Andre is a professional and courteous Technician with a positive outlook.Andre had installed the furnace and central air at the beginning of summer, but we wanted to decide if we wanted to use the older Humidifier or go with a new one. We Decided to get a new Humidifier.Andre was on time and went right to work. He installed the Humidifier and the control unit. He also walked me thru the settings and changing the humidifier pad. also suggested removing the pad during summer (which I never thought about).All-in-all, It was a very positive experience.

Awesome company! They came and diagnosed my issue on the same day that I called. I ended up getting a replacement on my Furnace & Air Conditioning Units with them. Had one hour come take a look at what even i knew was at most a defective furnace flue, only to have their representive tell me that i needed an enire new furnace and replace my entire flue to the tune of $6k. I obviously decided to get a second opinion from Wertz, who immediately fixed my flue for 350. No replacement of anything needed.

Rich was a total lifesaver - he properly diagnosed our broken compressor when the A/C went out during a 95 degree day. When the part didn’t arrive on schedule due to shipping issues, Rich came out with a portable A/C unit to keep us comfortable until the part arrived. Then once it got here, he came back out on another 95 degree day and expertly got us up and running again. Service always with a smile and a thorough explanation, even through the scorching heat. Highly recommend requesting him by name.

We will never use this company again, and I suggest that if you have grandparents in need of services, you make sure you get multiple quotes from multiple different companies before making a big purchase. It doesnt matter if your AC is in good condition, if its 10 years or older this company will say that its time to replace it and will misdiagnose the problem. Thats what happened to my grandparents. Had a tech come out to try and fix my grandparents AC. These elderly people had already been without AC during the recent heat wave. Calvert/One Hour, told them that it was the compressor that went and that they may as well get a whole new unit for $5k. This technician did not care if my grandparents even died from heat related problems, just cared about taking advantage of them and their conditions. I had someone else come out, a real professional with a heart. He diagnosed the machine properly, it was the fan motor and not the compressor at all. He rigged the AC with a box fan to get us through the day/night and then got a universal fan motor the very next morning. Came and had it all fixed the very next day before the box fan rigging even had a chance to give out. Went above and beyond for just $672 and now my grandparents dont have to suffer without air.One Hour, instead of just caring about filling your pockets, why dont you try caring about people instead?

Joe was extremely fast and the work was done professionally with a reasonable price tag. Our AC unit went down on one of the hottest days of the year and Joe was able to have our home feeling cool again before the next hottest day of the year. Joe was also able to educate me on how to properly maintain my AC in the future. I will certainly be calling one hour if I should ever have any issues with my HVAC unit in the future and will be requesting Joe.

This was a routine annual maintenance call for the heating and A/C systems. The repairman arrived at the scheduled time. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The systems were in good working order, so no repairs were necessary. I was quite satisfied with the call.

My A/C broke on the hottest day of the year (of course). I was put on the wait last for the day of the call and assured a spot for the next day. Craig called around 1 and said he’d arrive in about 20 minutes (actually took less than 10). He was very courteous and professional, followed all the recommended health and safety protocols upon entering my house. Got right to work, diagnosed the problem and fixed same in less than 20 minutes. Gave me some things to do in the future, that will keep it running longer with fewer service calls. Craig was a GREAT guy and truly a pleasure to deal with.

My experience was great. Matt was very prompt, professional and pleasant. He took his time to check everything out and explained the issue. While he said I may still need to recharge the system he advised waiting to see after a few days if the system was cooling it off enough. The inside temp was 80 and just 45 minutes later it is down to 73! Would definitely use them again!!

The guys did a great job. They arrived on time, were very friendly and respectful. The were very purposed and efficient. They were done early and all is still cool.Buying a new air conditioner is expensive and no matter the model proper installation is essential. Being new to Delaware i was so nervous and afraid it wouldnt go well, I didnt pick the right company and/or theyd damage the installation area. I have my moms rose bush right there and she passed. Meeting them immediately dispelled my concerns. The installation went great. They cleaned up and its been cool ever since.! Thank you so much.

