I applied for an apartment about a month ago. They requested a 140.00 dollars for admin fees to start the application process. Which they told me 100.00 would be refunded to me if I didn’t qualify. While I didn’t qualify and they cashed the 100.00 and said I would be refunded in 3 to 5 days. Is been close to 3 weeks with no refund. Now I’m dealing with the company who owns this property to try and get my money back. Bad very bad business practices. They basically rip off money with applicants. Beware when applying here for an apartment cause they are thieves and flat out lie about being refunded.
I had to give it a one star but doesnt even deserve one.. nothing was ever fixed yet they would say it was, cars get broken into and damaged all the time, they give excuses after excuse when. Needing to fix something, gates are constantly unable to close therfore making it unsafe for kids and personal property. They never answers calls, if they do its miracle! So many other issues to much to add here.
I have been living here for six years ! Each year gets worse and worse honestly! Now the office is closed on weekends which means so is maintenance who is not opening the laundry room! Very frustrating to live in a place where your rent is too high, too many extra ultities to pay after you have already signed a lease and now we cant do our laundry on the weekends!
Arturo is a professional maintenance man he always answers all my questions I ask. makes me feel way better about the situation. and i feel comfortable to know its him going in my house to do the work when I am not there. thanks casa
Bad unsecured area, too much trash on the property, Rent too expensive, and does not include extra! price tenants pay exterior for area lighting, water, trash, and services on a separate bill. on top of apartment electric bill. unhappy worried tenants.
When I moved into the apartment complex, I didnt know anything about the Tucson area, or this area in general. This apartment complex is right next to a homeless shelter, and in many cases I have found random people in the complex that clearly did not belong here. The A/C in my apartment went out, and it took the management company three days to fix it, and I ended up having to buy my own because it was so hot that it was impossible to be in my own apartment. The apartment complex requires that all packages be left at the front desk, and many times my packages were left by delivery drivers in front of other apartments in the same complex, because there are four apartment complexes inside this one, and they all have the same unit numbers, just on different sides of the street. Living in the apartment complex was nice, except when you could hear the neighbors through the walls, screaming at the top of their lungs, or blasting music with very loud base vibrating your walls at all hours of the day or night. Complaining to the apartment complex management about the lack of respect from surrounding neighbors doesnt improve the situation, and the management company is more concerned with making a profit off of its tenants then making sure the complex has security for its tenants, or has considerate people moving in around you. All in all, I would be very careful about moving here. Its very possible your apartment would be next to a neighbor who plays very loud music at all hours of the night, and the management company will lie to you just to get you in the door. If you try to break your lease, even if they are at fault, you will have to pay a $1000 fine just to get out it. Seriously, think twice about moving here.
Thieves .Applied for an apartment, was charged some 100$ “service fee” which I was told would be refunded if I didn’t rent there.I decided not to rent there as they couldn’t even mastermind one phone call to my previous landlordSo the 100$ “service fee” ?Well, they kept it.I found another place where they weren’t going to price gouge me an extra 50$ per month for the privilege of paying a 6 month lease in advance.Taking advantage of and stealing from people who are struggling during a nationwide pandemic certainly isn’t Christian, in fact, it’s downright SATANIC.The world doesn’t need more shady, thieving, crooked businesses like this one, it needs fewer.Next stop Better Business Bureau and Local Tucson news stations.
Was promised an apt, went to move in, apt was roach infested, was told before move in it was a water bug problem, the office lacks communication, the property as a hold has major drug issues, called corporate was told a Regional Manager would get back to me as of today I still have not received a call from Megan, its been 2 weeks so far.
New management is a joke. Place is still a nightmare. More than just multiple murders since moving a friend in 5 years ago. Non stop crime of all kinds occurs here. Dont leave anything outside your door if you live here. Dont walk alone. Rent increase with zero tenant support or assistance/up keep and maintenance is always infuriating and wrong. Police should be present on property at all time. Management company should be investigated. I feel bad for anyone living in this apartment complex.
Moving in has been very easy! We looked at lots of apartments but nobody could beat their price and customer service! Roselynn is amazing! We are enjoying our new home already!
