Wow! Very nice nail salon. Love the spa like atmosphere! Monica did an excellent job on my nails & Linas pedicure was so relaxing. Complete with a glass of wine. I travel & there are so many choices out there. Definitely one of the best salons I have visited!

So we were going to go to Cute.icle Lounge nearby, but they were not accepting walk-ins. We tried this place and we were seated immediately in the pedicure chairs. We were offered complimentary water, drinks, and wine. The ladies who did our pedicure did a fantastic job. It took around an hour to get our pedicure done. I wanted a full set with gel polish, so I was taken to the manicure station. My nails are beautiful, however, it took roughly 1 and 1/2 hours to do my manicure. In the meantime, my mom got her eyebrows done. After everything was said and done it was $180 for two classic pedicures, my manicure, and my mom’s eyebrows (with tip). It was a very nice place but not for those getting nails for cheap. Otherwise, a very friendly staff and excellent service.

As a man coming to this place for pedicures is amazing.. the staff are always friendly and professional. Always a great time even with my caveman feet.

I have been searching for a new nail salon. This salon provides a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed the written menus that clearly showed the services they provide. And the people were nice and attentive. I would recommend this salon for anyone who would like to relax and get their nail attended to.

Late, at 6pm, I came in for a refill on my acrylic nails. My usual salon had closed early for the day, so this was a nearby substitute. Ted did my nails, and I am satisfied with the final product. He was a little hurried at first, and sawed at the nail corners while filing, but I explained I have very thin nails, and he became much more gentle. He made jokes and called himself the NMNM ...the New Mexico Nail Master, but not in a brash way, just pride in his work. They have really nice colors in their gel nail polish. I will go back to try other services, as their prices arecomparable to other salons in NM.

This place is very beautiful inside yet very ugly personalities. I made an appointment for my mother on her birthday any question I asked I got a simple answer back nothing great at all. Nail “Tech” says they don’t do any designs my mother picked. What kind of nail tech does not know how to do designs what a great to ruin a birthday!!!

Very rude staff! Filed my nail so rough it caused me to bleed 🩸. The male owner makes rude remarks and then claims to be kidding. The owners wife is unfriendly and always yelling at her staff. Making everyone feel uncomfortable. Lastly they make you wait for an hour for a horrible experience.

I went on 08/22/21 with my mother to get mani and pedis. The person doing the nails on my mom, came to talk to me in broken English and left me “hanging” without allowing me to understand what was going on. I had to put my flip flops -because I was having a pedicure- to go where he was with my mother, to clarify what he was doing (fixing a -one- broken nail). He mentioned he will take care of it.I asked for his name and he started talking in Vietnamese. Same did everyone working in this place, when I asked what his name was, to posted in this review (he was the only male in the shop, he is old and pretentious with very cheap clothing, btw). Then, I saw my mom sitting alone and I asked where was the gentleman serving her. I was told he went eating -at 4pm- and he left my mom waiting for over 25 mins. Not sure why an adult male has to suddenly go eat, in the middle of a service? Once I told the person taking care of me, that we will be leaving if my mother was not taking care and finished her job on time, a different person came to help her. Terrible job. Utterly rude and unprofessional. Very price for the quality of service we received. My mother was charge for removal of the nail polish ($18) and each nail (Between &3-$5 per nail) in additional to the gel service, and we were not informed for this extra charges at the time. (Although I personally interrupted my service to inquire the old man what was going on… remember). When I complaint about this horrid experience and these additional charges (a total of $74 for one regular pedi and one gel nail mani) the old rude and uneducated man, threatened me to call the police and physically threatened me with his hands. I felt so scared that I payed and left as soon as I could with my elderly mother. Didn’t leave any tip… as you can imagine.l’ll never go back to this place and I would not even give them a one start for the worse customer service, we have experienced ever in a nail salon across the USA. This old man injured four of my mother’s fingers, and they are now bleeding. I just hope they will not get infected. This is THE WORST NAIL SALON IN NM!

Maggie when she does nails will file your skin till it bleeds, the tips they put on are to small and are painful. The spa is clean but the service is poor! Had to go back in and have 2 nails repaired within a few hours as the had huge gaps and were so small!

So I went here with my mom maybe a week ago, to get my hands and feet done, waited a hour and a half never got anything done, we came back the next day another 45 minute wait. When we went back my hands were done super sloppy, no even coats it was a mess. When I got my feet done water was so hot I almost got a burn, the lady who was doing my feet when super hard, the towel they put on my leg almost gave me a burn, dont go here. 3 days after I got my hands done they already started to chip.

We reserved Two appointments for manicures and pedicures at 3 PM. Upon arrival they seated us and chairs, but only one of us got a pedicure. 40 minutes later they offered for my mom to get her pedicure, but had no staffing to do additional managers that were scheduledThey do not seem concerned or apologetic, upon pain, which took forever, we had to bring up the issue, and someone said I’m sorry that’s my fault.

I was in greatly need of a pedicure and manicure was two years over due for a professional one. This place continued to uphold the best customer service and did amazing work! The price is well worth it to me and also the shop is clean. They may not have many employees to get every customer that walks in that door in a timely, but take my word they are worth the wait. I’m one very satisfied mama.

