She kept it her whole life and often received compliments on it.My wife and I went to Jareds this week this week, to have it updated and enhanced. Borka spent over an hour with us, offering great suggestions, before we decided.The work was done in 24 hours and my wife is delighted. The redesigned ring is beautiful and it honors the memory of her mom.

My fiancé and I came in to trade my original engagement in for an upgraded ring. Maya and her coworker were very helpful and helped us find my perfect ring. I think many of the negative reviews are from people who are personalizing their rings so I cant say much to that since we bought mine preset. Its unique and beautiful. Were very happy.

Maya is THE BEST! Ive never purchased anything from a Jewelry store but I did a little bit of research online before calling Maya. Within 1 day we had our special rings. She even took the time to help us design our future rings with us!! I will be back. Keep on girl, COIV-19, what? :)
Jared is an excellent brand but we had the WORST EXPERIENCE at the Vienna location. As soon as we said we want a ring without diamonds, the staff suddenly lost interest in assisting us. We were shown 4-5 very basic rings available in the store and we were left on our own to look around. The person we had appointment with was coming back and forth to register his presence with no useful support. We were told to attend an event on Oct 15th in which they will bring more designs and gemstones, but guess what… we were given incorrect details. When we called on morning of Oct 15th, we were told that event is already over and it was on 14th. Wow! Staff is very incompetent and seems to have absolutely no knowledge of what services the brand actually offers.We knew that Jared is a great brand so we decided to give a different location a try. The staff at Dulles location wowed us with their expertise and professionalism. They worked with us for around 2 hours and we were able to customize the ring from the scratch.
I had my wedding ring set designed and made at the Tysons Corner Jared. I used my late moms blue sapphire and diamond ring. The ring was very dear to me they made me feel very comfortable about leaving it with them. It was appraised for $20,000.00 more then 20 years ago and I have no doubt it’s worth a lot more. I liked how I was greeted by a very nice lady and was offered tea too. That shows me how much they appreciate people. Sales people are there to sell and not be polite but still even though I was just browsing she did not try to forcefully sell me something but instead to make comfortable while i was there. Other jewelry stores should learn from this store and know that not everybody is coming in to buy but instead to browse and admire pieces that They would like to own one day. This sort of atmosphere made us feel good about coming in again and again.
Nice place, worth visiting for diamonds. They have just implemented a new pricing structure for diamonds.......the prices are awesome!! Got my girlfriend a 2ct good quality for under 15k. Most other stores were selling same diamond for almost 20k. Im glad I checked out Jared.
I would not waste your time. You can easily get better diamonds elsewhere. The communication, and service is almost laughable. I was told whatever they thought I wanted to hear, just so they could get a sale. They love to let you know that they are the biggest name in the industry, but dont they know that they spend the most on advertising, and marketing. The biggest name does NOT mean better, in this case. I found a beauty with better specs, and more weight.
From all of the jewellers Ive been to in terms of customer service they are all very top notch. But Jareds has 1 employee who is beyond the rest and his name is Ty. This man helped me search for hours for the perfect band to go with the diamond for me to propose to my now fiancee. There is a lot of passion in this man when it comes to helping his customers and you can definitely tell.As for all the other services such as fixing the ring and warranty stuff only time will tell if Jared truly holds up their end.
Absolutely terrible experience. Their communication abilities are so bad that I ended up cancelling my order after 3 weeks. I reached out about my order 7 times, and only ever got 2 responses (and they were not helpful ones). In all that time, no progress was made on my order. My order wasnt a rush but the customer should not be required to call twice a week to get any status updates or to get them to make any progress.
Stopped in and was ignored by all sales staff for entire ten minutes I was in the store. Most were working with other customers, but not one even attempted eye contact or a brief greeting. Wholly unimpressed and happily supporting an independent jeweler instead.
Drew, the Manager of Jared at Tysons, was fantastic! He had excellent customer service and always followed up after we placed the order. He showed us a range of options to choose from and made great recommendations making the selection of my ring an enjoyable shopping experience.
This place deserves a negative rating if possible. Upon dropping my ring off, the management was bitter since neither the stone nor setting was purchased from them, so they automatically wanted to devalue the amount they would pay me to replace the setting and stone if it were to go missing/damaged (Which is not rare at this location if you look throughout other reviews!) They promised and assured that they would have my ring ready by a certain time (went to set a stone into a ring) and upon arrival, it took them 30 minutes to inform me that the ring was indeed not ready.I paid a premium price and chose Jared as they assured the ring would be ready in time, otherwise I would have proceeded with another jeweler. The least the management could have done is be proactive and reached out as they had access to both my phone number and email to inform me that the ring would not be ready in time. Nevertheless, they did nothing to contact me and lied multiple times to my face as to why the ring was not ready, after making initial claims that it was.The story doesnt end there. The management deflected all blame and refused to apologize for their massive mistake - ruining the planned proposal. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY BUSINESS DEALINGS WITH THIS JEWELRY STORE AS IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. Customer service is horrible as is the jewelry they have on site. All of the promises and assurances were blank statements. You will have a better time going to a pawn shop and receiving service there. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

