This is the best gym Ive ever been to. Been working out here for 6 weeks and its been great. Everyone in here is driven and motivated and its impossible not to feel that energy. I cant stand the corporate gym feel and this is the opposite. A true competitors gym. Everyone on staff is helpful, truly good guys. Also something about working out at Ronnie Colemans place that just amps you up. LIGHT WEIGHT BABY!

Ive always wanted to train at Metroflex and yesterday I finally took the time to get a day pass and make it a reality. The environment was electric. There was no one playing on their phone, hogging equipment, doing half reps or standing around talking. Just hard core, old school, real lifting.Some people think that a gym that is so hardcore would be filled with ego maniacs but the reality is this gym is for the truly dedicated that know what they are doing. Its the newbies, trying impress girls at the big chain gyms you have to watch out for.I got a great workout and look forward to making visiting the gym a monthly occurrence.I would suggest bringing an Alan wrench. Most of the plate loaded machines are missing pins. I had to take one and switch a around a few times.

This is definitely one of my favorite gyms to workout, as the atmosphere makes me want to hit it harder than I have anywhere else! The equipment is hardcore, and definitely a place for the like-minded individual. The owner is a great guy, and this place has such a great history! Many big names frequent this location, to which I have had the pleasure of running across multiple times. This is the reason I come to Texas once a year and it is worth it!

Being a member from one of the metroflex gyms on the west coast I had to find a way one day to visit the original and legendary MF! Finally got the opportunity and it was as expected ! There isnt any gym around that can replicate or try to recreate the hardcore no Bs atmosphere that you get the second you walk through the doors. Words cannot describe how inspiring and motivating this place is. Just like sterns gym in San Diego or Golds in Venice I could be here for hours and not even know it, like a kid at Disneyland. If you get an opportunity to come train here do so. Staff was very welcoming to me the second I got there and treated me like family. Best part was getting the opportunity to place my name on the wall in front of Big Ronnies famous 800 squats. Cant wait to come back again.

The mecca what hard core is about, second times the charm!!! came during the beginning of covid-19, and they were closed, but today came back from Chicago to walk into a true hard core facility where legends that have trained!!!

Its a gym, if youre looking for a Goodlife/24 h fitness this is not the place! This is a place that the musics loud, the weights are old and you pick stuff up and put it down! Absolutely amazing vibe! Staff and fellow gym rats are super friendly!

Definitely what I expected, my decision to enroll in this gym was totally correct, this is a hardcore gym to workout, to dominate yourself, if you have a serious focus on training this is the place. If you already have the focus, and the mentality to go all out 100% you will triplicate it in the very first moment you step in this place. This place means gains and champions. Also, Brian is really nice, he makes you feel welcomed at the very first moment you go there.

This is the place where 8th time Mr Olympia champion Ronnie Coleman was trained,and it is the heaven of gym lover and also the 2nd home of Ronnie Coleman.

I am from India and a huge fan of Metroflex Gym will definitely visit and workout here one day.

I drove about an hour from North Dallas to workout here at high noon on a nice hot August day and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The owner was incredibly nice and I cant wait to visit again.

It has been a good four or years since I have worked out here, but I loved it. Back then I was just entering college and I was huge into lifting weights. It was so incredible being able to work out in the same place that the people in those magazines work out in. Even Mr. O, Ronnie Coleman, works out here. This place gave me motivation to continue striving to be the best, both inside the gym and out. I want to thank the people over at Metroflex Gym, and if I ever move out towards the Arlington area I will be back for membership again!

Extremely disappointed. First, their website says they close at 8 on Saturday, so we traveled 4 hours one way to go. Arrived at 5:30 to find that they close a 6, not 8. I understand that this is a hardcore gym, but there were spider webs on the equipment. Hardcore doesnt mean dirty.Maybe it was better in Ronnies day...

Great gym. Been coming for a year. Had to get over the ambience, but they dont pretend to be a fitness club. Its a hardcore gym that sticks to the basics- weights and machines. No need for showers, TVs, chairs, internet, tanning, etc, that stuff is for the birds. Get in and lift! Music could be better, but that why I wear headphones. 5 stars.

I have traveled all the way from the east coast of Canada to train at one of the most world renown gyms, Metroflex. I was not disappointed. well maybe I was a little, because I just missed seeing Branch Warren filming his new Olympia DVD by minutes! But I still had Two fantastic workouts and got to meet IFBBP Por Cory Matthews.

Great atmosphere for serious lifters. Newbees need not be intimidated, the members are generally friendly and helpful. Dont expect to be able to watch TV on while you walk on a treadmill, but if you want a gym with all the right equipment to build a strong body and an atmosphere that will help you lift heavy ass weight, this is it. Loud music, chalk, and grunting are normal here. Membership is also very affordable. Once a year there is a bench and deadlifting competition and wild game feast and Brian Dobson cooks up elk, venison, wild boar, and even black bear for everyone to eat.
