This is what the nail technician did to my toe on 9/26/2021. She used the pumice bar and scraped layers of skin. It was and is still very painful. She also charged me full price for the pedicure. I will never go back to this salon again.

I got these nails for my birthday and I wanted a SIMPLE gel. First of all, the nail tech started pushing back my cuticles AND MADE ME BLEED. I was over here telling her it hurt and she just apologized and did it again. Also, the nails was sloppy and the service was expensive for the quality of nail. I could’ve went to Walmart and bought nail polish myself if I wanted whatever the heck that was. Won’t be going again.

Go at your own risk!The service was horrible and when I tried to resolve my issue with the manager he did not want to help me. When any customer has a problem it is good to know that the manager is willing to help resolve the issue. However when the manager does not help you than this does not reflect well on the business.

Nightmare. Go at your own risk, if you are white, nothing to worry about. Theyd steep your nails in acetone and walk away till your skin turns silver. You can not voice ur opinion on nails then the rest of ur appointment will be hell on wheels.

Whether it’s your first or hundredth Time coming to Asian retreat you need to ask for B if you have never experienced his work. His attention to detail is unmatched and he is sure to make you smile ! Since I moved to Florida I started going here and getting pedicures which were always good.2 weeks ago I decided to let them do my natural gel polish and I loved it. So today I went in to get the polish redone because my nails had grown.And they completely ruined my nails I had polish all over and instead of removing all and starting over they just kept pushing back and cutting my cuticle down!They cut me twice and im still bleeding.The manager didnt care at all and did nothing.I will never go there again.

Warning do not do business with this place!!!I purchased a gift card for my wife to use and the experience she had was horrible. Take your business somewhere else and save yourself from stress and horrible service!

They Were Fast And I Love The Way They Did My Eyebrows

I love Asian retreat and every time I go there I normally have a good experience. There’s one lady who sits in the front left side when you walk in, wears high heels and has a bob haircut. She’s very rough, makes me bleed every time and OVER charges her clients. I came in with SNS and asked for SNS again (they normally file down and soak the previous SNS off with acetone) but she filed down the top coat (left the previous color on) and applied new dip on top. And tried to charge me an extra $10 when I only did black nails. I didn’t change my shape, add design ANYTHING to make it add to $50 instead of the normal $40 SNS. The owner is extremely nice and listens to her clients and same with the other friendly staff but NOT this lady. I do NOT recommend her.

I have been getting my nails and pedicures done with Cindy and Sue for 22 years. They are the best in the industry. They use expensive and good products that make you Nails look great! When I visit the Salon I feel I am with family everyone is so courteous and professional. I highly recommend them to everyone. Please ask for Cindy and Sue.

I was so pleased with this nail salon. It was my first time here and I was truly impressed. I don’t write reviews often but I was really happy with her attention to detail with my manicure. I highly recommend this place.

I was iffy about this place reading some of the reviews, but i’ve been to worse so i still visited. my tech didn’t talk much, but she was very nice and careful not to hurt me. it was busy and bustling but i did not have to wait and i didn’t feel rushed. the way my nails came out looked incredible. the shape is great and the color i chose was awesome. it was my first time here and you could hear them chatting with their regular customers, which shows people like coming back and their service is pretty good. the only reason i’m giving this place 4 stars is cuz it’s a little expensive for acrylics at least. a regular mani/ pedi and polish changes aren’t bad. they’re $15/$25 and $10 hands/$12 feet. my fill was $35 which i could usually get for $14 and a full set is also $35 which you can usually get for $20. other than that i had a pretty good experience.

My daughter wanted her nails done for homecoming. She got TC and he was GREAT! She showed him a picture and he assured her he can do it. He went above and beyond what she wanted, making sure her nails were perfect. We’ve gone to other salons and regretted it but have never regretted going to Asian Retreat. Keep up the great work.

