Lantana apartments! What a wonderful neighborhood to live in. I lived there for 5 years and I never complained about it at all! I love everything about it starting from the staff and the maintenance faculties ending at the pool and the basketball area. I still remember the maintenance faculties as I’m looking at them at the moment ‘( how kind, elegant, respectful and friendly they were/are. They always great people with a smile in there faces no matter what the time and weather is. I had a lot of good memories there and I’ll always remember it as the best place to live at in Tucson. Thank you all
I love it here. The staff is really nice, maintence always says hi no matter what theyre doing or who theyre talking to. Been here for almost 2 years & havent had any issues with other people or hardly any issues with our apartment. Only thing we gotta still do is update our tile because it started to lift. Also, are kids allowed in the gym if theyre strapped in a stroller & in the stroller strapped at all times? One thing I always wanted to verify .
Great experience!! I really loved living here the office staff and maintenance are very polite. Lantana is a gated community with security guard at night, any suspicious activity we are able to call at any time. This was a plus for me, as it made me feel safe and secured. I see other comments complaining about noise, I mean they are apartments not brick walls and in comparison to other apartments noise is moderate I’ve had a lot worse!! My only con would be there laundry room, I wish they had more machines available. Overall, it’s a peaceful community with friendly people I never had any issues.
DON’T STAY HERE. Save yourself the stress and trouble of dealing with the incompetence of staff and management. They do not care about anything but taking your money. We had given notice to vacate and quoted an amount and still were charged rent and then told they couldn’t refund the money. Daniel Acosta is rude with zero customer service. From the very beginning of dealing with all of them is has been an absolute night mare. Our apartment was dirty we had to put in several tickets please see photos below. It seems like they rushed the preparation of the apartment despite us moving in Novemeber and them being notified since July. And they don’t communicate with each other. Awful place to live if I could give a zero star review I would.
I was really happy with everything about this apartment complex. Of all the places I have lived Lantana was by far my favorite. Staff was very helpful and quiet area. I was sad to leave my apartment, only moved cause I got a house.
The two ladies working at the front desk are so nice and so helpful..the main problem I was having is you can hear everything your neighbors are doing just really no privacy.. Also the buildings a just very old.. When you speak to the person in charge of the whole place he really doesn’t care.. cool temp place for a college student but that’s it.
Me and my fiance lived here from 2016-17 and Shelby was such a huge help. The apartments were nice and well kept. Gated place and had security that would patrol. Only issue was noisy people, but the same can be said about everywhere else.
Perfect and Peaceful!!
All they care about is making sure people are staying in the apts.. and they don’t care for the quality of your living.. do not stay here.
The office staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment complex itself is very clean, theres greenery everywhere, trees, grass, flowers. I love that. When we first moved in, our apartment had new vinyl, carpet and a bath tub replacement put in before we moved in, it delayed our move in date by a day but it was worth it. We love it here. The pool and hot tub is very clean. Every resident Ive come across is very nice, some have been very helpful too. There arent any parties or anything like that, like the other reviewer said. The only noise we hear is from the ambulance sirens headed to st marys. Its a great place, lots of stores nearby and its very welcoming and safe. :) hope this helps anyone considering this place.
Sweet friendly staff, wonderful metience care, and very well kept apartments. Staff is always extremely helpful as well. I definitely recommend this place.
Ive lived here for about a year as a graduate student at the U of A. While there are cheaper places to live in Tucson, I dont think you will find a better deal when it comes to the quality of the apartment and the grounds. The staff has always been polite and helpful and all of my maintenance requests have been fulfilled in a timely manner. If I did have problems with e.g. roaches on move-in (mentioned below) I know that they would fix it.The neighborhood is more urban than some of the places east of campus, which mainly means noise from traffic on St Marys Rd, the interstate, and the train. Its a city. Solution: wear earplugs at night. Skip the Food City across the street unless you dont have a car; the Safeway a bit further west is much nicer. If you are a student you will want a bike or car, as it is 3 miles to campus. Finally, Ive had minor noise issues with my neighbors but it has never been bad enough to file a complaint. This can be an issue anywhere. There are plenty of pets but cleanliness is rarely a problem.
Great lease prices if youre living with a yearly lease for college students who are going to either Pima or University of Arizona.Very professional and friendly staff.Apartment area itself is clean and constantly improving with new amenities such as new a package storage service.
We weren’t able to see the actual apartment that they gave us until we were given the keys, the walls are all patched the carpet had red stains that look like blood, the ceiling in the bedroom look there was a huge water leak and they just painted over it. We haven’t been able to sleep there yet because of the very very bad smell. Me and my wife really regret it. I’m very sure that for 640 dlls a month you could find much better places in Tucson.
It looks all pretty and peaceful, but dont be fooled, I got robbed there and Management did NOTHING!!! The police told us that 04 other apartments were robbed so be aware. On top of that, when we needed to move (obviously because we were scared to stay there) they wanted to charge us $2000 to move out, but wait thats not all, now they are charging us $60 more for a broken blind that was already like that when I moved in, the Manager is VERY RUDE, he yelled at me over the phone for all of this.