Great place with old fashioned salon service:I went in the other day and it was a great experience. The inside is beautiful and clean. I was a walk-in and they got me in right away.My usual place shut down due to covid unfortunately, but this place found a new regular. I will be returning. Im not your average nail customer, especially for what I do as a profession so dont them done a lot, but after my experience here I will be coming in more often. They give complimentary drinks and water, which was a nice touch.Lina did my nails: finger and toenails. I strongly recommend her. She is so sweet and kind. She paid a lot of attention to detail. I liked talking to her too. (Usually I keep to myself and dont say much at at salon, but she was just a genuine and kind person I didnt mind talking to her.)I let her do her own design on my toenails too. They came out super cute. She did a very clean job with both my hands and feet. She gave me the salons card with her information, which I really liked because she followed through with good service beginning to end. I also like how this place had good old fashioned service it felt like a mom&pop shop with the way Lina and other staff treated me.The one thing I will say is prices are a little high for pedis, but nothing too outrageous. They also have different price points and options, which is good so you can try and stay in budget if thats something you need.Last thing how you pay is a little strange (it was for me at least) They couldnt use my debt card so I had to use their ATM to pay...which was interesting.Overall this place is great and I will be returning to work with Lina.

Loved this nail salon and got the most amazing shellac manicure. It was very easy to get an appointment and was catered to as soon as I walked in. The salon itself is so cute, clean and filled with friendly staff. My manicure lasted close to an hour, I just chose a basic color with no design. I loved how she took her time with me, offered her personal suggestions and kept a friendly conversation going. My manicure lasted for a good 2 weeks and I cannot wait to go back to get my nails done again along with a pedicure this time!Id absolutely be back if I need my nails done any time Im in town. Best Mani pedi experience in Albuquerque!! Everyone is super friendly with great customer service. I walked in randomly and they were so nice and accommodating. I got a full set with gel polish and my technician was awesome. He took his time and was super detail oriented. I got a spa pedicure after and it was so relaxing. I hate going to nail salons that rush through the pedicure and dont do anything. I was there for quite a while it truly was the best pedicure Ive ever had. She took her time, gave the best massage, and made my feet look and feel amazing. Glad I found a new nail salon on this side of town!

Super disappointed with my visit to galaxy. First off my friend I had called ahead for appointments we were there for over 2 hours because they had one person working on both of us. Then the tech kept leaving to work on other clients. I feel it was more about quantity and not quality. I got dip nails and they are horrible! One hand is round and the other is square. There are bubbles and scuffs and they look terrible. I told the tech multiple times I wanted square and matte and he didn’t do anything I wanted. I will not be coming back. Poor customer service and horrible nail work.

I came in to get a pedicure on my lunch break - it was great! I lucked out w/ a parking space in front of their shop. They were professional, friendly and the shop was clean and comfortable. Found this hidden gem while on vacation in Albuquerque. Technician were amazing. So detail oriented, kind and did such a great job on my pedicure and dip manicure. Great selection of colors and available services. I dont think my feet have ever been so soft. Definitely would recommend and come back.

I have tried several nail salons and Galaxy Nail & Spa is a solid 10. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, immaculately clean and feels just like a high end spa. My daughter and I both got a full set of acrylics with gel and theyre perfect. Everyone there is precise and takes their time to ensure that your nails look great. We cant wait to go back!

Usually just get my pedicures done here, always have had a nice experience! My pedicure usually lasts a very long time and I never feel as though they are rushing! The owner is the sweetest, he remembered me when I had only been there once before and a few months prior, I was very impressed and felt very welcomed!

I have been to this location several times. Yesterday i went and they were pretty busy there was a man who I havent seen before who did my manicure. He asked me what I wanted done I told him a manicure but I didnt want polish. When he started he about killed my cuticles they are sooooo sore today. Then he started by putting this polish which I figured was a coating to strengthen nails. I have had them do that when I dont want polish then b4 you know it he was putting another polish. When I realized he was doing GEL POLISH!!!?? I told him I said NO polish he said but this is good for your nails. I said no maybe next time I was in a hurry the next thing I know is he takes it off says okay your done! No lotion no nothing!!! Charged me 15$$$$ never showed me what he charged me for! I will never give this place another try also WHY do they have there own $ machine? They want you to pay cash so it doesnt have to report to the IRS???? Something to think about!!!!

They did a great job on my no chip. The technician actually had to spend a lot more time with me getting off a dip manicure that looked horrible. She took such care and was so careful with my nail as to not damage my actual nail under the dip. She did not rush when she got to the actual no chip that I had come there for and she did an amazing job.

Just got a gel manicure at Galaxy Nails and my nails look great. The salon was clean and used sterilized equipment in between customers. They had a big variety of nail colors and offered designs. I was particularly impressed the manager/owner who greeted each guest and asked for feedback. They offer a 7 day nonchip policy in case the nail color you get chips off! Check it out if youre in the area!

