Love this place! Me, my mom and my four-year-old daughter go every 3 weeks to get our manicures and pedicures. The staff there are really nice and do a great job! And they are so great with my daughter! They really take their time and do a great job. The pricing is very good and the quality is amazing! I love that they have so many beautiful colors and finishes of gel nail polishes. I usually get the number 6 pedicure and it is so amazing and worth every single penny!

Overall the experience wasnt too bad. The acrylic nails I got turned out pretty good. However, during the application the girl doing my nails was pretty rough with the filing. When she used the drill it was fine, but using the long nail file and then this like box file, she was scraping my skin quite a bit. They also werent very upfront with the prices and didnt tell me that the color I chose was a higher price than the set I asked for. It wasnt a horrible experience overall, but I wish it could have been a bit better.

I have been using Mandy V a few months now & always received the best care. Any questions I have they answer & very kind and friendly. I was new to the area and wanted to find a nail salon I could use nearby. I Highly recommend! Very clean, professional, & relaxing place!

I hate leaving bad reviews. They really took their time and were kind but I asked for a SUPER thin white line. They are thick and uneven and sloppy. I hardly do things like this for myself so I’m pretty sad with the outcome.

My regular salon was busy so I decided to try here. I feel like the colors she chose after showing her what I wanted were slightly off the glitter is more red than the burgandy matte. 3 stars because my nail bubbled after 3 days and peeled off the top layer of polish. Not very pleased with that. Polish should not be bubbling and peeling that soon nor at all.

My 3 girl friends and I walked in and they took us immediately. The pedicures were amazing, I love my glittery toes! The staff is super friendly,We will definitely be back.

I have never had a bad experience at this nail shop. The techs are really hard working and never cut corners to accommodate more than they can handle. Ive been to other nail salons here in Albuquerque and the price and quality of the services is exceptional. This last time I went, Tammy blew me away with a free hand lace design (that was super tasteful) and beautiful. 10/10 recommend!

My friend and I went to get pedicures today, which we always have a good experience but today wasn’t one of them. My friend was already going to sit down in the pedicure chair when a male worker (might have even been the owner) told her to go sit in the chair right next to it because it would be “easier” for her to get out of. My friend didn’t really believe that was the reason they made her move so she asked them why she’s being moved and he told her it was a “bigger chair” and it would be better for her size 😱🤦‍♀️😬. We’ve been at Mandy V a few times before and we’ve never had this problem. She’s been allowed to sit in chairs that were in the middle row and was never told anything about her size. Today was really hard because we went to get pedicures because she’s been going through a hard time with the passing of her mother AND being on a super strict diet, we felt like a nice girls day was a good reward. Sadly we won’t be going back to this place because of the way the situation was handled. The “gentleman” who told her to move told her if she didn’t like it she could leave, that wasn’t said it was basically yelled at her. Which is true, we can leave if we don’t like it, but we’ve been coming here since Amanda and Vince owned the place and it sad to think we will not be back because of the situation that happened today. The two ladies who did do our pedicures were super nice and apologized a few times. Not one apology from the guy that started this all. I’m hoping this will help you guys train your employees to be more sensitive in situations like this. If you have a weight limit on chairs, it should be done on every visit and told beforehand instead of making up new rules as you go day to day. When you put someone on the spot like that WITH customers in the store, it’s very degrading and embarrassing. I am sad I didn’t say anything sooner while we were in there, think I’m still pretty shocked with everything that happened.

My favorite place to get pampered. Been going here for over 10 years. And for those wondering, yes Im all about grooming so yes I get pedicures, Best feeling in the world. Dont knock it until you try it.

I went for a mani pedi before a wedding. There were 4 of us and i was the first to finish because the lady who did my manicure was in such a rush. She was so rushed she nicked me 3 times even after I told her she was cutting too deep and hurting me. Then sprayed it with alcohol despite breaking skin. She cut so deep that I couldnt stand in my heels.The place doesnt seem all bad. The other 3 in my party had great experiences. I just got unlucky with the lady who did my nails.

I went in just today with a friend after making appointments. Still waited 30 minutes. Basic pedicures and her gel manicure were fine. My dip manicure was unprofessionally done. I have polish on skin all over the front and backs of my fingers. I had one cuticle that was cut... the lady FILED MY SKIN causing a sore! When I complained, the manager and an older man began yelling at me. When I was showing the man my nails he started hitting my hands and then they threw me out of the store!! All after my card was charged of course...Disgustingly unprofessional business!!!