They custom made the perfect ring for my fiance, and all I gave them was a picture she found on Pinterest. None of the other jewelers I shopped could do what I was asking. This Jareds took advantage of me and ripped me off. I was sent here by the Jared in Dulles Town Center to get my ring soldered together because they had a laser, told me would be $95.98, I even saw the price sheet that said to solder rings together it would be $47.99 per ring( I had 2) when I traveled over 1 hour to get to the store they told me would have to be soldered in 3 places for each ring and would be $300! Unfortunately I let them do it, I was so frustrated, traveled a very long time to get there, I should of not done it! They ripped me off, how is my ring any different than any other? All of them are round, wouldnt you need to always but 3 points of solder on a ring and if not then they are ripping off the people that they dont use 3 points! Never again! Also charged me sales tax I called the Virginia department of taxation they should not be charging sales tax on repairs! Look at the consumer complaint website! Jared as a company sure does have a lot of complaints! No wonder people dont trust jewelers!
Ive been coming to this same location for the past 6 years. Every single time I come into this location I have an amazing experience. I always come in with intentions to buy one thing and end up leaving with multiple pieces all because I get the best service.

My husband took me on a surprise trip to Jared for our anniversary. I hadnt visited one yet, but oh my.......so many beutiful things. I was impressed how the saleswoman offered us a beverage which made us feel fancy.
They constantly pressured me into making a purchase for a ring I said several times we were not ready for. Then they told me to submit info for a pre-qualified account of $500, which apparently turned into a $9000 credit card which I now have to delete from my credit report. AFTER they told me there would be no effects to my credit report. Never shop here.
This place deserves six stars! The staff is professional and fair in all aspects of their business. My engagement ring is fantastic, and Jared made engagement ring shopping a truly wonderful experience. The negative reviews come across rather exagerated, and overblown. CLEARLY there is more to some of these stories than what a few people are trying to portray. I am now a Jared customer for life.
Worst buying experience of my life. The sales staff is amazing...until they have your money. The 10 days or less we were promised for delivery of the ring turned into months of conflicting stories, failure to call back, and outright lies. Later, the center stone was loose in less than 2 months and they were unable to correct the problems with the ring...which involved another month of me constantly calling and not getting calls back. They over promise and grossly under deliver. If you have a gun to your head and absolutely must purchase from them, goad the person with the gun to pull the trigger. You will be happier in the end.
My Fiancé & I began engagement ring shopping a few months back. Very hesitant as we were new to this. We were fortunate enough to come to Jareds in Tysons Corner when Ty was working their. He literally took care of us from start to finish. I was personally in communication with him on a regular basis through text/call (Which many people dont do now a days). Purchased our wedding rings at this store. Assisted by Ty, wifes wedding ring was available same day but my ring had to be ordered. Wife opened a Jared account for the rings. 2 weeks past and not a single follow up call whatsoever or any update on my ordered ring. Bad customer service. So disappointed!
It was so nice that I came in to browse and they asked to clean all of the jewlery I was wearing. They even found that one of the diamonds in my studs was loose. For my surprised they were able to fix it! I grabbed lunch, came back amd it was ready. They even cleaned it!!! I made an appointment with a master jeweler to bring all of my jewelry. Is nice to know I can get my jewelry back the same day.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would.....*********We did receive wonderful feedback from the corporate customer service and they acknowledged our original situation was not handled properly. They told us they would remake our rings and we needed to return to the same store to get this corrected.....then the store refused to let us make an appointment.This is my latest letter to corporate. We are NOT happy....and still waiting for things to get right.*******Unfortunately, this situation has gone from bad to worse.I did what you suggested, and things did not go well.On Sunday (June 12th) I called Jared Galleria in Tysons Corner to speak with the General Manager, Mohamed. I was told that he was not in until Tuesday, so I left a message for him. On Tuesday (June 14th) I called again around 5:30pm. I was notified that he was in a meeting so I left another message. I waited over 4 hours and called back at 9:50pm. Mohamed answered. I let him know I had left two messages, which he said he did not receive. This is concerning....and not a good look for customer service. He is either not getting my messages or he is choosing not to call me back. At first I would think he didnt get my messages.....until the conversation continued. Mohamed informed me that he read my letter to customer service and feels like he should not have to deal with me. His exact quote was, As you feel you dont trust me, I no longer have trust in you. I dont think I should continue to work with you.This is absolutely 100% unacceptable. The poorest example of customer service Ive ever seen or heard.I went over the details in your email to us about the corrective action plan, and he said he couldnt help us until he spoke with you again. He mentioned his Assistant General Manager set us up with the Extended Service Plan, but that was all he needed to do. Well, this is not correct and I AGAIN went over the details of your email. I asked to make an appointment with him so we can come in and put this entire situation in the past. He refused to set a meeting with me. He claimed he needed to speak with his Assistant General Manager before he dealt with us, and that wouldnt be until Thursday.This baffles my mind. If he is the General Manager, why can he not assist us? I have everything in witting from you regarding the next steps, but that is apparently not enough.I asked to get then number for his boss, but he refused to give it to me.I am trying very hard to stay patient. I want nothing more than to get these rings fixed and put this behind us. Unfortunately Mohamed is making this a personal problem and professionalism is completely out of the door.My wife and I will be returning to the store on Thursday evening to get this rectified....regardless of a follow up phone call. I have never been so offended by a managers actions...or complete lack thereof.I look forward to continuing our discussion since this experience is getting worse and worse.Im having a very hard time with the fact that this manager refused to help us EVEN after you directed us to return to the store.
Unfortunately the staff seemed to be ready to go home after 5pm ( the store is open until 9pm). Nobody was really interested in helping, waited at least 10 minutes before anyone paid attention to us in an almost empty store (only one more couple was there). I have been to many Jared stores and this has by far the least friendly staff I have seen. We have worked with many Jared employees who went above and beyond to help us with our purchases. I guess we wont be going back to this particular store. We came home and shopped online.

