I can’t say enough about how happy I am with the service we received from Deanna and Zach at Servpro. They were both on time, kept in touch with me over the 5 days it took to fix my water issue and were as personable as could be. So I called again when my roof was leaking ( my HOA hadnt responded or even called back after 3 days of heavy rain)and astounded when ServePro knocked on my door 15 minutes later! I had a great experience with Trey from Servpro who came out today to inspect some sub flooring that showed evidence of mold. Trey is the kind of guy you would want working on your home: professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. As it turns out I should be able to make the repairs myself but the next time I need restoration services I know who my first car will be!

I had a small Christmas Party Saturday night with the people in my daily bubble but I wanted to be a little more cautious and spoke with Wesley Friday night. He understood my concerns and was able to come out Sunday morning to spray the high traffic areas. He was very professional and explained thoroughly the process & the chemicals he was using (that were all very safe) and answered all our questions. It didnt take long and made my husband & I feel much better after it was done. I highly recommend you call them to have your home done during this pandemic.

Heather and the SERVPRO team are top notch to work with. They did a whole house disinfectant fog for us. We wanted to make sure our family was protected in every way possible during these times and SERVPRO helped put our mind at ease. The fog is plant-based so no chemicals and it smells great and most importantly, clean. Highly recommend.

By the time a leak was discovered in my house, it had spread through out several rooms under my wood floors. A neighbor highly recommended ServPro. Trey Love came out immediately. After inspecting everything he explained to my daughter and me what and in what order everything would happen.This was a very stressful time for me as I had to move out of my house for five weeks and during this time I was diagnosed with a major health issue.Trey was always available to answer any concerns my daughter or I had. My Insurance Agency has called upon Servpro of New Hanover for many years for our customers water damage, smoke damage, mold etc. We have gotten many favorable compliments on their work. This past week we had a situation come up where our office required ServPro services. We found out just how great their services and Wes Haynes really were! I contacted Wes around 10 pm on a Thursday night and told him what our situation was. He responded to the text within minutes. He sat up the appointment for the next morning at 8 am. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience with ServPro and especially Trey Love, who headed up our project! My mom had a slow leak that caused water damage to her floors, base boards and a small area of a couple of her walls. Once the plumbers identified the source of the leak and completed their work, we called ServPro to see what needed to be done to repair the damage. ServPro had someone out immediately and held our hands through the whole process. Trey’s communication and organization was phenomenal. He stayed in touch and personally monitored the work every step of the way. He made sure our insurance adjuster had everything he needed and was quick to help when a couple of unforeseen and unrelated issues arose along the way. Everyone we encountered from ServPro’s staff was extremely professional and kind to my mom and me and we appreciate their excellent customer service. I highly recommend ServPro of New Hanover!

First, let me begin by stating that I never leave positive reviews unless they are truly deserved. This 5 star review was so well deserved. What began as a very unpleasant experience when we first became aware of water damage in need of remediation and repair, became a stress-less experience due to the professionalism of Servpro and our Servpro Rep, Tommy. As vaca home owners who do not live nearby and are not familiar with what was needed and who could we hire for remediation and buildout. Tommy handled the entire process from start to finish. To say we were just a lil anxious would be an understatement. We are so thankful and pleased with the outcome. Tommy was professional, responsive, and extremely patient as he guided us through the process, and all of this was done during a COVID 19 national pandemic emergency and all the challenges that go along with that. We were closed due to hurricane roof repairs that caused a tremendous amount of dirt and debris to fall inside of our museum. One of our volunteers said it would take magic to open back up on time. Serve-Pro actually performed this magic with Adrian and her crew making the Wilmington Railroad Museum shine! I was very unhappy with the service that Greg at Serv Pro offered. He was very rude and I ended up having to go with another company for repairs. The office staff were also very unprofessional as well. Made my experience horrible. Not only did I have to stress over the fire damage but also over having to find another company and feeling like I’m starting all over again. Then they harassed me for payment after making my experience a nightmare. I will never recommend them. I would not even have given them one star but had to in order to write this review.

We did a comparison to another local service company and hands down, SERVPRO gave us the very best cost breakdown, with results of the problems we were facing. When the work was done, and they did a very professional job, they did a thorough inspection of work and gave their guarantee of completion. We had an issue with ice forming under our shingles which caused the melted snow to back up under our shingles and flood our attic. Michael Snyder came to the rescue!He went above and beyond to help! We were fortunate that the damage was minimal but he still spent time to help us determine our best resolution.Although we hope that we don’t need to call them again, should the need arise we would call again in a heartbeat.

Hurricane Dorian was my first experience of a severe weather event as a homeowner and I called ServPro New Hanover Friday night, 9/6, to request assistance based on national reputation and reviews here. I didn’t expect a call back that night, so it was fine by me that I was contacted the next afternoon around 12:30 PM. I provided my information and described the extent of damage to my property and was told someone would be in touch with me. As a rookie to these sorts of things, I was cranky that I had not been called by mid-afternoon the next day, Sunday. When I called again, I was reminded they were operating in disaster mode and assure that someone *would* contact me to schedule an appointment. Five days later, I’m still waiting.While I recognize the unpredictability of what their teams may encounter makes scheduling difficult, it shouldn’t reduce customer service to a game of wait-and-see. I’m disappointed in this operator, especially in light of the positive experiences others seem to have had.

