My car needed to have some work on a wheel bearing and brakes. I drive a Smart car but they said they could do it after I called other places who said they wouldnt. Work was excellent and Im back on the road in full working order.They also have a loaner car if you need to still be mobile while yours is being serviced.All around excellent people to talk to and explain what their safety inspection finds. Nothing like some of those less reputable companies. Ill be using them as my main place for all future mechanical issues.Thanks for being so good and getting my car back to driving properly.

TERRIBLE If you want to get almost get physically hurt or taken advantage of. AM PM AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR is your go to place. Their mechanic Bryan almost physically touched me. As he got in my face and almost wanted to push me. As I went to close my car hood. All on their camera, all this because I was asking questions to there $3900 dollar estimate. Their own words this can probably fix the problem to start off. Like what they never gave me a legit diagnosis kicked me out. Which I had brought my car in for a simple Check Engine Light Diagnosis. I never saw paper work and I also got kicked off their lot. Because I asked questions and according to them I refused to pay. Which was why I was asking questions, they couldnt expect me to go by thier word right? I pulled out my phone and started recording. There was no need but once he got in my face and refused to give me paperwork.I realized they were caught and their only way out was to kick me out and threatened to call the police. Which I did, because I wanted my paperwork to see what was diagnosed. They kicked me off refusing to give me paperwork after the work was done NOT before. They erase my review because they dont not want to get exposed. I had the WORST experience, and like always the Cops took their side. Because they are a White establishment. And I am a Latino we see it all the time. Is this how you treat customers, and show your imagine. Does Bryan your mechanic represent your shop like this? By almost physically hurting a customer. Anyone who sees this they are going to ERASE this review. I will continue to post. Because they need to be exposed. We dont come to these White Establishments to get treated different or to be racially profiled. To any one reading this choose another place! WORST PLACE TO GO TO.

Our tire came off our axel, the guy got me in right away, saved the tire and did preventative. Low cost and friendly. Id recommend this guy any day.

My car needed cooling system repair and maintenance, transmission service, brake and power steering flush and some other things. I knew it had a leak for some time, and then the pandemic hit. They explained in detail what needed to be done and why. It was my first visit to them and I will definitely be using them for all future needs.

CARS GET BROKEN INTO ALL THE TIME HERE. The staff a the most bias and hateful persons I have met as mechanics. They lie about their work cant provide paper work. If they feel exposed to someone that knows about cars and the work being done.Can not guarantee 100% Customer Service provided. And I can not imagine all the people they screw over.

Brought my Lincoln in for brakes and diagnostic on noisy suspension. Ive had it looked at before at another repair shop and they replaced both front struts. Didnt solve the problem. AM/PM did an initial diagnosis and thought they found the problem. Recommended replacing some parts. Didnt solve the problem. But heres the difference with AM/PM: They continued to investigate, found a solution, and only charged me for additional parts NOT ADDITIONAL LABOR! No dealership or repair shop has EVER backed-up their work that way for me! Thanks, AM/PM!! Ill be back, for sure!

The entire crew at AMPM is phenomenal. I use them for major repairs on my personal vehicles and we also use them for our medium duty work vehicles. Today on short notice they were even able to squeeze in a DOT inspection, fix the vehicle and get us out on short notice. I recommend them highly.

I dont know where to start but all I can is that they tried so hard to RIP off me. I took my trucks here to get alignment and they told me that my both inner tie rods and left side upperBall joints loose, so they couldnt get it aligne.They told me $460 just to replace the upper ball joint and $690 for both inner tie rods.The point I try to say is that i took the truckshome and inspect what they said and theres nothing wrong with both inner tie rods and left upper ball joint.For business to grow and gain more customers you need to have integrity and honest to all your customers.Im not recommen to anybody.They are RIP off people.

Way overcharged me by half the price of other shops i called, $500 for an ac pipe, they told me the pipe cost over 200 but when i called autozone it was 45, on order it cost 25. This will be my first and last. Cheated my friend for something that dont need to be fixed lucky he didnt fix it n found out it was not broken. BBB this is one of the worse shop in town no wonder the lot was empty when i went there. Ac went hot after one week what a waste of my time causing my wife to scold me! 2 yr warranty? I am suspicous!

The people here are awesome!!!! They tell you everything that they notice right away; and do it for free; as long as you know whats exactly wrong, and have the parts. For the stuff that they cant fix, they tell you where you can get repairs done cheaply.

I have known the owner Greg for over 20 years. They back up their work and it is nice to sometimes get a loaner. For a previous reviewer who seemed surprised at part prices, you have to keep in mind that a private shop has to order parts and have them delivered. You will pay more for parts then you can buy them on the internet for. The difference is that you do not have to wait 2 days for them to arrive and you are not the one turning the wrench. AM-PM has a very solid warranty on their work and part of that is relationships with their part suppliers. A dealer sees my car if there is a recall. Otherwise this is the only place I trust.

