I really enjoyed living here! A beautiful location for a great price. Maintenance fulfilled requests very quickly... didnt increase my rent after the first year. Amenities were great... Highly recommend!
My husband and I just moved into the Equestrian Apartments in June and we love it here! I am so so so impressed with the maintenance service. It’s rare to find apartments where customer service comes first but I can absolutely that is the case here! Luis came to look at our shower handle that snapped off and we would’ve gone through the entire weekend without showers or baths (I have a two month old baby) but Luis went and bought the part to fix it at 7:30pm!!! Incredible service! It makes me so proud of the decision to live here!
Overall we really enjoyed living at Equestrian for two years. We only left because we moved out of state. The apartments and patios are small but very nice. They do great updates as well. Parking is definitely limited but we rarely had issues finding spots within a decent distance of our apartment. The pool and gym are also nice and clean. A lot of kids in this complex though and adults will bring this young children to the gym and let them play on the equipment which can be frustrating if you want to work out. We lived there during COVID so the pool was closed a lot but it is what it is! Overall we felt safe in the community, no sketchy things happening in the complex. However, if you are having maintenance work done, I would highly recommend being home when they are there and stay in the same room they are working. We did have a bad experience with a maintenance worker stealing money that was on our counter (our mistake for leaving it out, we know but still).
For the first many months it was really nice, the pool was fun and neighbors are really friendly. But after about 9 months or so cockroaches just overtook our apartment no matter what we tried, bleach, raid, and every other chemical that could possibly help. They sprayed but it didnt help, I had to throw most everything away and wash everything twice. I called it quits and moved in with a friend instead and only went back to check on the place. The main manager was very rude and unprofessional. The rest of the staff was very nice luckily and the property was landscaped nicely but I would be cautious of signing a long lease and trapping yourself in too long.
I lived here for a year when it was called Summit Vista apartments. It had a name change 3 months before I moved out. The staff were always pleasant. Maintenance was always fast to fix anything in the apartment.Neighbors were nice, very clean landscape. I like the gated community feel.I had a pleasant experience living here. The apartments had upgraded dark cherry kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops with upgraded appliances. Great pool are and BBQ all new out door furniture. My only complaint was the parking. They have limited parking area for friends and family.Other than that it is very nice place to live.
Honestly this place is one of the best apartments I have ever lived at. The staff is nice and beyond helpful. The grounds are clean and maintained in a professional fashion and I love that the noise level here is so low... I enjoy living here. The only bad thing about this place is the new way they want you to pay your rent... it’s on an app that does not accept some banks... therefore, if you have to pay with a credit card, they charge you an additional 4% processing fee, which could be up to $30-$40 every month... this adds up over time and is discouraging to say the least.
It was wonderful, they showed up with 15 minutes of my request, all fixed and ready to go. Love how fast it was. Thank you so much
Luxury But the second I moved in I noticed ROACHES in my kitchens and bathrooms. When I told management over the phone they said Oh yes, we can add you to our exterminators weekly list to come by and spray absolutely disgusting. On top of that, during my stay my hot water wasnt working and maintenance had to come by on 3 different occasions to fix it. In the end I settled for cold showers for a month until my lease was up because they would take a week to send someone out to attempt to fix it when it clearly needed to be replaced.I lived in better places on east side where I paid 1/3 of the cost. What a joke
Equestrian is right on top of tenants needs whether it’s a repair or a replacement. They are quick, professional and respectful and wear masks when they enter my home.
The location Is beautiful. Its quiet. The pool is always crystal clear. The maintenance staff is top notch. And the office team are sweet. And very helpful.
I just moved in an the shower master and guest bathroom are broken there is rust in the tub. Wash machine an toilet need to be repaired an a number of other things.
I have lived here for almost 3 years. The staff are very helpful, and the community is great! I feel safe and have the coolest neighbors!
I cant wait to move out of this complex. Ever since luxury was slapped onto the name, this place has been anything but. The staff and the maintenance crew are nice but I rarely see things handled all in one swoop. Have to call just to have things completed because communication is an absolute zero between tenants and staff unless you owe them money. I really liked this place when I first moved in. Idk if its the change in companies that manages the complex or what but it isnt worth the price.
Quick and efficient. Thank you.
We enjoyed are stay with them. The apartments are very clean and quiet. They were always there quickly when you had a maintenance request. I would highly recommend the equestrian apartments.
Great apartments overall! Nice office and maintenance staff. Updated pool and grilling area. Nice layout and apartment in good condition. Convenient area to live. My biggest issue was the lack of available parking spots. Our assigned spot wasnt that close to our apartment and made groceries and moving a hassle. There were also very few open, unassigned spots, which made one of us always on the hunt for a spot (until we gave in and got a garage). Anytime we had a guest over they had to hunt for a parking spot near us. The apartment has been great about listening to those complaints and added many more spots while we were there, but I think more is still needed.
