I learned about this watch repair shop years ago - and wont go anywhere else... I have a lot of watches - I pick up old, new, foreign, expensive and cheap. And every time I have an issue, the watch comes here... The owner and watch genius has been doing this for a long time - everything from wristwatches to grandfather clocks. And - I have dealt with Omega, Rolex, and Seiko directly - he is the most straightforward repair guy you will find. If it needs a battery - he will typically throw one in while you wait and charge you just for the battery. If it is a broken mainspring - he will run down the parts, give you the estimate - and if you think its too much or the watch isnt worth it, no charge. And he handles everything in between: straps, polishing, antique clock and watch refurb, etc. He even took my practically hand made mechanical chronograph - a limited watch made by a small workshop - which wasnt engaging the second hand. I thought for sure this was damaged and would be a send back to the watchmaker, wait 6 months, and pay half the cost of the watch job. But no - it was fixed and running beautifully in a week, for an extremely reasonable price. In all my travels - he is the only watch shop I feel comfortable with in the past 25 years... I wouldnt hesitate to take anything watch related to him - you will get good honest service from an expert.

Lee Tang is a magician. Not only is his pricing reasonable, but his turnaround time is unbeatable. I was here on 12/07 for a battery replacement that took no more than 6 minutes to finish. Incredible service!

Id give 6 stars if that was an option. 24 Hr. Clockworks fixed a very complex and very old ships clock--and went to great lengths to make sure it was right. Works perfectly! Great job and excellent customer service.

We had two old clocks repaired here with repairs completed this year. One was repaired in good time and works better than it ever has. The other we left much longer ago and Mr. Lee completely rebuilt the works, although he did not think he would need to at the outset.That clock had been purchased 50 years ago and was an antique at the time. It is such a pleasure to have it working again. We have also had watches evaluated and repaired here. I would highly recommend 24 Hour Watch and Clockworks for excellent work and customer service.

As the owner we have some customers that appreciate our service and then we have customers that have been with us since we opened in 2008. And then those that are not satisfied. But we continue to provide skilled services no matter what. Battery watch bands services on high end time pieces grandfather clocks mantle and wall clocks. As a woman entrepreneur I hope that I have provided services to the utmost importance.

I made the mistake of trying to replace my watch battery myself in a Tissot watch that I own. I thought Id lost the gasket, and couldnt get the back to snap back on.Anyway, I took it to 24 hour watch and clock repair on Wilson blvd in Arlington, and the woman who fixed it was amazing. She fixed it in under 30 seconds and only charged me $5.Ive had this happen before with other watches and occasionally you get lectured by places about replacing your own battery etc., but this woman was so pleasant and simply fixed it for me. The gentleman there, who I suspect was her father, was so knowledgeable, as I asked him about some issues Ive been having with one of my automatic watches. He took the time to explain what the issue was, and told me how to do some simple tests at home.This is one of those small, family run business that are hard to find these days. If you need any type of watch repair, please consider going to this place. You will not be disappointed. They are truly amazing and do great work.

Inside the unassuming shop at 5150 Wilson Blvd in Arlington is an outstanding watch expert.While a watch shop in McLean wanted me to spend $300 on repair of my favorite watch, 24 Hour Clockworks simply said my watch needed a fresh battery. They checked it over and found nothing else wrong with the mechanism.Applause for 24 Hr Clockworks.

Excellent service. I had an emergency as I needed watches fixed but would be away for a long while. The shop was closed, but the owner replied to my request within a few hours, and opened the shop up for a few hours, just for me. As I said - excellent service, very friendly folks!

Outstanding craftsmanship wonderful customer service

Lee is great. And fair. And little things like swapping a strap he usually just does for free. As a bit of a watch nut, hes great to have nearby. Adjusts his hours for his customers too if youre in a jam or running behind.

I came in to the shop needing to get a band replaced on a smart watch and I also needed to have a band sized down on a citizen watch. Mr. Lee was able to fix both watches in less than 10 minutes!!! This guy was amazing and he only charged me for one of the watches!

Thanks to friendly and prompt service by Dee Marie and Mr. Lee: My (several years broken) Mickey Mouse watch now has Mickey re-glued on the face and standing properly! Also had two watch batteries replaced ($10 each). Great watch services.

First time there today for minor fixes on two watches. I got attentive service, excellent work, and fair price. Couldn’t be happier.

These guys are great. They are friendly, fast, cheap, and convenient. Fixed my favorite watch Id had sitting around broken for a year. I am happy to give them my watch-related business whenever I need anything.

