I was searching for apartments and came across this place. I was instantly greeted with smiles and warm vibes first walking into the office. Timothy is very professional and very helpful. He was patient with me as I asked many questions. I will definitely be submitting my application for these apartments! The grounds are very clean. The apartment has a lot of nice amenities which is nice. I definitely recommend this apartments.

I have lived here almost 2 years now. I would never ever recommend moving here. The new management are slum lords. They have let this place turn into one. The amenities they brag about on their website is never available. Pool and hot tub closes several times a month and is never maintained properly. If you need something fixed it takes weeks to get done. They schedule the repairs and never show up nor so they call to cancel. The appliances are old and break down frequently. They dont water the landscape so everything is dying. Trash is always blowing around in the complex. The maintenance men like to park in your paid for covered parking spot when you leave for a few minutes to run errands. Then you have to find them to make them move. They raised the rent and did nothing to justify the rent increase. No one wants to live here since this management took over. They are the worst! Do not move here unless you want to pay too much for their so called luxury apartment homes.

****BEWARE - NEW MANAGEMENT. I don’t know if any one else is starting to have problems with the new management, or maintenance. We have lived here for almost 5 years and have never had such a bad experience. We made a maintenance request to fix our AC yesterday because it was not working and had the maintenance guy come to fix it, he said nothing was wrong with it because it was still slightly blowing air, not to mention how completely rude he was. We come home today and the AC completely won’t turn on and our apartment is at 113 degrees, not to mention there is a excessive heat warning for the entire week and which I’ve had my dog inside all day with the apartment being over 100 degrees. I had to call maintenance again and was told they would be over in an hour. The maintenance guy showed up and is now saying the AC is not working because the motor went out and that he knew it was going out but never told us. We spoke to the manager of the apartment complex and she was completely unprofessional and rude, very aggressive, kept over talking me, wouldn’t let me finish anything I was trying to explain to her and was completely demeaning and was saying it was our fault we didn’t put in a maintenance request last night if we thought it was still not fixed even know the maintenance guy said there was nothing wrong with it. She never apologized once and escalated everything very quickly. They said that they could not fix it until tomorrow and they don’t know when the part would come in. So now we are stuck in our apartment with no AC in over 100 degree weather, when “there was nothing wrong with our AC yesterday”. ALSO be aware that all previous positive reviews were BEFORE the new management. The new manager is Dolores. A lot of the residents who have lived here prior have already been complaining about awful experiences they’ve recently had with Dolores.

Absolute trash new management, no communication and a lot of excuses, and issues with getting maintenance out to fix the leaking AC issues. Fighting about a no working AC “not being broken” - things have gone downhill since Delores became management and I don’t see it getting better. Don’t lease here if you have the chance for somewhere worth your money and well-being.

Ive lived here for years, and I havent had a single complaint. There was an issue with my A/C unit, in the summer, and the morning after I submitted the ticket, they had someone out to fix it. Youre also a five minute drive away from some really great places to eat, and the shopping Ive had to do has all been conveniently close. Never more than 10 minutes, barring exceptionally bad traffic.

A month in, and everything has been positive. The place was all clean when we moved in. Had a problem with the AC leaking for a few weeks (condensation tube) but they had it repaired as soon as they got the replacement part. You do hear the people living upstairs walking and could get loud at times. Its an apartment after all. Better that than carrying our groceries, 5gallon water containers up the stairs all the time.Everyone working here has been very professional and accommodating. The neighbors, friendly and always a smile on their faces. Our first time moving to a city, and were glad we chose this place as our home. Shout out to Wil for assisting us with everything.

I recommend this complex to others. We toured the complex several times, considering several apartments . Each of my visits there either in my car or bike, was positive. It’s very well kept and very quiet. No trash or littering anywhere. The people I encountered living there were friendly and the people working there are extremely professional and nice. The location is prime, the complex is set back off of the busy roads, and it’s literally built around a wash, making it a very peaceful and quiet place to live. It’s also exactly one mile to the CDO River Path, making it a perfect place for walkers/runners/cyclists. There are numerous shopping/restaurants near by, including the Foothills Mall. Wish we could have moved here, but they didn’t have an apt the size we needed!

If you live on bottom floor, expect to hear people above you. Thin floors and can be loud at times. The office people are polite and helpful. Maintainence fellas keep the grounds neat. Rent is reasonable but my appliances are dated and no microwave. My carpets were not new when I moved in. Most people living here are friendly.

My wife and I have lived here a little under 2 years, and I cannot express how happy we are that we picked this place as our last apartment complex we would stay at before buying our first home... The price might be a bit high, but totally worth it.. every staff member, from maintenance all the way to the community director, they are all professional and polite, and will work to the best of their abilities to resolve whatever issue you might have. The community is well maintained.. Everyone that lives here are also very nice, never had any of the typical issues youd have at your classic apartment complex (excessive noise, poor sanitation, etc.)... The staff do a great job of making you feel at home by holding community events such as breakfasts every Friday morning, and a theme party of some sort once a month... If you are able to afford staying here, it is totally worth it. Super safe, comfortable, homey.