Angie and staff were very helpful in ensuring our move in was in order and any maintenance needs were done quickly. Apartment is clean and area is quiet. This a perfect place to live with many local amenities to choose from. I would highly recommend the Equestrian Apartments.
Moved in when it was still Summit Vista 4 1/2 years ago. The newest staff and management company has been the best I’ve seen. Very quick to help with anything you need.
I have been very happy here for over 4 years! There has been a lot of improvements including new management and team. I have recommended this place and had a lot of friends live here too. It has been great.
I made a request and it was taken care of with efficiency and speed. You guys really are the best!
Every time I put in a work order online or when I call in the, the Equestrian office staff is always friendly and helpful. Maintenance showed up the next business day and fixed our problem as soon as possible. Thank you!
I have only lived here for 3 months and I hate it so much. it is 100+ degrees every day and no matter how many work orders we put in they have allowed our ac to be broken for nearly a month. They will take a week to do anything about it and it will break again the next day. Our apartment is nearly 90 degrees even at night and we have 6 fans running to keep it from going higher, our electric bill was almost 200 dollars because of this and we have had to stay in a hotel because the sleep we are losing and we have not seen a penny of compensation for it nor even an offer of some sort of compensation. Living here is unbearable and this heat has even been affecting our cats health. We made a note on our door and even in the work order letting everyone know we dont want the door left open in case our cat got out and the people who came to fix our ac left the door wide open, wore their shoes in our apartment, and left a giant mess of dirt everywhere in the apartment. This place is unsuitable and very obviously breaking Arizona laws and they do not care.
The maintenance and office team are quick and responsive! They complete all my requests the day of. The location is beautiful and conveniently located to a hub of shopping locations. The community is also kept very clean.
So far so good! Got my keys on Friday after patiently waiting for a ground floor unit to be available. The apartment is beautiful. Bright, clean, updated, open with big doors and windows. I was concerned about parking and they found me a garage last minute right In front of my apartment. Leasing office is pretty friendly and very helpful. Take care of things pretty quickly. Pool and clubhouse are under construction so hope that is finished soon so we have full access to amenities. Very happy so far :)
My family has been living here a little over a year and it started out fine, but it has been progressively worse. Its an oxymoron but for a corporation that supposedly values its residents it sure doesnt seem like it. Last Halloween eve the complex decided to repave and stripe the entire lot. During this time the management had no alternative area to park so we were forced to park outside of the gate. During this time several dozen cars were broken into and some set on fire. No temporary security was assigned during this time nor was there any acknowledgement that it happened. Second, there was no access to open windows or to the balcony because their painters took several weeks to paint one side of a building. Third was today, when they decided to occupy several uncovered and handicap parking spaces with gravel, in an already scarce parking environment. Residents are forced to gamble with parking outside of the gate and risk being the victims of vandals, or park in the red and risk being towed. When it was brought to the Managers attention there was zero accountability or in the least empathy and that was probably the most aggravating experience in our time here. Sometimes people just want to see some effort in getting a problem fixed and not just say theres nothing that can be done in an unrelenting tone. If you are a two car family and arent able to get home before 3 P.M. to get a parking space, good luck trying for the rest of the day and evening. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
My daughter moved into Summit Vista 4 months ago and she and I are so happy with her first experience living on her own. Office and Maintenance staff are Amazing and so helpful. Her apartment is beautiful an the grounds look fantastic every time I visit her.
My move in experience was great! I did have a problem with my parking space being unavailable, but the office staff handled the issue expeditiously. Thanks!
Was looking for temporary housing in the Tucson Arizona area and found these online. As these are recently renewed (formerly Summit Vista) I expected that they would have refreshed units and amenities. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The outside buildings have a fresh coat of paint, however, they are the same apartments just re-branded so that they can upcharge a new market rate.Per Jonita, should I want to go on a short-term lease, the total cost would amount to $1410 per month for a 969 sqft apartment. After multiple phone calls and emails, it would be much less of a hassle to rent a house in the area rather than an apartment.
I love living here! The front office staff is very attentive to all of the residents needs and really tries hard to make things easy for us. Anytime i have had to go to the office with an issue, it’s been solved in the nicest easiest way possible. These ladies are truly wonderful! I appreciate them so much!
I am so in love with this property and the staff. Maria was such a doll to work with!!!! Thank you Maria and Teresa for all your help in locating the perfect apartment. I am so excited to move in :)
I’ve lived here for 9 years and have never had a problem but there is a few things that could be better... but overall it’s my home and has been for a while...
I want to say thank you for all these reviews. I was really considering going to look at this place today as it looked to be online everything I was looking for. And the price seemed to be really great for a 2 bedroom. But now after reading the reviews about the parking situation and the break ins I now get why the price is so good. Because they have too many availability units. I have a nice truck and I am not willing to take that high risk of it being broken into or having to park offsite. I would rather pay more money somewhere else that I can feel my truck is safe for the most part. I have to wonder why the owner of the complex responds to the reviews of just saying sorry and report it to the office. That isn’t going to take care of the security issue or the parking issue. Is anything being done to try and expand more parking spots onsite and with security ? If this can’t be fixed eventually you will have no tenants. These days everyone reads the reviews and listens to them.