A comfortable environment with staff that is kind enough to explain different techniques or styles. The prices were a little higher than what I anticipated, but he did a good job.Edited Review- with additional photos-I went back to get the nails removed because I have a wedding coming up- I planned to come back here and get them done, but the way the staff treated me the second time I will pass.My experience the second time:I was a walk in- was willing to make an appointment if they were too busy, which to me it looked like they were but the gal told me it would be 10 dollars to remove the nails and she is available at the moment. So, sure- I sit down and she basically proceeded to rip the nails from mine using another false nail while asking who did my nails. I told her who and she said that person no longer works there- then answers her phone and has a conversation with whoever it was while destroying my fingers. Once she was done on the phone she asked if I wanted a manicure- I said sure hoping shed clean up the damage she created. The after pictures are the manicure she provided. The nails are completely destroyed and the top layers of my nails are basically shredded to pieces.Now, I am sure there are places that practice this way- but this is the first time I have ever experienced my false nails being removed this way. Its usually not this painful what so ever and have never damaged the existing natural nail by removing the false ones. My hands hurt for 3 days after this and started to bleed at the cuticles. After talking to my friend she said I should include the photos of the nail damage I have just so others are aware of what could happen. Tbh, I wouldnt go here again. The prices are too high and looking back there was additional costs for things that are free at other places- like shaping the nail- also the inconsistency of the way staff treats people wasnt ok. Above all else- the damage done to my nails should have never happened.

Terrible service. Made an appointment at 3:15 for a pedicure. Waited with my feet in the water for 40 minutes. When someone came to do the pedicure, she kept going to the person next to me and showing the other worker what to do. Then she finally got up and left me and worked on the person next to me. Waited another 10-15 minutes then she came back to work on my feet and rushed through the pedicure. She did not allow my polish to dry before she had me leave. Needless to say got home and polish was ruined. Be cautious-believe there were more people in there then should have been.

The professional who did my pedicure was attentive and thorough. Some of the workers just need to remember to keep people who did not come in together 6ft apart and wear masks correctly.

This place is awful!!!! We made an appointment and they were not ready. They spent almost 2 hours on my toes. The lady didnt know what she was doing and she kept starting over. They asked me 5 times if I wanted to get my hands done I told them yes! But when it came to it they were all confused.

Was able to take me in early on a Monday morning. My regular place doesnt open early and Mandy vs is a lot closer to me. The manicure was okay overall, the tech did a couple things during my manicure that didnt really make sense like still using the file(electric) after soaking off my polish with the cotton/foil. Also it didnt make much sense when she pushed back my dry, unsoaked cuticles... The paint job was good and has lasted well over a week now. I would go again in place of my regular spot, but only if I needed it.

I went in for a full set. Pricing listed on their website and in the building say $27.99 full set. I asked how much more for gel he said $10.00 I said okay.The nail tech was rough and cut 2 of my fingers. Put glue on the cuts then tried to file the same spot again. His polish was messy had to keep using a brush to clean up the edges. I asked to not use the alcohol on the fingers he cut but he disregarded what I asked.Then it was time to pay and he said my set was $48 plus tax now. So how did it jump from $27 to $37 with gel to $48??? There was no communication about pricing except me asking for the pricing of gel.The nails are not what I wanted. He didnt listen to direction, cut me twice and charged me an extra $20.DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!

The pedicure was fine when I went to get my manicure the man cut me 4 times n I asked him for oval nails he did them square informed him for a second time how I wanted them done and he went to the register for me to pay I told him I needed my nails fixed he ran the file over him but didnt make them the way I wanted them he went back to the register again I told him no my nails are not done right at that point he got a little irritated and did the same thing to them again didnt fix them at that point I just paid and left I would not recommend this place to anybody

Worst experience ever! Do not give this place your business. I used this place consistently for over 6 months with no issues till yesterday. I spend over $120 every 3 weeks for my daughter and I. We get the dip on our nails and pedicures. I had 4 nails crack in a week and had to return to have them fixed 3 different times. The MALE owner yesterday told me I could ONLY do acrylic from now on. I pay for a service and he is telling me what I can get. The way he treated me was unacceptable and no one should be treated that way. I paid $8 to fix the first 2 that cracked! Very unprofessional.

Avoid this place, they have secret charges you don’t know about unless you ask at the register, by that time it’s too late. My sister was charged an extra $10 for chrome, but she asked if it was gel and they told her yes initially so she agreed to it, at register her pedicure was $60, they also charged me extra to remove my old gel, but didn’t let me know ahead of time. They did a great job but disappointed in the deceit and dishonesty in prices.

