The service was great, my nail tech listened and helped me choose colors for what I wanted. However my only complaint and reason for 3 stars it has not even been a full week yet and my nails are lifting and on the brinx of falling off.

This place used to be awesome. In the years leading up to now they have just declined. There services are not worth there new charges. Dont waste your money here. They are always pushy, charge you differently Everytime you go- even though I get the same services. . The people who work there are never on the same page. Now they are like every other mediocre nail salon. Nothing special, always disappointed with the service I received and what I paid for it. Instead of having a peaceful experience, I always leave more nervous and rushed. They need new management.

My gel is very thick and uneven on my manicure. I asked the gal and she assured me it would level out. As a person that gets gels every two- 3 weeks this is the poorest job I have ever had. I didn’t feel it was very clean. But mainly the gel on thumbs snd several other fingers are all bumpy and uneven- Very disappointing.

They always do a nice job here. The spa pedicure with gel removal and gel polish comes out to $66 which I think is a bit pricey. They charge for a buffer and file (I think $1), but at least it hasnt been used on someone elses feet! If you save the buffer/file you can take it in the next time you go and they wont charge you. They also charge to remove gel polish if you want it soaked off instead of using the dremel tool. This is not cool. Overall a convenient place to go that does a nice job.

I have been going to this Angels on Alameda for the past 6 years. HIGHLY RECCOMEND getting the detox pedi its expensive but one of a kind. Susan is the best and the 2 guys that work there. Dont mistake this Angels for the one on San Pedro you will be disappointed. They actually take time on your pedicure you get the hot stone, wax, hot towels and put a timer on to do your foot massage. Its the best.

This was my favorite place to go. I never went anywhere and I would recommend this place to everyone! I went today and got charged for so many things that are new charges I guess? I felt like they ripped us off honestly... Last time I went and got the same thing and it was about almost $90. Today and I went for my usual mani/pedi gel and it was $125 not including a tip?! I feel like they made up charges, and if they did make new changes, they need to tell their customers next time. It’s usually $45 for each. They kept adding another $5 charge for random things when I was checking out? Like this review if you experience the same issue !

Very disappointed with the service they provided. I got deluxe pedi and mani, pedi service was better compared to mani. When I went there it was empty, as the customers came IN I felt like she just wanted to finish with me and get to the next one who is on wait. She just rubbed the polish on my nails, Its very bad, she didn’t clean them properly, no proper massage, she was in a hurry all the time, details are completely missing. Its definitely not worth the money or the tip which I ended up paying. I checked my nails after I got home and they looked so off. I saw quite few positive reviews about the place and thought I will have a good time but its a worst experience. Never again I am going back to this place. Please check your nails while applying the polish and before you walk out of the place. pay at the end only after checking your service.

Ive been getting pedis for over a year here. They always do a great job (cutting toe nails, soaking feet in scent of choice, wonderful leg massage, scrub and hot wax treatment) Always a treat and I just walk in!

I love to bring my mother here when shes in town. A fun and relaxing activity. The staff is friendly and professional. I always get a wax treatment with massage, pedicure. Super nice to come and hang out. (Please inorge the yellow flip flop, I forgot mine.)

Super unfortunate the way things have started going so downhill.They still did a good job, but their prices have raised and they arent as kind as they used to be.

This place can be good, can be not so good. Brought a friend here yesterday & they had her sit in a chair with her feet in the water for an hour past her apt time before someone finally got to her. Then offered her 5% off which amounted to around about $3. When they’re good, they’re good. Problem is You never really know what you’re gonna get.

I’ve received decent pedicures here before but that wasn’t the case today. The gentleman that did the pedicure wrapped the whole upper portion of my foot in foil and acetone soaked cotton to remove the old gel polish which started to make my skin burn. One he started the “pedicure” he didn’t do anything but roughly file and polish, none of the scrubbing or filing that was needed after a couple months of not being able to get a pedicure. The gentleman that did my daughter’s pedicure used the electric drill to remove her gel polish after he had applied it, no explanation given.

This is my first time getting a pedicure since March so its safe to say I was looking forward to it. But the service did not match the price. I received a 10 min basic pedicure for $30 and no, thats not including tip. I asked the girl ringing me up if they had raised the prices and she said yes because of supply shortage. Mind you there is no sign that states prices have been raised!

Ive been going to Angels Nails since opening and service has been great. My Nail tech Amber is amazing and I couldnt be any happier with her services! The salon has recently been sold and the majority of the employees have decided to stay on! The new owners are extremely nice and seem to be making some great improvements!

