I am an adult beginner and although I went to horse camp as a child I was basically starting from scratch when it came to learning to ride. I found MM Equestrian farms because I live near south beach and wanted a close place to try riding lessons without having to go all the way down south, too far west, or north towards Fort Lauderdale and beyond. I have lived in Miami since 2002 and had no idea MM Equestrian even existed. It truly is a magical oasis located in North Miami off of Biscayne and 135th street. They have a petting zoo and do pony rides on the weekends but what I love most about MM equestrian farm are the riding lessons. I have taken lessons with both Angelina and Melissa, both wonderful teachers. Melissa is the owner and my main instructor now. She is teaching me the basics of horsemanship, how to “tack up” ( getting the horse prepared for riding, putting on the saddle and bridle), teaching me two-point, posting trot and we have made a goal plan with lesson schedule to get me to my ultimate goal of eventing. The only downside of MM Equestrian is that the only riding allowed there is in the outdoor arena, therefore if it rains, the arena floods and we have to cancel the lesson. I highly recommend MM equestrian if you are looking for a local riding school, knowledge instruction from Melissa and an all around magical experience.

Giving them a three only because I feel the price is to high for what they have. The pony ride is not in a big area and I feel $15 to go around in 5 circles is way to costly. And $10 for a petting farm where they only have about 5 animals doesnt seem fair to me. However, where the horses are is a bigger area which I havent experienced and thats why I didnt give a lower rating. Be careful if you do the pony ride and they allow Princess one of the horses there. Shes not friendly. She pushed one of the employees and my niece was on top of her and almost fell.

Amazing facility with sweet staff. Super awesome service and well taken care of animals. A great place for the whole family. A little bit of country in the bustling city. This place is a dream. Bring your family out for an amazing day at the barn as soon as you can. Kids can get hands on experience with horses and ponies, and interact with the numerous farm animals in the petting zoo. An awesome learning experience for all ages. Loved it.

This place is amazing. What an Oasis in the middle of the city!Animals are happy and well cared for. Cows,goats,donkey,chickens, and of course horses.Great riding instructors. Pony rides as well. A true kids paradise.

Always a good time at Mm Equestrian. Great place for the kids and awesome tourist attraction if you’re just visiting. We had a great experience. Awesome place for kid’s and even adults experiencing riding for the first time.10/10.

Terrible customer service. They never respond to calls or text messages. It is almost impossible to contact them. She answered a few times via text, and went MIA. I paid via Venmo to make a reservation, the class was canceled due to the weather, and they have never gotten back to me.

I have ridden at MM Equestrian for 4 years now. I really love the horses, the kids, the People and all of the animals! I learned riding on Patience a very kind and understanding horse! Now, I ride Forrest. 💚 I really love the camp too and the Lake days are awesome too! 😉 Thank you!

M m Farms. Is something that I, and my family, are so happy, to have so close to where our residents is, in North Miami. We are watching them grow year after year, and we can see, that they really treat all their animals, with love and care. Which makes us very happy. They are a wonderful addition to the city of North Miami. We would love to see more police activity in the park regularly. Reason being, is that I have two small children, and we used to be able to walk the past throughout the whole part. But now it seems like, it is too dangerous to do these type of activities at the park. There are too many people, doing drugs, and drinking alcohol. Which for me, as being a concerned father, its something I do not want my children around, or seeing or smelling. North Miami Police Department, needs to step up, and Patrol Enchanted Forest, the way they are supposed to do. It is their job, to protect and serve. So heres the million-dollar question, why arent they protecting and serving, at Enchanted Forest. Like they used to 30 years ago when I was in my twenties. It was the safest part, in North Miami, that you could go, with your family and enjoy, a great barbecue, and a wonderful safe setting. Im reaching out to anyone, that is reading this, to join together, with me, too improve, the security at Enchanted Forest. We must as residence of North Miami, join together, and make sure, that our few parts are once again, safe and secure, for adults, and especially children. For some reason North Miami Police Department, has forgotten about Enchanted Forest. Once again I can make this statement, because growing up in this city, if someone was drinking liquor in the park, they would at least get thrown out, or be arrested. But I see an ongoing group that continues to roam through the parts pass and do as they will. Wheres the police?????? Our voices must be heard, and somehow reach the police department. I am very well aware, that they have a lot on their plate, when it comes to crime prevention, and they are doing a great job. I applaud North Miami Police Department. Ive made all these statements, because I think about my children growing up, and having their own children, and being able to go to enchanted forest, and tell their children that, we used to come here with your grandfather. With that said lets make this happen. As a community. Remember, if we all join together with love and understanding and compassion, we can move mountains, if we choose, and decide to. M m the horse ranch, is amazing, and I am so proud of the owners, and the way they keep there Ranch clean available and with love kindness and Open Arms receiving all types of people that come to enjoy the animals that they own and really really take care of. I have faith, that this message is going to get across to the residence here, and also with keeping in mind, visitors from other cities and states and countries. Im proud to be a resident of North Miami. I just want to be able to feel that way, when I walked through the park with my two small children. ... Please feel free to reach out to me. I have been riding here now for 4 years and I love it! The horses and the people are really nice!

This company is VERY unprofessional!!! We planned for this horseback riding session about a month in advance for my friends birthday. She has been speaking to the assistant of the company about three times each week and once it was time to place the deposit the company was very unresponsive and didn’t answer to any of the calls being made. The next day was the day of her birthday and she called the company 13 TIMES from 7 am to 12:45pm. Our session was scheduled for 1pm so we began to question what exactly was going on. There was no answer so we decided to call from another phone where the man answered immediately. He then explained that our session was cancelled and booked to someone else because we failed to pay the deposit, although he was the one that didn’t answer for us to send him the deposit. He then explained to us that there was nothing that he could do and began to place the blame on us. We asked to speak to the manager but he constantly refused and gave excuses that he was busy or that he would be much more aggressive towards us than he was being. I am very disappointed in this company because we were all very excited to enjoy this time with our best friend on her birthday. I PLEASE advise anyone to be very cautious when deciding on this company because I wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else and have their time wasted and their plans ruined.

Its at the Enchanted Forest Park. Location is prime. On the weekends they do horse riding and pony ride.I guess, if you own a horse in Miami, this is a great option? No clue, but giving the place 5 starts, I didnt hear the horses complaint. Ever.

I AM BEYOND EXCITED TO HAVE FOUND THIS PLACE TODAY! In Miami, horse country is way out west Sunset/Bird Road or up in Davie. This is a beautiful barn thats very shaded. Nice-sized arena. Its situated in a beautiful park. They have pony rides and a petting zoo for the little ones on the weekend from 10 to 3 and offer riding lessons during the week (you need to call and make an appointment with Melissa). Im really looking forward starting to ride here.... Its only a few miles away from my home and I am beyond stoked that I stumbled upon this little gem (who knew we had horses in North Miami!??)🐎

I didnt like this place. They have little girls running the place. Theres no adults there. They dont really know what theyre doing.

I actually work at this place, we give pony ride 3$-4rounds 4$-6rounds 5$-9rounds 6$-12rds. If you or kid wants to learn how to ride a horse, our professional rider will teach you how!!! I hope you come !!!!

The place is in bad shape horses are under weight and not feed the right food for the way they are worked...the ranch is full of young kids that dont know much about horses at all...the manager is a durg addtic and does 25 $ lessons ...not a safe place for your kids..i used to board there many years ago..so do your self a favor and go to a real ranch