Do not go here! In store service was OK. After they received the money for the order the experience was terrible. There was no follow up phone call to let me know that the order had arrived and when I called they could not locate the order information under my name. The ring was delivered one week before I got it and I was only able to find out the ring had arrived by complaining to management.

They have a great selection but that is the extent. Told me there was 0% financing for six months but wasnt. Was actually 24%. My bad for not reading the fine print but not returning to that store. Pushy salespeople and not that knowledgeable.
The sales woman was very rude when I cancelled my ring since the design for the proxy ring was never emailed to me. I dont understand why being rude is an option when I Cancelled for something within the grace period. They really need to work on treating people the same way whether we are ordering the ring or we are canceling. Its our choice!!!!! Do not go to them ever!!!!!

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer experience and even management wasnt willing to help. I bought my wedding band from Jareds and when I picked it up it has several quality issues. They took it back the first time to fix it. I came back a week or so later and it still had problems. Then, they told me that they couldnt fix it (due to polished finished it had). I got the runaround with the store manager and Corporate and they offered me a $50 gift card after 1 month of several trips and a $2000+ ring. There are so many places, dont bother with these guys!

Im completely outraged by my experience here and felt the need to share this review with everyone so that others can learn from my experience and avoid this terrible place.My fiancé proposed to me a few months ago and bought me a beautiful Vera Wang ring. I loved it from the moment I saw it and immediately came to Jared at Tysons to have it resized. After two visits, I was informed that if you reduce the size of a ring by more than 2, the stones would be at risk of falling away over time. Since my fiancé ordered the ring in a size 7, and I needed the ring in a size 4.25, Nasha worked with Vera Wang to make me a custom sized ring in a smaller size. Once that ring came in, we would then have it taken down to a 4.25 and I wouldnt have to worry about the stones falling away.Receiving this information on my second visit to Jared was unsettling, and I felt that they should have informed my fiancé of this before he purchased the ring or perhaps in our first attempt to resize the ring. However, Nasha put in the order with Vera Wang and I was told to wait 2.5 months to receive the custom sized ring.Over the past 2.5 months, Ive called Nasha multiple times to confirm the details, check on the order and double-check on the arrival date. Late last week, I received a call from Nasha saying: good news, the ring is here and I came in today to have it sized. I saw the beautiful ring that Vera Wang had custom-made me and I immediately loved it. We had my finger sized again and I left, eager to pick up my ring in a few hours, and waited in a nearby coffee shop until Jared notified me that the ring was ready for pick up.Then, my fiancé received a devastating phone call: Vera Wang sent the right ring with the wrong center stone. I was notified that the price of the custom-sized ring that Jared received was above 10K, and that they could not honor the sale for me, despite the fact that I have been waiting 2.5 months to receive the ring and followed up with Jared multiple times about the order.Outraged and devastated, I called Jared and spoke to Mohamud (manager) and also spoke to Damaris with Customer Care, and heard many apologies. Mohamud admitted Jareds mistake but told me there was nothing they could do because the difference in the cost of the ring my fiancé purchased and the custom-made ring was several thousand dollars. I told them that the difference it cost was irrelevant: that Vera Wang made a mistake and should honor the sale and allow me to have the ring I waited 2.5 months for. To make matters worse, I was told that Vera Wang could get me another custom-sized ring in two weeks. I told Mohamud and Damaris that I didnt want to wait an additional 2 weeks to receive the ring that I have at this point been waiting 3 months for.Want to hear the worst part? In speaking with Damaris at Customer Care about this, I asked to return the ring and for my fiancé to be refunded the entire cost of the ring, and she told me that they couldnt do so because we are currently beyond the standard 30 day return period. Ive never heard such more cold-hearted response and begged that they make an exception given all the hardship Ive been through. I asked to speak with Vera Wang and both Damaris and Mohamud told me they dont have direct phone lines to Vera Wang. I asked to speak to the regional manager at Jared and all Damaris said was that she could send me to his voicemail.I cannot tell you how outraged I am by this; that they wouldnt be willing to refund me in full despite this outrageous process. My only hope is to tell you all about this so that the same wont happen to you. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS SO YOU WONT SUFFER LIKE I HAVE. It just isnt worth the pain and heartache.

