Great customer service, so polite and respectful and grateful for the business. Fixed my problem right away as well as filled my fluid and tires before sending me on my way. They were gloves and masks and you stay in your car.

Its great that they have these policies to help keep people safe from covid, but these oil attendants didnt properly wear their masks over their noses. The biggest way covid is spread is through droplets from breathing which just happens to include the mouth AND THE NOSE. Mask up properly. Please.

Twice they have forgotten to reset the sensor in my car that alerts me I need an oil change. Once is a minor inconvenience; twice earns them a two star review. For as much as I paid for the oil change, I would appreciate a little attention to detail.Other complaints include unnecessary upselling. I was encouraged to replace my two week old windshield wipers. I found that insulting.

They dont try to upsale you, and will let you know what is truly recommanded for the mileage of your vehicle. Always trust the employees and always have great service when going here.

The service person tried to rip me off. He inspected my rear wiper blade, came to the window and told me that it was ripped and laying flat and needed to be replaced. I was skeptical since the blades were pretty new. I got out of the car and looked at the blade. The blade was not ripped and it was not laying flat. it was in perfect condition.

I will say that I had the best experience today with a oil change...they not only changed my and rotated my tires, but they fixed a part that was hanging under my bumper. THANK Josh fortaking the initiative to hang that back up for me!Everyone was wonderful and will be returning!!

Yeah definitely don’t take your business here. I went in for a simple oil change for my Volkswagen Jetta and to get some bulbs replaced. Once the oil change was “complete”, they had me turn my car back on and the engine under the hood immediately began rocking back and forth uncontrollably. This was causing my entire vehicle to rock back and forth, mind you I’m still parked in their garage. I asked them what the issue was and several workers responded “we have no idea”. I was then informed by the store manager, Tarrin, to bring my vehicle to a full body service auto shop because the issue is unrelated to the oil change. Instead I brought my car to North Oaks Auto Service the very next morning located in the parking lot of the Holiday across the street. They ran a diagnostics and found that the oil cap had not been placed back on and it created a “vacuum” causing the significant shaking. I brought this information to the store manager, Tarrin, expecting to be reimbursed for the issue they created. Instead they’ve stonewalled me saying that they did nothing wrong and that the oil cap was on when I left but this just simply isn’t true. They also won’t release a copy to me of the footage taken during the oil change done on my own vehicle. Once I’ve contacted Customer Care, they just keep saying they will pass along the info to the store manager. Basically they forced me to take my car elsewhere to fix a problem they created and have taken 0 responsibility. These people will try any chance they get to pull one over on you. Don’t go here.Update:Yes, this store has finally approved sending me a refund for at least the oil change. That is appreciated but it took a week and a half ofgoing round and round in circles with the store manager to get this refund. I contacted Customer Care multiple times and only when I threatened to involve the Better Business Burea and asking to be put into contact with the store owner did I actually get anywhere. Do yourself a favor and just go across the street to North Oaks Auto Service. They are reliable, Valvoline is not.

I tried to call the store in Vadnais Heights,MN to ensure they had headlight bulbs for my car. Called not once, but twice — was sent to hold and no one ever answered either time. How can they do a 15-minute oil change when they can’t answer the phone in 15 minutes?

Someone previously posted this place runs like a well-oiled machine and that is the best way to describe them. Had never been there before, but decided to give them a try when my F150 needed an oil change. The oil change was completed in less than 12 minutes. My car also needed an oil change so drove home, got the car, and drove back. Once again the oil change was completed in less than 12 minutes.The technicians were very polite, knowledgeable, and definitely worked with a purpose to accomplish the task. There was absolutely no wasted time. I definitely recommend them and will be taking my vehicles back to them in the future.

My review probably seems silly because I didn’t get my oil changed here at all. I was actually riding by on my bicycle when I realized my tires were extremely low. I thought Valvoline must have an air compressor, they might be kind enough to let me borrow it. When I rode up to the bay doors, about 6 or 7 gentlemen working gave me their full attention and asked how they could help. They were hilarious. They all began fighting over my bike and who was gonna fill up the tires. They were wiping it down with a rag and giving it a 100 point inspection. All of these dudes had a servants heart, it was easy to tell. They should be the face of Valvoline everywhere. When I asked if I could tip them they thanked me profusely, but politely declined. A few fist bumps and Minnesota goodbyes later and I was on my way. Thanks Valvoline.

Good oil change, but 3 out of 4 people working there that interacted with me didnt have their masks covering their nose. This level of non-compliance with basic safety rules indicates a systemic problem.

Seemed like everyone was new. Took 30 minutes. Said the oil plug was stripped. Had me rev the engine continuously to make sure the plug stayed? Didnt add right on the oil change sticker and didnt put the tires to where I asked. Overall was a hot mess. Dont recommend.

Its really refreshing to go somewhere and see that the employees both seem to like their job and like working with each other. It makes for a good customer experience, and thats what I got today getting my AC recharged. Ill definitely be back for the next oil change.

Very friendly and helpful staff at this location. They do have high prices for oil, but I trust they are doing the job right and I like that they do a multi point inspection for my peace of mind.

First time Ive ever been there was today. I received a fast, Efficient, oil change. The staff was very friendly and they all worked as a team really well to get me out of there as quick as possible. Will definitely go back for more oil changes in the future.

I have come here for a number of years. Friendly, fast, helpful, will answer questions, decent price, very convenient. I have seen changing employees and even changing managers/shift leaders over time, and the service has been consistently good and friendly, which is great. If you have a question to ask, be sure to bring it up, because they dont have the time or the need to consistently ask you every detail about your car, and they might not get to it.

I had an Explorer loaded with a baby, a toddler, and two children ready to start a weekend getaway when we noticed the tire went flat. I was going to drive to Tires Plus when I spotted Valvoline and pulled in. I was greeted by happy friendly young men that said I shouldnt drive on it. I would wreck the rim and any chance of fixing the tire. They said they change it for me. I unloaded the packed full car, all of the kids and was about to sit in the grass. They told me to go into their waiting room because there was an air conditioner. They put the spare on quickly and then helped me load the car up again. They were my guardian angels today!! I know where I will be going for my next oil change. They saved the day!!

Very quick service. Probably took 10 minutes, as if you went to a car dealership, it would take about over an hour. Only downside is that the oil costed twice as more than the one at my car dealership.

My battery was dead. They got me in fairly quickly and took care of my car thoroughly.

My oil filter never got changed. One phone call later I I asked why my filter didnt get changed. I was told it was a bad employee... okay understandable I have managed bad employees before. Then I asked if that employee still works at the store. Person on the phone told me He was given a punishment but not fired. ( I was given a free oil change and will use it just at a different valvoline)Just another place to rip you off. How can I trust this valvoline.They lost my business
