Management is rude and unprofessional I’m glad I’m moving out. They where going to charge me full amount of rent instead of partial rent.
I’ve been here for few months now. I love how they maintain the apartment complex. I would see the guys cleaning the parking lot everyday.I enjoyed their hot tub especially with the cold weather right now. I only had one maintenance request for the past months and when I put my request online they fixed it less than 24hours. Office is always open but they don’t let people come in which is totally understandable with this covid situation. I lost my keycard once and the manager Helped me out to get new sets of keys. I love how they have gated community. Just renewed my lease for another 7 months 😀 i was going to move to a 1 bed instead of studio but I love my parking spot 😉The only thing that I would want to suggest with them is maybe a new laundry room. Maybe bigger and can use an app instead of swiping your card all the time. All in all it’s one of the best apartment complex i’ve been with.
Best apartments in Tucson, Arizona area!!!The price is great the area is awesome!
Worst place I have ever lived. The office is NEVER open and the staff NEVER answers the phone or returns your calls!! They dont care about you....and its unsafe. Extremely rude office staff!!! As far as the apartments there cheap but everything is broken...my stove is from the 70s and the burners are off balance so I have to hold them in place...I cant tell you how many times I was almost burned from a pot w/ boiling hot water sliding off the stove.
I have lived here for more then a year. These apartments are truly amazing. Me as a first time renter I received information that was not a lie for example maintenance is always there if there is a problem they will fix it right away. The property itself is quiet and safe. That was the most important detail for me. The staff is friendly and very professional and they just made me feel welcomed as soon as I walked in! If you are looking for a new home and the most important factors for you are safety, quietness, good friendly neighbors and a reliable staff ? This is where you should be! All I have to say the moment you see this property you forget you are in Tucson just for a second ❤️
This is one of the nicest apartment communities Ive lived. I drove from Washington State to Arizona for predominantly health reasons and havent looked back....most of the time. The Staff at The Standard Raintree are three+ of the most professional, pleasant and charming people Ive encountered. Im semi-retired but work part-time for a human service organization and often recommend this apartment community to folks who are looking. Maintenance is competent and professional too. Best wishes to them all. So, if you are looking for cleanliness, professional staff, beautifully kept grounds, more for your dollar, dog friendly, friendly neighbors, on a bus route, etc......try The Standard Raintree.
My fiance and I, plus 2 fur babies, have resided and made our home in these quiet and serene apartments for a little over a year now. We started out in a studio and now are upgrading to a one bedroom. The community and staff are very polite and pet friendly and courteous to your needs. I would definitely recommend these apartments to family, friends, and anyone looking for a quiet, pet friendly environment. - Jennifer Webster- Cline
I initially gave a one star rating on the complex due to some past issues I was having, but my views have changed since Chamberlain has been able to properly settle in at Raintree. I have lived in this complex for a few years now and I have stayed because the complex is beautiful, conveniently located for me, and they let my husband have his service dog whom is typically a restricted breed, and that means a lot to us. The ladies at the front office are attentive and courteous. I recently had to deal with an unpleasant situation with another tenant and they listened to my complaints and laid out all my options. I left the front office feeling better as I had considered breaking my lease before I contacted them. There are some small things that I still struggle with, like neighbors leaving dog poop and cigarette butts near my apartment, but if thats the worst I have to deal with Ill take it in exchange for a piece of mind.
The Manager and Staff are professional, friendly and well informed on all details of the apartment complex and surroundings areas. My experience has been 100% of the time, when I have called for a repair, the repair has been repaired on the same day. Usually, it is within an hour to two hours from the time of call. The Manager celebrates all important holidays; and also distributes and excellent newsletter. From the time, I moved, approximately two and one half (2 1/2 ) years ago, the Manager, Assistant Manager, and Leasing Agent have extended to perfect courtesies and considerations at all times. Haidee Joy, Apt. 1009
I lived here for 10 months and enjoyed my time here. The grounds were well maintained, and maintenance requests were resolved quickly (I only needed to submit one request while I was there). Office staff is very nice and helpful when it comes to any questions or concerns. Only complaint would be the parking inside the gate (closest to Jack in the Box). I would have to park very far away from my apartment because all the spots were taken, so more parking would have been a plus. Other than that, it was a nice place to live.