Wont work with their residents - regardless of how long theyve been there. They use the excuse there is nothing they can do because its not their decision or thats the policy, but you contact MEB corporate and they wont do anything either. During a global pandemic its only about the $$ for them. Theyve changed management and ownership a couple of times during the years Ive been here. MEB is the worst so far, it really speaks to the type of company they are.
The staff lacks effective communication. We were building a home and were only staying until it was done. Bella Torres told us it was a month to month lease and to cancel at least 60 days out. What they failed to communicate is that they locked us in for 5 months. Fortunately, our house was done in 3 months. I gave them 60 days notice and they informed me they would charge me for departing early. Bella was unapologetic for not explaining this to us in the beginning and was not willing to work with us. It was a bad experience all around. We had cockroaches from day one and it got so bad they had to do a micro injection. It was gross and made the whole living situation uncomfortable. I would not recommend living here.
Fantastic Apartments! I love living here! The neighbors are quiet & friendly. The community is always well taken care of and clean! There are always improvements happening which is great. The staff is so attentive especially Bella, She’s great! and any maintenance request are taken care of within 24 hours! I’ve havent got one bad thing to say about Summit Vista!
LOVE MY NEW APARTMENT. EVERYONE IS SO FRIENDLY HERE!!!! OFFICE STAFF MADE MOVE SO EASY!!!
Have lived here since before new management took over and I am so excited about all the changes they have made!
Love the apartment but there are a few things I am having to live with. My phone has not worked here for me. Keep getting call failure. Have to sit outside on patio to talk on the speaker phone. Verizon has been out and reports the signal in this area is bad. I now realize others are outside talking. I cannot sit by my computer and talk on phone at the same time. Claim chicken wire in walls are interfering with signal. Last time I called I got cutoff talking to Verizon.
I wish with all my heart that I could leave 5 stars, because the property is gorgeous, the renovations are amazing, maintenance is awesome and addresses work orders scary fast, office staff are friendly, and my apartment is perfect and very fairly priced. However, the parking situation is an absolute NIGHTMARE. You literally cannot live here if you drive more than one car. You get one assigned spot with your apartment, but the rest of the property is fire zones and tow-away spots. All un-assigned parking is constantly full. If you drive two cars, someone has to park somewhere off-property, which is miles away and the walk is kind of dangerous. This isnt managements fault of course, just really poor planning during development. This place was perfect when I lived alone, but now that I have a roommate the daily stress of figuring out where to park our cars is not what you want when youre coming home and trying to unwind from the day.Again, great place to live -- provided you only have one car!
Great administration, specifically Angie. Thank you for all you do! Maintenance team is awesome too! Great community!
Thank you for taking care of the issue so fast. I appreciate it very much.
Ive lived here for a month now and have had no issues. Staff has been friendly and courteous; always available to help. My apartment is fantastic. It was clean upon moving in and barely had a blemish to report. Paying rent online is a cinch and they give a discount because of where I work! Talk about a bonus. A couple of my friends are considering moving here after seeing it for themselves.
Horrible parking conditions. There was one time where they were repaving the lot and most residents were forced to park outside in the dirt lot. Although this is a common thing where people have to park out on the dirt, this night some kids tried to light a few cars on FIRE! They succeeded to light the car next to mine on fire and I got some fire damage. Also at this same time they broke the window of my car along with ~10 others were broken into! - I spoke to management and they said there was absolutely nothing they could do, even when we decided to move out for not feeling like we were in a safe area they would not help waive any move out early fees.
Ive lived in 2 different apartments at Summit Vista since Sept 2009. A 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom/2 bath. Some of the negative reviews mention things I have never experienced here. My experience here has been very positive. Maintenance has always fixed my issues within a week. I have never had a negative experience with neighbors. They have a recycling bin which is very important to me. There have been issues in the past with the grounds not being kept clean, but MEB management took over a few months ago and they have improved that quite a bit. Its clearly a priority now. Parking can be an issue especially for guests of residents, but that has improved also.
Generally the apartments are pretty nice, but the appliances are somewhat dated. Maintenance never actually fixes anything they Jerry rig stuff to work until it breaks 2 days later. NO PARKING!!!!!! You get one covered spot which is fine if you live by yourself. But if you have a roomate and get off late and they take the spot you have to park far away (if you find one at all). The office staff is either very fake nice or just rude and unprofessional. Overpriced for the location and lack of parking.
BEWARE! Luxury apartment is a JOKE. Buildings and grounds poorly maintained. Owners refused to fix major structural issues and just made excuses. My only option was to finally just move out because the building was so bad and the owner refused to fix it.Parking horrible...as in there isnt any! BEWARE. BEWARE. BEWARE. Dont be suckered in by nice cabinets & counter tops. Would give zero stars if possible, but they make you give at least 1 star to post review. Anyone giving this place a good review must have been extremely lucky not to have problems. All my neighbors I would chat with all had issues and no one was happy. Luckily the new apartment community I moved to is awesome and I dont have a single complaint. Moving to Summit Vista was a huge mistake and a waste of moving expense.