The community is clean and very quiet. Living here has been great! The ladies at the office are very helpful. Roselynn always has a smile and is ready to help!
They charge me $140 just to apply
I love it here! The community is very clean and quite. Roselynn has been very helpful and is always available. JoAnna the new manager is very nice as well. I am very happy to be part of this community
Rose is amazing!! She took care of everything for us. Shes so helpful and took the time to explain the process. Need to hire more people like her, she deserves a raise!!!
I just recently move to Tucson from Washington State and was looking for something nice and affordable. With Casa Del Coronado I happen to get both! My Studio apartment is more than enough room and the property alone is kept very clean. The gals in the front office have been nothing but great and incredibly helpful!
Weve lived here for 4 months now and have been happy with our stay here. The management is very friends, helpful, and attentive to the needs of the residents. Maintenance comes out to fix anything the same day. I have very friendly, quiet neighbors. The apartment was completely new inside when we moved in. I recommend this apartment community!
My family and I are moving into a great 2 bedroom apartment here at Casa on August 1st. I must say that the staff here, especially our leasing agent Martha Kane, have been very professional, courteous, accommodating and extremely helpful. Our situation has been somewhat unique and has required a lot of extra work for Martha however she has worked tirelessly and efficiently. I would say she has probably gone above and beyond what is required and we are very grateful to her. Coming from Los Angeles I am not used to the level of service I have received from Casa Del Coronado Apartments and Martha especially when it comes to dealing with a property management company. The experience has been painless. Stay tuned for another review of our actual living experience at Casa. Judging from all of the evidence and from what other tenants have told me, (yes I have asked around), I am confident of a good experience. Thanks again Martha.
I currently live here and since it is under new management since a couple of months ago I have got to say that it is by far a place that I would highly recommend to anybody trying to find apartments to move in.I have a daughter and my wife and I feel very safe in this community. As far as management, the pool has very frequent maintenance and they always Make sure to mow the grass and keep the community looking clean. When I have a problem with my A/C or something in my home the maintenance crew is always ready to come and help and they are very friendly and very trustworthy.Martha and Rebecca are the ladies in the office and they will give you the best customer service you have ever had because they are very friendly so dont hesitate on giving them a call.
This is honestly the only place ive found that still allows section 8 housing and has nice housing and great reviews on google im hoping to move into a place im not scared to bring my daughter outside to and this is definitely it. And definitely agree that their customer service is the best. I will update if i move in to talk about how living there is, which im sure is great
Every time I go into the office Roslynn is ready to help and always has a great attitude.
Roselynn s. thank you for taking the time too explain and help me set up the online payment app and makin my renting experience a great one 👍
My daughter moved in October. Feels safe and secure. Great staff. No issues so far.
I love how it’s gated and makes me secure my kids can play outside without being in harms way. I love how the staff makes you feel at home. Thank you Roselynn for the great apartment.
Amazing experience with the staff of casa del Coronado. Roselynn made my move in process easy and any issues that arose, she was able to handle them without any hiccups.
Ive been here for about 3 years. Recently my mother had just died so I missed a little bit of work and they understood but not enough to give me 3 more days to get my next check to pay them before filling for eviction which will cost 230 in Court fees alone. My apartment has black mold, no over head fan for the stove and cockroaches living in the walls. On top of that my door has a bullet hole from a shooting in it and there have been plenty of those bad neighborhood and used to have good management but not enough to care about you. I will be moving ASAP.
Love the staff and maintenance team! Very friendly and always willing to help! My experience so far has been great here.
Roselynn was really nice and helpful and had a very positive attitude!
Great place to live! The office people are great Roselynn the lady in the front greets you always with a smile, real good customer service and the Manager is always available! The price is worth living at Casa del Coronado!!!