I agree with most of the reviews I have read. Way, way, way to pushy! Great selection! Great location. But I would say 80% of the sales people are less than proficient and far too aggressive. If you are going to be that aggressive as a sales person at least kno the product. I have shopped the for many gifts from my wedding bands and rings to nice watches and earrings and pandora accessories, but when I enter I have to be ready for the Attack of the sales person. I am a loyal, trusting, Jared shopper. I just wish they would get the sales Personel on a leash.My two cents.
I dont write many reviews but after my experience at Jared (specifically with Ty and Neelum) I felt like I couldnt let all of the negative reviews keep others from such a great place. I called and asked for an appointment to buy an engagement ring. Neelum and Ty greeted me with smiles and made the entire process easy, fun, and enjoyable. I was a little worried that Id get judged for marrying a woman or would be talked into buying something that I could not afford but after buying the ring and when I left the store I felt as if I had just made two really good friends. Their customer service and knowledge is outstanding.When I went in to pick up the ring I had the same outstanding experience although Ty and Neelum were not there. Seriously everyone is friendly and more than excited to help.We just left the store today (to find a center stone for my ring an to look at wedding bands) and we got hugs on arrival and departure. Every staff member Ive encountered is so incredibly nice. Theyre happy to work around issues (my Fiance cannot wear a wedding band with any diamonds because of her job) and come up with beautiful and creative solutions.I feel like Ty and Neelum need wedding invites now! Its clear that they love what they do because they are GREAT at it! Sure its fun going to a jewelry store because what woman doesnt like diamonds but its even better when you know youll be in good hands from beginning to end.Delete review
Every time we go somewhere we always read about there reviews before we shop there, after reading the reviews for this location me and my fiance were reluctant to come here, but since we were in the market for an engagement ring we decided to pay them a visit. Much to our surprise the experience at jared in Tysons corner was totally different then what we expected. Last Saturday after visiting 3 diamond dealers in Tysons area when we walked into jared we were greeted right at the door, the sales lady welcomed me and my fiance into the store with warm smile. She introduced her self asked for our names and reason for visiting then sat us down in a private room. Me and my fiance were shocked since no one came up to us at the last 3 stores we visited, the experience at other stores was cold and focused on the product. But this sales lady at jared wanted to know more about us and focused on our needs. After spending almost 2 hours at jared my fiance and I picked the perfect ring, it was exactly what she wanted and perfect for my budget. We ended up financing the ring thru their in house finance program. The sales lady informed us that the ring will be sized and the center stone set in 2 hours which was another shock, since the other stores had much longer time line. We loved the fact that they have a service center inside the store. We couldnt come back to pick up the ring the same day, but I just picked it up and it looks even better now. After visiting Jared in Tysons corner our perception of this place is completely changed. I hope everyone reads my review, and pay them a visit if you are in the market for an engagement ring cause THIS IS HOW THE DIAMOND BUYING SHOULD BE.
Extremely dissatisfied with this store! I purchased a very expensive watch from this store Movado Sapphire, there was no box my watch was given to me with a Gucci box. I purchased the watch at the end of July I was promised a call to let me know when the watch box would be in, it is now September 16, and I have called the store twice with no resolution. I have not received any communication from the store regarding the box. This has been a horrible $2000 experience. Follow up lacking!