This nail salon is very beautiful on the inside. They open late which is usually nonexistent in most nail salons in the area. Today I came here to the salon to get a fill and a relaxing pedicure by Liz! She is a sweetheart! She is always so nice and personable every time I come to do my nails. She takes her time and is very detailed when you are in her care. She is absolutely amazing and very patient when I take forever to choose an nail color or design. I definitely will recommend everyone to this salon. Come and request Liz! You won’t regret it. :)

I was lucky enough to randomly get TC last night when getting my nails done...I have truly never had someone who cared so much about my nails looking great. He is amazing at his job. I had stopped coming here but glad I gave it a try again. Love that they were open late so I could get there after work

Let me start by saying this is an evolving review, and I plan to contact the salon after tomorrow’s event.Second, let me say that in the 16 years I’ve been having my eyebrows waxed, this is the first time I’ve had such a poor and painful experience.I went today with a bridal party, and the person working on my pedicure asked if I wanted my eyebrows done too. I really, really wish I’d declined. Initially the burning sensation didn’t feel too far out of line with a typical waxing. As I paid it felt worse, but again (foolishly) I didn’t look closely at the work. On the drive home I pulled over and was shocked to see skin around both eyes had been ripped off.(Photo has antibiotic ointment applied, which adds the shine. But the rest is the salon’s ‘work’.)I hope that I am able to update this review after discussing the results with the salon - but for tomorrow’s event, it’s too late. I feel it’s important to share this result with anyone considering the salon for special event prep.

I went into Asian Retreat and Nail Salon about a month ago and when I went it was 7:20pm (40 mins before closing). I wanted a lot done to my nails; remove my old full set, put a new full set on with the coffin shape, and ombré powder. It was quite a job! Cindy and Mindy were amazing to me! They didn’t turn me away or say it was too late to get all of those things done. Mindy started my nails right away and Cindy finished them with a perfect job done!!! I didn’t walk out of the nail salon until 9:45pm and they closed at 8. I couldn’t thank Cindy enough for staying back so late to perfect my nails. She truly enjoys what she does and has a love for doing nails. She made sure my nails looked flawless! Thank you guys so much for your great customer service and amazing job on my nails. This is why I always choose Asian Retreat to get my nails done! Amazing place!

I was referred to this place specially to book with TC. I am very particular about my nails so of course I’m also critical of anyone’s work. I booked with TC who came highly recommended. I left impressed. He does amazing work!! (SNS). He takes time to ask questions and understand his customer which is a rare experience in nail salons. The plus is that he stands by his work.

If I could give 0 stars I definitely will. I’m not from here but I called and said would it be okay if I came at 8. They said sure! I stated what I wanted and walked in for my appointment. I got my pedicure first. Didn’t even shape my toes right and was a sloppy job. They wouldn’t even give me a refund because they want to put the blame on you! Then it was time for my nails (gel). Usually back home when I get gel nails they would add a tip for me since my nails are short. Of course they didn’t want to do that. Lady walked up and spoke to her friend in her language and they were laughing and bickering. The young woman came back to me and said she can’t do my nails or the lady who was doing my pedicure because I said gel nails. Okay well I explained that I am not from here and they say something different. It was only 8:22. They close at 9. They only care about making money and closing. The woman who said no one can do my nails because everyone went home, she was finishing up someone’s nails and still had time to do mine. Never waste your money here. Service is trash and attitudes are bad

It is the most unprofessional thing ever.My girl was super sweet and was at a loss for this unprofessional behavior.This happened 3 times while I was there. 3 times in less than an hour. My wife loves going to Melody. She takes her time and always does a neat job. My wife says gel manicure can come off easily if not applied properly. With Melody it last 3 weeks without lifting. She also does my nails and my kids nails as well.

Ive been there regularly for a few months. A really nice young girl did my pedicure and then a guy did my pink and white manicure. He was very rude and ladies if you were in there at the time you were being laughed at in Vietnamese. He even was pointing at us! He walked away while my nails were drying. The lights on dryer went off so I took my hands out. The other manicurist had to call him back and he was rude and told me you cant follow instructions. I told him the lights went off. I will never go back there! I refer people to salons and I will tell them about the friendly new place Ive started going to!!!

I just got my nails done last night. I needed a gel refill, and to fix 2 broken nails! Tina did my nails and she was awesome! It was my first time going there. The shop was about to close, and they still took me in! Will be back soon! Excellent work, my nails are beautiful.

I dont get acrylic nails often. I decided to treat myself to pink and white nails one day at a salon on Maguire. Within one week, all my nails were lifting off. The next time I went to Asian Retreat and got a pink and white full set again. The nails looked beautiful and lasted over a month! Highly recommend!!

I highly do not recommend this nail salon. DO NOT GO HERE!! Me and my two other friends went to get our nails and were expecting a good girls day, but instead when we first got there they told us to hurry up and sit down. Also when the guy was doing my nails he cut me three times and one of the times I jerked my hand back it hurt so much. They were also just talking and not paying attention to their “JOB!” The guy made me pay an extra $5 for the design when I really should have got them done for free. Again don’t go here.

