The pool is consistently turning green and in need of scrubbing. Theres been tons of dirt at the bottom and hardly any presence of chlorine. Its summer and the only thing we want to do is soak but we cant without the risk of illness.

A big thank you to Sabino Vista! The move in process has been a breeze alongside Cindy. This is a perfect place for our growing family. We feel safe as it is a gated community, and the property is well kept. The pool is beautiful, it is truly a little piece of luxury in Tucson, AZ!

I have been a current resident for almost 3 years. I want to start off by saying this is a lovely community with great security but as the prices continue to increase for rental properties (as is this one) this place should not be your top choice. The cost of these rentals homes have increased exponentially in the previous 6 months I’ve lived here and they have done nothing to be worthy of this insane increase in price. They still struggle to hire appropriate personnel to carry out daily responsibilities required of a apartment community. I put in a maintenance request for multiple items needing attention in my unit over 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing back from them except that they are prioritizing roof issues. That does not mean they cannot fit other higher priority issues into the schedule. They have increased their prices over $600 per month for a 3 bedroom unit and over $500 a month for a 2 bedroom unit and have shown nothing to indicate that they are worthy of such a profit. They only offer a pool to residents (no gym, no bbq’s, no community events, no common meeting spaces and not hiring enough personnel or paying them enough or following up in a timely manner on maintenance requests). It’s really unfortunate they’re choosing a profit over retaining their current loyal residents because come February when my lease is due to be renewed I won’t even be able to afford this place let alone even afford to live in a smaller two bedroom unit and I’m a nurse working in the ICUs. I’m sure many other tenants will face similar problems with how bad COVID-19 is getting again and the prices not budging. It breaks my heart, I choose this place because it was so close to my parents and now anything in the area is becoming unaffordable to Tucson locals. Do not make this your top choice during a time like this. You will not get your money’s worth.

During our recent monsoon season, we received over 3 inches of rain. In the Old Pueblo, this becomes a major flooding and property damage problem. Although our unit escaped any major damage we did receive a minor leak in the roof. After reporting the damage, within 48 hours, the maintenance team scaled their ladders to our roof and repaired the damage. Saludos to the team.

I can tell you after being a resident with this community for 4.5 years, the care and concern for resident satisfaction ended after you signed your Welcome packet and Initial Lease. Good Luck with ever getting a response back from the leasing office; and if you were fortunate enough to catch someone at the office or on the phone, expect non-comital, short answers with zero warmth. UNTIL NOW....Pay attention MEB management, you have a real diamond in the rough. Kelly, at the Sabino Vista Apartment Homes leasing office, has been a beacon of friendliness,AND effectiveness. She is someone who obviously takes pride in her work and in her word. If you are fortunate to have Kelly on the receiving end of a resident request, inquiry or interaction, she is going to get you the help and information you need and in a timely manner. If she does not posses the answer or solution to your questions or need, she will get you pointed in the right direction, as well as follow up after the fact just to make sure there is nothing more she can do to help. Unheard of in this day and time. These 5 stars are just for Kelly. I only hope by singing her praises and shining an appreciative light on her wonderful personality and results driven performances, that I havent expedited her climb up the corporate ladder, which will surely take her out of this community here at Sabino Vista Apartment Homes. and on to bigger and better opportunities elsewhere. Thank you Kelly; you absolutely make a difference here and it is long, long overdue. RD

Dont let the luxury lifestyle fool you... the way the management team operates here feels anything but luxurious. we encountered many issues during our time here, including maintenance people repeatedly not showing up when we have been told to be at home and available for a 4 hour window of time... but the worst was when, in the middle of our 2nd lease term, we were told that we either needed to move out of our assigned garage or start paying an additional fee, despite the garage being a part of our lease agreement. after we refused, we received illegal notices to vacate from their attorneys. they continued to harass us for over a month over the garage and it wasnt until we threatened to take legal action against them that they finally left us alone. this happened within the first month of the covid-19 pandemic, and it wasnt just us that it happened to. for them to go around and demand more money from people in the middle of their lease terms during a global heath crisis and a national recession was, to put it simply, a disgusting thing to do. it was at that point that we decided the cost of living here was simply not worth it. in short - i do not recommend living here. go buy yourself a house and your mortgage will be cheaper and you wont have to deal with uncaring, sneaky, money-hungry property managers.