Doug is the only helpful staff member. Parking sucks....pool is always closed. Sad really. This place has the potential to be awesome.Have to update this review for the new management company. Parking still sucks, maybe if the garage was cheaper more people would use them instead of having empty garage and people parking in the dirt lot or across the street. Otherwise I have to say, everything else has improved. Maintenance does a great job and things are looking up
The staff was very friendly and had a willingness to help. The apartment is great except for a couple minor hiccups. I was surprised by the quick response of the maintenance personal to fix the issues.
The staff was and is extremely helpful, move in process was hassle free, the apartment was very clean and spacious. The complex itself is very clean.
As I have expressed previously, pleased with maintained crew . When things are needed to be fixed they are repaired in a timely manner and the crew is curtious and respectful. I am always notified if a package is waiting for me in the office and the management. Has always been helpful in answering any of my questions. If you are looking for suggestions, please let me know.
Me and my family moved in 6 months ago and we love it here. I am a single mom with two teenage daughters and I feel very safe here. As far as parking, well Ive never had trouble finding a spot, We might have to walk a short distance but its worth it. I plan on renewing my lease at the end of the year. =)
I don’t even understand how this place is rated 3 stars. Roaches are EVERYWHERE. I definitely DO NOT recommend living here.
I have lived here for 6months and have had my girlfriends car and my truck broken in to first they stoled some cookies from my girlfriends car this time they stoled a Fosil watch from my truck. They need scecuraty at this complex all the time.
My family and I have stayed here for the past year and my experience wasn’t that great. I enjoyed the space in our apartment but I wouldn’t describe the apartments as “Luxury.” It’s a nice and quiet community. Those are the couple of things I have enjoyed about our stay. But.... The parking situation is horrible there is not enough room for parking you literally have to go home right away to get a spot. There is a few times we’d have to park in the desert which is on the opposite side of where we live and walking home with a newborn wasn’t pleasant. There was also an incident at one time which cars have been broken into. As for the lady in the office Bella has been rude to us a couple of times. Id suggest to go to Angie if you need anything.
The staff is friendly and very helpful. The young man that does maintenance is professional and nice. Great place to live.
Provided info direct as Your email address isnt working but dont wish this public. I do not want emails from strangers. Cheers But sent over my feedback. But it is almost perfect
I just moved into this complex and so upset I didn’t read reviews on here before moving. There is a serious issue with cars being vandalized in the parking lot and they won’t do a thing about it. This happened to my friends car Saturday night February 1st the windshield was bashed open, the office staff basically told her there’s nothing they can do. With this many occurances you’d think they would start taking action, but no. More lighting, security camera, security guard are a number of things that can be done, but they do NOTHING.
Tried getting an apartment, property looked great. But after really getting into the fine details it was alot more then advertised. Lots of hidden fees and non refundable payments, I cant believe how bad of an experience Ive had, I highly do not recommend this establishment .
I just moved into these apartments. The staff has been so good to me. Every thing that needed repaired has been done very quickly. Thank you guys.
This complex has always worked with me if needed and have listened to any concerns that I have expressed.. The sink faucet was having issues when I first moved in and it turned out to be something simple. They fixed it for me immediately. Clean/modern/contemporary apartments, great floorplans, located in a safe area for your family near amenities and schools. Its a gated community and has a very secure package pickup system located outside of the office, which is available 24 hours. Just enter your own passcode to pick up your package. Very clean and I would gladly recommended this place. Angie and Theresa are amazing, the entire staff here is. Just make sure to communicate if you ever need anything 💯
Lived in their 2 bedroom at first. Dog feces was everywhere all the time. Had our car rifled through and chained up bike stolen. Was going to move up to their 3 bedroom apt but it turned out to be too small. We let the office know ow we wanted to stay in our 2 bedroom but theyve already rented it out so now we are being forced to break lease or move into an apartment that is bigger but setup poorly so our furniture wont fit. Their new management really blows so far...
So far everything has gone smoothly! Angie and bella are super nice and wonderful to work with! The apartment looks great given that it has been lived in before. The only thing that could be better is parking, it is a very small lot and the wash running through the complex makes parking a little awkward. Our reserved parking spot is on the opposite end of the complex but its a lovely walk. Everything is working great and in pretty fair condition. The 48 hour move in inspection sheet they give doesnt offer a lot of room for writing any issues or problems with the apartment but just write on the back and it will work. Otherwise mine and my boyfriends first move in experience has been good!
