Jacob, Andrew, Aaron, Blake all helped me out such a great deal on 2 visits, came in for a popped tire, found out I had no break fluid (my break light was on for 2 days), they got the parts delivered and had it done in roughly 4 hours! I had 2 calipers, 2 break sets and 2 routers and a nail in tire repair. Thats really fast for a same day walk in and I greatly appreciate it!!! The next visit, Jacob bled the air out of my break system because the pedal was slow to break, then, I think his name was Aaron, he looked up my cars recall and printed the sheet to explain it easier to me, and called Ford Midway and found out they had the part I needed that was messing up my breaks, the HCU valve, eventhough I was already at Towsley Ford a few weeks back and they said it was on backorder, so I called Ford and they finally said yes I can come in and get it replaced on Thursday!!! Jacob made my car safe again and Aaron went the extra mile and fixed my Ford Fusion recall break problem out if his way, so thank you!!! All the guys here are very nice and make you laugh! Dropped off 2 tires for my corvette, 235/30/19 and they got them mounted and balanced that day. great service and they have the tools to do a big tire like mine, very happy. and the price was under $50 for 2 tires with tpms sensors.ill definitely go back for the jobs i cant do myself.

I scheduled a free tire rotation online on 10/09/2121 and when I went to the store the guy told me I should schedule in store so he setup me in 10/14/21 at 8:00 am and when finally go into the store another guy said I am online and need to schedule with him in store for 10/16/21 so I am tired of their game and I paid insurance for replacement of all my four tires at Maplewood location but one by my house is so bad ( short of stuff and lie about )

The older gentleman at the front desk is the only good point of this review. He checked my tire pressure, and oil ad was very polite and helpful. In the background 2 younger mechanics joked around using profanity while I stood there. A big and tall mechanic walked up and kept distracting the nice man helping me. When I asked the nice man about my oil being possibly too full from a recent oil change the tall mechanic chimed in and said when you check it you have to wipe the stick off before putting it in. Wow. True chauvinism at its worst. Way to represent the worst professionalism and male misogyny.

Walked in needing diagnostic and repairs and was able to get everything fixed right away. No appointment or wait other than for the repairs which only took an hour or so for a couple u joint replacements. Friendly staff and fair price.

Took my car in to get a tire repaired as it caught a nail. When I got home, I noticed there was a sticky string of something by the wheel well where the tire was repaired; upon smelling it it was definitely gum. Then I noticed that there was a part there that wasnt put together all of the way. I called them about it and there was no apology and their suggestion was to bring it back in. Id prefer to bring it somewhere with more professional service.

I usually wait on site, have a free coffee, and break out my browser for internet access.

This place is a scam. Went there to do my rear left brake pad. They told me they only do them in pairs and quoted me for both. Two hours in the job they told me that my one caliper was seized and they would need to replace that in addition for $250 extra. When I got the car back they never even replaced the pads on the right side which I paid for. When I confronted them they started making stuff up. Never again

Got a flat tire on my kia. I took the tire off and brought it in this morning, Sunday may 10th, at 10 am. They had me a brand new tire in under 45mins. Both the gentleman I spoke with were very professional and polite. I will absolutely be going back for any tire or vehicle maintenance in the future.

Had a screw in my tire and a quick leak; they got me back on the road in less than an hour for around $30. What else do you want when you have a tire issue?!? Stop reading reviews and go see Jason and his teammates.

Dreadful. Today was the last straw and Ill never go there again. Had an appointment for a simple oil change on my F150 and it took 80 minutes to complete. Ive changed oil in many vehicles and heavy equipment and it has never taken more than 30 minutes ... and I dont have a lift to make it simple. I dont think it would be possible for the mechanic to walk/move any slower and he seemed to get distracted by every shiny object he came across. I even asked the desk clerk if we could speed things up and there was absolutely no change in pace or care. This wasnt my first dreadful experience with this shop, but it will definitely be my last. One star is way too generous.

Theyre great for oil changes and Ive bought tires there, but Im not super satisfied with their service otherwise. I went in on Tuesday, told them my issues, scheduled an inspection for Friday. Come Friday, they have my appointment set up but no notes from what I told them on Tuesday. So I repeat it - one of the problems being that Ive had to replace 3 or 4 headlight bulbs (filament went out, glass didnt shatter) in the last year so I wanted them to see if theres an electrical issue or something.So they finished up with the inspection and identified a couple parts I need replaced (no complaints there), but didnt even mention the headlights. I had to remind them that one was even out, even though its supposedly part of their inspection. When I asked if they found anything weird with it, their response was just nah, just that one was out. I mentioned for the third time that Ive had to replace a bunch of them, they clarified that I hadnt just touched the bulbs (the glass shatters after a while if you get any oil on it), and their response was huh, weird, maybe get long-life bulbs next time.There was also no mention at the time that my check engine light was on. Its for a known issue, and its minor enough that Im not worried about it, but youd think they would bring it up?For the most part I got what I needed but I cant say I was entirely happy with the service I got.