My daughter and I went for mani-pedis yesterday. I was unhappy with both. It kind of looks like I did it myself with my left hand. I dont think they know what they are doing, or dont have proper training. They rushed and didnt even bother to stay in the lines.Not coming back

My nails came out horrible!!! I dont even know where to start! First their technicians talk too much, and dont pay attention to their customer in front of them, thats when they tend to cut you! Second, if youre shift is over, why attend a new customer?! Then they RUSH and do the worst job ever and expect a good tip! The audacity! Third and final, they dont clean the nail enough for the other color to go nice on. so upset. Cant believe it.

I was blown away by the service! Joe opened the doors for me 15 min early because I had to get to work by a certain time. He did my pink and white fill with gel in about 35 minutes...and did it beautifully! I will be back again and again.

I made an appointment to get my nails done and had to come back the next day. I wanted to get a full set with long nails but they don’t know how to do nails that aren’t short. My nails look HORRIBLE!! And they didn’t try to fix them what so ever. The nail lady caught an attitude, and acted like she didn’t want to finish my nails. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!! All of the nail techs are very rude!

It’s just a gamble when you get in there.. they rush through the service and my nails are just sticky and messy looking. I tried to give them another chance but it’s just quantity over quality. Not worth paying for

They charge a lot of money for basic nail looksand the woman who just waxed me was not trained at all, the wax wasn’t warm and she was all over the place pulling in any direction, slapping the wax thick, made my eyebrows crooked and short on the middle 😑 I should of just waited🤦‍♀️

I used to go to Lovely Nails in the same shopping center but a change in work hours and baseball schedule made me change to Asian Retreat because they are open an hour later. The quality is not consistent and the customer service is not as good as Lovely Nails and has gone down in the past 3 months significantly. Tonight I went in at my usual Monday night time about 7:45. I was told “everybody went home early so can you come back at 9am?” Sure, if I quit my job. I noticed 2 employees standing in the back straightening up towels but the tech at the front said “sorry, no one is here to do fills.” I asked why the door was unlocked and the open sign on if they weren’t taking any customers more than hour before closing. The tech had nothing to say and asked if I wanted to make an appointment Tuesday night. “No I do not, I’ll make an appointment at Lovely Nails.” I saw one of the nail techs lock the door after I hit in my car...more than an hour before 9pm closing.

Workers are super nice. Been here many times. I never wait long. Always a great job done on my nails.

I HATEEEEE to be writing a negative review right now - I never have before, but the reason I am today is because Im hoping that a manager or someone in charge at Asian Retreat can educate more on or do something about customer service.Today was my 5th time at Asian Retreat. I had a good experience ONCE, and it was with Cindy. It is a clean-looking salon with a relaxing vibe, but 3 times OTHER than today I was treated with less-than-desirable customer service - and today completely threw it out of the water. Before I go further, I think it is significant to point out that the only reason I have gone to this salon - today and in the past - is for convenience as it is closest to my house but not my normal salon.I was acknowledged begrudgingly by someone who directed me to a chair without looking up from a phone. No big deal. I sat next to a nice woman who was getting her nails done, and I complimented her nail tech who gave a rude-sounding response, and would not tell me which colors were on her nails (again, no biggie). Next, my nail tech was either texting or on her phone (with headphones) to the point that she couldnt hear my questions, concerns, or compliment about her watch; I wont go into specifics, mostly because it will cause this review to be three times the length it already is, but throughout the entirety of me ATTEMPTING to come to an agreement with my nail tech on colors, my nail techs feedback about how the colors I wanted wont look good on me, and her telling me she couldnt do ombré after she already said yes when I first walked in, her and the aforementioned nail tech proceeded to very openly and pointedly talk about me and laugh. That happened after she was yelling at me so bad that everyone in the vicinity was watching and listening. A male employee ended up coming over to get the colors I wanted for an ombré and told me she could do it, but as soon as he left it was such a big deal with my nail tech AGAIN that I ended up just telling her to do one color... she also wouldnt do the shape I wanted and told me the shape she wanted was better. The ONLY reason I didnt leave when all of this was going on is I wouldnt have had time to go somewhere else to fix what she had already started. $60 later, I have a set of nails I dont like and a mindset that couldnt possibly be changed about this salon, regardless of positive reviews.As I said before, I NEVER want to write a negative review or talk badly about a business, but I figured after today and this being my 4th time with bad experiences at this salon someone has to say something. I am absolutely appalled after what happened today, and I am typically an extremely understanding, laid back, forgiving person, but I will NOT be going back here regardless of convenience.