We have lived here for 5 years. When I moved in here, It really felt like I was home. The Staff is amazing, every one of them. They are always willing to help you in any way. Every time we have a Maintenance issue we call and it is fixed immediately. They are professional, courteous, and they have the best Customer Service. Our apartment is roomy and beautiful, with high ceilings and accent wall, it is so easy to decorate and enjoy. Anytime we have ever had a problem, the staff has helped us 100%. I have many friends in the area that live in other apartment complexes and one of my friends had a leak in her apartment and took them 2 months to fix. There are many other horror stories such as this at other apartment complexes, and I have told my friends to move here. Tierra Vida Apartments will be your home too. I love it here!

My family and I have lived here now for 2yrs! The office staff, Bradley, Will, Brandy, and Maggie and the maintenance crew Raphael, and Danny are always quick to take care of business. Maintained propane BBQ grills through out the complex aid in a more homely feel. Everyone here is also very friendly, so it truly feels like coming home each day!

I absolutely loved living at Tierra Vida and I was sad to leave. I lived there for about two years in a one bedroom and then for another two years in a two bedroom. The community was super calm and quite and I always felt comfortable. The grounds were always well maintained and clean. The maintenance staff responded super fast and worked quickly to repair any of my minor work orders. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful, they even served breakfast to residents on Fridays. If I ever move out of my home and need an apartment again I would be moving back to Tierra Vida for sure. I recommend Tierra Vida to everyone.

Tierra Vida is an amazing place to live. I am a long time resident. This is a very nice, slightly upscale part of Tucson with plenty of shopping and entertainment nearby. The staff here is first-class and always does a great job. This is a quiet place to live and has all the amenities a resident could want. I am very happy I live here. Moving here was one of the best decisions I have ever made. If you move here, I believe you would say the same thing.

I love the location of this property. Very clean all the time. Maintenance always goes above and beyond anything I ask and even jumped my car for me a few times. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. Ive lived here for 1 year and love it. I have 3 kids very young and love looking at wildlife. We have never seen any wild pigs. But birds, and bunnys are everywhere. Nice grass patches are also located around the complex. My kids are very safe and ride there bikes though out and have so much fun. I love taking my kids to the free breakfast on Fridays. Will is amazing he always gives my kids suckers when we come in. I highly recommend this property!!!

Ive recently moved into Tierra Vida and couldnt be happier. The office staff (Will and Bradley) were amazing in helping me get things set up and arranged since I was moving in from out of town. The apartments themselves are super quiet and I rarely hear a peep from my neighbors. My appliances are up to date (although I would have loved a bedroom ceiling fan) and the apartment was in great condition upon move in.My only complaint is that in the one bedroom storage is a commodity. Theres no coat closet so things like vacuums and other items are relegated to the bedroom closet (the only closet).

Bradley & Will are amazing!! I love the community....quiet, clean and a wonderful walking path. I live close to a grassy area so I get to see the bunnies munching on the grass near sunset 😃 I have lived at Tierra Vida for about 5 years and have tried living at a different community but I had to come back! I missed my wonderful home. It’s close to numerous restaurants and grocery stores....Alberton’s WalMart, Trader Joe’s, and Sprouts. The staff really cares about me and the Friday breakfast is wonderful. Overall it’s a great place to call home.

The office staff is very friendly and eager to help. The few times we needed work done, it was completed that day and done right the first time. The apartments are really nice, the neighbors were wonderful. The only downside is the lack of parking in the back of the complex, though it was a minor inconvenience. If you are looking for a home on the Northwest side, you should start and finish here.

I absolutely LOVE living here at Tierra Vida! I moved here exactly four weeks ago, and I love everything about my one-bedroom apartment. This place is golden, largely because of its geography, built around an arroyo/wash. The views and walking trails are wonderful. The vinyl wood flooring is fabulous! It cleans so easily, and much warmer than tile. And really beautiful with every color of wood grain. All my furnishings look all the richer because of it.I really love the light wood grain color of the cupboards in bathroom and kitchen. And Im thrilled about the kitchen countertops - a soft taupe - is it formica? Whatever, its warm, and forgiving and Not Marble! Praise God! I so dislike the popular but harsh, cold tiles and marbles and stainless steel these days. Everything breaks on it, sounds echo, and its so hard on the feet and legs and hands. The materials used in this apartment are all warm and inviting and comforting. Im so grateful for these good choices made, again, by some genius.Im thrilled to finally have my own washer and dryer in the kitchen. Super handy, and I draped a lovely floral cloth over it so it looks great. The W&D may look small, but they hold a normal load for me. Ive never had a washer and dryer that operated so quickly. Amazing! The high ceilings and big living room make the place feel so very spacious. I have an art gallery on my walls, and the space created makes every piece all the more beautiful. If youre considering this place and youre downsizing, you may feel like you cant quite breathe in a place that only has one sliding glass door and one window. But these genius planners made it such that it doesnt feel closed in at all. I put a large mirror over my kitchen sink and on the far kitchen wall, which makes a big difference. The mirror on the bedroom closet door adds a lot of space and light. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the management and maintenance staff are excellent, to a person: Bradley, Will, Brandy, Rafael & Danny! I offer this glowing review of them without reservation. They attend to the smallest of maintenance requests within hours and with genuine care and quality work. I cannot say enough about their kindness and integrity.I am a highly educated, critical, high maintenance, clean, picky, artistic older woman. Ive lived in over 35 homes in my life, growing up as the daughter of a high-ranking military officer. Ive been spoiled by high standards, though most of my life Ive been a single mother, working hard to pay the bills. But I know and appreciate quality and try to bring it wherever I live. I know how to be flexible and make the best of what Im given. So most of the time Ive learned to live with a good bit of compromise, given my limited income. That has been true all the more here in Tucson this past year, after leaving a thriving piano studio in Texas to move here near my aging parents and start all over. All to say, this is why living here this past month is such a huge and rather surprising blessing. God alone caused me to stumble on this treasure of a place -- God, and the kind perseverance of Brandy and Will.I may be ready to say that this is my favorite home Ive ever lived in. Youve no idea how amazing that statement is. But perhaps my many words here will lend credibility to my very positive review.