I made an appointment for a tire rotation. Prior to walking in, I knew one of my tires has distinct curb damage. After completion, I checked that my tires were in fact rotated, and they were not. Since the tire with curb damage was in the same location, as when I initially parked the vehicle for the tire rotation.I went back in and asked the lead store associate if they rotated my tires. Of course, they said yes. He had the technician rotate them again. (Why would the technician need to rotate them again, if they said they rotated my tires?)If I did not say anything, I would have had a vehicle without rotated tires, and wasted time and money for said service. It makes you question the integrity of this store.

Fast and very helpful, they even let me use a torque wrench to make sure my tire was on right. I highly recommend you fux with these people.

Aweful service and even worse mechanical ability. Took my car here for an oil leak, they said it was repaired when I picked it up and all was good, even though the light was still on...when I asked about the light they said it would go off once the car registered the new oil level in a few days. I took it home and the check oil light stayed on for another week. I asked them to take another look to make sure there was no leak, I also asked them to look at my battery and squeaking breaks. They seemed annoyed I asked them to look at these additional items while inspecting my oil issue but I shrugged it off. I was then told everything on the car was fine and there were NO oil leaks, NO break issues and NO problems with the battery (which barely turned over under 20 degrees). Frustrated and questioning their professional conclusions, I took my vehicle to the dealership to have it inspected and they identified 2 oil leaks, the need for a new battery and new spark plugs, breaks that were so bad it needed both new pads and rotors, and the engine was misfiring. In all the repairs needed totaled over $6,000. I paid Tires Plus over $900.00 to inspect and repair a minor oil leak. When I asked for a refund because nothing was fixed or actually identified, I was told the oil leak they fixed wasn’t one of the ones the dealership quoted. Insane. Avoid this place at all costs!

I have been going to Tires Plus for many years and I have never had a negative experience at the Centerville Road location. They have always performed in a timely manner and at the level of quality I expect. Scott and his crew keep me informed on any issues they see that need attention but with no high pressure sales. Having a son-in-law who manages a Christian Brothers Automotive in Texas I am well aware of the pressure to up sell and can honestly state I have never experienced that here.

I used Auto max for an oil change approx 15 days ago and the car had been leaking oil since then. I was able to see new oil spots every day under the car in my garage. I took it back to Auto max and they said there was no leak and started arguing with me. I called Scott at Tires Plus. He was very prompt and said bring the car over. Tires Plus found that there was a leaky gasket which they replaced and topped of the oil. In view of my situation, he decided to not even charge me anything for his time and the gasket and the topping of the oil. BIG THANK YOU TO TIRES PLUS AND SCOTT.

Had an appointment at 11. Dropped it off at 10 for tires. They quoted 1-1.5 hours. Its now almost 2:00 and its still not done. Thank god I didnt need to be anywhere anything soon.

This place is the real deal!!! I had brought my truck into 3 other shops to have a wheel alignment done, only to have the steering wheel crooked after each attempt. These guys got it right the first time. I can now drive down the road perfectly aligned with a straight steering wheel. It may seem like a minor thing but these guys were great. I gave my Nissan Rogue on 30th Nov Sat evening. It was agreed that they would change all the 4 tires on Sunday 1st Dec. I went at 4 pm on Dec 1st. The tires were not changed. We took back our car. We were disappointed that the manager had lied to us. Either they did not have the tires in stock or they gave priority to other customers.

Took vehicle there to get brake inspection.Told me I needed rotors and pads.Fine, I went to auto parts store bought what I needed. Got home to start the brake job, and come to my surprise they cross threaded my lug nuts. Couldn’t get them off of drivers side.I’m pissed. Had to put everything away, drive back down to tires plus so they could fix their damage. Unbelievable waste of day.

Brought tire in for plug, picked up later and now tire low the following day. Not sure if they didnt fix or shoddy workmanship. Irritating none the less.

I liked this store when Mike Nelson managed it but now hes in Forest Lake. So I take all my business to the Forest Lake Tires Plus. Mike is very honest and will never cheat you. Its worth the drive to the Forest Lake Tires Plus if youre looking for honest and dependable auto care.

