Customer service is AMAZING! And they did EXACTLY what I asked for at an amazing price! Most definitely for now on THIS is my Go-To place!!💕💕💕 (by the way the pictures just don’t do justice to how great my nails came out!)

Ive been going here for a while and im really fed up with the service, every time I walk in i stand there for a while before anyone even asks how they can help me, last week i actually made an appointment because i had somewhere to be, over the phone i made the appointment for 5:45 when i got there they said 6 and then i had to sit and wait for 30 minutes past 6. I got my nails done and they look so bad, I asked her multiple time to correct things that were wrong like the acrylic going onto my finger, i later picked this off my finger like two days later and i was cut!! she also left the backs near my cuticle sticking up instead of flush with my skin and i asked her to correct this, this was not cheep i deserve to get what i paid for. I love the people but i will not be going back there for my nails.

Tried to call and make appointment, no answer. Showed up... Oh sorry, cant help you... Need an appointment.But lady was nice enough, just poorly run.

Ive been going here for several years for pedicures and have referred other customers. Although the co-owner Kim has never been very friendly, today I was shocked to see both her and her boyfriend without masks. There was also a hairdresser who works there without a mask. I politely requested that Id feel safer if she were wearing one, plus it is the law, and she flat out refused. Although I love the gal who does my pedicure I wont be back because the owners obviously dont care about their customers. Very disappointed.

Go here if you want it to look like a child did your manicure and have nail polish all over your skin! And the polish chipped after 1 day. I did give 3 stars because my pedicure was good and the nails of my friends I was with turned out really great. I would go back, but not the same technician.

I waited up front for 20 minutes even with a scheduled appointment. Not on time and incredibly rude.

I get my nails done every 3 weeks. I love Ms. Kim! She does a great job and I love that she picks out my colors and designs. (Let her know that Im not picky on color) Always looks great and I have not had a problem with peeling like I did at the last nail place I had gone too. My friends also started coming here and love the place. Everyone is so friendly!

I have been going to New Vision for 7+ years now and have just realized I never left a review! I always see Candice when I make my appointments. Candice has shaped my life in more ways than one. I love the cleanliness of the salon, the polish color selection, and just the atmosphere in general. It feels like Im with family every time I go in and Candice is the only person I trust with my nails! If you are looking for a wonderful nail salon in Wake Forest, then this is your place. It is by far the best! Support small business owners!

I will not be going back. I am new to the area and was looking for a good place to go. 1st thing I see when I walked in was the gentleman that works there was drinking wine on the job. He did do a decent job on my pedicure, not great but decent. I also got a full set of gel nails. The lady that did them was very friendly but my nails look awful and they were also complaining about customers that had just left because they were not happy with their nails. Maybe the other girls do a better job but those 3 things are a huge turn off.

I debated writing this review, but I think its important for other to know. I went there yesterday to get my nails done. The lady who did my nails was extremely friendly, but she did a TERRIBLE job on my nails. Its my fault for not speaking up and saying something, but because she was so nice I felt bad. I use to do nails years ago, and will usually do my own. Lately, Ive been way too busy between school, work, and family so I decided to treat myself. She put glitter on my nails, which I was NOT told at the time it would cost extra, but it did. Immediately after leaving the salon I sat in my car and stared at my nails, trying to convince myself they werent that bad. I sent a pic to my friend who responded with, OMG, those are so bad, go back in there and have them fix them. She was right, I should have, but I felt bad. I told my friend, Ill just try to fix them myself (again, I use to do nails). I went to Rite Aid since I wasnt going directly home, bought a nail file and began trying to shape them. The gel was all over my cuticles and the edges of my fingers, so filing was hard to do. I ended up cutting my cuticles in several places just trying to get the gel off of them. By the end of the night I had them completely off. Now my fingers are in worse shape than before, sore, and I paid $60 for that.

Manicurists are really good at doing fun designs and will do exactly what you show/ask. I am only giving it 4 stars because of the 20 min wait I had despite having an appointment set up two weeks in advance.

