Did an excellent job on the replacement of our entire AC units. I’m a very pleased with the work and how great my AC is working. The installers were great and very work oriented, they new there job and got it done right the first time. They only thing negative to say was that they forgot to plug the condenser back in to the socket and left it on top of the plug in. But that is the only negative thing that I could even say about ARS. If I was you and was on the fence about choosing an AC Company, I hope this review will tip you the right way. Cause the service I received was outstanding and I will not be going to any other company than ARS for my AC questions or repairs. Great job to all the on the job sight workers!! Had an emergency on a saturday, ARS indicated no technicians were available but then called me back later when a slot opened up. Tech arrived early, and i opted to replace my old hvac unit. Sales person arrived sunday, new system installed tuesday. Everything about the process was very easy and all ARS staff were beyond professional. Same day financing was easy as well.
Our hvac went out 2 weeks ago. We were hoping it was nothing major but you know how that goes. Lee showed up and inspected the unit which was 15 years old and it was determined it needed replaced. Chris came about an hour later and checked things out as far as what we needed. We were able to have the new unit installed the very next day. The installers came at 9am and had the new unit up and running by around 4pm. When I got home from work I wouldve never known anyone was here. Everything was cleaned up. They even showed my wife how to use the new nest thermostat. Thanks ARS for taking care of us so quickly!

Service techs are always the best. The company itself has awful customer service & sold me a unit that has needed multiple service calls in yr 3 of ownership. They only warranty labor for 2 yrs.
Nothing but a positive experience! Kevin Skipper was a huge help. We had a diagnostic appointment the same day we called to inquire. Kevin was informative in explaining all of our options and helped us make a decision that was right for us. He answered our questions whenever we needed regardless of time of day and was respectful when we told him we needed time to make a decision. The inspection technician that came out, Eli, was so kind, honest and professional. We have a 13 year old heat pump that he could have suggested extensive repairs on but he didn’t think that would be in our best interest and we appreciate that. They scheduled to have someone come out and give us a quote same day for replacement. So far, I’ve been very impressed by their promptness, professionalism and conducting business in the right way.

When I answered my front door, Steve introduced himself and took all of the necessary COVID precautions prior to entering my home. His system knowledge, complete system diagnostic skills, timely problem solving highlighted his confidence with managing my HVAC service request. Steve came prepared and immediately went to work. At the satisfactory conclusion of his maintenance, Steve explained the complete list of work performed, provided customer DIY maintenance, and properly answered all of my questions in a succinct manner. Steve is the only HVAC technician I want servicing my system. I have complete trust in his HVAC skills an knowledge.

There isnt enough words to describe this company. Kevin and the installation crew were very professional, courteous and informative. Going to give this 5 stars for the somebody coming out on Sunday when our A/C stopped working. The repairman showed me what the code was and ordered a Motor plus the blades due to the fact the the blades tend to weld themselves on and most likely will need to be replaced. We called on Monday to see if the motor and blades were ordered and they were and were told they should be in by Thursday. Now the 5 Stars go down to a 1 in my opinion. Here is why! On Thursday my wife and I tried to call a few times. A few times it went to an answer machine, a few times we actually talked to the lady. I asked the lady if the parts had arrived and she said she would call back within minutes to let us know? Well a half hour later I called back and again it went to voice mail. My wife had the same thing happen, and was told she would call back and never did. Finally we were told that the blades came in but the meter would be another 4 or 5 business days. So the next Thursday I called with the same run around. Answer machine and then told she would call me back but never did. Finally getting through she told me the parts were in and had scheduled the install for Friday morning and if that would work for me. No way, first of all no on called to tell us the parts were in and then to make an appointment assuming I can just take off work. Told her to make the appointment for Friday afternoon. She did. That Friday my wife receives a call from the repairman stating that the parts were in and if he could come an install them. My wife told him that we told the service department lady that Friday afternoon would work and she scheduled it. This is not the only time we had problems with the service department lady. The service is great and the repairmen are awesome but getting through to the service department, waiting for her to call back when she stated she would and then doesnt. It just doesnt seem that she is all the efficient in her job. Please work through this problem and go with ARS because I believe they do a great job.
Just wanted to say that Travis from ARS came out today, so helpful and informative, he is a true star. A great asset to the company, being British we don’t understand a great deal about the AC system so when it goes wrong it helps to have someone you can trust, that was Travis and ARS. Thank you
Our HVAC stopped one Sunday and we called ARS. They gave us the first available time. Our service guy was early, diagnosed quickly and fixed the problem and was out of here so I could get to work.