Great staff friendly, polite, and knowledgeble and overall great experience. The manager Scott was eager to answer all questions I had and point me in the right direction as to which tire would be my best choice and value for what I need them for.

Avoid. This place redid my bearings in my boat trailer. Less than 500 miles the bearings are loud and clearly failing. Took the trailer back and they claim I have water in the bearings. That I should be adding grease to the system, which I do.Told me to add a bearing buddy. I have a sure lube system. Bearing buddies do nothing for those. They clearly dont stand by their work, 4 bad reviews in one month. Take your money and time elsewhere.Update: You didnt fix anything. Trailer bearings are still loud. Packing them full of grease and telling me to put a bearing buddy on did not fix anything. The correct way to fix it, is to actually fix it, not to provide an answer on google reviews stating you fixed it for free. You didnt fix anything, you opened the covers jammed them full of grease and called it good.

I absolutely recommend this Tires Plus location. I showed up with an unexpected problem, was helped right away, and the manager even worked with me on the cost. Everybody from the front desk to inside the garage were very friendly and I will definitely be going back for any further car issues I have.

Updated: quality deteriorating rapidly now the are corporate. Last three times I went there were issues: put wrong size tire on once, left a cone on top of engine and didnt put oil filter in this last and final time I use them.Decent prices and tire selection. Go-to place for oil changes as theyll rotate tires if you bot them there. Made appointment but didnt get my car serviced until 20 minutes after appt time, kinda like a doctor visit. Recently converted from franchise to corporate so perhaps service will only improve.

Very slow. Needed a very simple oil change and it took about an hour and half to two hours. The only reason I went there was because my dad was out of town and it takes him maybe 20-30 mins to change my oil.What a waste of time.

Had an appointment for 4 pm, they didn’t bring the car inside the shop until 4:20, it is now 5:30 and they just started lifting it up for the oil change. It’s been an hour and thirty minutes and they haven’t started the oil change yet.

Was able to get me in right away without an appointment. Anyone commenting on the time to change oil needs to stop. If you want in and out service, go to jiffy lube and pay that over charged premium for the instant in and out service otherwise stop your whining. FYI, I came for an alignment, not oil change, but have always come to tires plus locations and never had any issues.

My family and I have gone to tires plus for years and have never had a problem... until today. I called Friday to set up a time to get all my tires replaced and an oil change. I was told to come in the next day and they would get it done. Got an appointment time for the next morning. When I showed up Saturday at my appointment time they retook all the info that I had given them the day before and said they had to special order my tires but they would be put on in the afternoon and my car would be ready for a 10am pickup Sunday. I showed up at 1230 Sunday, and the clerk made a joke about me being late for pickup. After 15 minutes of looking around and talking with the mechanics in the shop, I was told they hadnt even started on my car but that I could come back at 5pm and it would be ready. I had previously told them I needed the car done by Sunday morning as I was unable to pickup the car any other time. I understand that things can happen, and that orders can get missed, but what I was shocked with was the lack of service recovery. No offer to include a free oil change or perhaps a small discount for not following through with the service they promised me and wasting my time. I still need new tires and an oil change and now Im at the end of the weekend and wont be able to have any work done till the next weekend. Needless to say I will not be going to tires plus again any time soon and will not recommend them to anyone due to this experience. Ive had good experiences with North Oaks Auto Service across the street and will be giving my business to them going forward.

Made an appointment for Thursday at 1 o’clock I called they didn’t even have the appointment in there so I changed it for Friday for 2 o’clock this is an appointment to have an oil change I told them I had a birthday party I had to attend so I figured about an hour, well an hour and a half later they didn’t even have it up on the rack yet I had to leave never got the oil change and not even an apology I’ve been going here for nine years I have to rethink about going back again!

Setup an oil change at 2pm, didnt get out til 2hrs after. Wow! For an oil change?! Mechanic couldnt even reset the maintenance icon on my car(took me 5 seconds to figure out). How the heck do you really sure if they even do any service on your car or know what theyre doing? Oil was spilled around my engine block and was not cleaned up.Bottom line is, if you have all day to wait for an oil change then go here. Ridiculous service!!!