I have been trusting my van to AM/PM for about 3 years now and have received 100% credible service. Repairs includes, brakes, transmission, shocks, front end work, even electrical connections to a trailer. They look beyond the immediate and make suggestions for remedies to eliminate possible future problems. Christian ethics abound.Each time I brought the van in, I have been kept informed as to the progress of the repair and having a loaner car available kept me from skipping a beat with my 3 jobs. I am thankful I was recommended to give them a try.

I wont be back. My wallet being opened at this repair shop is over. I spent good money there, but in the end I only got excuses not results. I cant afford to pay a premium price for a result that gives me more issues or worries. The owner is a good man and means well and will go the extra mile to help. I do like him a lot, but to many mechanics in and out of there and I cant afford to have an engine replacement every year. So I have to sadly move on.

Absolutely DO NOT go to this repair shop. I got approval from my warranty company to fix my water pump and tire rods. While fixing my water pump they broke my transmission lines.Trying telling me they need to be replaced for hundreds of dollars. My warranty company denied them the claim for transmission lines becuase it was not included on the diagnostic they preformed at the start. Then told me I had to pay $90 for them to fix what they broke. They fixed my metal transmission lines by adding a piece of rubber hose with zip ties, YES ZIPTIES! They never even ran a diagnostic on the truck to determine why the check engine light was on (which was covered by the warranty company) charged me over $100 in fees (shop material $40, haz. Waste $45, misc $30). Worst experience ever. I am currently working with a lawyer and am in contact with reporter. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Back in the fall of 2015 I took my wifes 2001 toyota highlander to this shop because it was riding really rough when going over bumps, also it was burning through oil at a fairly alarming rate.They diagnosed the problem(s) and recommended new struts(front and back), as well as new valve cover gaskets(as the old ones were worn out or failing). Partway through the repair they also said the spark plugs looked bad and should be replaced.This brings me to my first con of this shop. Markup.I paid $23 per spark plug when I could go to Autozone and pick them up for $9 a piece. Stupid me. They finish the work and $3000+ later Im on my way.Fast forward a year and a half, I take the car in as the check engine light is on and its running really rough. They diagnose the problem, my knock sensors are not functioning correctly. This would require them to replace the knock sensors, total cost $1400. I balk at that price but they tell me its 3 hours of labor. I ask where the other $1100 is coming from and its parts. They quote me at $330 PER KNOCK SENSOR. The most expensive price I can find online for that part is $150. Most are between $125-135. So, $400 markup just on those two parts. :(.In addition, they notice that my valve cover gaskets are shot and need to be replaced(remember that $$$ repair I had a year and a half ago?). To their credit, they cover this under warranty so Im off the hook. they replace the valve cover gaskets and send me on my way, I decide to do a bit of research before getting the knock sensors replaced. This car is 16 years old after all.I take the car to a different shop who quotes me at $450 to replace the knock sensors(another shop quoted $950). While he has the intake manifold off, he notices something wrong with the valve cover gaskets. They were not installed correctly, o-rings werent lubricated, some bolts werent tightened, etc. Overall just a shoddy job. AND I have a misfiring cylinder because my spark plugs look shot. Interesting, those Iridium spark plugs with a 70-100k mile lifespan that I paid 3x markup for 12k miles ago are already shot, thats strange.I call AMPM back up, and again, to their credit they agree to take a look at the car and assess what happened. After a fair amount of back and forth they admit that the person who replaced the valve cover gaskets did not know how to replace them properly....AND DID IT ANYWAYS. While also admitting that the job wasnt done properly a year and a half ago. They disagree with the assessment that there is a misfire on one of the cylinders until I tell them to take it for a drive and tell me if they disagree then. After some more back and forth they agree to replace two of the spark plugs.I had to push to get the two spark plugs replaced for free because technically they werent covered under warranty since my engine was burning oil. After I reminded them that the reason I brought my car in initially was BECAUSE IT WAS BURNING OIL, they agreed to replace two of the $9 spark plugs for absolutely no cost to me...Which now means that they didnt completely diagnose my oil burning problem originally, instead they suggested an expensive repair that, while it was needed at the time, they also botched. What type of damage does running a car with improperly seated valve cover gaskets have on an engine? No idea.Heres the thing. Everyone I worked with at AM PM was always friendly, they always took the time to try to explain the problems to me. I feel a little bad writing a negative review because everyone was really nice. Ultimately, its the large markup and their inability to fix a problem on their first two tries. Nothing personal, like I said, they all were very pleasant!What they should have done?- Replace all spark plugs for free(They cleaned the other 4 plugs, why not just replace all of them to put my mind at ease? Would cost $36 for them)- Offer to diagnose the oil burning problem for free(this is why I initially took the car in) and offer me an extremely fair price for the repair(just parts, no labor? Parts at COST).
