Joe was exceptional and professional in every sense of the word! I was not familiar with the Restoration services in Wilmington and had to rely solely on what I researched through the internet. Joe was engaging from the first conversation to our last which occurred a week ago. He walked me through every step of what needed to happen. He was able to provide all the services through Paul Davis. This would end up being a monumental project for me as I live in Virginia so most of my engagement with Joe was over the phone and through emails. Joe is skilled at not just the construction side of the project but he’s a gifted designer as well. He helped with everything, room redesigns, load-bearing vs non-load-bearing walls, paints, flooring and much more. He made every decision seem simple and achievable. I loved how organized he was with project tasks and timelines and ensuring they delivered everything on time while seeking my input.I was most impressed with his uncanny sense of humor and genuine personality. I’m currently undergoing some health related matters. Joe’s quirky sense of humor sometimes was just the prescription I needed to get me through the procedure. Tremendous experience with Paul Davis Restoration. Prompt response by the Mitigation Division to salvage our belongings and prevent further damage to our home. The estimators were prompt and then we met our project manager Bob Grantham who quickly became our guardian angel. Bob was our advocate when dealing with our insurance adjuster and always made decisions based on our best interest. Everyone associated with this project has been top notch. I cant say enough good things about my experience with Paul Davis Restoration after experiencing a flood in my home. Less than an hour after my initial call, I had a team in my home to assess the damage, get the water damage under contraol, and help us get back to normal quickly. Bob Grantham was pehnomenal in helping us with dealing with the insurance company and mortgage company, and oversaw all repairs--making a very difficult task much easier. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using this company if you EVER have a loss of any kind. They are fantastic!

WOW. Paul Davis Restoration company exceeded my expectations tremendously! I had a water damage claim, which required new sheetrock, stud repair, painting, and replacing flooring in the living room/kitchen area. From start to finish they took less than two weeks!! I was blown away by not only the speed of their work, but the quality. My project manager, Joe Nale, was incredibly responsive, easy to work with, and always willing/happy to answer any questions I had along the way. If I ever have any issue with my home ever again, you better believe I am calling Paul Davis!

I had a great experience with this company after a water leak damaged my house. They responded immediately and started the work. The project manager (Joe) was very friendly, helpful, and quick to respond whenever I had questions (I highly recommend him!). From tearing out the water-damaged floor to repairing the floor and walls, they did an amazing job. Every person I encountered from this company was friendly and did quality work. I’d use them again (but hope I don’t need to!) and have already recommended them to a friend.

Everyone who entered our home during a water damage restoration was helpful and professional. I always got prompt answers to my questions, was given good advice when selecting replacement flooring and always felt safe and confident that the job would be done well. Bob G. was especially helpful with planning the project, communication and navigating the insurance claim process.

WE HAD A FIREPLACE MALFUNCTION, our insurance company sent over one adjuster...2 weeks and no report. Then They told us Paul Davis would come and check out the damage, so they sent in a first adjuster who comes into our home, spends about three hours in our home. His name was Nolan, he took us from place to place in our home and used his so called smoke sponge. He showed how the soot ran thru our whole first floor....Fast forward 10 days, insurance says they have no report from Paul Davis? I could go on about the Insurance Co, however really if you all knew who, then you would know.Back to Paul Davis, Now they have a man Mike call and said, finally they were going to send someone else into access our situation. I asked where is our report from Nolan, The response from Paul davis was NOLAN just up and left us, and took your report with him.. And know it only gets worse and worse, NOW, with this man Mike. He not only was nasty but very intimidating to me, the wife. After I questioned our ins co why so many items were not on the estimate from Mike,, in other words half of our damage would not be taken care of. so after talking to the insurance co concerning left out items, Mike from Paul Davis decides to call me, the wifed, he does have my husbands phone number but, instead, calls me. Now during this phone call he proceeds to tell me my husband said to leave off all the items which he left off. My husband says this is an untruth and now refuses to speak at all to Paul Davis without someone there as proff.I know it is a long story, but here is the best. This man Mike adjuster from Paul Davis, says to me look here, you have no soot in your home, we are just doing this as a courtesy?????????? Oh yeah courtesy, minimal 1st estimate to insurance from Mike was 18k and change, with telling insurance 2 or more estimates would be sent over. Wow imagine if he said we really had soot. There is more absurd things this man said to me, i am not going to go over them all. However if they are sent to your home, i am willing to tell you the whole story about this company.Next though I do need to tell you about excellence, Mike brought in a woman named Brandy, sher couldnt be more honest and sincere in our given situation. Mike from Paul Davis made sure this project went south, leaving us out of a timely mitigation, as well left Brandy in the wind. Brandy is a person who, I immensely could tell was a person who stood behind her word.Paul Davis should never hold this against Brandy, but should with Mike. Due to Mikes inability to contain his anger, which if he cannot, he should be attending anger management classes if he wishes to stay in business. I must though again reiterate he not only upset our situation us but he also did the same to Brandy, who again has deep morals and loyalty.Please think twice before using this company. You are entitled to get another estimate, an honest and fair one, Remember this is your home, but again if Brandy shows up, please know you will be in great honest hands. I have all emails and phone recordings for this situation.