I took my car in for a repair they recommended to fix an oil drip. After the repair, I found a puddle of oil about 3 feet wide under my car. My first trip back, they told me it was a loose bolt. My second trip back, they told me the repair needed to be done over. My third trip back, they told me they found another oil leak and told me it would cost an additional $400. I asked for my money back and the manager refused saying he wasnt present at the time of the diagnosis so he had no way of knowing whether the repair was valid or not. I took my car across the street to North Oaks Auto and they found no leaks after putting an ultraviolet dye in the oil and running the car for 2 hours. They did find a lot of oil in the engine frame and splattered all over the engine, which was probably causing the additional dripping. They also told me Tires Plus should have thoroughly cleaned the undercarriage of my car after the repair. I am still in the process of getting my money back and will never return to Tires Plus at Centerville Road and Hwy 96 in White Bear Lake, MN.

My steering wheel has been shaking rapidly when I break (especially coming off the highway). I took my 2010 Pontiac G6 into Tires Plus and they told me that all of my breaks were absolutely terrible. To quote, they said your back breaks are totally worn down, and you should get this car done because it is dangerous. This freaked me out, especially being a 22 year old young female, knowing NOTHING about cars. They were going to charge me $744.00 for 4 new break pads and 4 new roters. This sounded very high to me, considering I just graduated college. I called one of my moms friends to look at my car and get a second look. I bought new break pads, and he showed me what mine looked like. Mine looked almost brand new. He told me the only one that might need replacement (although it only has light usage) was one back break. He said it was UNREAL I was told to get four new ones. He said the problem is something else.My point is, they overcharge, they do not even investigate the real problem, and they take advantage of unknowledgable customers.I will never come back to this store, because clearly they only care about money and have ZERO integrity. I am from the White Bear area and am so disappointed that any company would overcharge by so much money.

Wife went to Tires Plus to get her brakes done. She is not too car knowledgable but she got serviced and paid the bill. After I look at bill when she gets home found out they charged her $250 for 2 front rotors on a 2013 Kia Optima plus $150 to put them on...that is ridiculous. Even put on some ceramic brake pads to drive up the bill more! They saw her coming and fleeced her good...

This doesnt even deserve 1 star!!Their warranty is awful. Be careful, after spending over 500.00 for tires, and a 60,000 warranty... halfway through the warranty, two tires were worn on the inside tread. They refused to honor the warranty. After installing the tires they said a alignment was not needed, they wouldnt honor the warranty because they said it hadnt been aligned.

During a visit to the cities, my wifes car started having some alignment issues. I had an appointment made on Sunday (one of the few places open on Sundays). During the appointment, the mechanic spotted two other issues that needed attention, a few things that didnt, but also, failed to do a proper alignment. When my wife returned home (without improvement), I found our issue with one of the wheels was a simple broken bolt that was overlooked. The alignment they had charged us for, would not have been possible to perform with this specific bolt not functioning.When I contacted the shop about our service, they apologized, and refunded the amount of the alignment. They emphasized that there was a mis-communication, and that they want to be sure that people are taken care of. - It seems they strive for good customer service.This Tires Plus location is okay.

Should be getting a zero star but unfortunately they do not let you do that. I made an appt to get my cars front end aligned and I showed up 10 minutes prior to my appt time. I gave the counter person all the vehicle information and my key. I was told that their was one car on the alignment rack and that it would be done shortly. I waited 1 hour and never heard from anyone working there as to what was going on. I decided 1 hour was long enough and went back inside the shop, got my vehicle key and drove off. These guys are not concerned about your time. They have extremely poor communication and also jacked up the price on me by $10. I had called 2 days prior when I made my appt and was told the out the door price for the alignment would be $70. When I handed over my vehicle key, the counter person told me the total was $80. I told him I was quoted $70 and he revised the invoice to $67. I have been around cars all my life and I can fix anything that breaks on my cars. I do not need any repair shop. Unfortunately I do not have an alignment machine otherwise I would align the vehicle my self. Their are many shops to choose from, do yourself a favor and go somewhere where your time is respected and you are not quoted one price and then are charged another. I would never recommend this shop to anyone.

Husband brought his car in for a oil change told them to wedge the hood open the tech did not listen and hood slammed shut right away on the lift not even a week later and we have found damage. This place is notorious for messing up vechicles i found out from family members.

Tried to charge me 700$ to replace 2 TPMS sensors.TiresPlus:sensors $231ea. Valve stems$79ea.Napa: sensors cost $91ea. valve stems $4ea.They tried to run me through the ringer, then when I was about to leave, somehow this little turd said wait Ill see what I can do and all of the sudden the price was 400$.I bought the parts myself at napa and Walmart did it absolutely free! Do not let these people touch your vehicle! Call around first please. They will probably respond and say I was wrong but trust me dont believe them.