Best manicure and pedicure experience Ive ever had. Downside is often having to wait despite having a reservation, but they more than make up for it with how thorough and amazing their services are. We always do the essential oils pedicures which are so relaxing between the essential oils, leg massage, hot stone massage, paraffin wax, etc. Even out of town family insist on going here when they visit! Its that good!

I hate to even write this review as this was my favorite nail place, but my coworker and I were so excited to finally get our nails done and it didn’t go as excepted! We made an appointment and after arriving and seated we felt very rushed! As we were getting our pedicures done they did our manicure in the same chair and it felt very rushed and awkward! We could not even enjoy the experience. We were being pulled in every direction to do the pedicures and manicures and had bowls of water sitting in our laps. The were saying that they usually get to go early and do not stay open till 7pm anymore which makes me feel that they were trying to get us out so they could go home. They also had us resting our hands on pillows that no plastic on them and had no idea where they came from. During COVID this is very concerning! The elderly man that did my nails was also coughing and did not back away from me. He was wearing a mask but did not seem Concerned! My friend could see through the nail polish on the tips of her fingers. She did bring it to their attention they seemed to not care! When the girl came back out she kept yanking her hand around while drilling off the polish kept saying that she should’ve brought it to her attention sooner. Unfortunately we had not noticed this until she had completed due to the lack of lighting in the establishment. I still paid the same price for both of us and did NOT receive the services we paid for!

So I’m not a fan of my hands nor having super long nails but I’m definitely a fan of Hellen!!! Usually I receive negative comments when I ask for coffin short nails, she didn’t hesitate to give me what I wanted even tho the picture I showed her had longer coffin nails. Point is she was amazing, kind, and listened to what I liked and dis liked! Did I mention how clean and precise she is about her process/technique. I’m beyond happy to come back to her as long as she’s doing nails. Extremely happy 💙 with my service I received here 😇

First impressions of the salon were pleasant. Came in without an appointment and was helped right away. Clean and really pretty salon. I did not like that the “Express Pedicure “ which is $25 did not include lotion. This is my first pedicure ever that did not include lotion, It’s weird to soak your feet for all that time and not get any lotion and quick massage after. It was $25 for them to just soak, file and cut my cuticles- not worth it.

This is the best and most relaxing nail salon in Albuquerque. I have been to multiple places throughout the years and they are hands down the best to date! Highly recommend trying them out! 👍🏼😁

I’ve been going to Angels nail salon for 6-8 months now. I request Nathan every time. It is a clean and friendly environment. They always offer me water. Nathan takes his time and makes sure my nails are perfect. I make an appointment every 3 weeks and he is always on time. Love this place!!

Let me start out by saying I have lived in Alb my whole life and have been getting my nails done for 16 years. I have tried everywhere. I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon, so of course that meant I had to wait about 25 minutes because it was full. I had an amazing experience after that. She gave me the best manicure. I have very fast growing thick cuticles and she went over it twice, which most nail places will NEVER do. I then had a semi- complicated look with five colors. She not only went over the colors twice which is standard, but five times! The colors looked exactly like the bottle. If you have the time to wait and be patient, you wont regret coming here. I recommend calling ahead AND asking how many people are ahead of you if are in a rush. Beautiful environment and it is relaxing if you let it be.

Couldnt have been a better experience! I took my 4 year old daughter for a pedicure, and they truly treated her like a little princess. Staff was extremely friendly and environment was perfectly relaxing. We will be back!

The employees were disrespectful. They used unclean tools and I have pictures of a box saying “Not clean tools” on the box of the tools they used on me. They charged 55$ for a pedicure that I can simply get a 20$ one at a different place. The only good lady there was Amber. They didn’t even tell my mom what was going to cost extra on her pedicure and just did it . She wanted just a plain simple pedicure . Never will i return unless it’s to get my nails done by Amber. They also used a new nail file that was used on me onto my sister. That is very unsanitary and plain disgusting.

I had a great experience! The employees were super nice and friendly! The lady working with me was extremely sociable and it wasnt awkward at all. My nails look like perfection now! :) Would definitely recommend to go to. :D

Best nail salon Ive ever been to. You get to choose from like 10 different aromatherapy pedicures. Hot towels, hot stones, paraffin dip, and your chosen scent for only $35?!?? Also, the place is decorated very tastefully, always offer water, have a private pedicure room if you prefer, use sterilized tools, and the staff is always on time, welcoming, and attentive. If I could give this place 6 stars I would.