All down hill once you move in! This has been the worst experience I’ve had with an apartment complex! The staff is friendly and that is as good as it gets. Parking is a constant hassle, you will have to park VERY far unless you are a 1 car household. For someone like myself who works late, I felt extremely unsafe walking from whatever place I was able to get parking to my unit not because of the timebut because there are packs of javelinas roaming freely everywhere! I was chased by 5 on one occasion and they lived right by our fence so they charged at us every time we passed by to get to our car.Although they call themselves “luxury” they are far from it. The walls are paper thin. You can hear your neighbors at all hours of the night & if you complain, GOOD LUCK! they will simply let you know, that is a normal level of noise. You are expected to pay for “upgrades” which seem like necessities such as a microwave. If and when you move out, expect to pay them! I have never had to pay since I leave my apartments clean and well taken care of, with the exception of normal wear and tear on carpets. We left the place spotless other than “3 small spots” on the carpet which where noted on the walk through we did with their staff member. Once we had moved out they immediately called to let us know our move out total was incorrect & that water had not been included in our billing and therefore we would not only NOT get our deposit back but owe them money. What upsets me the most about this is that I called on the 1st to make sure that was out final balance, Niki confirmed over the phone with me. They even had 17 days to adjust any mistake but waited until 2 days after we moved to send us a bill notifying us we not get our deposit and that we owed them money. Of course they denied the remembering my call and because it wasn’t documented there is no way we can prove otherwise even though I said I would show them my phone record.Suffice to say our experience living there was awful. I am just happy to be done with them and that I never have to deal with them again!

Renter beware!!!!! This has been the worst experience I’ve had with an apartment complex!!!!Positive:+At Tierra Vida Luxury Apartments the majority of the staff is friendly.+Complementary breakfast once a month in the office.Negative:- Parking is a constant hassle, you will have to park VERY far from your unit unless you are a 1 car household.-Wild animals roaming the complex at all hours (javelinas that will chase you and your pet!) The complex has no fence in the back and is open desert which means that javelinas and other wild animals will roam around your apt. They refuse to fence the back of the apt complex!-Although they call themselves “luxury” they are far from it. Carpers are old, walls are paper thin (you can hear your neighbors flush the toilet), old and yellow-ish blinds, squeaky floors and old washer and dryer. Also beware if you complain about the noise level they will let your neighbor know that it was you that complained about them.-You are expected to pay for “upgrades” such as lighting, above the stove microwave, sink faucet and ceiling fans with lighting.-When you move out, expect to pay them! I have never had to pay and have always received the majority of my security deposit back since I leave my apartments clean and well taken care of, with the exception of normal wear and tear on carpets. We left the place spotless other than “3 small spots” on the carpet which where noted on the walk through we did with their staff member. Once we had moved out they immediately called to let us know our move out total was incorrect & that water had not been included in our billing and therefore we would not only NOT get our deposit back but owe them money. The apartments are nice and affordable but I was a little upset to know after we moved out .. that I felt like the office screwed us over with cleaning prices.. like the bathroom .. it took them three hours to clean it.. like really people I cleanned it before from top to bottom and the edges and frames .. so theres no way it took them three hours.. I felt like the pool was closed at least once a week for some technical problems. I felt like some of the works were too nosey... I had a few times someone park in my parking spot.. its a very quite apartment complex.. but I think you could find a one bedroom house for cheaper than what we paid.. and we paid more cuz we were facing the mountain .. which is not fair since we couldnt even see the mountain due to a tree

Never anywhere to park there was always someone in my spot which was three buildings away! And now that we have moved out they want to charge an extra$385 on top of my $400 deposit for what I dont know I left that place clean! Oh lets not forget the water leak that caused mold and the cabinet in the bathroom was completely warped they had to urgency to fix it or replace it so we lived with the mold and water damage for the last two months.
