So thankful for the care and understanding the staff showed my mother. They were supportive every step of the way. The facility is very nice and the staff is very kind to their residents and family members. I can vouch for the food as I had it a few times...Quite tasty! This is where you want your loved one. Special thank you to Anita who let me text or call anytime with questions. She was and is my angel. She and other staff members even came in on their off days to help my mother since there were few she trusted. God bless all of you!!!

My husband spent his last two weeks at Pacifica. I could not have hoped for a more caring or compassionate staff. You made a very difficult time for us bearable..

Dale Howard and her staff do an amazing job taking great care of the residents. The work they do is so demanding and difficult and I am so grateful that they have been there every step of the way for my mom.

My dad has been a challenge for these guys, but they have been so caring and accommodating! I cannot express our gratitude for the help and continued care to get him to a very stable and highly functioning position. I cannot recommend this facility enough to anyone that is experiencing any issues with a loved one that may need assistance. It is a one stop shop and my dad LOVES it here! The food is excellent (in his opinion) and he loves the structure. We thank everyone there for their patience and the caregivers in his building have been top notch and amazingly hospitable to our continued visits and his headstrong personality.

I visited Pacifica Senior Living Tucson. It is a premier Memory Care community offering a unique cottage-style living concept. The grounds are impeccably manicured, the cottages are very clean and staff knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful community!

Pacifica is an amazing facility! Its got a large campus, and they have a great loving and caring staff! Ive been privileged to be able to perform here for the better part of two years and they are always welcoming and go the extra mile for their residents! Its truly a joy to see the reactions of their residents and staff, dancing and singing along. Its a blessing to be a part of!

Where to even begin,My father just passed away in the care of Pacifica Senior Living. We were beyond blessed to have placed our dad in the care of the most loving and caring staff. Destiny was on top of her cottage and ensured our requests for dad were met and that he was happy on his last years. We met such great caregivers, Dakota, Amber, Valerie. The nurses were always so wonderful and constantly in touch with us about dad. Tina, Anita, and Suzanne. When our last moments came, they visited us at Peppis and made sure we were ok and coping well. They all loved Dad. Francisco told us stories from when he worked overnight with dad and how he was a wonderful man. I’m sure we couldn’t have found better care and love than at Pacifica. It’s hard to go through these phases of our loved ones. But the great staff at Pacifica makes it so easy to understand what our loved one was going through and how to proceed with care. Y’all rock!

Im giving two stars for the employees who try to keep up with the overload of work expected from them with minimal pay. Without the employees I would give them no stars. The management is a joke and it all stems from Dale. Its a shame due to the fact that it is a visibly beautiful establishment that if ran correctly has the potential to be a nice place for your loved ones.Heres the problem. Its ran purely for money. Talk about skeleton crew. How about employees running from cottage to cottage on a regular basis. How about one employee during the day shift trying to take care of 14 residents with dementia or physical ailments that require heavy lifting by themselves? This puts the residents and caregivers in a very dangerous situation yet I see it all the time. The residents dont get the care they need and the workers are quite clearly stressed to the breaking point. No wonder the turnaround is so high.To end, unless they seriously address the issues and start running the place like the residents and employees are actually a concern I wouldnt leave my bicycle in their care.

I work for Pacifica Senior Living in Tucson and I think that this place is a great place to work and I would bring my loved one here if I needed to.I just want to say how awful these reviews are that are posted here. They sound like an employee who is mad because they have to do a little more work, but thats how it is in DEMENTIA care. Its never an easy job. I have worked at other facilities and had to do more with less help and even if you are working by yourself for a little while you can always count on the nurses and other staff to come and help out. It just not fair how one pissed off employee can go on here and make this great place look so bad.

My Mom was so unhappy with the one on one care we were giving her at home. She was getting so angry. She is now very happy in her new apartment and is enjoying being in the company of other people. She was always a social person and this is just what she needed. She keeps telling us that everyone that works there is so kind and helpful and really good cooks! Communication from the staff is wonderful!!! We are at peace with our decision to place her there.