I love going here! I left my original nail place due to their bad service. They have been so kind and have done an amazing job. Their pedicures are amazing. And my sets always last and never break. I highly recommend this place!!!

Mandy V is a gem. Today I dropped into the salon to try and get a full set for a wedding this weekend. Though It was not a great idea to visit the nail salon only a little over 2 hours before a flight departure, i did so anyways because they are the only ones I trust. I was getting a full set of nails and started panicking because it was aproaching an hour till takeoff. Joy sensed my anxiety and immediately two ladies worked together on each one of my hands to get me on my way! They were so kind, and even under pressure, my nails turned out beautifully.Mandy v spa goes above and beyond to give great service and the quality is never compromised. Thank you so much ladies. I caught my flight and had gorgeous nails to go with my dress that weekend. Mandy V is truly a hidden gem.I will never take my business anywhere else.

Ive used this salon in the past, and they were good. But that no longer seems to be the case. My last 2 visits felt very rushed, and they dont seem to clean their equipment like I remember from past experiences. Also, be sure to pay attention to how much they are charging you. Im fairly certain I was overcharged on the first of my last 2 visits. On my second visit, they tried, but were unsuccessful. My daughter had a set of nails removed and a basic manicure. The price they tried to charge me was $10 more than what their price menu on the wall listed. When I asked why, the girl looked at the price menu like she was seeing it for the very first time ever, and then tried to say it was because my daughter got gel polish. She did not. It was regular polish and I had to point out the bottle, which was still on the work table, before she adjusted the price. Needless to say, we wont be back.

Very nice facility and the girls are very nice and friendly, however their services do not last as long as expected. I received a gel pedicure and it came off completely in 3 weeks.

Im really not sure what happened between my original post and now... 2 weeks ago I had a full set put on. It looked ok but nothing to write home about. 2 weeks out: every nail was lifting, my pinkie tip came off. Had to get a brand new set today! Horrible!Relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Will be back!..Update: I wanted to add that this is the first time (and Ive tried many nail salons) that my fingers didnt hurt/burn after a service. Usually there is at least one nail that I have to put antibiotic lotion on. Not with this salon! Very gentle. Thank you!

My 6 year old daughter and I have gone here twice to get manicures and pedicures. Both times we have gone, we have had excellent service. They make us both feel comfortable and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

First time getting service here. The staff was nice but i didn’t like that they leave you to soak your nails in acetone instead of putting the cotton ball with aluminum for the dip powder. Also 2 other ladies and i were asked to try and scrape off the powder until someone got to us. The guy that did my nail was extremely shaky and hurt me and cut me with the lil machine. My nails weren’t horrible but there was no cuticle oil only the one they have for sale and i had to ask to get some lotion. Overall it was ok but not worth the price i paid.

Very clean & friendly. There are 10 adult pedicure chairs, 2 childrens pedicure chairs & 10-12 nail stations. Theyre also staffed so that even when slammed busy there is not a long wait. Prices are reasonable, I spent $40 on a #3 deluxe pedicure (including tax) & it was worth every penny. I also noticed, & appreciated, the cleanliness. All pedicure tools are autoclaved and opened in front of you & all pedicure tubs have a new disposable liner for every customer. I will very likely be back!

Ive been to a lot of nail salons and this is my absolute favorite!! I do suggest that you make an appointment because it can get very busy here. Also I highly recommend joy to everyone. My grandmother and myself are dedicated costumers. Shes very experienced and does everything in her power to achieve what you want. If you ever have an issue talk with joy because she will fix any problem. Love you joy!

Usually come here for pedi with my mom. Received poor customer service today and poor quality of service. It was $100 for two pedis and we were rushed and my full nail doesnt even have polish on it. I would not recommend them anymore. Take your hard earned money and go else where.

I got a pedicure and a gel manicure here yesterday evening and I am SO happy with how my nails look. I have had a difficult time with places in Albuquerque not doing french tip very well, but the lady at Mandy Vs last night did an outstanding job. I will definitely be coming back here.

Not a great experience for the price. My nail tech was on her phone the whole time, put little effort into the manicure, and the gel polish is very crooked around the edges, they actually look horrible leaving me frustrated. My daughters acrylic nails look good. I’m sure it’s a hit or miss here but I will not be back.