I have never been to such an amazing nail salon! I will never go to another one. This was my first time going here after trying a million other salons and this is by far the best. Clean, great selection of polish and well priced. I always get the gel pedicure deluxe which includes essential oils, massage, hot stones and paraffin wax. As a walk in, I expect a longer wait but I have seen ladies come in with appointments and have to wait just as long as I do. For the most part, I have had some great techs but there are a couple who rather talk/text on their cell phones which can be annoying. I would give them a 5 due to reasonable prices and high quality services. However, due to the wait time and distracted employees at times, I give them 4.5.

I picked this place for my Mom for Mothers Day. She has never had a good experience with getting a pedicure! She came back from her appointment in LOVE with them. Her feet are so smooth and pretty and her hands are nice. She said she has never felt so pampered in her whole life! We will be making this the new nail salon for our whole family!

My friend and I went for a Mani/Pedi and the experience was wonderful. you walk into this serene shop and they hand you a very well thought out easy to choose menu of services. Then you go to the back area and just relax. We didnt feel rushed and the lavender package we picked was just layers of relaxation and calm. Thank you for this experience.... we will be back!!!

Ive been twice for a mani/pedi and you get an amazing experience for the price. The pedicure is the longest and most detailed Ive ever received. You even get to pick an aromatherapy scent to go in your foot soak. Staff is friendly and the facilities seem clean.

I have been to many places around Albuquerque for my nails.The thing that I look for is convenience & quality. This place is not only convenient for me in location, but also because they accommodate my ever-changing and hectic schedule. I need a place that I can call when an hour or two opens up in my day, and this is it. I get the gel manicure & pedicure combo, and its super reasonable pricing. $55 for both! Not only that, but the time & care the technicians take to remove old gel polish, clean the nails & nail beds, complete a manicure and pedicure and apply a fresh, beautiful looking set of gels to both my hands and my feet is very much appreciated. I never feel rushed, I always feel appreciated. Im with Angels Nails until death do us part!

I went there today 10/16/17 for the first time. The pedicures are excellent the staff is friendly great atmosphere. Angel did my predicure he did a excellent job. Pamper yourself at this place you will love it. I will definetly be going back I a so happy I found this place .

HORRIBLE!! I made an appointment for a pedicure and full set. I arrived 15min early, picked out my polish and waited... And wait past my appointment time. A gentleman approached me asking if there was something he could help me with. I explained to him about my appointment so he had asked his co-workers and they all said thats not my appointment. 15 minutes after my appointment I finally was able to get into a pedicure chair and soak my feet. Almost 30min after my original appointment my feet finally started to get worked on. I cancelled my full set and down graded the high-end pedicure for the express pedicure just so I could get out of there. Also the music they played was extremely unprofessional. Two songs that played talked about cocaine and other explicit things. I Will NEVER go back. Waste of time and money.

I love this place!! After getting kicked out.. Yes.. Literally asked to leave when I questioned the nail salon owner of Eclipz nails, why he overcharged me for dip powder manicure which in actuality was a glorified gel color applied thick to my own nail. It took the nail tech a good 45 min to undo the mess. They HAVE DIP POWDER here!!!! I recently moved from Florida and no one has dip powder here or heard of it except Angels care. My nail tech was awesome: Jenny! She took her time. Will try their famous pedicures with the red towels! The ratings speak for themselves! Super excited to find a wonderful nail salon with great service. Eclipz sucks... Bad.

Susan helped me with my pedi. She repeatedly missed with the file and grazed my skin, threw the towel with the nail clippings on top of my legs, skipped the massage and I left covered in nail polish where it didnt belong, and she didnt even paint the whole nail. It was awful.

I have been here twice prior usually satisfied cause my technician was a pleasant woman who was very meticulous BUT last time I got a guy who was mean, rude and unprofessional, accusing me of moving my foot which I was not, tho he was holding it down in an awkward way. He actually yelled at me. I complained to owner, she responded. Well I went back today w/o appt. for a manicure, got the sweetest, pretty, meticulous tech ever! So since it was quiet I had a pedi as well. I was very pleased with Alice. She saved Angels for me because she is an Angel.

Never going again!!! First of all whenever me and my mom book an appointment we wait, the last time we waited for an hour. Also I was getting stilleto nails and the nail designs I wanted the guy was complaining on how difficult it was!? I mean thats your job, you shouldnt be upset about anything. I just felt very uncomfortable every time I went, not everyone there is nice!! I would definitely not recommend going here. It is nice looking place, but that doesnt always mean a good environment!