Last month, I stopped by the first time to ask about my pocket watch not able to set the time. Mr. Lee helped me to do it without charging. This month, I stopped by again to ask for an estimate for servicing my other pocket watch and he quoted a very reasonable price. I definitely will come again for future service.

This place is a find!! A real watchmaker, old clocks everywhere, nice, honest people. A great place to get your old clock or fine watch repaired. They replaced the battery in my not-so-fine watch, $10. I wish I had a grandfather clock for them to repair!

I stopped in because my watch was losing time and the last jeweler I took it too messed up my stretch band. My battery was quickly change and the very nice lady working here then sat down at her bench to figure out the problem was with my watch band. After a bit of trial and error she was able to identify a pin that had been incorrectly inserted when the previous jeweler had removed links for me. She quickly fixed the pin and I couldnt even tell which link had been the problem anymore. It was a perfect fix. Ill definitely be back.

This shop had my quartz watch for 11 weeks and did nothing with it despite my going back to talk to them twice. This weekend I went back again, still no action - and I said its ridiculous that theyve not done anything. The owner said thats OK. Incredulous, I asked what he meant. He said Its ok, we dont want your business. On March 23, I brought my watch to this shop as it had stopped running. The watch had a special long-life battery no longer made. Several days later the owner texted me telling me it would cost $125 to replace the movement to one that would accept a regular battery. I told him to go ahead. Several weeks later, not hearing anything, I went back to the shop. The owners wife(?) searched around the shop, found the watch after a few minutes and said she didnt know which movement to order. So she went to the owner to straighten it out. I thought theyd proceed. Several more weeks pass, so I went to the shop and found they were out for Memorial Day weekend.So I wait another week and call to see if theyre in. The answering machine is full so I go to the shop and find a sign saying theyre out of town on business --- I think a thoughtful business owner would have left a voice message indicating their absence. This past Saturday, I went back and they told me they hadnt done anything. I said you guys are really ridiculous, youve had this watch over two months! Thats OK, he says, thats ok. Astonished, I asked what he meant. Its OK, we dont want your business.Theres a lot of good reviews on this business --- but in my experience, theyre worthless unless you just need a battery or a watch band. Id NEVER go there for anything important, like regulating my Omega or other fine Swiss watches.

I walked in with 4 watches that needed new batteries, one of which needed the second hand to be re-threaded as well. They took them all and had them shipshape in less than 10 minutes! I will recommend to anyone looking for watch servicing.

I wish I could rate this shop with 0 stars! Terrible terrible service - I do NOT recommend trusting your time piece with this shop. After keeping my Chelsea clock for over 6 months my mother finally had to drive to the shop and request to have the clock back. This man then insulted my mother, screamed at her to get out of his shop, and stated that he didnt have the time to WASTE working on my clock, because he had a more expensive piece that he was working on. Not only was my clock returned unfixed, but it was also minus the beautiful glass cover that protected its face. The owner fed us some story about the glass having a small chip and needing to special order a new piece which would take 6 - 8 months to receive, hence why he didnt have it yet. When my clock was dropped off there was no such chip in the glass - what it really comes down to is he either broke it or decided to reuse it on another project hoping we were just stupid enough to believe him. This clock, while it needed some TLC, was part of my grandfathers collection and VERY special to me. Needless to say it is now ruined and will cost me even more to fix - I have never been more disappointed about something. Im not quite sure why this man thinks it is ok to treat customers in such a poor manner!!!

I dropped two watches off several months ago. Havent heard a peep from the husband / wife duo that run this store. Called them advising that I would be by to pick up my watches and cancel my request for repair, however they asked me to give them a little more time and that they could have my watches ready soon. No word as of yet. I plan to go in person to pick up my watches up as is and will never visit this store again. I do not recommend this store to anyone who values their property and values good customer service. You will be extremely disappointed. I seriously dont understand how this store remains in business.

I brought in two watches: a Junghans needing crystal replacement, a Longines needing a new band and which I was recycling the butterfly clasp. The store is nothing special, although I am used to working with independent watch repair stores and the prices were reasonable. I left my watches and received a work ticket with an estimated turnaround of 2-3 weeks.6 weeks later I called the store to check on my watches. The woman who answered said she did not have an order corresponding to my ticket. Concerned, I promptly drove over.The owner immediately recognized me, although it took some time to find my watches as the order paperwork had been lost on their end. The work was complete, although the band on the Longines was a few mm off at the clasp. The owner was quick to say he wasnt charging for the crystal replacement ($60) due to the delay, which I was grateful for.On wearing the Junghans a few days later however I found why he had been quick to get me out of the store. The face had been damaged, with something abrading the dial around the 6 oclock position. Its clear that something impacted the face during the crystal removal or re installation.