Ive been here a handful of times with a decent experience each time up until my last time. It was the weekend before mothers day weekend. I wanted to treat my mom to a pedicure and some acrylic nails. It wasnt too busy, we got pulled back to the pedicure chairs right away and the two people that did our pedicures were really nice and friendly. When it came time to do our nails we sat down. My mom told the lady what she wanted. From that moment, the lady was very rude to my mom. My mom simply wanted somewhat short acrylics nails just for a slight enhancement. The lady rudely clipped the nails to the length my mom wanted and when it came time to apply the acrylic she started talking to her workers and brought them over to laugh at how short my mom wanted her nails. Her attitude and body language was as if she was too good to be doing my moms nails. She then stood up and said Im hungry, someone else will finish. Im going to go eat I was sad that someone would treat my mom like that. I felt bad for even bringing her to this unprofessional establishment. Im frustrated that I had to pay $140.00 and get treated like were nothing. I will never again go back to Mandy V Spa & Nails. I will also stop referring my friends and family there. Just one big disappointment.

I have been going to this salon for years through 3 owners. I stopped after Joyce sold a d tried others. I am back in love that they are open on Sunday and have the football game on. Find a favorite and call ahead and ask for that person. I personally dont go there to socialize with my manicurist it is my relax and zone out time. Except when a good game is on then I scare the hell out of everyone when I start screaming get him, get him!!!

My last 3 experiences have been alarming. A new employee cut half a customers nail off, she left in pain. This isn’t the 1st time I’ve seen a new employee do this. Mgmts aware! I understand everyone has to learn the job but these episodes are repetitive. Everytime I schedule an appointment, I STILL wait 15 mins to get seen; they don’t honor appointments. During my last visit, they left me to soak my feet in cold water.

I came in for a gel manicure and a mani & pedicure for my 4 year old. It came out to $70. According to their pricing, kids mani and pedi should be $5 each, so my gel manicure was $60? Also my nail polish is peeling one day later. Ive been here several times in the past but wont be going back.

These ladies were so nice! I hadnt been to a salon to get my nails done for almost 10 years and wasnt sure about gel nails etc. They told me all about them, fit me in quickly (was getting them done for a wedding) and I got a mani pedi at a great cost. Plus they are so close to me.A wonderful experience and I will definitely be back!

Almost Christmas Im of course last minute their 1 hour & 30 mins from closing, I call & ask if they had time for a pedi gel & fill in gel. They say, yes come by hun. Bam. Minute I walk in Im offered a beverage & instantly am able to soak my feet while I wait to be seen. This place is full of people yet the customer service was on point. This was my first time & I will most definitely be back🙌

I used to love this place and thats why i went back today. I loved my nails but sitting in a chair for an hour with a guy doing my nails was very uncomfortable. Dont get me wrong, i dont mind guys doing my nails but he was being very nasty and unprofessional. He kept telling me i look good and i must be a party girl. He kept calling me cutie and sweetie and making very nasty remarks. as i was trying to put my nails into the uv dryer he said i had to put it in deeper thats what girls like he said. then he asked where i worked and why i wanted my nails so bland, i said a doctors office and he began to say that you have to look good to work in a place like that, and if he was a doctor his secretary wouldnt have to wear anything. i felt very uncomfortable at this point and i just couldnt wait to get out of there. Never will i be going back there again.

Very rude. i asked to have them about a medium length and he went further than what i asked for him to cut. when i told him i wanted them longer he went to say that he would have to start over and i would have to pay double for me to get her them longer.

Very upset with how the management overprices the service here. I got dipping powder (supposedly this dipping powder strengthens your nails) with ombre gel polish on my own nails. I was charged $23. I got back again for the same service and i get charged $40 2of my nails break i go back for a gel color change i dont get my broken nails fixed just a color change for $20 least she could have done was fix my broken nails so they look all the same I WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN to many ppl for a small supposed spa (over crowded) old polish old glue very unsatisfied with mgt the workers are hardworking and reasonable when mgt is not there

Terrible sloppy work. When they get busy everything is rushed. My nails were not cleaned right mani and pedi are terrible. I honestly wanted to walk out so terrible and I came before the rush customers who arrived after left way before me took them 2.5 hours with me!!!

I went in for a full set and manicure yesterday, and at first it started out okay. And then some other customers called on the phone saying they would be there in 20 minutes for 5 pedicures. The lady rushed through my nails and didnt even get the cuticles or anything correctly. They do okay nails, but the customer service sucks. I wont return.