Pacifica Three year updateThree years ago I wrote a revue as to my opinion of how Pacifica was operated.Three years have passed and my wife is still in the care of Pacifica now going on her sixth year.I see a recient post putting down the caregivers at this facility which is my main reason for this my latest post..Having been around for six years I for sure know who this anonymous person is putting down with these cruel negative remarks.First let me say. If you have any complaints about Pacifica or you feel as have been stated. Address this issue to the director instead of writing negative remarks. Give Ms. H_________ a chance to hear you out and address your concerns. As you may know all the residents there with dementia do not get better and as their illness advances the care they require becomes more one onone . I have never seen any resident being neglected because of a phone call. I have never seen any one of the nurses being remiss in their dutiesAs I have stated to you before. This is NOT GODS LITTLE ACRE. It is the closest thing you can get to it for your loved one.Call Pacifica, take a tour of the facility. ask all your questions, Talk to some of the residents love ones. Then go back home, go on your computer, use your name. Pacifica will be there for you and welcomes true and just feedback...……. Respectfully LOUIS SAKLAD

This place is horrible. Caregivers fighting with each other in the cottages or always on there phones. No one seems to care. The worst person I met was the nursing assistant while I was there he was gossiping with caregivers about other workers even his own BOSSES. Very rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend this place to anyone

As an employee here for over a year, I can honestly say that Ive had lots of jobs and all places have their ups and down when it comes to who you work with and for . Dale is a wonderful person to work for and cares for this facility and all her employees . All places of business have their share of disgruntled employees and everyone has a right to their own opinions, so I felt that I should share mine. I enjoy working with everyone here they are all wonderful people .

Wow where do I start, This is for all future users of a memory care facility with regards to pacifica memory care Tucson with Dale at the helm.Dont get us wrong, she is a nice enough person along with all the staff, but after several years with our loved one here it was getting really bad, always new staff faces and high turn over from what we saw. They have cut staff really really hard and repeatedly drop the ball on follow ups like call backs or emails and general things like Ill call you right back---dont hold your breath. Our loved one really started having fall injuries which isnt all to blame on pacifica, but lord when you have minimum staff required by law on the job at nite to keep and eye on the residents you are just asking for trouble. The dementia residents that are prone to night wandering and getting in positions of having major falls are not being served well when there is no one to watch often, hence my camera comment below.and yes I am aware of the law that wont let them restrain patients, but if there arent enough personell to watch out for them, guess what happens, lots of injuries and trips to emergency room along with added $$$$$$ to eventually have them in accelerated declining health. The workers all appear to care for and take care of the paying residents but running a ghost town in regards to personnel at night, its not good at all. When they call you to tell you an incident has happened its like they are now a 3rd party and have to guess how the accident happend because, yep, no one was around to see what happened and they are at the mercy of the dementia person that fell or was injured to tell them what happened-- not a good system to depend on a injured party that for this info that may not even understand what day it is or how they got hurt--- DEMETIA YOU KNOW.We saw and were made aware from our loved one that fell outside on a hot day and thank god they were able to get back up to come inside to tell someone (us) and staff that was In charge of watching them that they fell.If it had been on the scorching hot sidewalk and they couldnt have gotten up or moved from the hot surface being in their 80s, it could have been a disaster. In general the facility is nice and the people are nice, but its a huge fail on process and planning and follow thru.Keeping track of high dollar hearing aids eyeglasses, cell phones etc, dont even think about it. Its to much for the few people on shift to keep track of.As far as we could see, they have no set shift change hand off of info and prior goings on with individual residents. They need some sort of a activity board that is actually used manditory 24/7 by all 3 shifts along with a shift change info relay to on coming staff, no exceptions not just when they remember to, and the board for each cottage should be 8 foot long or longer to handle all pertinent ongoing daily info. Also its like they assume the family members of the residents are retired sitting at home drinking wine chilling out waiting for calls because they have nothing better to do, like maybe paying for the expensive stay in regards to private pay customers.Seems like as each shift comes on for the day that they start from scratch, because there is no info on things done prior by someone else and this may be a symtoms of grossly understaffed situations. They IMO if they are going to try and operate on super minimal staff, for gods sake get video real time coverage system on most open areas monitored by a full time crew so when they have no staff to watch at least a camera person would see a fall outside on 300 degree ground to alert staff.Ive seen several staff coming in to start shift and they just put away their back packs etc and go to work with no hand off of prior workings for the day.I do realize all facilitys run bare bones due to costs but it seems this place with all its directors and Chiefs in charge is just begging for mayhem.Hope this info helps the familys considering this facility.Good day
