Unfortunately my husband left a 5 star review a few years ago and he can’t go back and change it or it would be a one star. I’m leaving a one star because I was just notified by a collection agency for a balance of $60 dollars!!! We were there 3 years and always on time with rent and never caused any problems. Despite having our vehicle stolen out of our garage and the endless issues with trying to get in our out of our garage because neighbors don’t use the parking spots!! We purchased our dream home in November and had a few months left on the lease. I talked with upper management after the property manager was reluctant to hear us out, depots giving nearly a 3 month notice. We came to a reasonable agreement to get out of our lease just a month early.However, despite leaving it clean and having the carpets shampooed they still nickel and dimmed us!! It would have been common courtesy to call or contact us via email or regular mail before turning us over to collections!!Angelica, the complex manager never reached out to us!! I would have been more than willing to resolve this issue without going to collections!! I had given her our new address before we left.Horrible customer service and communication!! I would highly advise if your considering renting there to think twice about it.To management: since this is your way of communication your welcome to take the common courtesy and reach out to me to resolve this issue appropriately and professionally.P.S. I paid the collection agency so you’ll get your $60 dollars!!I guess the lack of communication over $60 was worth the one star review??

Couldn’t get the keys until 3pm, which was very inconvenient for some of us when it came to moving in. They said maintenance needed to do some “last minute things” but they had over a month to do those “things”. maybe it’s my fault because I didn’t get utilities set up till the last minute so maybe they needed utilities to do those “things”. Also my garage door remote was not ready on move in. The outside of the garage door looks like it was half painted. Other than the time thing the move in was smooth. The apartment managers helped us along the entire process.

Really enjoyed living here under current management, namely Angelica. Very friendly and professional, and she goes out of her way. We always had our service requests filled as well as good responses from the office. Also, the maintenance guy is awesome. Would recommend.

My move in was so smooth. These homes are gorgeous! My home was clean and ready! The neighborhood is so friendly. We have been here 2 days and my son has already made friends. It is such a sweet community. The elementary school is right next door. We are a minute drive from the grocery store. It is amazing The manager, Angelica, is awesome. She is warm and inviting. I highly recommend Galaria Del Rio and hope to live here for quite awhile Thank you!

The town home was not ready on move in date 7/30 floor being installed walls being painted then I told them to make sure it’s ready we got keys not to rush we will be back on the 1st on the 1st we are tired come back from work /sch all the fire Alarms go of at around 7:30pm no fire fire department stated alarms were defective replace battery and advices us to disconnect if it happens again well at 1am it happened again we did even have furniture etc or ladder to reach ceiling to stop it and remove battery - after fumbling we stopped it only for it to happen again at 5 am I have to be at work at 7am I have barely rested my child has to be at sch at 7too no rest this was a nightmare I’m not sure what else is defective in-house I paid so much money for and I was not given a number to call emergency service or maintenance instructions before move in

My wife and I lived here for one year while I was doing my thesis at U of A. I had a great experience living here. The units are very spacious and quiet, very similar to living in a single family home. We decided to live here because the units were new and had attached garages which we couldnt find in other complexes. Im originally from the Northeast and the weather is extremely hot in Tucson for us. It was very nice getting into a cool car on a hot Arizona summer day! I would definitely recommend Galeria del Rio to others looking to rent in Tucson

Really my chief complaint is that the walls are a bit thin, so we can hear the neighbors TV.Otherwise, the townhomes themselves are a great size. Having a garage is a nice bonus too. The grounds are pretty well maintained. Its a quiet community (other than my neighbors TV), which is wonderful. The pool area is lovely. I only wish the pool was heated as advertised. The new staff is all very kind and helpful.The maintenance man, Austin, he must be the hardest working person Ive ever seen. Truly! I hope the management company recognizes what a gem they have in him and pay him and treat him accordingly, because hes just incredible. Whenever we call for issues, hell say, Can I come right now to fix it for you? He fixes it right away and correctly, which is rare in places like this.I also have noticed him around the community doing things that I wouldnt expect to be the job of maintenance personnel, like cleaning up trash and cleaning out a house where someone left a bunch of furniture and trash when they moved.Trusting that if I encounter any issues that theyll be addressed promtly and correctly is a HUGE relief.

UPDATE: I posted a prior review about lack of communication regarding a discrepancy with my deposit. Angelica reached out immediately & in a matter of less than a day she got to the bottom of it & I had all the answers I needed. As I said before, living here was great, no complaints. But I struggled with getting communication regarding my deposit after I left, & I was really confused & unhappy about the lack of follow up. Angelica solved all of that! She recently took over in management & she is just awesome. This issue had nothing to do with her, yet she rectified it for me & was so helpful. Incredibly friendly & nice, & very diligent in getting the information I needed so this could finally be settled. Would highly recommend working with her & living at Galeria. Thank you Angelica!