This was my first time and last time ever going to this salon. The salon itself was nice and clean but the customer service was horrible. I walk in and there was about 5 or 6 employees talking amongst each other trying to get things ready for the day. I understand when you’re busy trying to open up a store. But when a customer walks in you should greet them. They all looked at me and then went back to talking and joking around with eachother. Not one “good morning how can I help you”. So I stood at the front counter and waited for an employee to acknowledge me. Finally the young Asian man that works there asked if I needed help. I told him I had an appt for a pedicure. He told me to pick out a polish and to have a seat. As I’m sitting and waiting, there were 3 manicurists still talking amongst eachother, one looks at me, I smiled and she just completely ignored me. (Still not a smile or a good morning) but 2 other women who were clients walk in and they give them the royal treatment. And I understand those were probably long time clients and they’ve developed a friendship, but when you work with the public you should be kind to everybody who walks through those doors and make them feel welcome. So the young Asian man tells me to go sit at the pedicure seat and he begins my pedicure. I don’t want to say he was exactly rude through the pedicure but he wasn’t very friendly. I felt uncomfortable and I felt like it was a chore for him to have to talk to me. So at the end of the pedicure he puts the foam things between my toes and finishes painting my nails and then says “ok just sit there and wait till they’re dry”. He walks off to the back. About 5 minutes later comes back out eating a cupcake laughing and joking with the manicurists again. Walks by me about 3 times. I’m still waiting for him to say if I’m done and for him to take the foam things off my feet. Finally he walks up to me with his phone in his hand, looking down at his phone the whole time, says “ ok you can leave when you want, one of the girls will check you out when they get a chance”. And then he walks out the door and leaves. I’m just sitting there in shock because he didn’t even ask if I needed anything else, didn’t say thank you, didn’t even give me a chance to give him a tip. So I carefully take the foam things off my own feet myself mind you I have a new baby and not in the best of shape right now so I have a hard enough time reaching my feet and I walk up to the counter to pay (which I dreaded because those 3 manicurists were all busy with their clients and they already weren’t the friendliest ) but thankfully another girl that worked there walked up to take my payment, and she was really nice I wish I would have gotten her name but unfortunately one nice person out of that group was not enough to make me want to ever go back to this place. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know. You just don’t treat customers like this. Maybe they all need a refresher course in customer service.

Great service! One of the cheaper nail salons I have been to down here and I didnt sit in silence. The staff was so nice and talked to me most of the time and didnt make it feel awkward one bit! I was very satisfied over all!

I have been going to New Vision for almost 2 years, and they are hands down the best salon in town! Candace and the entire crew are so creative! I love the designs she does. My sister and I make appointments every two weeks and we never have to wait or feel rushed. I highly recommend this salon for all of your mani/ pedi needs!!!

I went a few weeks ago - pedi is still great but time to go back. Hopefully today. Paula is 5 stars all the way.

I was hesitant to post this, but know how important customer care and service is, being a healthcare professional and in contact with people on a daily basis. I had a pedicure that was scheduled on a Sunday, which I was lucky to acquire because of a last minute cancellation. I have had pedicures at higher end establishments for many, many years and never encountered this problem before. The nail area was very busy and I had the last chair available of I believe 5- or 6 chairs. When the young lady was filling the footbath, I told her I had a severe latex allergy, and she just looked at me and said ok. When the nail technician came, greeted me politely, and she started putting on her latex gloves, I told her I had a severe allergy to latex and could not come into contact with latex. Before I could ask her if she had non-latex gloves, she began to berate me that she couldn’t do the pedicure without gloves, especially if I had a lot of dry skin and callous to be removed because of the chemicals that are used. She also stated she had a latex allergy but still uses latex gloves (unlikely.) She said I had to bring my own gloves next time. It was a little embarrassing since the area was crowded, the other patrons were in close proximity and could hear the entire conversation. What made it even worse was all the nail technicians chimed in and said in so many words they cannot do a pedicure without gloves, because of the chemicals used to remove dry skin/callous, etc. I stated I did not have any callouses and that shouldn’t be a problem. I told the nail technician I do obtain pedicures routinely. I did mention I didn’t have this issue when I came in over the Thanksgiving weekend (2017) and she basically called me a liar when she said “you must have gone somewhere else, not here.” I said it was here and left it at that. I was quiet, she went on with the pedicure, and did a very nice job. She then tried to carry on a conversation, and I politely answered, not really wanting to talk. She was chatty, general conversation about family and stated I should come in during the week in the evenings because the weekends are always, busy, blah, blah. I paid in full and left a nice tip but will not be back. I can see this salon is popular and busy which is great, but sadly I will not be a patron at this establishment.

I have been coming here for years. Would not go anywhere else. Kim is awesome!!!

I called to see if there was any availability for walk ins this afternoon. I was in need of a haircut. I drove over an hour to get here only to find out, oh, you didnt say haircut, I thought you wanted to get your nails done. For Petes sake, NO! Anyway, just be sure you let them know the service youre interested in before making the same mistake I did.

Rude staff - will not be going back. I enquired about an eyebrow wax, was invited in, and then told abruptly that there was no one available to provide the service.

This my fourth trip, and the staff was friendly and wonderful as usual. I wasnt hurried along like I have been at some places, and the attendent made sure I was comfortable at every step.

Stop by because I had an appointment nearby and I didn’t have time to drive to my regular salon. The salon was clean. The customer service at the front desk was lacking, I should have taken that as my cue to leave. There was much debate about who was going to help me, even though there were no other clients at the time. Finally after a decision was made, the lady was very friendly but she did a very poor job.

One stop for great atmosphere, services, products and laughs.

This place has become awful. I have been coming regularly for months and the past few times I have been there I have been bumped from appointments that were made and told they only had time to provide one service I booked, not all of them. Ridiculous. Owners Candace and Lum are doing a very poor job with scheduling and then are very rude and snide about it when complaints are made.