Roselynn the assistant manager is a very nice person She was very helpful
I went to visit a friend who lives here and I felt very safe the security gates and having a key in order to get Inside is fantastic its an amazing way to keep people from being robbed and the staff and management were amazing when I went in to ask and see if they would have any availabilities in November and they were polite, courteous, knew what they were doing, and they were most of all on top of everything they had everything together when I asked for it! Definitely will be moving in on November
Lived here for about 6 months all I can say is what a dump we had violence, prostitution, big time drug dealers living in the unit, all kinds of racial issues, bed bugs cockroaches and nasty things such as rats mice. The two women that run it could not make up their mind they wanted to play good guy bad guy. Never could agree on anything and Office you can make an arrangement with one of them and the other one would be going off later down the road. Management will tell you that its a non-violent Complex and that is bull s***. And countless times I watch the cops break up fights. Management wants to rent exactly on the 1st can they deliver papers a day after with a $25 per page fee. She is eviction happy, 5 day notice every time you turn around. Shes running out all the good people in turning into a drug prostitution hotel so unless you are trash and you wanna live in a trash box do not move in here.
Very nice management and very calm area. I loved their studio design
Ive lived here for a year and just renewed for another. I love it here. Totally remodeled apts with accent wall, refinished kitchen and bath and no carpet! I was a property manager almost 10 years so I speak from experience. The maintenance and management teams are friendly & professional, requests are addressed timely and efficiently. The grounds are clean, well kept, completely gated both walk in and parking (optional), newly remodeled launderies with cards so you dont have to have quarters. They pay attention to the details i.e. coffee, movie rentals & events for residents. You can even receive notices by email like packages in office and community events. Its a great place to live!Update - February 2020I have been here 3 years and am still very happy. We have new owners and new management, additions to property amenities, improvements with landscapers as well as a proactive approach to pest control (which Ive not had a problem with). The entire staff is friendly and get things done. Our manager, JoAnna, is friendly and available when you need her. She has brought back social events for residents. Im glad our assistant manager, Roselyn, stayed on when we had a change in property management companies. She, too, is friendly and always happy to help you with work orders or anything else you need. When she is busy JoAnna is quick to help. Our friendly maintenance staff is on the ball. Always a good morning/afternoon when they see you around and courteous when they come for a work order.I am as happy here as when I moved in, probably even more! Thank you!!
Very clean and well taken care of. Lived here almost 2 years. Friendly people and managers.
Ive lived here going on one year now. My experience has been neighbors who like to continuously slam their doors shut every night. And once you get passed the screaming and fighting and yelling that goes on with cops showing up all the time...Theres the front gates that are ALWAYS propped open by a large rocks so all the neighborhood kids can come over here and use the pool and play basketball at 4am. Or grown ups drinking and being loud under the ramada. But if thats not enough to scare you away. How about I mention the fact my downstairs neighbors had bed bugs that spread to differant apartments ! The apartment management could careless if you have mold in your kitchen or if your ac breaks. They cut as many short corners as they can with fixing stuff. Everything is half assd and youre lucky if you get a maintenence guy that speaks English. My rent here was $472 a month not including utilities and now they want as much as $530.00 not including utilities. If youre looking for a safe and quiet neighborhood...My advice to you is: LOOK ELSEWHERE ! !
Do NOT live here. Management is careless. The area is terrible. A lot of drug addicts roaming the apartments. They have locked every gate to avoid it to the point that it’s a fire hazard to live here. The water is constantly getting shut off without any notice. The heating makes the fire alarms go off. Random junkies break the neighbors windows and damage the cars in the main parking lot and if you do not pay $15 you are not allowed in the gated parking. It is winter and now the heaters don’t work and the maintenance men will leave a job half done in your apartment with wires and screws left all over the place.
I was visiting my cousin and so far i been there has been several incidents were management has done nothing but been ridiculous where we had a rock thrown threw one of the windows of the apartment even a threat in the mail from the community crime watch wich was a fraud and we brought to the offices attention and nothing was done now her new car and one other has been vandalized and broken in to brought it to the offices attention and they said they can’t do nothing about it when they have security but he does nothing at all these are the worst apartments ever do not move in !!
These apts are roach infested. dont waste your time
GHETTO!
Siempre ay problemas, los peores departamentos que puede existir, siempre ay problemas con el ac y dicen que esta bien, te ponen portable lo cual sube tu luz, mienten, te dicen algo después dicen que no