We have officially lived here for a month, and although our initial move in was a little rocky with an infestation in our apartment that was not our fault (which management took 48hrs to get someone out there) The apartment was squeaky clean when we first arrived so I was shocked when the bugs were not gnats and something else and werent going away. We lived in that apartment for a week out of boxes and plastic bins, it was completely stressful. We went all the way up to the supervisor of the entire complex and got everything squared away, and she explained that the bugs could be coming from a neighbor which they cant control and unfortunately cannot advice the tenants how to maintain a clean apartment (as much as they would love to, in order to avoid these issues) they told me they would let the surrounding tenants know about the bug issue and make sure to get it sprayed. The entire staff was very nice to my husband and myself throughout this experience and even tending to us after the office had already closed to show us another apartment and make the move completely stress free and smooth. I am absolutely happy where we are now and impressed with the great service, I cannot imagine managing such a huge complex! So major props to all of them!Unfortunately the parking is not favorable and having company over is extremely difficult because of that. The sign says Luxury Apartments, although a good friend of mine who lived in a nearby subdivision when they were built, said they were in fact built to be luxury, however now they are not so much but I will say after looking at the other apartments around the area before choosing this complex, the kitchen and bathroom and bedrooms are great sizes! Nice cabinets and granite counters tops, with baseboards and nice big doors. So, they are maybe one step down from being completely luxury. The gate has never been closed since we have lived here...like never. I have not asked about it either though.Neighbors are nice and quiet. The pool is always empty whenever I drive by it, and my son and husband have been in there a couple times and had it all to themselves. I am always seeing the cleaning lady and carpet vans and the groundskeeper every morning when I leave work and when I arrive so they are all keeping busy and maintaining the grounds beautiful which makes me feel great about this place as a whole. So all in all, I am satisfied and look forward to the rest of the months living here.
I know a few people who live here and visiting is always a hassle. There is little to no available parking except for in the dirt lot. Considering the no parking sign Ive seen there, Im pretty sure its not even allowed. Cars have been broken into in the dirt lot too.The apartment itself is okay. Decent space and layout, but I feel like its a little overpriced.
I was not happy with my overall experience living at Summit Vista. I was a temporary home for my family while we were in between homes therefor we were only there for six months(thank goodness). I had several problems with the community while we were there, the parking as others have said was one. We did get one covered space which someone else always seemed to be parked in. Very frustrating when you come home from a long day with a little one. The gate situation was also very frustrating. They seemed to close them whenever they felt like it. There was never any consistency to when the gates were closed vs. when they were open and in the six months that we lived there the code we were assigned never worked, only the generic 1234(which was posted on the keypad). Not very secure in my opinion. The exit gate on the other hand was terrible. It has horrible visibility to see out for traffic and the sensor does not work. My dads brand new truck was badly dented one evening after visiting and do you think they offered to do anything? The manager in my opinion is very fake and unhelpful. She does not seem to listen to you when you call, just repeats herself and does nothing to help. Very frustrating. To make matters worse when we moved out, we were charged. I am a very clean person and take pride in my home temporary or not. I have NEVER been charged when leaving any place I have rented in the past. I cleaned the apartment very well before I turned in the keys, the last thing I did before I walked out the door...I vacuumed the whole place, closets and everything. Guess what one of the things I got charged for was? Vacuuming, they said it needed vacuumed! That was the last straw! The apartments themselves are very nice, new and spacious but I would really think twice about living in this community. I certainly will not recommend any one I know to live here in the future.
Lack of communication between the office staff. There’s not enough parking & poor lighting at night between buildings in the back near wash.
Management responded to my review. Told me to contact them. I did and received no response. Surprise!! They respond on here to make potential residences think they care. smh
I have been there for almost a year and just recently renewed my lease. I am really starting to regret my decision. The new management is horrible. They are very rude and have attitudes, especially the manager. When I first signed my lease at the apartment complex the management was amazing, they were so considerate and understanding and very helpful. They always returned my phone calls and when something needed to be fixed they were on top of it. With the new management my phone calls have NEVER been returned. I have referred friends and family to sign a lease because the apartments are beautiful and I never had problems until just recently. Someone I referred had a load of problems with them, they never cleaned her carpet and they tried making her pay for something that they couldnt even explain.
First off, I lived here for a year and everything was ok. Things started to go downhill as a few appliances in the apartment started to break off (which is was just faulty.) The parking situation was beyond terrible. The dirt lot was convenient until they blocked it off - which made no sense because there was never any parking at the actual complex. The hidden fees that they have are ridiculous. And I mean it when I say hidden. The old managers would work with you or at least try and the new managers will not.Lastly, multiple complaints were made to the office in regards to upstairs neighbors..nothing was done, what we were told was a call would be made. Also - they do not allow pitbulls and have breed restrictions. The old management which was probably just a few months before they did not have any. But since they are under new management, they are strict with animals.I do not recommend living here. You are better off buying house with their outrageous rental fees.