My finance and I have lived here for the past three years. We have since had our son and our main reason for moving away now is because we need more space. I enjoyed our time here, the grounds are always kept nice, clean pool areas. Cant say much for some of the most recent tenants that live here now, but you cant blame a business for a neighbors bad behavior. We have always had positive experiences with the office team and the maintenance crew. Us moving has nothing to do with anything bad with this apartment complex. I have often recommended this place to people I know.
Grounds: 8pool: 9apartment: 7availability and responsiveness of office staff: 2 (staff started outwonderfully, unfortunately it is now nearly impossible to contactthem for anything other than maintenance requests)maintenance: 7safety: 6 (lock your car every night or something WILL be stolen, alsobikes locked up are not safe. The security screen on door is a nicefeature though)
This place is a little paradise in the middle of the desert with plenty of grassy areas and tall trees. It is now under new management and they are much friendlier than other places here in town. Their on site maintenance techs are super fast and complete their work efficiently. Very quiet and relaxing overall and gated, which is a plus. Thanks Raintree crew!
I have been living here for four months and I love it. The grounds are beautiful, and the staff is wonderful. I have never lived in an apartment complex with so much social activities for the residents. The movie night in the park is my girlfriend favorite. It is more than worth the money. I cannot say enough about this place.
Ive lived here for almost 5 years, and up until the last year or so its been great. Unfortunately, they allowed a guy who had roaches to move in, and when they evicted him, they didnt require that everyone get treated. Ive been dealing with roaches for months, and the staff doesnt seem too interested in actually solving the problem. Should also be wary of this place if you have a dog, there are a lot of people who think that the leash law is a colorful suggestion here and will get angry if you mention it to them. My dog got attacked last year by another dog that someone had brought into the complex. No one picks up the poop. There are residents who allow trash to accumulate out in front of their apartments. If you can avoid this place, I would say go somewhere else.
Standard Raintree Apartments is a wonderful place to live in Tucson. The beautiful courtyard area includes a heated pool and jacuzzi plus a spacious pavilion. An owl family resides within the courtyard and is enjoyed by many residents. I and my lovely kitty, Elsa love our apartment. My kitty says, My meow mom and I meow love this meow place...it is meow home!
This apartment complex provides one of the worst living experiences you will ever receive from any apartment in tucson. Yes there prices are cheap, but this complex sets you up for failure from the start. Here is my storyAt First glanceMe and my girlfriend were so eager to get a place of our own. We stopped my this complex to get a tour. On the tour we were told that by the time we moved in that it would have been renovated with new appliances. We needed to be out of our other apartment by March 27th and the manager glady worked with that, she told us the wouldn’t normally have a move in until April 1st, but we could bring our stuff by and move in, so we signed the papers and got approved.Move in dayMove in day comes around (March 27th) and we get to the standard raintree Eager to move in only to be told that they had no appointment for us and were not ready. My and my girlfriend were devastated. I spend about an hour there explaining what there manager told us and after much convincing they called the manager. The manager said she didn’t remember what happened when we agreed on a move in date, but took the blame and said she had probably forgotten. They finally allowed us to move our stuff in about 30 min after that. They worked around us to clean the apartment, but it did not have new appliances, they were clearly old 70s appliances, nothing that was said during the tour was true.Living thereThe day to day was pretty bad. Couldn’t use the stove or oven without setting off the fire alarm and on top of that there was always a very strong chemical smell whenever we used the oven. These were reported to them with no use, They did nothing about it. The air conditioning units didn’t work at all, and whoever put the carpets in left the pin up, so every other step we took we would get stabbed in the foot. After move in day we would only really go to the office for packages and the occasional maintenance request and oddly enough the ladies were still very rude us.The move outThe move out was probably the best part about living here, finally getting to leave after a draining one year lease agreement. We moved all our items from the apartment and cleaned so hard. We thought it was over and the nightmare had ended... Then I received a letter in the mail about our security deposit, according to them nothing was clean and they took all of the security deposit except for 3 dollars. Apparently the sinks were dirty and so was the fridge as well as the oven, and carpets. I understand the carpets because we weren’t able to find a cleaning person so me and my girlfriend agreed to bite the bullet on that one, but everything else was spotless. I contacted them on the phone and they did there best to make me sound stupid. They ended the phone call with “we have the pictures to prove it” and I cannot help regretting not taking any pictures.I can only advise that whoever reads this pays close attention on the tour and chooses not to pick this place to live in.
