Tiffany did an amazing job with my nails today and showed me a color she thought I would like that I hadn’t picked out. I ended up going with her recommendation and love the color so much! She also did a great job shaping my nails and making sure it was exactly what I wanted.

I’ve been going to Aura for ~5 years and have yet to find a better nail salon! Everyone is kind, thorough, and my nails always look amazing when I leave. I feel like this is a true spa experience each time I have an appointment. The selection of SNS, gel, and polishes is second to none and I will forever keep coming here! I used to see Tina before she moved to the Alexandria location, but adore Helen and several other of the ladies. I highly recommend Aura Day Spa!

I have never done dip nails before Auda, and did not expect it to still look amazing four weeks later! They were quick, professional and nice!

Look for RACHEL! She is amazing, professional and very patient with clients. She does excellent job every time and nails last for long, no cracks, no chipping and I keep my nails for up to 5 weeks!

Creativity -- that is what I find outstanding about Aura Day Spa, as well as the calm atmosphere. I went outside my comfort zone and had Tiffany do a beautiful design on my nails (after seeing her talent on Rachels nails). I received so many comments from others who noticed them. The technicians get along with each other beautifully and support each other totally. I really adore coming to Aura Day Spa.

Wow. Quick. Efficient. Best quality gel manicure I have had. I was a walk in and they were able to accommodate me with a great manicurist who was diligent and kind. Tons of colors from regular manicure to gel to sns!

I used to love this place but now they literally charge extra for every little thing. It’s like flying on spirit airlines. SNS starts at $55 I believe (which is already expensive) then it’s extra to get the manicure with it and extra to get coffin shape instead of plain square or round... they usually do a great job but I think I need to move on to salon that doesn’t nickel and dime me whileI’m trying to relax!

I love this place so much! Everything about it is great, but most importantly they do really exceptional manicures/pedicures. I made the mistake of going somewhere else for an SNS manicure and it came off within 3 days. But at Aura these are going to stay on until your nails grow completely out. No matter who does your nails, s/he is going to be super precise and careful and it always looks great. Other than that - everyone is super professional, the salon is clean and gorgeous, they give you complimentary tea/water/soda, and the prices are comparable to other salons. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

Im a repeat customer and have gotten great service every time. The staff are friendly and courteous, and really take the time to make your nails look great. I would recommend them and the quality of their work.

Ive been coming to Aura for a year now, and the customer service and quality is excellent. They have an extensive polish selection, and Id recommend Nicky or any of the other techs who do a fabulous job. Street parking is usually available.

A wonderful spa. The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. Love the music too. All the nail techs are top of the line and know the latest in nail technology like the sns nail application. Love it. The best by far. The owner cares about the business and you can see it every detail. I keep coming back. Recommend highly.

Aura is my favorite nail salon in all of Arlington! I tried a couple places in Ballston and my SNS would chip, crack, and crumble within two-three weeks. At Aura my SNS manicure lasts a full 4 weeks with no imperfections. On top of that, the salon itself is clean and airy and the staff is friendly. Would recommend trying the ginger tea when you go! If I ever move away from Arlington I will be very sad to leave Aura.

I called to see if Aura Day Spa could give me a polish change and cut my nails down. I was told to come in and was greeted with big smiles at the door. My nail tech was Sarah and I explained to her what I wanted done. Sarah was so sweet and pleasant and suggested another technique that would ensure a great look that would last for a few weeks. I felt very comfortable with her because she was so warm and friendly and did not judge the look of my nails. Sarah also asked if I would like my eyebrows done, mind you they looked as though two caterpillars settled on my face but when she was done, they were amazing! I was impressed that she took her time and transformed me into a new women. If you are looking for a new salon, please give Aura a try and ask for Sarah. All I can say is she is an angel from heaven!

Wonderful service however do not go here for a gel manicure. Gel manicures only last for about two days from here, definitely not worth the price.

I have heard so many great things about this place. The nail tech told me my dipping powder nails would last 3 weeks. They didnt even last a week!!!!! Extremely disappointed. Go somewhere else!!!

My gel manicure chipped after two days and the nail tech cut the top of my toe during by pedicure. I really wanted to like this place. Its bright, clean and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing.

Great job with the SNS powder not at all grainy, came with shoulder massage. Clean and bright. Lena was very nice.

Im a total klutz so when I went to Aura that didnt change- my boyfriend bought me a gift certificate for a Mani/pedi with hopes that this salon would replace my favorite place down in Woodbridge. I hit my wet nails on the desk twice; the woman that provided the service fixed my nails...twice. She was very patient and insistent to do so. Summary: Its a great salon with nice people. They are also flexible. My boyfriend bought the gift cert over the phone while he was in Seattle for work for me to pick up on my birthday 🤗 it worked out really well!

