Loved it! Been going since I was 6 or 7 years old, they always remember us and make us part of the family. Great cuts and a great price, really gets a family feel going.

Im picky about how my hair is cut..too many times the barber/stylist knew better and ignored my wishes. Not here. Linda did an excellent job cutting and trimming while providing sparkling conversation. This former New Yorker highly recommends Joe Kings. A++!

Best place ever. This is a small but mighty barbershop with a great owner named Susan. She and her staff are very friendly, nice, down to earth, laid back, and professional southern hospitality people. If this sounds good to you give it a try.

No mask use. Increased price to 20$. Good haircut but nothing too challenging. Ten minutes to cut . Only take cash but have an overpriced atm that they get a cut on the fee.

Absolutely not a barber shop. Do not go here if you want any sort of fade or cut using clippers. 100% worst experience in 10 yrs. Not experienced barbers. Should take the sign down and stick with coloring old womens hair

I have been looking for a place to call my barber for years was was referred to joe kings by my boss. spoke with Sue the owner amazing lady i set up a appointment and came in had my haircut & beard cut by Linda. was a awesome experience by far the best place in Asheville for a hair cut Linda spent the time to make sure lines were clean and straight done. Out of a 1-5 stare the deserve a 10. If you havent stopped by I highly recommend you do. You will not be disappointed. Thanks again Linda and sue. I will be back next week .

I was visiting friends and family in asheville and looking for a quick buzz. My barber did a great job and the conversation was friendly and enjoyable. I was worried they wouldnt know how to cut black (African American) hair, but my concerns did not come to fruition at least for a simple even buzz cut.

Quality haircuts at a reasonable price. Walk ins are welcome. Friendly staff.

Worst haircut experience I have had in 20 years. Had little to no regard for what I wanted, she just wanted to cut my hair as fast as she could. Afterward I had to buzz my hair to makeup for the terrible haircut.

Too quick, felt rushed, and I was the only customer. I personally dont go to a barber to get in and out as quick as possible, but if you do then this is your place.