I chose this place because they have private garages available, are dog friendly, and feel like youre living on the edge of civilization without actually being isolated.Ive been here a few months and the staff has been wonderful. It appears remodeling has started on some of the buildings and they didnt let them get too bad before they did it. So thats good.My only complaints are little things like having a street cleaner go through the parking lot once in a while would be great. Since the storms started there has been sand and gravel everywhere and Im on two wheels so its a bit sketchy. But, maybe thats only a seasonal problem.Other than that I like it so far.
Maintenance came within the hour to fix the washing machine. Excellent service!
The only reason Im giving this place 1 star is because you have to...Im going on year number 3. When I first moved in I loved it. Each year there seems to be new management and each year it seems to get worse. I will say Doug in the office is great. This is my first review Ive ever written and Im sad to say this place has turned into a total dump! Currently, the pool is closed and bright green, The table and chairs near the BBQ have been broken for two years (how hard is it to replace?), the grill is absolutely disgusting, cigarette butts and weeds everywhere, theyve let the grass die and I can no longer let my son outside to play and trust that he is safe. Theres a group of teenage kids that play loud music everywhere they go, cussing and Ive even seen one of the boys giving another girl hickys all over (all near the office) Oh and they raised my rent.. Its a shame. I really used to love living here. It WAS a great place for a single mom. Not anymore.
Worst experience ever. This was our first time ever in an apartment and couldnt have been any worse. Maintenance sucks, theres cockroaches everywhere, the people that used to live there before us didnt even clean the apartment there was pencil and crayon scribbles on some of the walls and doors from a child probably. The neighbors were always loud. The hot water lasts for 15 minutes and there is no in between with hot or cold your either freezing or melting. Theres mold in the shower. This could be a really nice complex maybe needs new management... would not recommend to anyone, very over priced for what we experienced.
Described as luxury apartments and a gated community. Summit Vista needs to stop this false advertising. The parking is awful, there are nights when I have to do 4 laps (not exaggerating) around the entire complex to try and find a spot. Swing by sometime after 6pm and try to find a spot. Its like playing musical chairs every time. The buildings are aging and its become apparent when viewed in detail. The pool and jacuzzi are out of order half of the time. The overabundance of seeping cigarette and pot smoke from the neighbors is anything but luxury. The gate is always open despite claiming to be gated. Im emphasizing this as its a huge flaw.Do they have nice countertops? Yes. Are the optional garages worth it? Sure. Does the bad outweigh the good? Absolutely. My best advice for you is to do your research before committing to this complex. Its all show and no go. Best of luck 🙏🏼
Not enough parking whatsoever, i came here at 9pm and ALL parking spots were taken so i had to park in the dirt lot where they say you cant park, saw at least 20+ other cars in there. Absolutely rediculous
Lets see where to start. First off the staff is extremely unorganized and while attempting to get an apartment there, over 3 different people helped me and my boyfriend. There was a huge run around in the application process, staff didnt seem knowledgeable. Paper work was mishandled, they gave me multiple reason of why the application didnt go through. I had to send multiple emails with the same information. I dont think you should waste your time or money getting into an apartment here or into a lease for that matter. Back in end of May I went through the application process, the office aid Doug told me I had to put $120 dollars down to make the monthly cheaper and to cover an application fee. What they dont tell you is that $100 is for holding a room. Well we didnt end up getting an apartment there and I didnt hold a room, but guess what? Marisol their so called assistant manager refused to get me in contact with her boss Stephanie I believe to refund our money. So essentially they ending up taking my $120 dollars which only $20 of it is for an application fee. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CRIMINALS. If you know whats best for you, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.
It is a beautiful place to live dont get me wrong but there is a few things that could be better, but have enjoyed our stay so far
If I could give negative stars, I would. I was just hung up on by Doug - a very rude individual working the front office today. I was inquiring about a lease break fee for my daughter who was just left holding a 6 month lease by someone who promised to help pay. Anyway - Doug came back with some ridiculous figure and after further questioning we realized that their system got the end date of her lease wrong. When I asked him to re-figure the lease break fee - suddenly he had to go because people walked in. I told him my daughter was a resident and had a valid issue that needed to be addressed since my call came in prior to people walking in the door. He spent another 5 minutes arguing with me - time that could have been spent getting the information I needed. Then - he actually hung up on me. Seriously?? Ive managed multi-family properties before. This is NOT how its done. You handle every call and every resident with respect. As SOON as we are able we WILL be moving our daughter from this place. The unprofessionalism of this staff - Doug in particular - is simply not acceptable. On top of that - I was told that the actual Manager - Julie - wont be available until Tuesday after 2pm. Julie WILL be getting a call from me. You can count on that!!
Keep all your paperwork. This office is terrible at keeping paperwork. I had a final walk through on June 18th and here almost a month later they cant find it my notice to vacate and want to charge me 2 months rent. Seems a lot of people were moving out. I complained about the safety hazards of the trash and the the walkways. Nothing done. The trash doors stay open and when cars are driving around you may get hit. Part of that is on the driver. NO lights in the walk ways going to a friends apartment you need a flashlight. With snake season and the proximity to the desert, kids, pets, and adults could get bitten. It is a clean apartment but the office staff has a lot to be desired. Doug was great, if you rent, talmost to him, he was new, but seems to have common sense.
