They are amazing! As someone trained to do nails, Ive always struggled to find a place who meets my standards. Theyre homey, very clean, and do outstanding work. Don and his girls treat everyone like family. Prices are a little higher but its worth the quality. Will be going back!

This is my new nail salon. These girls take their time to do their work. Their prices are fair & they’re upfront about their numbers. I just recently went through a bad string of nail salons, found them and I’m completely impressed. They go by appointment however they did take me as a walk in my first encounter. I went in around 4pm on a wednesday. Excellent work. They’re funny and keep the atmosphere light.. just love this place!!!

Went there yesterday because they were recommended. Ive been getting gel manicures for years. There was no manicure done just a polish change. Hands werent soaked to cut the cuticles which made my skin sore. Paint is sloppy and so was the fix for the broken nail. Very nice and friendly people but I dont recommend them. Paid way too much for what they did.

Well. Ive been to plenty of Nail Spas in this area. Actually more than I can count. I was never a loyal customer to any of them because I was never overwhelmingly impressed. Until now! I have been going to DC nails for about 6 months. What brought me back is the owner, Don, who simply looked at my feet and actually knew that I rarely sit down, that I stand and walk a a lot, but more importantly, he recognized that my nails needed help to be healthy explaining everything to me. My toes look better and better with each visit. Signed a loyal customer!

Excellent experience. I have some disabilities and I just needed my toenails cut. There was someone available because of appointment cancellations. No pressure to get anything more. Nice and clean. I was given a card to get punched each time I go back and encouraged to make an appointment, since they are usually busy. And my feet feel so much better!

Had an absolute wonderful experience here! First time client and I was very please with the work and effort put into my nails I usually only get a French manicure but this time got a pale pink ombre with designs on my ring fingers and the girl exceeded my expectations and did a beautiful job! Highly recommend D&Cs nails!

I have been going to D & C Nails for 3 years now and just love them. Each member of the family makes you feel special during your visit. Never had to return for chips or smudges made. The Spa Pedicure is awesome for both men and women. Love hitting them on the weekends when the girls are home from college, but just as happy with Don and Cookie too. :)

Very nice people but my nails are in sad shape they are uneven not smooth and the polish doesnt even cover the sides of my nail my nails are also lifting and I just got them done yesterday its been a while since I got them done and was looking for a new place but I dont think Ill return

Tried D&C nails because a friend recommended. Best experience ever! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. I got there an hour before they closed and wanted a Mani/pedi . They stayed open later to do my nails and even though it was past closing time they did not rush and did an excellent job. To top it off I couldnt find my wallet and they helped me look since my nails were still wet. Will definitely go back there!

The good....They said that they would take me even though I didnt have an appointment. That was the only good. The bad...I was sat down, and my polish was removed. I then continued to sit there and wait for another 45 minutes until a nail tech was available (again, no appointment, so I was patient). All I wanted was a gel manicure. This was FAR from a manicure! Not only did they paint my nails in less than 10 minutes, the process was so rushed that a few of my finger nails werent even painted all the way to the edges! Maybe the service is better if you are a repeat customer and have an appointment, but be warned.

Your shellac will last a very long time. There is only one person that does eyebrows there during the week. Cookie! Shes the best. Husband and wife owned and operated! A pleasure every time!

This is the best nail salon I’ve been to by far!!! My sister and I tried this place for the first time together and couldn’t believe we had been driving past this place for years without going in! The people are sooo friendly and personable. The work they do is amazing. The first time I went there I brought in a nail design I found on Pinterest and she nailed it! I couldn’t be more satisfied with their service. I’ve come here multiple times with no disappointments. I NEVER write reviews, but I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great nail salon to go to.

I just returned home from my first visit to D&C. When I first got in, an older lady started working on my nails. She removed the polish and began to file down the old acrylic to prep for the fill-in. She took her time and was very thorough. A few minutes later, another lady took over. I was later told that was Cookie, the owner. She was rushed and moving much more quickly. She kept looking around as she worked on my nails. While using the electric filer, she kept nicking my skin. I jumped a couple times because it hurt! She filed some of my nails crooked, and I had to ask twice for her to fix them. When it came time to paint, she pressured me to buy the gel polish, although I still declined. There was no base coat. She quickly dabbed some adhesive stuff on my nails, and then quickly painted them with the color, not even making sure to paint the entire nail. The top coat was done as sloppily as possible. You can see in the finished product where the painted nail is not painted with top coat. And then to finish, I sat my hands under their drying table where the fans were blowing too hard, and the air actually blew the wet paint. You can see the swirls in the paint. I love the color, but thats about it.

Everyone there is extremely nice. Its a family owed nail salon and you feel very welcomed as a customer. However, I am rating this based on my experience once I leave the salon and the longevity of my nails. The first time I went I got acrylic set w/ gel color, Did not last at all... This time around i just went for a gel manicure & the next day 2 already were chipped. I felt like my manicure was rushed. Sucks, after you pay 30 dollars the next day your manicure is ruined. :(

I couldn’t be any happier. I went in with a full set done elsewhere and I want happy. They were bulky, to wide and thick. But when I went here they fixed them how I wanted them and I absolutely love them. My daughter as well was very pleased with her nails! Thank you 😊

My step mom & I came here for a manicure. We both did the shellac & both manicures took about a total of 30 minutes. 3 weeks later our nails are still totally in tact, havent chipped at all! Great service & great experience.