Ive been here for a little more than a year now, cant say Ive had any issues, Lantana apartments is very close to grocery stores and many fast food/ sit down restaurants, I love the plants and nature that fills the apartment, makes it much a cooler temperature from time to time. Staff is awesome, residents here have been pleasant, maintenance is always fast and gets the job done, only real issue is, Furrs restaurant which is right next door, they have a giant dumpster that will sometimes fill the air around it (including the apartments) with the most fowl air Ive ever smelt, something has to be done about that, other than that, no complaints, also I would and have recommended this place to many friends!UPDATE: Furrs restaurant closed down, smell is gone
Overall nice place to live near the U of A. Manager is friendly and helpful in requesting work orders/getting packages however other staff seems bothered and too busy when asked questions. I referred a friend to live here but was turned off by the rudeness and demeanor of Claudia. Overall, nice place to live if you can get over the occasional eye glares from staff when entering the office.
Terrible experience dealing with this complex. I applied and added my emotional support dog to my application (doctor recommended to help treat my manic depression and anxiety) (also licensed and certified) usually not a big deal for places Ive lived as emotional support pets are protected under equal housing opportunity law, they played around with me for 3 weeks telling me I needed this that and the other from my doctor as if he can see me on demand! I had to make 2 appointments to see my doctor which took time obviously. After all the hassle I went throught to even complete this application they said it got denied because my therapy pet is not deemed necessary This is ILLEGAL! LOOK IT UP! Lucky that Im not in a financial place to be able to get a lawyer and fight this and they can be punished for discriminating against a disability. Not all disabilities are physical! and even better when I got the returned check for $150 of my holding fee, it said my application was cancelled. So maybe they lied to me and said I was denied. I wouldnt doubt it. Glad I didnt get approved and move in, I bet management does a lot more thats wrong to its residents.
I’ve been here for 4 years and I love everything about my complex, including staff! Did the office number change? I can’t get through right now.
Just moved in the apartment is spacious and came with new appliances, new carpet, and new flooring.Very attractive. On the flip side the kitchen cabinets are absolutely disgusting they infested with roaches. I do want to even put anything in there. The dish washer is full of water prior to me moving in. Loud you can here all the traffic going by at all hours of the night. Plus the lady never gave me a copy of the lease. She said oh its in your file I have no idea who to call. This sucks cannot wait to move!
The place is nice and gated. Also, it is not far away from uofa and Pima college
The staff is ok.. but the community is kinda sketchy.. .. and tbh the noise level is crazy loud... did not like that at all..
Moving the grounds look beautiful the Apts I see look great. I will be attending US of A in the fall. The pool looks great.
I love this place. The office staff is super friendly and approachable. Its right next to a bunch of food places and only a block from a Safeway and a 24 hr Walgreens. Theyre also pet friendly and make a point to ensure that everyone takes responsibility for the cleanliness and behavior of their pets. My dog loves it too and there are plenty of areas to walk him in. AND its only 7 minutes ish to U of A! I 100% prefer Lantana to one of those over priced resort style party apartment complexes. Well definitely be renewing our lease :)
This place was awful. So noisy and no peace of mind. Do not get a place here.. how can you study if you hear your neighbors getting it on all night.
So wanna live there the inside is great
Very nice, quiet, clean and close to shopping and u of a..
Me and my boyfriend have been here almost 2 years and its wonderful. Its pet friendly and management is so nice:) The apartaments are so clean and the pool is just amazing. It is extremely peaceful and so close to pima west and the U of A. I love the gates Espically because you need a code to get in makes me feel extra safe. The only thing that I wish they can change is the Gym hourse it is not a 24 hour gym and I Espically like to work out early in the mornings. Apart from that its perfect:)
Good place to live in, good value and quint. it has shuttle to the university bot less frequently and far from public transportation
Amazing and safe complex, Amazing property manager and his staff is decent.
Great plan good time good people save
Worst place to live ever did not try to work with me when i needed help would not recomend to none of my friends or not my friends girl in front was so rude did not care to help pay a little extra go across the street much more friendly
Best place I have ever lived at.

I have lived in Lantana for several years, and everything was going very well ... last month the water was entering through an outlet, it ruined food I had in the furniture, among what I remember were 2 bags of maseca, 2 boxes of oatmeal in individual envelopes, napkins, pasta to make lasagna, butler paper and I do not remember what else, all this happened in July, we notified them in the administration and they did nothing, the same day the same thing happened again and we took video, they arrived to check and all they did was put a machine to dry all the furniture, that device went on 24 hours for an exact week, then what they did was repair your furniture, when it was time to pay August, I asked if I would be reimbursed what was spoiled and what was consumed additionally in electricity and they said yes, but that it would be for the next month, the month passed and now that I want an answer, it turns out that the manager of the apartments qu Do you want me to give you an invoice of everything that broke down ... in which head it is possible that I keep invoices where I made purchases more than two months ago? I think I am not the only one who buys his food for storage and eat it little by little. It is not right for them to do this ...! We are not to blame that the water has gotten into our apartment and will ruin our food.I have lived in Lantana for several years, and everything was going very well ... last month the water was entering through an outlet, it ruined food I had in the furniture, among what I remember were 2 bags of maseca, 2 boxes of oatmeal in individual envelopes, napkins, pasta to make lasagna, butler paper and I do not remember what else, all this happened in July, we notified them in the administration and they did nothing, on the second day the same thing happened again and we took video, they arrived to check and all they did was put a machine to dry all the furniture, that device went on 24 hours for an exact week, then what they did was repair your furniture, when it was time to pay August, I asked if I would be reimbursed what was spoiled and what was consumed additionally in electricity and they said yes, but that it would be for the next month, the month passed and now that I want an answer, it turns out that the manager of the apartments qu Do you want me to give you an invo ice of everything that broke down ... in which head it is possible that I keep invoices where I made purchases more than two months ago?