Stole money from me!! Bella did not know the policies and told me something. When she later found out the information she gave me was incorrect, she told me it was my fault for not reading the fine print. Im a customer that asked specific information!! Sorry I didnt go back and read the fine print to make sure Bella knew her policies. Im sure the manager was in on it as I asked to speak with management and have not heard back. I will be speaking with MEB.
Unless someone came to my apartment in the 35 minutes I was gone, no one has come. I have been struggling with an Adrenal Crisis every day, which has left me on my couch by the door. No one has knocked but perhaps the window was addressed externally. Todd Wray (FYI I received Traé Akai as a nickname in Rouen, France about 15 years ago.
Love This place!!!! the new management is amazing! Overall an awesome place to live at.
***After Months of broken Promises***It frustrates me to know that after months of me calling, posting, writing letters, having an attorney write a letter that nothing gets done.Your error in record keeping coming up almost two years later has left the only negative mark on my credit and after this long no one at this complex or the agency they hire to collect has the decency to handle it, take ownership of the mistake or even keep their promises to respond. I even have left messages with the front desk of an apartment complex I have not lived at for almost two years all to be ignored. This is the kind of complex you are dealing with, months of promises and no follow through for anything. They do not care nor do they even have the professionalism to respond. I have waited long enough I am going to post on every social media, review page and public resource about this.Avoid them, if they cant handle something like this how can they handle anything else with professionalism, integrity or even common decency.**Still nothing, you can see their replies on the Facebook Page***Our time spent here was nice, we were only here for 4 months while we waited for our house to be finished. However in that time it was a very nice place....Then we moved out...We gave notice, we paid as required and then after a year and half we suddenly got a notice from a collection agency that we had an outstanding balance. We called the agency and disputed it however they choose in the mean time to report it to our credit bureau. We were sent what was supposed to be verification of this supposed debt but it was just our old lease agreement and notice to vacate. There was no explanation of these extra 375.00 that we supposedly owed. The Agency claimed it was cleaning costs and a prorate of rent. I disagreed as we did a walk through with an employee before giving back our keys to ensure there were no issues. We were never notified in all this time there was supposedly an issue and they are required to do so in writing breaking down all charges.Even though they agreed to dispute it and that it was not present they refuse to remove it from our credit report. We have had to contact legal counsel and since they refuse to remove it we will most likely have to retain them just to get it removed. All after a year and a half from moving out, it just makes no sense.I have to say at this point I could not recommend anyone rent here because there is obviously something quite shady going on and while in the end we will most likely get it removed it never should have happened in the first place.
Requests not done.
I have to start out by saying that the NEW MANAGEMENT COMPANY MEB are the best so far. I moved into our apartment 1 1/2 yrs ago. They day we were moving in the carpets just got cleaned (carpet was still soaking wet). They didnt have the place ready to move in. The floors in my kitchen and bathroom had writing coming thru the bottom of them so you can see them on the floor. Cant be removed. They old management company didnt care that I wasnt happy about my place. (Just moved from out of town) and it was all paid for and was suppose to be ready for my move in date. So, we went ahead and signed our year lease. Sometimes the work orders would get completed but other times it would take 2-3 weeks to get an a.c. filter changed. The grounds where bad as they didnt have anyone here to take care of the weeds, grass and bushes /trees. So right before my year lease was up we found out that the apartments were getting new management company, and new staff. So, my husband and I decided to stay for another 6 months and see if anything get better. Right away they had the grounds being worked on. And are being taken care of weekly. They have made the all the change easy for all the residents. They had my carpets and both kitchen and bathroom floors redone as they wanted us to be happy with are home. Make my home look so much better and love coming home everyday and walking in to my place and feel at home. They make sure the work orders get completed in a timely matter. The staff are super nice and listen to all your concerns! Our lease is up next month and we have decided to resign our lease for another 8 months, as the new staff and company has made living here much better and a piece of mind. Julia (manager) and Angelica (assistant manager). Have been great about everything and what needs to be taken care of! I know there is a lot of stuff to still be done on the property, but they are getting it done as fast and nice as possible. With being in this type of business it is hard to take over a property and clean the mess up after the old company just let it go bc they just didnt care what was being done. So, MEB and Summit Vista staff THANK YOU, for all the hard work and making it better place to call HOME !!! 😎
They always get done what you asked in a timely fashion
Nice Apartment, Nice Management, Nice environment. Everything is the best!
This place is horrible. Luxury my a$$. The office staff do not deal with issues appropriately and make it seem as you are a problem because you raise a complaint. Its so dark in between building which makes it extremely unsafe and dangerous with snakes during the summer. Do not be fooled, this place is not what it seems and I am counting down the months until I can move far away from here. They do not even deserve one star as far as Im concerned. If you move here you are sure to have renters remorse.
