Pride did an excellent job on our home. Though it took a long time, Andrea Horan was with us every step of the way! Thanks for the great job!
I cant explain how much you learn with the range of knowledge this company has to offer. They will take care of you every step of the way. They have definitely earned my trust!
Called on a Sunday and got a prompt call back. The pride team came out the next day, inspected the craw space, and identified the issue. The next day and began the remediation. They did a great job and I was very impressed with the quick response.
Have you tried Hydrolyze? The owner, Jim, told me about this product as I dislike all commercial hand sanitizers because they are harsh, full of chemicals, and dry out my hands horribly. Hydrolyze does NOT do any of those things. It is made with electrolyzed water and hypochlorous acid, and leaves my hands feeling soft and moisturized! In addition, you can spray it wherever you need to sanitize and deodorize. I highly recommend this product! Thank you Jim and Pride Cleaning and Restoration!Deb Mayak
Pride does a great job communicating with their clients about what they need and explaining the process. As a roofing contractor, weve done work with a lot of restoration companies and Pride is top-notch. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
We used Pride to clean and restore interior damage caused by a leaking roof. They did a great job and were the most professional crew we have ever used to paint and repair our home. They arrived on time, were polite and efficient, and completed the job on schedule (which really pleased my wife as we were having dinner guests on the last day of the job.) We are planning to use them again to paint the remainder of the interior because we were so impressed by their work..
My company provided some services to Pride in the Topsail, NC area in October of 2018. We are currently owed $46,000 from Pride going on 17 months now. We have made every attempt to handle this matter professionally and patiently. There has been little communication from Pride on this debt. I’ve attached some picture of conversations between my company and a Pride showing when a settlement was reached and how they have no intention to pay the debt.
STAY AWAY!!!! Company came in to repair water damage and tore up my business space and left it for 3 months and its still going on. They have have used the excuse to finish the job due to supplies not available and permits taking time. Not three months long. Ive been operating my business with open walls and insulation exposed. They took the deposit and held us hostage.
I found Pride renovations through Home Advisors. They had good reviews. When I 1st called them, everything seemed like it was going to be great. I paid my deductible and they brought 2 dehumidifiers to my house that day. Then I dont know what happened. I asked for a quote for the work numerous times. 2weeks later, the dehumidifiers are still in my house and still no quote. My insurance advisor called them and had them remove the equipment. Still no quote. Got a call they needed to remeasure everything to get me a quote. Decided after that, they were not the company for me. Completely unorganized. I requested a refund minus the rental fee for the 2 dehumidifiers and have yet to receive refund or response. One positive about the company is that everyone that works there are really nice and easy to speak with. Just not sure what is going on behind the scenes or with upper management.Update about this company...After many more attempts to contact owner of company to get refund, they sent me an additional invoice. Items on this invoice include being charged for delivery and pick up of dehumidifiers at $150 each trip which included travel time (2hrs). The shop is 13miles from my house and it took no more than 10-15mins to drop off and pick up equipment. Pride charged me $125 a day for the rental of the dehumidifiers but you can rent an xl dehumidifier from home depot for a whole week for just $200. Pride charged me $150.00 for coming out to evaluate the work that needed to be done at my house but I never got a quote or anything to show for the work. In fact, they were going to need to send an employee out again to reevaluate so they could get me the quote. Due to that, I cant figure out what I am being charged $150.00 for.If you want fair pricing and organized, efficient service, then this is not the company to use.
Jim and Sue are two of the nicest, most professional, knowledgable people I know in the restoration business. I would not hestitate to recommend Pride to my family and friends.
Very professional and quick to respond. They have state of the art equipment and can find hidden damage almost instantly. Highly recommended!!
Last week I called them to cleaning and painting works. Oh god! these guys are so irresponsible in their field work. The staves are so lazy and took long time to startup. After 5 days they even asked to extend the time limit to do these jobs.
I met the owner of Pride Cleaning and Restoration at my local real estate Investors association meeting. He showed up impromptu after Hurricane Florence and explained to our group how he came to the area to help out a friend who was in trouble with damage to their home. He was very genuine and likeable. I decided to call him immediately the following morning to see if he could help me out with my own damaged properties. He came over promptly and assessed the damage and spent the time to explain and help me understand just how far the extent of the water damages were. I am a licensed general contractor and thought I had things under control but had an eye opening experience after Prides evaluation. Without them I would have agreed with my Adjusters opinion of the house being okay in general. The reality was almost 100% of the insulation in the walls was wet enough to be growing mold over time. Without their expertise I would have left the walls as is risking exponential mold growth and potential health hazards in the future. They also offered to help with my insurance claim and make sure those hidden damages would be covered. Thank you Jim!
Great people an love there work 100%
Incredible service and patience!
First they came out to look at a very isolated area for mold. And then they would not come and treat it until the president came out to take a look.He walked through the house and told me I probably had moisture all behind walls and many areas. He stated that all the molding that was remotely moving away from the walls indicated moisture. He said that they would need to have a special test done and use some fancy term where they come in and poke holes in all the walls to test for moisture. He said a moisture reader could not accurately identify moisture as there was plastic in front of the insulation. That test would cost me $3600He then grilled me on who my insurance company was and that they would have to pay for it and wanted details regarding my carrier. He then play the emotional card and told me that if I was his sister that he would highly recommend this test being done and showed me pictures of other houses where the moisture reader didn’t detect moisture and yet they found mold. He said if I did it now the insurance company would cover all of it. But if I ended up not doing the test for finding them potential mold then it would all be on me so that I needed to go ahead and do it.I stated that I just wanted to have the small area treated and I will make a decision after talking to another company. He got quite huffy and left. They then charged me more than what they had quoted to treat that small area. It took them 19 seconds to spray and they charged $350.I had another company come out and take a look and they felt confident that I had no mold in the areas he discussed. I would not recommend this company and would not trust anything they said .
Jim and is team are outstanding people. I would recommend them to everyone that needs help with water damage restoration and mold remediation in Wilmington NC.