Our a/c stopped working on Friday night and the repair was completed by 1pm on Sunday. Technician explained the cause and the repair and gave tips for avoiding the issue in the future. Polite and professional and wore booties to keep our flooring clean and a face covering. Customer service answers on one ring, even on weekends/evenings.

Rich was informative and knowledgeable and helped me understand how my units were working and what to do to troubleshoot similar situations should they arise in the future. Stayed longer even to ensure that units were working correctly. Would recommend and use them again for sure.

I contacted this company via their online request form. I immediately got a response back and set up an appointment for noon today. However, no one actually showed up for the appointment. I emailed to ask where the tech was, and they said he was coming. About an hour later, still nothing! This is not the way to do business.

Quick response and very friendly. Helped solve a very hard to find problem. I will complain about the lack of transparency with pricing. It was $79 service charge, then a $79 diagnostic fee. On the phone they only mentioned the service fee. I asked the tech how would someone avoid the diagnostic fee and he said he would have to almost nothing when he got there. I would appreciate if they said it was $158 to service the system. It would not have changed my opinion on using them. It was money well spent.

Rich and his coworker came to examine the water leak and crack in the heat exchanger, which was earlier detected by the home inspector. I was there to see him open the heating system and inspect it. He correctly pointed out that the heat exchanger needed to be replaced. Unfortunately it was a major job but he tried to minimize the cost by utilizing the lifetime warranty on the unit. In the process he damaged the computer board. He quickly got not only the new replacement board but also a new igniter because the old one was not compatible with the new board. He did not charge for the parts. In the end I happened to have an almost brand new system. He was courteous, honest, trustful and very professional which were the kind of qualities uncommon in the business. I felt so fortunate that I chose One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning Company.

Joe, the Technician was fine. Even suggested a leak sealant that had not been offered by prior vendors ($161). Leaving me sitting by a phone all day because they could not give an approximate time of arrival was NOT OK. If you did not call back when the technician called, they would cancel according to the receptionist. Very poor planning on companys part. Was advertised as FREE estimate. This is not true either. According to the receptionist, only applies to new installations. Get FREE estimate off the advertisements.

I have a maintenance agreement with the company and they called to remind me of my free annual checkup, which I found very professional. The technician, Trevor, showed up right on time and was very personable. He wore booties to protect my floors and spent over an hour checking my furnaces. He even put in my filter for me! He checked the AC units and let me know a part was going bad. I felt no pressure to to fix it, but decided to do so. He had the part, installed it in no time and showed me the bad part and how he checked it. I have been very impressed with this company. I feel they are very honest and professional and will continue to use them and recommend them to others.

It was a great experience. My heater broke on the coldest day imagine that. I reached out to One Hour Heating on a Wednesday morning. They had a sales rep out to me the same day. Very knowledgeable professionals explained the the systems and process. We decided upon a unit and they were able to have it installed Friday morning for us. Couldnt ask for better timing. This was a completely satisfactory experience. There was no wait on the phone. The woman who answered was pleasant and helpful. Its a July day in the 90s and my AC quit. She had a full schedule for today, so she put me on standby for today, and guaranteed for tomorrow. About an hour later, I got a call that Hai was on his way. He spotted the problem quickly, fixed it, checked my pressures and for any other issues. He was outta here in 30 minutes. The cost was $79, which I was told in advance was there minimum fee. Hai said he had 10 yrs with the company, experience that showed. He also explained exactly what happened and how I could address it if it recurred, but he thought the change he made would make that unlikely. All in all, Hai and One Hour did everything right.

They performed the annual A/C maintenance and because Richie was familiar working with our system having been here before he quickly ensured that the system was properly reset and we have cold air again for another summer season. It is good to have experienced people with this company.

The tech, Hai, was incredibly rude. Our warranty company asked him for a verbal diagnosis and he got very angry telling us he doesn’t deal with them. When she asked his name and location, he got so rude with her that she asked to speak with me and said they usually ask the techs more questions but she could tell he was mad. So we’re left trying to answer questions about an a/c unit and we are not trained professionals. He was very argumentative with my husband the entire time. I will never use this company and would give zero stars if possible.