Horrible. I would not recommend this place. Office staff is very rude and unhelpful. When we moved in the carpet was dirty and needed to be replaced and they did nothing about it. When needed to break our lease the office staff was rude and not helpful. Was told we had 5 months to pay off lease breaking payment then was told 3 at the last moment. Office staff changed every 6 months or so. When you have a problem they either dont fix it, tell you nothing is wrong with it or take forever to fix it and only do a half ass job.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! MY FRIENDS LIVE HERE AND THEY ARE GOING THRU A LOT WITH THE APARTMENT AND MANAGEMENT! THEIR APARTMENT GOT FLOODED AND THE WALLS/ROOF CAVED IN. MY FRIEND AND HER 7 YR SON WAS HOME WHEN THIS HAPPENED TOO! THEY COULD HAVE GOT BADLY HURT OR DIED!! MANAGEMENT STILL CANT TELL THEM WHAT REALLY CAUSED IT AND THEY WONT EVEN LET THEM BREAK THE LEASE THEY HAVE! THEY TOLD MY FRIEND IT WOULD BE 4,000 TO BREAK LEASE AND IT WOULD BE BAD ON THEIR CREDIT! THAT IS SOME BS! THEY GAVE MY FRIEND A NEW APARTMENT TO LIVE IN BUT THE RENT WENT UP BECAUSE IT WAS BIGGER THEN THE ONE THEY HAD AND EVERYTHING IN THERE IS NEW.. THEY ALSO ARE BEING ACCUSED OF BEING LATE WITH THEIR ELECTRIC BILL BECAUSE OF THIS SITUATION! MANAGEMENT WOULDNT EVEN GIVE MY FRIEND A MONTH OR 2 OF FREE RENT BECAUSE OF THIS! THEN THE OTHER MORNING THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO THE APARTMENT RIGHT ACROSS OF THEIR NEW APARTMENT! THANK GOD NO ONE WAS HOME IN THAT APARTMENT AT THE TIME BUT WHEN THEY DID COME HOME, THEY WERE PISSED BECAUSE THEY WERE JUST MOVING IN TO THE APARTMENT!! MANAGEMENT IS RUDE AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AT ALL! SO PLEASE PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PLACE! GO SOME WHERE ELSE!
My issue is the dog crap. I am not exaggerating. One cannot walk the grounds 40 feet with out very large plods of dog crap, and in between little pebbles of dog crap from smaller dogs...I am not joking...you can actually walk to the office front door and there are giant clods of dog crap. to get the mail, there is also large amounts of dog crap. this should not the responsibility of any maintenance crew to pick up behind the horrible mindless teens and millennials that are walking their dogs with disregard. Not a bag in their hand. If I were management, if I saw someone with a dog and no bag? youre getting fined, 50 bucks. How can you welcome people to your place if you are so hands off once tenants move in, that youre allowing them to let their mutts poop right in front of your front door? they need to just stop allowing dogs, and double the fee on those that do have them, then rent to non dog people.Besides that? the place is actually really good... I am not hard to please regarding the guys fixing things. I feel its not my place, so I should try not to break things. The place is quiet, with the exception of about 5 little kids yelling, playing tag and riding bikes but thats kids. But theres no way those kids are not stepping in dog crap on a daily basis. As they sprint across the dirt or grass a lot. This is not a maintenance issue ...its management not absolutely hurling bricks at people that dont pick up behind their own dogs...flyers are not the answer. those signs about threatening you to pick yo behind your dog needs to be placed right at the OFFICE DOOR, in BOLD writing. With the fees. then they need to actually pull the trigger and do it to a few people...
My girlfriend and I attempted to get an apartment here, but the office staff are a joke. Very unprofessional, and unorganized. I dont recommend this place to anyone, unless you want to waste your time and money.
Ive been living here for 4 months and i have to say its been the worst experience ever! my neighbors are loud im always fighting for my assigned parking spot No to mention there isnt much uncovered parking as is! The complex is suppose to be a gated complex however in the 4 months that Ive lived here Ive never seen the gates closed. the staff is not friendly whatsoever just a bad over all experience. I definitely REGRET moving into this pos!!
DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME ...WORST PLACE...REVOLVING DOOR STAFF...OFFICE STAFF IS OUT OF OFFICE MANY HOURS. MICKEY MOUSE REPAIRS...STAY AWAY...
HORRIBLE...LIVED THERE SINCE THEY BUILT THEM WAS AMAZING WHEN HILDA MANAGED...NOW THERE IS A REVOLVING DOOR OF STAFF...NO RETURNED PHONE CALLS...WATER LEAK WAS NOT TENDED TO...STAY AWAY..............BOUGHT OUT MY LEFT AND EXCAPED...
Very polite and knowledgeable.
Fitness center is extremely small n u get 1 parking spot, very limited visitor parking, company never has a spot to park, apartments are very nice !!! Lived here for 4 months in april ;)