I came here for the first time not knowing what to expect I walked in and received services right away I got a full set stiletto nails with gel simple set nothing fancy. The guy who did my nails took his time and exceeded my expectations. I ended up paying 60 dollars plus tip for my set I felt like it was a bit over priced but didnt mind cause he took his time. Well after a few days one of them broke I went back and they fixed it for free but they did a whatever job. After that a few days later my nails started lifting and I was in need of a fill not even two weeks into getting my nails done! Dont think Ill be coming back!!

My wife made an appointment for a full hour mani & pedi. She wasn’t seated until 30 minutes passed her appointment time. She paid for a foot massage which never occurred. The technician was on his cell phone the whole time texting and was so unprofessional and inconsiderate that he actually stopped to watch a video on his phone while my wife sat waiting. Angel care should really pay more attention to who they hire and their staff and make sure that the paying customers are receiving exactly what they’re paying for and not being cheated out of money for services that are paid for and never rendered. This is the worst experience ever and we will no longer give any type of business to angel care and warn others of the unprofessional and bad business practices of angel care. My wife also paid for a foot massage which she never received, the technician also didn’t apply a base coat to her nails and the technician went 30 minutes passed closing time and did not paint my wife’s nails which she also paid for and when she mentioned it all that was said is, “oh we forgot” how we they didn’t forget to charge full price for the services she asked for but never received. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was no manager available and I needed to to call back the next day to speak with a manager by the name of angel. Steer clear of angle care nail salon if you’re seeking a professional and integrity based nail salon, they’re anything but that.

Terrible terrible service.. the nails arent that bad looking but I have been there twice both bad experiences.. the first time I went I had an appointment for a rebase and a pedicure I waited for the longest time and then they forgot my pedicure.. when I reminded the lady she said she didnt have time.. the second time I went I took my little sister who is 12 by the way and when the lady doing her nails she all of a sudden yelled at my sister for accidentally moving her finger and I mean yelled at her! Made my sister feel so uncomfortable! Sorry excuse for a salon! Will never be going back there and going to encourage everyone I know to never go there

NEVER COMING BACK. Huge waste of moneyI really wanted to enjoy my first manicure in years...but this was not the place. They were under staffed...even though I scheduled ahead of time I waited in the water (till I was a prune).The man rushed through my french gel manicure. He got the gel polish on my finger tips and didnt clean it off. He left gaps on the edges and smeared white painted with the top coating. And worse....I went to the website which states that a gel manicure (no massage) was $15 and French tips were $5 extra. I paid $34.95??!! So expensive for a crappy manicure that has already started to peel off 5 days later.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I made an appointment, I was on time, a few minutes early even and when I arrived they sounded upset to have another customer. I notified them that I had an appointment and for what time it was scheduled, I waited until ten minutes passed my appointment time and no one helped me. As I was waiting one of the employees came in (maybe from lunch) and she was told that I was waiting she then yelled and thew her hands up saying I already have an appointment now!!!. They are close to where I work so I thought Id give them a shot but with that experience I will never go back and discourage the other ladies in my office as well as anyone else from doing business with them.

My family and I have been coming to Angels for a few years now. When they opened, it was absolutely the best place in all of Albuquerque to get a mani/pedi. I had never been to a place that didnt consistently try to upsell you during the visit and balloon your final price to something ridiculous. The place is more expensive than most, but with the service and amount that was done, it was worth it.Things have changed. The last few times we have been there, we made specific time reservations for a party of three or four people. When you make a reservation, you would expect that when you arrive you would have at least a small wait, right? We have never waited less than 45 minutes to an hour, with an appointment! None of us were started at the same time, and this last visit they seated and started walk-ins making my partner wait over an hour until I threatened to leave unless they started him right away. They begrudgingly did, but likely would have kept ignoring him... Maybe because hes a man? A paying customer is a paying customer.They consistently over-schedule beyond their staffing and capacity, snub long-time customers, and couldnt care less if they keep you there way beyond the time you state you need to leave (as we have told them several times). If you take reservations and you only have so many people on staff, you cannot accommodate walk-ins.We very much enjoyed the establishment, and they do have great options for manis and pedis, but we will likely not be returning as every time is extremely frustrating and a multiple hour ordeal despite having a (apparently meaningless) reservation.