Highly recommend!! Our AC went out and 45 minutes later someone was out here to fix it, may I remind you it was 9pm and he had it up and running in less than 30 minutes. The technician did tell us that our AC unit was old and would be worth replacing, he answered all of our questions and was able to have someone in sales come out the next day. We had the pleasure of working with Kevin which he made the decision of getting a new AC unit easier. He was very polite and professional. He was also very honest, Going over the finance part was very time consuming (on my end) and he was extremely patient in helping me decide which unit was best for my family and budget. So that was much appreciated. We got the unit installed yesterday and couldn’t be happier. Also thank you to all the guys who came out yesterday and replaced the unit you guys worked extremely hard and efficiently.

Although I ultimately ended up going with a different company, Spencer with ARS was fantastic. He was on-time, thoroughly inspected my AC unit and took the time to fully explain everything to me. After he configured the quote he went over the companies guarantees in detail and made sure I was well informed on the decision. Unlike most “salesmen” he wasn’t pushy at all!
Signed up for a heating unit inspection at Home Depot. I was a little skeptical at first but the service tech Lee from ARS was excellent. He answered all my questions about our system, and what we could do as homeowners to clean and maintain system. Asked about future repairs and he informed us of what we could expect and our options. Will definitely be using ARS for our future needs.

Have nothing but awesome things to say about them. Called on a Sunday morning and they were at the house by 11 am, on a SUNDAY. We worked with Lee first. He was easily the most experienced technician I have ever worked with and properly explained what 3 other HVAC visits previously had failed to diagnose. Literally, I was so impressed with his knowledge.Second visit was from Danny, who correctly measured the new unit we would need and explained the pros and cons of each unit to us in a way we could understand. He did not push any certain unit on us and tried to help us make the best decision for our family.Third visit was installation. The men were very kind and used safety measures that made us feel comfortable during covid. Install was on a slab and the unit looks great!Price for the unit was a little high but way way way worth it in the expertise gained and the professionalism of the staff.Prayed for resolution and prayers were answered in the best way. I would use these guys again tomorrow (but hope I dont need to.)

Wish I could leave no star! This is second time we have had a bad experience with this company. First time while waiting in line at Home Depot I was asked if my AC needed serviced I said it did and signed up for a tune-up. The day came and no one showed up, when I called I decided to forget about it since not showing up first time is not a very good impression. Yesterday this same salesperson calls my wife, together we talk to this person to come in and do the service. They gave us a 11-2 pm window. After 2 came I called to see where they were at. They put me on hold for a while and then came on and said, We dont have you on the schedule. I responded then who was my wife and I talking to yesterday? She said, I dont know but I can have someone come out tomorrow. I replied, why would I want you to come to my house and work on my unit if you cant follow a scheduled appointment. She hung up on me. WOW!From here I am going to call Home Depot to complain because that reflects very poorly on Home Depot. If they are going to allow a company in their store that gives this kind of poor service, it makes me not want to use any of Home Depots services.

Thermostat issues primarily not understanding the programing of new system. Tehnician Michael patiently took his time and explained how the thermostat works as well as system now have a better understanding of thermostat as sytem works good and efficient.
Installation team did a great job of removing previous system and installing new system. Team was done in about 5 hours. They cleaned up everything and explained how new thermostat worked. Excellent job!!!

Sent a guy out said I had a refrigeration leak and needed a new unit and left hired another Company and the went to my unit with a shop vac within 5 mins my air was working again said this is common they say it’s broke so you spend $$$ on new things glad I called another company don’t call these people complete joke! There is a huge gap in customer service between the office staff and technicians. The technician, Jon, who serviced my heat pump was great. He went above and beyond to ensure the work was done right and answered all the questions I had. The office staff however was severely lacking. It took 5 phone calls to finally reach someone in their service department regarding a part order. All in all the job from start to finish took approximately one month for and expansion valve unit and a board replacement. Would not recommend until customer service relations improve.
Tyler was the representative that came out to give me an estimate for a new heating and AC system. He was very mannerly and professional. He answered all of my questions. He was knowledgeable about the systems and what it would take to effectively cool and heat my home. He is truly an asset to the company.