This has been a nightmare experience for me. There is a total lack of regard for the rules and regulations of this complex. Garbage cans litter the curbs or by the renters front doors. People leave their garages open with I garbage strewn all over the floor. The dog yard has feces all over even though there is a dog poop receptacle. If dogs are kept in the yard, no one picks up the poop and the smell permeates to the neighbors. Cigarette butts are thrown around this supposedly no smoking complex. This place is disgusting!!garages.

Pleasent place to live, quiet and clean. I love having management that takes sincere care of their residents. I had a small issue and the manager made sure everything was resolved before I had even gotten home! I would highly reccomend to anyone looking for a nice place to live!

Major lemon. This place appears nice but units have moee problems than perks. Weve been without a.c. for almost 2 days and nothing has been resolved. We have emailed and called the office multiple times with no response. We moved in over 5 months ago and the original issues we had still havent been fixed.

Absolutely abysmal service. After a neighbor rammed a car into my house, Galleria Del Rio took three months before they finally contacted someone to fix it. Three months with a hole in my house and backyard, and yet they took their sweet time to fix it. When the construction workers finally showed up, no one in my house was notified, so when working on the backyard my dog got out, and I wasnt notified AND THERE WAS NO ATTEMPT TO CATCH MY DOG. They literally just let him run into the street, and thank god someone down the road caught him before any harm happened to him.The office is impossible to get ahold of. They are never in during their business hours and make no attempts to contact you after you leave messages at their place. I had put in a service order to fix an outlet that would not work, and a faucet that would not dispense water, and it took them 4 months before the service order was answered.TERRIBLE SERVICE AND IT DOES NOT JUSTIFY THE COST OF LIVING HERE. TRUST ME, RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Parking is a joke! 1 Month they say you cant park in guest parking, then another month you cant park in your driveways, even though you have already been told you can. They like to threaten you! With towing, stealing your trash cans, fines, etc. I used to love this place. The only staff member I give a lot of credit to, is the Maintenance Man, Justin! He is pleasant, fast, and on the ball! The rest of the staff has changed ownership so many times. The pool is small, theft if an issue, the cameras they claimed to install dont do anything.

No one ever is in the office. I need my a/c unit looked at because its not working... still no return call after several hours and calls... The dog park is also a mess. Never Clean! Poor customer service!

Lived here for one year from 2014 to 2015. The buildings were brand-new when we moved in. The quality of living here is generally pretty good relative to the rent - the houses are spacious and mostly well-built, the community is family-friendly, and the location is central - pretty much everything you need within a 10-20 minute drive. However, I had two major problems during my time here. One is that the upstairs AC units do not deliver enough cooling/heat for the space they cover, so I consistently had two bedrooms that were in the upper 80s during the hot part of the year and in the low 60s during the cool part. My neighbors had this issue as well, and there was no way to resolve it. The other is that there was a lot of staff turnover, and at many times the office was staffed by a temp who did not have the knowledge or clout necessary to deal with certain essential basic things (like telling me the balance on my account, or setting up a time for the final walkthrough when I moved out). If a friend of mine moved to Tucson, Id consider recommending that she live here, but not without checking out some other options first.

Parking is minimal and when you park infront of your own garage your vehicle will be towed! You can never reach management, Ive called and spoken to two different employees in person about my garage not closing and Im into 3wks with no response! Since Nov cars have been broken into at least 1 or 2 every week, management placed cameras worth $800 that DONT record or have good quality (Theyre answer for everything is they will implementing a safer environment, which hasnt happened) Houses have been raided, background checks are obviously not done extensively because police have walked residents out in handcuffs numerous times ! Cops are at this community at least once a week ! Graffiti is a problem on moving trucks. Cars speed up and down Prairie Clover with no regard to children or anyone for that matter! I have lived here for a year and since mid year 2015 we received a new office manager and thats when ALL the issues began! I dont recommend this place at all !

Unfortunately, you will be ripped off your deposit. $700 was stolen from my deposit as they wanted to change the carpet from my pocket after I left it very clean. They said Well, you used it for 3 years! You cant renovate the building on the cost of the prior tenants. I am disappointed, never happened to me even in worse places I rented.

Management is awful. Horrible response time to maintence calls or no response at all. Dishwasher has been broken for three weeks, multiple calls and visits to the office and same responseHe will be in on Monday.
