I spoke to a lady who got my information down I had no keys to car(fwd) and she was great. I get a call from tow truck driver asked if I had keys to see if I am able to push it out. Once arrival he told me he will pull it out for him to lift. Remind you its a front wheel drive, also I had to record or take pics to show proof to my employer reason why I was not able to come in to work. The driver got up set told me not to record and all in all cancel my tow.

Ive had a LOT of tows over the past few years due to a few lemon vehicles, and let me say that Nelsons was probably the most pleasant tow experience Ive ever had. Excellent experience and would definitely use them again, which Ive never said about any tow company before!!My oversize vehicle broke down on the freeway in the middle of the night and AAA and Geico said they couldnt find anyone to help me :O I started calling tow companies on my own and Nelsons answered right away even though it was 1AM.Nelson himself came and picked me up. He was extremely careful loading and unloading my vehicle, which is very large and requires skates during loading to avoid scraping the pavement when it tilts. I was very impressed with how carefully he treated my vehicle as many tow truck drivers dont bother, scrape it up, and need to be asked multiple times and directed while using the skates.I was having a really awful night being stuck on the freeway and Nelson was so so kind and really helped make me feel better. He towed us about 40 miles.I few days later I called to request an invoice so I can bill it to my insurance company on my own, and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly and emailed me a scan of the invoice right away.Excellent experience and would definitely use them again, which Ive never said about any tow company before!!

Nelson was very kind, came before his quote time, took me exactly where I needed to go and was able to briefly tell me what was wrong with my car. Highly recommended!

They were great! They were cheaper than anyone else and since I was paying out of pocket rather than through insurance they cut the price even more. They had great communication. I got to talk directly with one of the drivers and were patient and understanding and super nice. Although I hope I dont need a tow again I know who Ill use.

My truck broke down in Fairfield Ca and I needed it towed to Vallejo Ca. After calling almost all of the tow companies in Fairfield and Vallejo and they were all asking for anywhere from 120-200. Most wanted about 175. Well we broke down and called Nelson towing in Vallejo. My husband knows the owner and had been asked by the owner to come to work for him a few months prior and one of my husbands long time friends works for this company also. But anyways after explaining our situation and what we could afford the owner Nelson said he would do it for 100 bucks. He said he was a little busy and it would be a couple hours which we understood and we were ok with it. Upon waiting more than 3 hours for Nelson to call back and let us know he was ready we decide to call him back to see if he might be available at that time. He said he was still out on a tow. So my husband decides to call the company number to see if his friend was available to tow. The lady who answered the phone said that it would cost 150 dollars. When my husband said that Nelson agreed on the 100 she informed my husband that Nelson was right there and didnt say anything to her about giving us a discount. Well we had already had to leave the truck parked in parking lot in Fairfield over night because we didnt have the money that night and we live in Vallejo which is about 15 miles from Fairfield. Well we didnt want to take the chance of leaving it parked over night again my husband decided to go down and talk to Nelson in person. He told him that we need to pay the 100 before he went to tow the vehicle. My husband left and went to the bank and got the 100 dollars which only took about 20 mins. Well when he got back to pay Nelson he was informed by Nelson he had just taken on 2 more tows and we would have to wait until he was done with them. And Nelson had a nasty attitude when speaking to my husband. Nelson does not know how to run a business and cant get or keep employees working for him. But thank god my husbands friend who still works for Nelson driving the flatbed every now and then agreed to do the tow for the 100 dollars. His friend Earnest came and picked up my husband and gave him a ride with him to pick up the flat bed to go out to Fairfield to tow the vehicle. I mean Earnest was there in less than 5 mins to pick up my husband. I dont suggest ever using Nelson tow company unless you ask for Earnest to be your driver. Nelson is rude and takes to long to get to the call and had no idea really what he is doing. Earenst is the only one I would trust to tow your vehicle and not damage it. And pay him the money not Nelson. Nelson also owns the Valero gas station in Vallejo. The gas is about average price but he charges outrageous amount for the food products he sells. I mean who charges 1.25 for a 6 pack of hostess doughnuts. Prices are way over the top. Nelson is rude to his customers and all of a sudden for some reason he decided to close the restrooms that were open to customers at one time. I mean not even to paying customers. He is gonna lose a lot of business. He lets people solicited his customers right out side the door and some of them get aggressive. I am sorry for the rant of his business but I dont want anyone to waste there money with this man. Take your hard earned money to someone who wont take all your money and wont be rude to you. But if you need a tow and you cant find anyone who will do it for a cheaper price than Nelson please ask for Earnest Gordon. He is a good guy and knows what he is doing and will have you home in no time. Nelson sucks.

Charged an $50 for their own mistake. He couldnt located us and didnt bother to call the number provided then before pickup they were informed that the destination was further and agreed the price would stay at $100 and at the end changed and gave the excuse that it would be an additonal $50 because of the further destination and because driver was sent to a futher location to pick up, which was a lie. The guy was rude and not professional on the phone when i wanted an explanation. Ended up paying $150. Will never use again. Only used them because of their good rating. Believe the gentlemen was named Jason, i could be wrong.

These guys drive very recklessly. You would think they would cause accidents after seeing what they can do to cars. Dont trust them.

Had this company requested via my insurance. Had waited almost an hour and when I called them they argued with me and said they wouldn’t come unless they knew how they would get paid. Very rude and unprofessional.