We moved in six month ago and have been happy with our home and the complex. As this house is a lot newer than the prior home we rented, we were excited about the move and then the covid pandemic struck. As most of Tucson was shut down, Sabino Vista followed suit; i.e., maintenance was put on hold, except for major emergencies. Even though we had put in a few maintenance requests during this time period, we knew that when Tucson opened up again, our maintenance requests would be honored! When it was announced maintenance was starting back up, we got a call from the office and they scheduled us and everything got taken care of in one day! The two newest maintenance guys were assigned to take on our orders, and they were great! They were friendly, cheerful and took care of everything in no time. Shortly after we moved in our a/c unit had an issue. We called the office and the maintenance guy, at the time, didnt hesitate for a minute.......he came right over, climbed on a ladder, determined the problem and was able to fix it in less than an hour...........and it was almost 5PM when this happened! I cannot say enough about the maintenance staff......they have all been very responsive and great to work with!

I moved here from out of state and looked at several other apartments and found Sabino VIsta to be my home. I fell in love and signed my lease the same day. I have been here for over a year now, my most favorite part of the community is the heated pool and hot tub. When I have family coming to visit they really enjoy my apartment. Our maintenance over the last year has improved due to new staff. The girls in the office are always great to see and enjoy visiting with when I stop in to pay my rent. The community is clean and my neighbors are friendly and willing to help out when needed.

I lived here for 3 wonderful years. I had the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom floor plan, which was perfect. Great space inside, great finishes, and a wonderful little yard. Very private and well insulated home...and that is what it was — a home. The management was great to work with and, on the perhaps 2 instances I needed maintenance, that team was quick to respond and did the job well. All-in-all, had it not been for my employer transferring me, I would have continued to enjoy my home in Sabino Vista.

Please stay away from this “luxury” apartments!!!The management is terrible! I moved here at the end of March 2020 and I am still waiting to get a gate opener, to have maintenance to come and help me set the “alarm system”, and to have someone to do an “inspection” to make sure everything works?!I have asked to have bushes trimmed in the sidewalk by my unit 3 times (nothing done!). I have problems with my AC UNIT on a Sunday afternoon (110 degrees outside) and was told THAT IT HAS TO GET TO 82 DEGREES IN MY UNIT TO BE CONSIDERED AN EMERGENCY (?!?!!!) so they will try to get someone to take a look at it tomorrow (?!?!!!).PLEASE, if you are looking to rent, STAY AWAY FROM SABINO VISTA APARTMENTS (It is faaaar from being LUXURY living). They are nothing but trouble. The place has terrible managers and all they want is your money. In exchange you get a lot of aggravation and the worst costumer service you can get.As far as security (?!). Are you kidding me?! The gates are open at all hours and more often than not, broken or malfunctioning!!! It took them several months to get one of the security doors fixed (due to the pandemic?!?!!). This is work that needed to be done outdoors, pleaaaaaase! Give me a break! There is just so much you can blame on the pandemic! Incompetence is not one of them!

Sabino Vista (previously Avilla and Aerie) touts themselves to be “luxury at it’s finest.” The interior of our unit was nice but that’s where it ends. There is one covered parking spot for a three bedroom home and sidewalks that lead to nowhere so you are walking your pets on pavement for the most part. The layout and look of this place is the least of anyone’s worries, though.Since moving here in (2017) the community has gone through a few leasing office personnel changes as well as maintenance. Contracts have been lost by the leasing office on several occasions to the point where they do not know who is renting out which garage. After renewing our lease, we have gotten calls from a different employee asking if we are renewing. There’s an obvious communication and organization problem. This has not only been a personal issue but a community wide issue with several other tenants. The most concerning issue we’ve had while living here is safety and privacy. A third party pest control worker was given a key to our front door with no work order. An employee in the leasing office made the major mistake of giving him access to a unit who never made an appointment. A stranger walking into your home while showering isn’t very luxurious or safe for either party involved. This wasn’t the first incident of services being done to wrong units as we’ve had our in-house maintenance walk in to our unit without permission as well. I’ve spoken to the front office as well as MEB and have been told they will really try to work on the way they enter orders and pay more attention.Good location and friendly, quiet neighbors.

