop. Got there & waited an additional 20 minutes only to watch the stylist mess up the wait board by erasing my name & seat the customer after me. When I got up to tell her she apologized then explained she still had to cut the other customers hair first since he had already sat down in the chair. After another half hour wait she informed me they had lost the system notes on how i like my hair cut; which she blamed on the computer system. Those notes had been used for at least 3 years with no issue until today. Unfortunately I wont be going back. Now time to find another barber

Went there for the first time today because it was the only hair salon near my apartment that opens early. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they did exactly as shown. Im amazed on how it turned out.

Rosalie at this location is an absolute saint! After taking my 21 month old son to Great Clips, where they butchered his hair, she worked wonders with what was left. She was sweet, kind, and so talented while working with him. I am a customer for life! Thank you, Sports Clips.

Made an appointment online. Checked and it said check in again so I did it again after an hour wait. When I reach the place I was informed by my hairdresser that my appointments were canceled by another hairdresser named Katie. I didnt even ask for Katie I book with Leigh Anne and have been for a whole now. I was told I couldnt be there when Katie was there, I have never had any interaction with Katie. Asked for customer service and where to complain did not get any help. Very unprofessional.

After sitting there for an hour. They didnt even acknowledge us sitting there, absolutely the rudest and we wont be back.

They have always given my son a great haircut, and the one time they didnt, they made it right when we went back. Professional. Quick. Polite. Great with kids.

Once I was in the chair the lady asked me what style I wanted. I told her that I wanted a 1 on the top and faded to a 0 on the side. She pick up a trimmer that had no guard on it and went right across the top of my head with it. At that point I just sat there because it was too late at that point. Later in the haircut she asked me what was wrong and I told her how she was supposed to cut it. She did apologize but I figured my haircut would have been free or at least discounted at that point but she never mentioned it.

Though not interested in sports at all, the package for getting a haircut here is amazing. Every one I’ve been to (across many states), has been the same quality and positive experience. Just tune out the sports if you’re like me

Check-In/Scheduling was nonsensical and confusing, but otherwise everything was great. Checked wait time and it said 56 mins, checked again 3 mins later and it said 32 minutes, checked-in, and got a text within 2 mins that said chair would be ready in 16 mins, arrived 4 mins later and the wait time reverted back to 30+ minutes. However, once actually seated in the chair Abby did a wonderful job and was a pleasure to talk to.

So just walked in, checked in, showed my name on the board with a one minute wait. I was the only person waiting. One stylist finished, comes and gets a guy that arrived ten minutes after me and didn’t check in online. Looks at me and says “oh there is three of us so you shouldn’t wait long” and takes the other guy back. This is usually my go to spot but I’m pretty shocked at her non caring about my schedule and moving along as it’s no big deal.I ask her about it and she says “I am not allowed to vary from the list”. Then another stylist does the same thing.I am in a customer service related business. This is a poor representation of the company.The one bright spot was Samantha. In a situation already messed up, she remained calm, professional and relaxed. She did a great job making it better

Im a regular, and my rating is based on my overall experience over many years. I find I consistently leave Sports Clips Biltmore Park happy. Ive had 1 star haircuts here before, but those have been very few and far between. Anytime Ive been unsatisfied with a cut, they have bent over backwards to try and rectify the situation, which is noticed and appreciated!Im a fan of the MVP, it isnt earth shattering but it is a nice treat for yourself if you want.The managers at this location are very good, they remember you and can carry a conversation, or just let you relax and get a haircut, whatever your mood that day is. I have had the unpleasant shock in the past if a 2.5 hour wait-list, but I know theyve hammered out their staffing issues and I personally havent had more than a 30 minute wait in several months. Overall Im very happy to get my hair cut here!

This is my favorite store and I have been doing sports clips for years and also in many different states. I drive over 2 hours just so they can cut my hair. I wont go to the sports clips near my house.

Your poor customer service doesnt go unnoticed, and your easy online check in doesnt do anybody any good if youre rude to everyone who walks through your doors. There are several EXCELLENT barbers in South Asheville who treat all of their customers with respect. I would recommend any of them over this place.

My wife used to manage one of these places and they definitely didnt come from the same ideology of cutting hair. I went back to my Airbnb and I had patches of missed hair everywhere. I went back the next day to get it fixed and the girl did the best she could but still wasnt great.