You cant beat the price for the work that is done. I have paid for overpriced work and the time spent being rushed. I always choose the best pedicure places have to offer because I do not get them done on a regular basis, and I usually leave disappointed for what I get for the price I pay; I didnt feel that way here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Quite a few people really seem to like this place, but it wasnt for me. The environment isnt professional, and employees engage openly in opinionated conversations. Its fine that they want to connect with their customers, but they need to keep in mind that not all customers share the same views. The mani/pedi that I received was also rushed. The shellac that I had done started peeling off only a couple of days later. Im not sure if it was just an off day for them, but I will not be returning to this establishment.

So I went in with my client I take care of I got a normal polish manicure $12 and she got a manicure with gel $30. Personally I was shocked with the price jump and did not see gel polish price posted any where. The nail tech was trying to pressure me into getting gel as well. My manicure was rushed and she clipped the skin around my nails with the cuticle calipers far too much. The paint job was sloppy and had bubbles or pieces of fuz in it when it was done. My clients nails looked pretty good but I was disappointed prices where not known before it was time to pay.

While the customer service or the way they handle customers may be great, the work is very poor. Its rare that one can go in here and walk out satisfied. Often times the work is rushed and the nails turn out awful. Very overpriced and not wort it for the job they do. Again, the family is very nice, polight, etc, but the work is not good at all.

They are always so nice and always make me look nice. I get my nails and eyebrows done there religiously!! Love it

She reviewed the company’s culture with repairing and/or replacing chipped gel nails. She described the working relationship built or understood between client and owners. She also described different variables that would cause premature chipping. She replaced my gel nail set free of charge. I have uploaded a picture of the replaced nails. Thank you.Original review:The experience was very good, everyone was warm and friendly. I spent $100.00 at this company for a mani/pedi gel set with brow waxing. This review is rated at a two because after 1 week of having my mani/gel set they are chipping horribly! I mean horribly. I noticed the first day after two hours the gel on my fingers deformed a little and wasn’t very smooth. I do not get my nails done often but the last time I had gel nails they were flatter. It hasn’t been a full two weeks and my nails are horrible looking 😱. My plan is to schedule an appointment and give it another try...create a dialogue about it because these were bad.

Came here for a pedicure with my best friend. We have now been sitting here for an hour and no one has even started on our pedis... There appears to be only one person here actually doing pedis and still two other people waiting. If we knew there would be only one nail technician working, we would have taken our business elsewhere as we have other tasks to accomplish today and didnt expect to be here several hours for a simple pedicure. Very disappointed that they didnt even give us an estimated time.I was happy with the actual pedicure so I will give them three stars for the overall experience.

Ive been a customer at D&C for almost 12 years. If I wasnt satisfied with the services, I would not continue going there. All of the staff know how I like my nails done and its rare that I have to point out something minor that Id like corrected. And even on those occasions, they always take care of my concerns with a smile.

Went there 8-23-15; staff friendly but my nails are jacked!!! Never have I ever had a manicure done without any water number 1. So no soaking no nothing...gel polish taken off nails and clear coat applied! Clear gel applied then tried to clean up cuticle area Im sure thats not proper technique! So no I wont be returning...I know there is an urgency to get people in and out but that service & nail job was ridiculous! NOT HAPPY AT ALL

I called to make appointment! I requested the gentleman ( husband /Dad) this was a week in advance! Arrived at my scheduled appointment on time! Told the person behind desk I have an appointment with her Dad! Oh hes not here but my mother can do the same! This was my second visit! My first visit which I stopped by before making appointment to make sure someone was able to help me with my ingrown toenails that was poorly done by a doctor! So first time the gentleman jumped in when I was trying to tell the lady my problems! She had no clue how to take care of this! So gave them second change again! As I stated I was told I would have gentleman at my scheduled appointment! As earlier said he wasnt there! So the mother started working on me! Within 15 minutes many walk in customers came in! So the mother did a horrible job on inground toenail! I had to tell her unacceptably! I purchased the time of line pedicure ! It was awful approxy 15 minutes ! So in a hurry to take care Of the walk ins! I wasSo dissatisfied I would never ever go back or recommed this salon!

I was going here for a while until today .....my daughter was not even running or nothing like that ....and she told my daughter in a very disrespectful manner to stop making a supposedly disturbing noise ...instead of telling me ....after that the mom and the owner started screaming, very disrespectful way saying that kids are not allowed there etc...like if my Daughter didn t have manners .......FIRST TIME THIS HAPPENDS IN A NAIL SALON .....NEVER COMING BACK.....SOOO DISAPPOINTED UNCOMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE.......😤😤😤😤

I was very unhappy with my service my pedi was terrible asked them to get ingrown they never did my feet were still rough my fill only last 2 days before the gel came off and the nails broke i will never go back and when i tried to call about there two week promise one gel they said i was lying and hung up on me