Lived there last year. The place is fine although there was glue coming out of the floor due to the heat and it ended up being really messy. I would say my biggest concern was with the management. Some of the ladies working there did a great job, however just make sure you read your contract and all the fine print. And when you are moving out make sure you take pictures of the place because you will get charged for things you didn’t do.

“Luxury” living at it’s saddest. The shiny appliances, tile floors and high ceilings will pull you in. Rent is kind of high for cheaply constructed units. There isn’t much light at night, no walking path lights so I usually saw people walking their dogs with flashlights. There are no security cameras or security personnel which is understandable if you’re not paying over $1500 a month...but this is “luxury.” Front office and maintenance staff changed two times while living there and I’m not sure which was worse. I had maintenance not understand an issue that was going on so instead of asking me or my partner, they marked it as completed and nothing was done. This place is just a joke. Great location but save your money.

I have enjoyed my home here at Sabino Vista. The only problems I am unhappy about is the way I have struggled in an effort to pay my rent.Since changing ownership, I am very upset that I have been a great tenant who has been a great neighbor and always pay my bills on time. Now the policies for payment of my rent leaves me in an impossible position to pay my rent on time because of the “slow mail service in Tucson”. It is not right if a resident sends there rent payment through the mail on or well before the rent is due...but you don’t receive it until 20 plus days after it is post DATED and I am sent a threatening letter stating NOTICE OF INTENT TO TERMINATE RENTAL AGREEMENT FOR NON-PAYMENT OF RENT.I have never had any problems with anyone here and no one has ever had problems with me. I have had great relationships with all staff and neighbors. My rent is $1444.00 per month and because of these policies that I was unaware of, I wasn’t even permitted to pay my rent with a personal check. I had to get a cashiers check for $1,653.50!!!!!!That is beyond unreasonable and disrespectful to treat a wonderful resident this way.I am going to expose how I have been treated. And I am going to see my attorney next week.I’ve been dealing with major health issues and many other personal issues and the stress that this has and continues to cause is affecting my health.Other than that, the employees I have dealt with are great and kind. They are victims of the unreasonable policies!!!!

Think twice about living in a poorly built and overpriced home next to a busy loud intersection. We sold our home and moved into what we thought was a stress-free home while we built our new home however the move-in was delayed because it wasnt ready and it has not been stress-free or cheap. After a year we are still waiting on a door for our master closet and making sure not to do more than three loads of laundry per day because the washer will often upchuck water all over the floor and their revolving door for maintenance crew has not been successful at fixing it. All was good until the ceiling started leaking during monsoon season and the AC would freeze. Thank goodness its not raining anymore and it is cooling off because the crickets that hijack the walls of my poorly built home are cutting into my sleep more than the loud traffic when opening my windows due to a broken AC unit. Calling and complaining will not help because the office hangs up on you when you try to hold them accountable. They may have got me in a contract but dont let them get you!

Wow .... Where 2 begin.Took residence over a year ago. Asked for the rental agreement .... took months to get & 1/2 cut off. The pool is green & never maintenanced. Interesting ---- Pima County health department was here the other day. (Management had to padlock the gate) .... The appliances break, dead dryer & ice maker ..... This is on a brand NEW unit. The dryer took 2 months to repair. In the first 6 months the AC went out twice. They refused to fix it on the weekend, in 100 degree heat. This is a LUXARY apartment. Then the threats. I got a dog & everything went crazy. They put 2 eviction notices on my door in 2 days. The management is sloppy & disingenuous. The place is built cheap & the management fits that theme. Id highly suggest folks read the reviews. This place is unfriendly, unsafe, unfair & unprofessional. Tanya has a very limited understanding of business or interpersonal skills to interface with residents. Simply put; stay away. Tell your friends to stay away. Read whats on line. The poor reviews are totally accurate. For asking premium rent & touting luxury, all you get is poor service, poor equipment, poor management & a poor experience.
