I can not speak highly enough of Gerard and his team. I was in a panic when I saw mold/water in my pantry and cabinets and my boyfriend immediately called Puroclean after we called a company where the owner was just not listening to what we felt was the problem.Gerard came the very next day to inspect everything and listened to our concerns and was able to determine the cause of the issue in less than an hour.This team works HARD!They have been here every single day for the last week and a half ensuring that their equipment is running and repairing only what was damaged and not trying to take us for our money.Gerard who is the owner texts me nightly to make sure we are doing ok and that the equipment is still ok. (which for a business is not heard of anymore for the owner to be so involved). He has even come on weekends to check on the floors drying and works around our schedule. You can tell he has a passion for his business.Angela the project manager has been truly a blessing and has been so understanding of my concerns given that we have 2 small children. She has given me reassurance so many times that they work hand in hand with my insurance to the point where I feel like we as customers should be doing more for them but they have have taken the reigns and continues to get the job done.Donny & DeAngelo have blown me away with how much work they have gotten done in such a short amount of time and always come in professional, greet my kids to where my oldest daughter asks me if they are coming back tomorrow.I could go on for hours about how this team has helped us as a family not only getting the job done and continuing the project start to finish, but emotionally as a family who had more damages than we even imagined.I will only recommend PuroClean to people who may have the same repairs we needed done and if god forbid we have something go wrong again, we will use them time and time again!

Unfortunately a pipe burst in my shower upstairs while the family was out for the day, came home to a mess of flooding in the house. luckily I was referred to puroclean and I couldnt be any more happy with the quickness of their response along with their professionalism from their top representatives all the way down to their employees in the field. Every one was more than accomdating and empathic of the situation at hand. they were very neat and made the whole process easy. hopefully will never have to use them again but I would highly recommend to anyone. 5 stars all around.

I was in a panic. A geothermal heat pump in my attic had let go and water was pouring into my downstairs bedroom through the ceiling fan and a light fixture. I got the water turned off but what to do then? I called my insurance company and they told me to call Puroclean. I did and they were at my house three hours later! They spent the next couple of days drying, dehumidifying, and treating wall and ceiling cavities. They pulled out the wet insulation. They moved furniture and carpet padding. Everything! I could not be more pleased with how quickly they were on the job and how thoroughly they did the work. I cannot say enough nice things about the folks in the Wilmington office!

Angela and a team of professionals arrived at my home within an hour of my calling them when we had a broken water pipe that did extensive damage to my floors, baseboards, and contents. For 2 weeks- including over Christmas- they worked tirelessly to remove damaged materials and make sure there was NO water/moisture left to lead to mold or other problems. Puroclean did an outstanding job when we had water damage in our home. Very responsive, great people, quality work.

Very unresponsive. 1) Drove an hour for a previously-set-up appointment to have my moldy car assessed to find a note on the locked office door that Robert left the office early. Tried to call him...it went to voice mail, so we called Angela at his office who made him come back to look at our car. 2) After the assessment Sept. 7, Robert verbally gave us an estimate of $175-225 and promised to email an invoice, but when he still hadnt sent anything by Sept. 22, we had to call the office again to try to get him in gear. 3) After another one of his lame excuses, Robert finally emailed an invoice for $375.00!!! Sorry, three strikes and youre out. I wont do business with a person who has no commitment to the job and cares nothing about customer service.

In January we received a phone call from our neighbor stating that water was pouring out of our third floor condo in Wilmington NC. Our condo is located in one of 6 buildings in our complex to have suffered losses from the historic sustained freezing weather. The first company called by our property manager walked off the job after 20 minutes stating they were maxed out and had no more resources to mitigate the damage. With that I phoned Angie Smock at PuroClean Restoration Professionals. Angie had her team to our home within 30 minutes and they immediately arrested the situation and began the arduous process of remediation. This is not the first time we have gone through a process of this magnitude, but it is the first time we have ever dealt with a company that is as professional, customer service oriented, honest, and meticulous. Our unit was a model so there are high-end finishings that are delicate and expensive. There was not one finishing as much as disturbed during the removal of a travertine tile floor, ceilings, walls, insulation, fixtures, moldings, etc. My previous experiences with remediation companies proved to be exactly the opposite. We remain greatly appreciative and remarkably impressed with how PuroClean showed great respect with regard to our home, and exhibited pride in their work, that in this day is rare.During the restoration process we experienced multiple challenges, unforeseen obstacles, and several other complex issues one of which was an issue with our HVAC unit freezing up and leaking water through the ceiling in one of our bathrooms. Their contractor noticed the leak, contacted Angie and immediately she sent a crew to our home to stop the leak, remove the wet insulation, and dry out the sheet rock at no additional charge to us. Angie Smock, Director of Marketing, and the owner Robert Romero, took command of every situation. They assured and reassured us that they had this project under control and that all will be well. This was especially important since we live in VA and could not be on site. With that they delivered everything they promised and then some! We have the utmost respect, and appreciation for Angie and Robert. It is with great gratitude we thank them for taking amazing care, as well as a personal interest, in delivering a most superior product and service. We discovered mold in our walls in two areas of our home. I immediately started calling specialist because I have never had to deal with this issue before and was very concerned. Puroclean was one of the first i called and received a call back the same day and Mr Romero came over, he was very professional and helped calm our fears . He gave us a written estimate and wow what a difference ! He was not only the most reasonable but the most efficient and courteous person we had to deal with. He was always available at any time for my (MANY) text questions or phone calls and started the job on our schedule!! And his crew were wonderful ! I think the initial first day took a little longer because maybe the worker was new? but again, Mr Romero himself came and made it right bringing in another worker and they finished the job.I wish I had remembered their names because they were great but Im sure Mr Romero knows and will thank them for me. There are several like this in town ( I spoke with them all_and their outrageous pricing and time frames)but I guarantee you will save time, money and get the job done right if you call Mr Romero & his crew! I have referred people to Porcelean and always heard great reviews! They cleaned the HVAC duct work in a home for a very good client of mine. He said they were on time, very very professional, knew what they are doing and left the house way better then it was when they got there!!! I highly recommend them for HVAC duct cleaning, fire and water restoration and carpet cleaning.