It’s my birthday tomorrow! And this is my first time here !, the girl by the name Tina which who’s doing my pedi kept asking me to do the gel and I said I’m here to do the regular pedi !!! She kept asking 4-5 times to upgrade and it’s only $55 I said please I have to go I don’t have time, and how rude from her when she talk with her language and I’m sure she was talking about me because the other lady’s start laughing.She already ruined my mode and I will never come back specially I had to tell her to stop because it’s my birthday tomorrow. I was in to get an eyebrow wax with my sister and she went first. I was watching and the lady was reusing the same stick of wax double dipping it into the hot wax over and over again. then the trimming scissors and tweezers were in an unsanitary cup and she threw them back in there with out cleaning them. The mascara wand she used to shape her eyebrows were full of other people hair and old wax. I definitely did not go next. That’s disgusting. Contaminated wax and dirty tools is not what I want on my skin. I’ve been there in the past to get a pedicure and a manicure and didn’t like the service then but now I know they probably use dirty contaminated clippers and files too. Not going back

This is my usual go to spot for pedicure and manicure, but that may be changing! This last time I went I end up back the next day having it redone. My pedicure was ok however she did a half job of it. No massage just put lotion on and rubbed it in, and the same with the manicure. The manicure was worst though, I had her remove the polish she put on because it was so uneven and you saw every stoke. She was not happy about taking it off and I ended up leaving with just a clear coat on.When I went back to have it redone the next day a different girl did a quick pedi and mani, the pedi was better but my polish on my nails are still awful. They look like they have been painted for a week and it’s growing out, and it’s uneven

Horrible and overpriced. I got the deluxe pedicure, and it was obvious she didnt know what she was doing. Very rude. The tech kept answering her phone and looking at her watch. Normally I dont care if people are on their phone as long as they do a great job. This was not the case. I will be going to another salon to get my nails done properly.

I went to this nail salon for the first time and was blown away by the friendliness of the staff. The salon is super clean and very nice and modern inside. I had a manicure done with the OPI Axxium gel and it looks amazing. They offer many services and have an abundance of staff to get the job done. This will certainly be my new nail place!

Went here to get SNS on my nails and will not be going back- ever. The tech that did my nails used the grinder to take the previous polish off but the defeats one of the purposes of getting SNS. I want to avoid having the grinder used on my nails because of the damage it can cause. She didnt even remove all of the previous color before she started coating. She was really rough and rarely acknowledged anything I said. Its been three days since my nails were done and the color is already rubbing/chipping off so that my nail is showing through. My mother went with me and it took another tech 3 hours to do her nails- and they never apologized. Dont waste your money. Ill be going to a different salon this weekend to get my nails redone.

Worst day of my life!Today I went in this salon to make my nails and toes.The attendants were really rude, surly, non polite, unprofessional!!!Gossiping among them in a foreign language (perhaps Chinese).They didnt have patience to explain the services options or even not given me time to choose mys nails color. Price? $ 70 to deliver a really low quality service.I will never return to this salon and of course, I dont recommend this to anyone!

PLEASE do not support this nail salon, this has been My 3rd time trying this salon, and now I will definitely not be going back.I got a full set of acrylic nails, my fingers where so sore afterwards with a couple of bleeding cuts from the ruff careless electric filling. Charged $50 plus tip.2 days later I’m taking a shower and my pinky nail starts to move weirdly and painfully.After my shower the fake nail was coming off my pinky, I carefully removed the fake nail and now my pinky has little to no natural nail left. Very painful and looks infected also. If I could upload pics I would!Take my advice and your money else where for some nice nails.(Any advice on what todo as of me please let me know)

My first attempt at using Asian retreat was so strange. I asked for a French manicure style and 3 separate ladies said it was too complicated and they couldn’t. I just had to collect my stuff and walk out.

I got a glitter gel manicure and it was great but it was 30 DOLLARS in my opinion that’s expensive and one and a half weeks later it peeled off so easily.

I have been coming here since I moved to Winter Garden nearly a decade ago and as of recently they have really gone downhill. The last two pedicures I got here were awful; the polish was sloppy and started chipping off after just a few days. After these last two visits, I cant say that I will be back, and to top it off, parking there is a nightmare!