Today is the second time in a month I set an appointment to have my seasonal service done. No show....AGAIN! No communication, no customer service, items screwed up during their visits. McKenzie is the best one I have had. I would never suggest this company to anyone. Called and cancelled my service plan due to all of this. How can you provide me excellent customer service?, how about show the f up. Call if youre going to be late. Have knowledgeable staff. Stop brushing everyone off.

ARS Wilmington has been a pleasant company to work with. The salesman wasnt pushy offering us discounts plenty. The installation crew was clean quite and thorough. House was a little dusty. But they did remove all my old duct work and cut new holes in my ceilings for new registers. All in all it was kept as clean as possible for the amount of work they had to complete. Was with any new system adjustments will need to be made. The service tech was polite and very knowledgeable. We needed our first service or rather adjustment when it was over 100 outside. The company at that time was swamped will service as all good ac companies are and he was late getting here. So you know what? ARS kept their promise and we recieved a 500 dollar check. He was only a few minutes late but they still paid. I spent over 30 years in the residential construction business and will strongly recommend Ars.
Very rare very rare to call a person on Sunday morning at 5 o’clock and have them show up at 9:30 and fix my problem I’m very happy Mike was a very courteous kind technician very helpful help explain the problem because my unit was fairly new but he helped me to understand what was wrong he fixed it and it’s a week today God bless is well less than a week And we are so happy thanks again give Mike a Raise

Staff are very nice and generally do a good job. The call center is a bit aggravating since they are not local and sometimes have trouble transferring. Overall, I like the company enough to overlook that frustration.

Great crew! Very curious and on time. Once they took a look at the job they started right away. They took the time to protect the floors and anything around the area they were working. I have two units in my house and this one happened to be in the attic. Once they were finished they showed me how the system worked. I’m very happy with everything. I will be replacing my other unit and when I do ARS will be the company I call.

To the sales person, Spenser, who came out to explain the system and the high quality of work ARS will perform. Customer Services really needs improving there were no ETA for the part ordered. Also there were no follow up phone call regarding the status, we were expecting ARS today no show or call for an appointment made last week. AND IT WAS 5:30 P.M SO I CALLED AND THE PERSON WHO ANSWER SAID, OH THEY ARE BEHIND BUT THEY WILL BE THERE TODAY. SO WHEN JOSEPH THE TECH GOT THERE HE WAS SO NICE AND TRULY CONCERN ABOUT MY A/C UNIT, I WAS AT EASE. HE WAS EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND WAS VERY PLEASANT. ITS GOOD TO KNOW THAT ARS HAVE COMPASSIONATE EMPLOYEES. THANKS FOR A GOOD EXPERIENCE, DOING A VERY HOT SITUATION.

Replaced HVAC system. From start to finish it was a positive experience. The install crew Paulie,David,Jess were professional,polite and competent. We had a follow up call with Antonio and he made some adjustments. Very nice and explained what he was adjusting. We found out the next day that the thermostat was on a preset program which we didnt want. Chris came and turned off the preset. The system is working great. The crews cleaned up and when needed wore booties. Thanks to all. ARS is worth every penny. 🤩
Kris came out to my house. It was very short notice, he called ahead of time, answered all my questions, and showed up right when he said he would. I purchased a service plan with them last year and I have been very disappointed with their service. I am still waiting for a repair that was diagnosed in November. Their main issue seems to be a complete lack of communication in their service department. The technicians that have come out have all been knowledgeable and friendly, but it has now been 6 months and the same unit is having the same issue. I asked today (when I had to call them and follow up again) when my service plan expires only to be told that it already did... 5 months ago. The lack of timely communication is definitely in line with my experience with them thus far. I will be taking my business elsewhere for sure.

We called last night for an emergency service. Was told the tech would call on the way. They never called or showed up and when we called back this morning the lady was less than concerned on the issue or our frustration.
I will cancel this seasonal service contract. My air condition was doing splendid until this service person came. We had it set at 75 and when this service person left by the evening my home was hot at 80 degrees even though the temperature was set at 75. I dont know what this person did but I will be calling their service department in the morning. This is a new air condition system only 3 years old and I dont like the fact that they try to sale me an air filter cleaner every time they come to service my system.