Wes came out to my house at the recommendation of my insurance agent to help me document water coming in as a result of Hurricanne Florence that the State Farm adjuster didnt acknowledge. Rather than just look at the roof, he entered the attic space, crawled through the insulation, found evidence of the water intrusion and took pictures. Im so appreciative of both his time and professionalism. Not only did he respond within hours of the request to set up a time, he came later that day just after his lunch and crawled around in my hot attic. Sure it was only 92 degrees outside when Im sure hed much rather be enjoying the AC somewhere but instead he was helping me. Hopefully i can do the same with this positive review. A giant round of applause for Wes Haynes and his crew of Hilary and Charles. We were faced with a broken pipe leak on our first floor and were mighty happy to see them arrive at our front door the next morning. They worked to asses areas of moisture before demolition began. As their work progressed, they kept us in the loop with each new finding. All three were here again today, working continuously to remove all remaining damaged surfaces. Not only were they thorough and conscientious, but all three were cheerful, polite and so easy to be around. About a year ago I had a riser under my kitchen sink fail and woke up to my entire kitchen and dining room being flooded. The next day I called Serv Pro and the owner himself came over to look at the property and climb under the house that afternoon. He had a crew over at my house until late that night working to mitigate the water damage and he quickly got the house dry. ServPro then handled all of the repairs and up-fit of the house and did a fantastic job. I would recommend them to anyone. Davis and his team are great.

We began working with SERVPRO of New Hanover County to have smoke remediation done after a fireplace had malfunctioned. We had a delay in service due to the hurricane that was understandable, but as the months drew on and lack of communications occurred, things became increasingly frustrating. We never received a contract past the insurance quote and it would take multiple contacts to get answers on simple questions such as “can we choose new paint colors?”. We had to reach out and contact multiple times to receive a start date and when we did receive the start date it was vague- 1 1/2 - 2 weeks, then it moved several times.The day it started we learned it wouldbe a 2 stage process where a crew came in and deep cleaned and then a second crew showed up to paint. The initial cleaning crew showed up 30 minutes late on day one and asked my wife what was supposed to be cleaned instead of showing up with the original statement of work that we had received. They completed their portion 2 days earlier than they anticipated, and the painters moved in and completed their work in the allotted time.We finally got to conduct a walk through 24 hours after completion as we did not receive any notice that the job would be completed on time until we called to ensure it would be on time. Now the walk through is where everything truly went downhill. Our real estate agent had done an initial walk through and said a gate had been damaged and there was some sort of oily substance left on the floor and the kitchen floor was sticky. My wife and I planned going to Wilmington to fix those 3 small discrepancies and ensure it would be ready for the open house. What we expected to be 2 hours of clean up turned into 4 hours of addressing what we could and multiple calls and emails to SERVPRO and receiving unsatisfactory answers.We found that the kitchen floor had not been cleaned at all, all of the stainless steel below waist level was not cleaned, 2 cabinets were not cleaned while the rest where, carpets that where supposed to have been shampooed did not appear to have been(SERVPRO swears they where, but I highly disagree), a back yard gate was torn off the hinges, gloves and a bucket where left in the backyard as well as trash in the garage, what ever was used to clean the laminate floors left an oily film, one light fixture was left hanging, another light fixture was missing 2 covers(we where informed one was broke and would be replaced but never was told when notified the job was complete it hadn’t been replaced yet, that has been corrected), the laminate floors were broke in 3 places, there was paint residue in the brand new stainless kitchen sink, one of the shower curtain bars had been removed but not put back up and was missing pieces and therefore cannot be hung anymore, and there was paint spatter in about every room where it should not be.I immediately called SERVPRO and Emailed the manager (including photos of the issues) we were working with to find some sort of remedy hopefully before the 11AM showing today. I never received a phone call like I was told but got an email saying the cleaning crew would be back in the morning. I said several times I had spent the night addressing the issues in the kitchen but need the closet carpets recleaned and the stuff on the floors through out the house addressed. The cleaner showed up this morning thinking she was only there to clean the kitchen(which we had spent the night cleaning) She did clean the laminate floors but my real estate agent said she didn’t even do as little as vacuum the closet carpets let alone shampoo.We still have not been contacted by anyone at SERVPRO this morning by phone(an expectation I have on an over 11K job that resulted in a extremely upset customer). To make this even more special last night was my birthday and as a member of the US Army I don’t get to spend many of those with my wife. Instead I drove 4 hours total and scrubbed kitchen floors that I had paid to get done on my hands and knees for 3 hours, oh and rebuilt a gate in the rain.

Called Servpro in May 2018 with a pretty serious mold issue. Servpro is suppose to be one of the most reliable companies around (I thought) HOWEVER, after 4 months and a $4000 bill the problem is back. Read the small print! No guarantees and no warranty and I cant get anyone to call me back. Do some research before hand and dont loose $4000 in the first place like I stupidly did.Repairs were handled thru the realtor that manages my property. The house is at 403 e. Cavanaugh st. WallaceMike from Servpro reached out to me and I found out he never was given my message about my mold problem being back. That was in NO way his fault! I wanted to make that clear. I had called after Florence and due to their high volume of calls an answering service some how did not convey my message.Total misunderstanding and no reflection on the work they do...THANKS MIKE!