Ensuring no future mold or mildew problems was in the forefront as the PD crew set up fans and dehumidifiers to dry out our powder room and other areas affected by burst supply valve. Bob G. followed up the PD mitigation crew with an extremely thorough review and examination of damage. He promptly submitted his findings to our insurance adjuster and we were paid for our loss within days!Highly recommend Paul Davis Restoration services.

Paul Davis came into our office space after we had a hot water heater to go and basically remodeled the whole office. Mike and all the guys was easy to communicate and work with. I have worked with Paul Davis on many occasions. They have been great everytime. It all started with my dishwasher leaking and redoing my floors. I went with an LVP floor and brought them back to continue the floors into my living room and hallway. I have many more jobs for them to work in the future. I trust them fully to get the job done. I tell them what I am looking for and they come back with exactly that.

Ive had two experiences with Paul Davis in the past. They responded very fast. They are professional and knowledgeable.Two other national companies gave me prices from 20,000 to 40,000 and said it could be higher once they got into the job.The two Representatives from Paul Davis explained what had happened and that I could do the job myself in 15 minutes. They told me exactly what to do, how to do it safely and how to prevent this from happening again.

Very, very dissatisfied with their work even though they were recommended by USAA . They did not properly diagnose our leak and then failed to take responsibility for redoing the work to correct what they failed to do. I would not recommend them and plan to ask USAA to take off their recommended list

These guys were excellent! I had water damage from a leaking tub and they came over the day after I contacted them to repair the floor. Courteous, professional and on timely. 100% recommended.

I called Paul Davis Restoration for a not-so-big damp insulation and perhaps mold issue under a rental house thinking it would be a couple of days before they could get to the job. I was out of town so I could not access the situation myself. Within a short couple of hours, I received a call from Scott and he had already been under the house. Not only was I relieved that there was not a mold problem, but over the phone, Scott was super informative and explained what he was seeing under the house and even gave suggestions that made sense and wouldnt break the bank. On anothers recommendation, I called Paul Davis about a meth contamination problem. The next day a representative came out (Brandi) who was exceptionally pleasant, patient, thorough, and honest in helping me assess how to deal with my situation. There are no words to say how much I appreciate her compassion and knowledge. 5 stars on my experience. I have not taken advantage yet of their services. I will need to write another review for that. My expectations are for nothing but the best. This is a company that will deal with you honestly and not just try to take your money.

When we had extensive water damage due to a burst pipe, our insurance company recommended that we use Paul Davis Restoration because of that companys certified expertise, long experience dealing with such problems, and history of excellent results. We could not be more pleased with the quality of service Mark Tarr has provided. Our house is on an island accessible only by ferry, which made the working conditions significantly more difficult--especially because nearly all our possessions needed to be packed and moved out before the necessary demolition and drying could be performed. Nonetheless, Mark accomplished the water mitigation work in a wholly professional and skillful manner--bringing over heavy equipment and even renting a house on the island so the job could be done in a timely and convenient way; utilizing his network of connections to professionally clean and store our possessions; and willingly meeting several times with our insurance agent and contractor. Throughout, he was amazingly responsive and sensitive to our needs for information, guidance, and reassurance, and cheerfully took care of everything we were unable or didnt want to do, while allowing us to control the things we could. The house is currently being rebuilt, and our contractor has only praise for the work Mark did--in fact, he told us that Mark was better than the other water mitigation specialists hed used and he was going to recommend him to any other clients with water damage. I really believe Mark made a potentially horrible experience for us bearable. Use him--you wont be sorry!

As a renovation contractor myself in Virginia, it was difficult to let go when we suffered a flood at our Beach House in North Carolina. But we knew we could not manage a full scale renovation from Virginia. Paul Davis went over and above to make sure that we were satisfied with everything. They responded immediately and worked with our insurance company every step of the way, even when the insurance company changed from our homeowners insurance to the Condo policy. They did the complete job, from initial water damage clean up, to mold remediation, drywall, tile, carpet, hardwood floor, new kitchen, backsplash, paint, lighting etc. Marks Kitchen design was everything I asked for and more! The people that is rating so high about P. D. Restoration, must have hired the company, 9-15 years ago. I have pictures of the jobs he has/is working on. His so call---sub contractors has done more damage to the house, than Florence the hurricane did. Personal property has been broken while moving things around to get the job done.😘😘😘
