I got a pedicure and a full set, over $140.00. the pedicure was amazing but when it came to my nails the quality was absolutely sub par. They are way to thin, lumpy and I asked for almond shaped nails. I work with my hands in a hard labor job which I had mentioned. So I expect the nails to be thicker and have a stronger apex. Not only that there was left over acrylic on my skin and under the nails. I spent over $70.00 on the nails alone including the tip. I am going on a long over due vacation to visit my significant other where they are stationed..... I am so honestly sad and disappointed. I always read reviews before I go so if you all read this please dont get a full set here only feet!

This was literally the worst experience I’ve ever had at a salon. We called ahead and told them we were across town and if it would be okay to get there in 25-30 minutes and they said that was perfect. When we arrived the owner very rudely asked if we were the three girls who called ahead and told us we were 45 minutes late (we checked the phone log and we had gotten there in 35 minutes). During our time there the owner referred to women as “bitches” and said some pretty vulgar stuff. He was super tough when moving our hands, and we were too nervous to say or do anything due to the erratic behavior and the derogatory way he spoke about women. Part of my thumb doesn’t have any acrylic and the paint is see through, lumpy, and so sloppy. To top it off, we were told the price would be 40$ each at the beginning even after we described what we wanted. At the check out it was very clear he made up prices off the top of his head. We did not feel safe complaining so paid and left as fast as we could. We paid almost 100 for each, which is so overpriced for what we received. This review is just to warn other women to not go to this nail spa (at least not alone). If we felt safe to have him take off the nails and give us a refund we would, but we just don’t.

I am in town for work and was in need of a pedicure and manicure with dip powder. I googled salons and was happy to find this place. I was hesitant at first as it was in a mall and thought it would be just another mall salon however this place has several dip color options and the gentleman that did my nails was fantastic. He took his time but was also efficient and my nails look great. If I lived in Albuquerque this would be my go to place all the time. I highly recommend for anyone looking to get their nails done. I also thought it was very low priced compared to what I usually pay.

I go here biweekly to get my nails done. They are in a convenient place. The staff are super friendly and get exactly what you want.

Sept 5 2020:. Masks were worn, all tools were immediately sterilized and hand washing was plentiful. My first Mani/pedicure visit during COVID-19 so I was apprehensive. Once I got into my chair, I felt like Id been there many times before because I felt like family with Stylo and Chris. Music/TV was at an appropriate volume, very clean environment, no toxic nail smell and quite a lot of customers were waiting to get pampered by this wonderful team. Customers were showing off their nails because the colors looked so AMAZING! They guarantee their work if you come back within the month you got your nails done. Ive never experienced that before anywhere else.I had so much fun while getting my nails done by Neela, and the owner, Stylo. We laughed so much that I thought other clients were going to tell us to stop cracking up. Stylo has been the new manager/owner since February 2019. Chris who also works at Empire, chimed in to the conversations, as appropriate. He was making me laugh too. In all honesty, many customers were laughing and talking to each other (with our masks on). Ill be back every 2 weeks to get my nails done.

Third time coming to get my nails done here. first experience the man with face tattoos painted my nails. very good job but he was on his phone the whole time. second time i went was fantastic, a woman did my manicure. third time i went back to the same man with the tattoos, and once again on his phone the whole time. scrolling instagram. his friends came in to chat and he stopped working to talk to them. swore a lot and heavily in front of me. didnt wear his mask properly and wiped his nose with his hand, then went back to working without washing his hands!! nails not evenly shaped and crooked. will not be returning.

If you want to run a business why don’t you just be more professional be nice to your customers and be nice to your workers. You’re joking doesn’t mean that every customers that comes into your establishment is going to be on a joking frenzy. Maybe you should Establish boundaries. Just saying.

I asked for tapered square nails and paid $64 for this. i’m embarrassed to go to school now

Im not always the best at describing what I want done with my nails. The owner at Empire was very friendly and did a great job helping customers. Also helped me figure out perfect nails.

Didnt even get a chance to go in because they were closing and it says on there schedule that they close at 7pm. Its was around 5pm-5:20pm when they closed. Correct your hours please.

For 177.00 $ you would think they would be perfect!!!! Worst nails I have ever had. Only one day and the polish is already lifting. Took almost 3 hours and mine are real no acrylic. My daughter had a refill and look ok. Both of us had pedis as well . Most expensive and worst job ever. Didnt mention that gel would be 15$ extra for fingers and toes until all done. Will never step foot in there again!!!

So kind,fast and fair price

My sister and I entered the salon because their sign said that a full set was $35. So naturally we got two. I, a simple solid matte color, and her a solid black with one white party nail on each had that had a simple mandala design. The nail clerk assured her he could do the design with ease. The clerk took over two hours to do our nails and when it came down to it could not do the design my sister asked for. The man asked a different clerk to step in who could not either and rather just did a few dots down a pinkish nail. An utter disappoinment that actually ended up costing us $150 as the clerk did not even honor the price on the board as we walked in. Its only been two days and my nails are already lifting and they are shaped so thin and awkwardly. Not to mention the clerk took a 10 minute break to eat as he was in the middle of doing my sisters nails and he flexed at us as he continually bragged about his physique and his skills as a clerk. He was also rough with our hands and kept blaming is for not being relaxed. Laughable and embarrassing. Horrible experience all around. Avoid this place at all costs!