The best nail salon in Albuquerque!I came in the first time with acrylics, nails that were destroyed & drilled into, etc. from previously getting them done at cheap, uneducated and dishonest salons.My nail tech is fantastic, and gave me honest & direct recommendations on restoring my nails while still leaving with the results I want. On top of that, she is the most detailed perfectionist youll ever come across :)The owner & the team are always kind & super accommodating as I often make my appointments at the last minute (not the best planner!) If you havent given this place a try, I highly recommend you make the switch.

This place is great! I got my nails done and a few days later i chipped it. It was all my fault and i went in, they fixed it for free and gave me a fresh layer of paint on all my nails! Helps that its a 100 foot walk from my place too!

I broke my nail last night at the club so I had to find someone to fix it ASAP!!!! I went to a different salon but was turned away because they told me we no fix. Galaxy Nail & Spa fixed my nail beautifully !!!!! My nail tech did form nails which is hard and need experience to do and she matched all of my nails perfectly!! I am so happy ~

I can see why this place as great reviews!! I received a shellac manicure and spa pedicure and it was the best mani/pedi Ive ever gotten. My nail tech was an absolute perfectionist and did a nice job and of course the hand massage was amazing. I also felt the pedicure was very thorough. They took their time and it was very relaxing. Ive been searching for a great nail spot for what seems like forever.... I think Ive finally found it!

My mom and I have always loved this place. The pedicures are amazing. The place is beautifully decorated and is a very relaxing environment. They have lots of options for deluxe style pedicures. They always bring us cold water bottles the second we sit down and have iPods available for us to play on as we get our pedicures done. The work is great and our toes always look great! Walked in on a Wednesday afternoon and they weren’t even busy, however, they had me waiting for over 30 minutes without even acknowledging me. 2 other people walked in and out during thus time and I still waited without any service. Finally left after 35 minutes. Will definitely NOT return!

Fancy place, but unfortunately their nail service does not match their prices. Both times that I had visited the managers did my nails to their satisfaction, not mine. My cuticles where constantly being cut because they did not know how to utilize their equipment properly. Within a week, my gel nail polish and chrome was coming off, and I was ignored when I asked for a refund. After paying for a $70 service I was told in an aggressive tone that I was too picky by the manager/boss.

Awesome! Cant reach my right foot due to hip spur. My left ankle is hurting due to metal plate n screws from surgery. Doc says metal is irritating the arthritis settling in. Your value keeps me healthy n massages are good for circulation..Thanks!!

If you’re looking to get an amazing set of acrylics, go to Peter. I’ve gotten my fair share of acrylics and he has done by far the best job out of anyone who has ever done acrylics for me and for a cheap price at that. He is very freindly and is quick.

This is the best natural nail salon in Houston by far. They only do natural nails meaning no acrylic. They do regular polish, gel, and dip. They are perfectionists and really take their time. You wont find a better duo than Galaxy Nails. Simply amazing at what they do!

I loved my experience at this place! I went in to get a pedicure for my graduation and was embarrassed because my feet were not in the best shape from a day at work... but nothing and no one there made me feel like there was anything wrong with me.

I’ve never had such a bad experience at a nail salon before! The man who did my pedicure cut me on my right big toe (never apologizing; did t speak English) while he was trimming my cuticles and was so rough with the file on the tops of my toenails that I have abrasions on my right big toe, right middle toe, and left second toe all along my cuticles. Meanwhile, my sister got French tip gel pedicure and the woman who performed her service completely neglected to put on the top coat and set the gel on her right foot. I am also highly disappointed in my gel manicure. I was informed that the color I had picked out would cost me $10 extra, fine. But not even 48 hours later, the chrome coat that I paid extra for has already peeled off of 5of my fingers! This is unacceptable. Don’t waste your money like we did!

I have never ever had a worse experience getting my nails done. Yes it’s very clean and nice inside, but no one was friendly! Not great service. It was terrible! The lady doing my nails was rough, left my fingers hurting hours after my appointment. I do not recommend!!!!

I have gotten pedicures here many times and they were always decent so I decided to give them a try for a new set. No designs. One color. Something simple. In less than a week 3 nails popped off. I went back to have them fixed and the very next day two more popped off.

Opening hours on Sunday 11:00am. They don’t show up until 11:15, didn’t start doing our nails until 11:30. No trimming of cuticles, no lotion and moving us to different people to finish the job. It took slot long than any place I’ve been before. Went to pay and they tried to charge us for “removing nail service” we didn’t have anything on our nails. And way over priced. Won’t go back.😔

Extremely rude and unhygienic. The staff has changed from last year and they are very rude. I went in to get 1 of my acrylics fixed and was asked to wait for 30 minutes even though there was no line and multiple employees were there. They don’t change the cuticle cutter between clients and will often be rough and cause my nails to bleed. The gel nail polish will often times peel off with in three days. Three of my acrylic nails broke off with in one week just from doing normal activities. The staff will roll their eyes or huff and puff if you ask for additional services.

This place is by far my favorite place to go to PERIOD! I broke my nail literally in half! Damaged my real nail BAD. He truly is a master of his art! I will never ever go anywhere else in the city . Prices are fabulous and the service is truly 5 star. Best salon in the city, try their other location on Coors and Alameda ❤