Ive been in 4 times since they opened and had 4 different stylist. They were all great! Very professional, know what theyre doing. It is definitely worth it to pay a couple bucks more to get a great haircut here instead of the other chains who always seem to find a way to mess it up. Getting to watch ESPN while they cut my hair was a cool bonus and the free neck trims between haircuts is a great option for anyone who wants to always look sharp. Great place, definitely a repeat customer!

Let me be clear that my review is a reflection of OWNERSHIP, not of the stylists. I have been getting my haircut here consistently since they opened. The Online Check-In process is meant to be a convenience to the customer, but it is more of a frustration than a help. I work in Biltmore Park and have limited lunch breaks. The notion of being able to check-in online to reduce my wait time is fantastic. However, each time I use this feature, I arrive and still have to wait. When I signed in the website suggested I arrive at 2:31. I was there at 2:26 and was projected another 35 minute wait. Just allow appointments already.

Slowest service ever. There is absolutely no sense of urgency here or respect for clients time. This is a place where you are obviously a customer not a client. They took 10 minutes to perfect a chalkboard sign that read, 45 min wait. Angry women who are calling customers that have already left and are surprised they have. Now they are having a meeting about what to do when customers leave without telling them and they are griping at each other. Very sad. Im sure this is not the business model Sport Clips intended.

Been waiting 40 minutes while two ppl who got here after me AND also selected FIRST AVAILABLE, went ahead of me. Im guessing cuz Im the only black person in here. Will Never be back. You lose on the billions African Americans spend on haircuts each year! Lol

Sport Clips is a great place for all Men and Boys to be treated like a true MVP! With the guy smart stylist, and laid back sports atmosphere, it is an experience you will never forget. We recommend everyone to check in online to cut back your wait time. There is now an app conviently available to download on your Android or iPhone that allows you to sign in ahead of time and will then give you an ESTIMATED arrival time of when to be there. Yes the online check ins come before our walk ins because it puts their name at the top of the list. So we advise everyone to check in online ! Sometimes the wait will be a little longer, due to finishing up a client sitting in our chair, or we happened to take somebody back right before you got there. Thats when the walk ins benefit!! Everyones time is valuable, and we want to give you the best haircut experience of your life. Come see us ! 😉👌

The worst haircut i’ve ever had. i would let the three blind mice cut my hair before i go back there again. it’s honestly astonishing how bad she listened to my input on my own haircut.

Online check-in is bullsh!t. I had been waiting 30 minutes for my turn, the screen says 10 minutes, then three people can walk right in and you knock me back 45 minutes because “they checked in online”. BS!!! My time is valuable too!

Usually most people make small talk that is just unbearable, but Kristen was very professional yet it felt like the type of person I could have a conversation without thinking please just cut my hair so I can leave. Horrible experience! I signed in online with a very difficult process just to find out we had to still wait an hour when we arrived. Katherine was the stylist for my 10 year old son. She was not friendly and initially took 5 minutes to cut my son’s hair. After which i explained we didnt want 4 inches of hair in his eyes. Then the stylist comes back to tell me she found nits in my sons hair. By the way, I am a RN and it was dandruff. Well after arguing w me and making my son feel completely embarrassed and uncomfortable, another stylist intervened that it was in fact dandruff. That stylist could use more education amd professional skills! Not a kid friendly spot and we wont be back!!

Made an account to check in online, told by website to arrive at 5:03. Walk in at 5, with no one in the waiting area and I’m thinking this is great. Wait to 5:20 for one of the two stylists to finish with their customer, she makes eye contact with me (still the only person in waiting area) while checking guy out, then goes back to the barber area. 5:30 rolls around and another guy walks in, the same stylist that made eye contact comes out to meet him and immediately calls him back while he apologizes for being 20 mins late. I stood up and left. I worked retail for years and I always rolled my eyes when customers said they would never come back to a store, but after the blatant disrespect for me and my time, I’ll get my hair cuts else where.

Arrived at sportclips during my vacation and thirty minutes outside and other people were called for service before me. They never called me back for service nor showed any concern to someone sitting outside prior to other customers arrival. Super unprofessional