Biggest scam in the whole DMV area.Here are the high yield points.-Extremely pushy sales people who are not knowledgable. Be sure to grab a book or google search about basic diamond facts (cut, clarity, etc) before going, because they will scam you.-Louie (asian woman, manager, long hair) is the biggest b-word in this whole industry. She will be all fake nice to your face and then lie to you. We were promised our rings, but given that my finger size necessitated a specially made size it was promised but not delivered. After threatening, and following through, with calling corporate, the ring finally arrived 8 months, yes EIGHT MONTHS, after from the date it was paid in full. No apology. No acceptance of a mistake, nothing. The error lied in the fact that it was misordered 3 times by the incompetent staff. Further, we were lost to follow up, and heard nothing for months until we chased them down.-Again, avoid this place. The diamonds are of poor quality. The price is jacked up to pay for the silly childs play area, and the cheap machine-brewed coffee as well as the excessive ads on TV.-This is not a jewlery store that cares about your special big day. This is a fraudulent corporation with an incompetent, cold blooded staff.-I am more than happy to share my horrific, nightmare with you. Inquire within. My fiancee bought my engagement ring at Jared because he found Pierce, a salesman, to be friendlier than the salespeople at other stores (though I personally think his friendliness is pretty fake). I could tell that it hadnt been resized very well, but most of the issues were on the bottom of the band, where its not really seen. Next, we went back to the store to buy wedding bands. I wanted just a plain band, but they didnt have anything that was the same shape (mostly flat but slightly rounded) as the band on my engagement ring. They said they could make a custom ring for $450-$475 or so, or there was one diamond band that went with my ring pretty well. I didnt really like the diamond band all that much, but it did match the style of the engagement ring and was actually cheaper than a plain band would have been. My fiance also got a wedding band. Next, we came in for the first six-month inspection on my engagement ring. The guy who looked at my ring informed us that one of the little side stones was loose, so when they replated my ring (white gold which sadly, for me, turns yellow after just three months) they were going to tighten that. My side stones are tension set, but instead of tightening things up, they just put some gold on top of the side stones. Now, the gold on either side of them is not straight and, in some places, just has blobs of gold. The next time we went in, we asked them to please fix the problems they had made tightening things and the fact that the prongs on my ring were crooked. Pierce assured us that he would personally check the ring and make sure it was perfect for us. My fiance went to pick it up and saw that, even though they had completely taken the prongs off and put them back on the ring, they still didnt have them on straight, so he left the ring and picked it up again that evening. When I got to see it, I saw that they did nothing to fix all the blobby gold and that the prongs were still on crooked, but that they had just twisted them, making things even worse. The prongs are not symmetrical, and one of them has a stripe on it from the way it was twisted. Also, where they had soldered on the prongs, there was no rhodium plate, and there were a few places where they had made little gouges in the ring when they adjusted it. We took it back in, along with my half-page list of things that were STILL wrong with it (or new things that were wrong with it), and Pierce got the manager to talk to us. He offered to give us a new setting, which was generous, I guess, but I really wanted to be able to keep the ring my fiance gave me. We agreed to look at the new setting, though. It looked nothing like my ring ever has since I first saw it. There are things about the new ring that I actually like less than my mangled ring, but the real issue is that were concerned that wed run into all the same problems if they tried to resize this new ring down to a 5 and then put my stone (which I found out is actually just too big for this setting) in the new setting. Also, the wedding band I got might not go with the new setting because it actually has a flat band. Oh, another thing is that I thought, Wait--this cant be the same setting because the side stones are so much bigger! Oh, wait, they just dont have gold all over the tops of them. Anyway, when we said that wed really prefer not to go for a whole new setting (with potentially all the same problems), the manager just got mad at us and told us how impossible all the repairs we wanted were. I understand that sometimes you need repairs that will change the ring, but I just dont feel like my ring should look this bad before were even married (and its not like its because weve had a really long engagement--Ive had the ring for just over 8 months). Were going to look into just getting a new setting somewhere else. Wed love to be able to keep this one in some form, but we only have two weeks until our wedding and probably wont be able to get this really repaired before then.
Horrible service they didnt ship my ring in time...and they consistently lied about the status of our ring.... Never buying from here ever again.
Terrible selection and a high-pressure sales environment. It kind of feels like buying a used car, only more depressing.
Terrible experience! They misplaced my order and then made excuses for the situation. The staff and general manager do not seem to care about the customers experience.