This place has the absolute worst customer service. I’ve never been treated so badly. EVER.I was a regular customer. I used to take my friends and siblings with me all the time (that’s how much I praised this place). That was until my experience yesterday. I took my sister-in-law with me to get our manicures done. As the lady (Nikki) started my gel manicure, I began to have a bad feeling as she wasn’t doing a good job cleaning around my nails. I literally had to point out every missed spot...she even skipped some nails. I was extremely patient but that was just the beginning of a terrible experience.As she was finishing up, she started to cut around the gel until one of the nails started to peel off. I noticed that the gel was peeling off and pointed it out to her. I also pointed out that there was gel on my skin around my nails and if that will be fixed. She said that was the final look but apologized about the nail peeling and blamed it on the quality of the nail polish. Her solution was to peel the gel off (which she did and destroyed my perfectly healthy nails in the process) and reapply another color. I explained that I can’t stay another 40 minutes to have another color reapplied (I have a baby at home).I went home with destroyed nails and cuts around my nails. One finger was bleeding by the time I got home. Today another finger hurts, the entire area around my nail is extremely irritated and starting to swell.I explained all of this to the manager, and they offered absolutely nothing for my inconvenience and troubles. She continued to say “we rectified the problem by removing the gel nail polish” and that “we did not charge you for the service today” as if they did me a favor. I was better off with my healthy nails.I’m extremely disappoinred and was so hurt. I’ve been trying to go there for the past two weeks but I’m a new mom so it was a struggle to leave my baby at home. The fact that I finally got to go and was treated so badly is truly upsetting. I’m beyond disappointed in your service.The manager is EXTREMELY rude and I just cannot believe she is left to deal with customer service issues as she offered no help at all.

I came here to have SNS done and Im really happy with the results. My tech, Tina, was fantastic and did a great job with my nails. Theyre all well shaped and very even from the side, even with tips. I came here once before for SNS and while the mani lasted a full month with only two tips breaking (fixed for free), that tech made my nails look rather bulky. It was only visible to me so I didnt mind too much, but it was done excellently this time.

Ruined my nails. used an electric file on NATUAL nails! my nails are still recovering. I wouldnt waste my money. also very pushy with upgrading your service. i should add they were SNS nails. THEY RUINED MY NAILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went here for the SNS nails, which all the reviews told me were excellent here. And the service was pretty good when I went. But my nail chipped one day later, so I went back and they fixed it free of charge. But now I’m just starting my third week with the nails and already, two more have chipped. I think my nails and the SNS was way over filed, which made them prone to breaking. Good salon, but definitely won’t be returning for SNS.

Probably the worst nail salon I have ever been to. They did my nails horribly and the man at the front desk even admitted that they looked bad. I had to go back the next day to get them fixed. And a week after having them done the acrylic nails started to fall off. Such a waste of my money. I will not be going back to this place ever again.

Im literally just leaving this place. I got a spa pedicure that wasnt even as good as a basic/classic pedicure. The young lady who did my pedi was so delicate, barely using the cuticle nippers and went over my feet with the exfoliator in all of 10 seconds per foot. (I still have nail discomfort around one of my big toes at the cuticle, which is never the case after leaving from a pedi with a nail clipping.) In addition, there as so much emphasis on my calves. I was confused as to what was happening. Im giving 2 stars because it was a decent polish job, and I tipped $5 simply for that reason. Ill probably have to go to another salon sooner than necessary to get a proper pedicure. Save your money. Go elsewhere for the pedi experience youre looking for and deserve for the cost.

Ive been going to this salon for about 6 months now. Most of the time I am very satisfied with my SNS. Some technicians are better than others but usually my nails stay on at least 2 weeks. S/O to Sam. She rocks.Today, I went to have my SNS refilled and I was brought to tears. My technician used a knife looking file to slip underneath my SNS and rip it off. In the extremely painful process, she also ripped off much of my nails leaving them very thin and broken.The manager saw this happen and came over to tell her to stop using that tool. I thought that would resolve the problem but instead she kept doing the same thing. I finally had to pull my hand away and ask the front desk to get me a new technician. Im writing this about 5 hours after my appointment and my nails on that hand that she destroyed STILL burn. Even though I was given a new technician, at the end I was offered a measly 10% discount (saving me $5) after spending $55 with tip.My experience was painful and traumatizing and I do not think that management handled this situation correctly. Even though I loved this place, the thought of having that same technician again might prevent me from returning..Beware of your technician.