When I walked in they were busy Which was fine it was Easter weekend I knew it would be . When she was about 10 mins into doing my nail someone came in to get waxed she stopped left me there for about 15 mins than came back to start filing my nails as she was she stopped and started filing hers!!!. I will not be going back

We visited this Salon as a last-minute treat prior to my best friends wedding. She (the bride) had a bad experience at a previous location so we decided to give Empire Nails a try. We were immediately impressed. We were greeted by a team of individuals who checked our temperature and explained all of the products and services available to meet our needs. Our nails have never looked better! The place and staff are professional, patient, and charismatic. We will definitely go back!

Very unprofessional. male worker (chris)always very inappropriate. have heard multiple stories about inappropriate behavior. best to stay clear of this place for that reason.. instead try lelahs lashes booked an appointment for my lady and she was very satisfied.

The place is nice. But when I sat down and asked the nail tech for prices he wanted to charge $55 for regular shaped gel nails and $65 for special shape, when I shared that other places charge $35 for gel he laughed and didn’t seem to believe me. Prices are way too high...in my opinion.

I am so glad I saw this salon while waiting for my little boy and husband who were riding the train. I havnt had a pedicure in 3 years and my feet were in desperate need of some TLC to say the least. They got me right in and got the water started immediately. I also had my little baby with me and stroller. The folks here were so accomodating and so gracious with my baby and I, it was really amazing. The pedicure was fantastic and Grace did an amazing job. I upgraded to the CBD treatment and massage and it was absolutely fantastic. I left feeling refreshed and happy to feel soft feet again. The CBD treatment really helped with the aching I get in my left foot due to a previous surgery. I highly recommend stopping by. Super clean, great atmosphere, covid rules followed and just a great place to help you feel great. What more could you ask for.

My cousin and I had Chris doing our nails and we loved him! He did both of our acrylic sets fairly quickly and he did so well! They look amazing, would recommend him to anyone looking to get their nails done!

The guy with face tats is no good very unprofessional my nails look horrible because he kept rushing his assistant! to do them because he kept excepting clients even though he was already fully booked my nails look like I did them at home and way overpriced they kept trying to rush and said that each different nail color would cost more I paid $60 for something that should’ve been 45 tops and they don’t even look good and an actual nail tech Didn’t even do them but I paid $60 For Bobby an assistant To do them!

I took my 12 yr old and her friend to get nails they got a design and jewels for both was 100 bucks so next weekend i took my younger daughter and she got a simple color full set no design or nothing and it was almost 70 bucks for just polish nails way too OVERPRICED. But staff was cool

I really loved my nails, but when getting home and actually taking the time to to look at them the whole filing quality is awful. So much for spending 100 there never again.

Would of been nice if the manager wasnt a douch to his employees. He rushed my tech and my nails came out sloppy. He didnt even say please to this tech and kept telling him to hurry.

I had a great pedicure with very down to earth staff members although they shared a little too much personal information. Unfortunately my daughter who had a gel manicure & pedicure peeled less than a week. She is also 10 and they charged for an adult, this would not have been a problem if it would have lasted.

Great atmosphere, with kind and welcoming employees. Always make sure you establish a set price, with anywhere you go. Love my nails 🥰🥰

I went for a nail appointment it was a little late the owner told us it was OK to come in he made the appointment for us but forgot to tell his his worker that we would be coming and she was upset that we were in there you could tell she wanted to go home she rushed through her nails she messed them up I went back the next day to have them fixed and she messed it up worse I feel she did it on purpose I have to go pay somebody else to fix it this place is unprofessional they don’t care for their client they only did they take your money don’t care that you have your nails messed up they don’t care if it’s even there’s all kinds acrylic under the underneath of your nails this place is not cool I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody

This is hands down the best nail salon I’ve been to! Both my friend and I got our nails done and the owner went above and beyond to make sure we got the absolute best service. There may be a little bit of a wait and higher prices than other places but that’s because your paying for the service you get in them making sure you do get the best. The owner says he’s been doing nails for 25 years and it shows. Both of us will 100% be making this our permanent future nail salon!

I went there on Monday, and I wanted the Mani Pedi Combo with Gel Nails. They did my toes amazingly, but were kind of rough. Then we got to my finger nails, the guy was so rough, when he put my hand under the light, it burned! Its been about three days, and the gel on my fingers is already peeling. I do recommend this place just not a certain worker.

The owner is very nice & funny made us feel comfortable & very welcomed. Would definitely come back

I got the best pedicure I’ve ever had from Bobby!! He takes his time and really cares about how it looks. He shaped my toenails so well, which you wouldn’t think is important but really is!! I will keep coming back to Bobby for my mani pedis!!

Don’t even think about it!! Especially if you’re looking for a hair cut. Didn’t have her keys to her cabinet and had to go out in the mall and borrow from another stylist from another shop. Should have followed my gut and cancelled. Very bad cut. Had to trim when I got home. Very uneven. Sign says $24. Between pedicure and very bad hair cut they charged me $70. Total RIP OFF. ....Run don’t walk past this shop.

Went in on a Saturday, I understand this is a busy day, walked past this place many times looked nice, however my cousin and I noticed there was only a couple licenses up! Not only were our predicates rushed the gel peeled off days later, who I assumed to be the owner was yelling, We are certain the grace chick isn’t Licensed, who knows who else there isn’t licensed!? They made my cousins toe bleed trying to yank her ingrown out. Don’t go here ever!!! Unprofessional, over priced, and unlicensed people working!!!!

Worst place ever waited over an hour to get a pedicure. The tattooed guy was so rough with my feet because he keep hitting my feet. He didn’t wear gloves when he was working in between customers.

Would not recommend again, the lady who did my nails put the acrylic on thinly and there are bumps in it, the nails are also crooked.