Danielle Doctor is the most OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE at Raintree Apartments. Danielle Doctor has impeccable customer service skills. She will always go beyond the call of duty for the residence. She is very knowledgeable of her job. She make your move in so very simple. We need more people in the world like her. She is very KIND. Living here is like living in a resort. Thank you Danielle Doctor.
Ive been here for 4 years now, I would think of moving anywhere else, I love the complex it is relaxing i enjoy every part of it. All the residents are amazing and friendly. Staff is very nice and they organize grate activities every month. Its a very safe and quiet community..
Maintenance is always completed on the same day of request. Apartments are well kept. Gated community with security patrol at night. I feel very safe and secure with the outside wrought iron doors. Tour it, I promise you will like it!
Nice apts, great scenery and nice staff
I miss the old staff. I have never had a problem with parking until the new staff took over and now only certain things are allowed outside your porch. They send a notice that gives you a little bit of time to clear out everything. My wife did not have a friendly experience either on the phone. I would stay away until the new staff loosens up and starts being customer friendly again.
Reason for my 4 star well let me tell you, the management in the office is amazing! The people that work there are super understanding and just overall great! The turnaround for the staff it happens a lot but hey they are super friendly regardless. Maintenance is super awesome and friendly as heck!! Always in time and come within a good timeframe. Now main reason it didn’t get a 5 star is because the people that live there are the worst and super ghetto, when I first moved in there was some crack heads that lived next to me always body shaming each other around the apartment (domestic violence but that’s from what I’ve heard through the wall and what it sounds like also they were making there own drugs in there tbh my neighbor that was living next to me after them straight up told me and was like yea looks like they made there own drugs in the closet) they get people that are not well off with other people that are nice.. one upside is there are super nice old people that live here the other thing is that people do not pick up there dog poop as well as my dog got attack by some random persons dogs that came in the dog was a French bulldog people will bring their dogs in just to laugh when your dog gets attacked without you even knowing because your dog is so claim about ever bring but Overall if you are on your own for the first time this is the place it’s super small (another reason I had to get out with having two dogs and a girlfriend) and very cheap tbh! I recommend it only because of the management and manager also the office staff! There is going to be good and bad things about places YOU DECIDE! Haha (Was living here for about 2 years)
Moved into Raintree Apartments in July and everything that was explained to me happened without any issues. Out of all the places I lived getting processed and approved was so fast and simple and the easiest Ive ever dealt with. I dont plan on moving for a very long time because I am happy with my choice in moving into Raintree.
I am extremely disappointed with my recent move into the complex. First I was given the incorrect apartment number. In turn started to set up utilities and had all utilities set up in the wrong apartment number. I was not notified until 1 day before move in. Shandra said she would call and change it, while TEP does not allow anyone but the actual tenant to change it. When I first walked in and asked for a tour to see actual apartment, Shandra did not even know where the apartment was located (and even had a map). I was informed that I needed to have renters insurance when I first inquired about the apartment, it was not mentioned that it is included in the utilities package until I attempted to give my renters insurance information. While doing lease paper work, one document claimed the apartment was in perfect condition all ready to go. After further inspection there was a huge stain on the carpet, linoleum rolling up on all sides in bathroom, and other imperfections The floor also dips down in various places throughout the apartment. If you are allowing someone to move in the apartment should be ready to go. Maintenance has informed me I have to move all furniture in order for them to get to the spots. If I had known about the quality of service and structure I would have picked somewhere else to live. Overall I am very disappointed and I have only been here 1 week.
I lived there for over a year and have had absolutely no issues. The price was affordable, the staff was always nice and professional. Maintenance was always on it when something needed to be fixed and the neighbors were so friendly.
A nightmare tenant moved in above me months ago who floods my apartment every day. Water flows like a river out of my ceiling fan in the bathroom and from the smoke detector in front of the pantry. I am a 6 year resident, senior citizen, just home from the hospital with Pulmonary embolisms, on Coumadin, a blood-thinner and oxygen, wading through inches of water accumulated on the bathroom floor and going to the bathroom with black moldy water dripping on me from above every time I go in there. Its slippery, and I have already fallen because of it. Management wont move the nightmare tenant because his mother says, give him a chance, plus, I was told, he doesnt have the money for the transfer fee. When a senior citizen, a long term tenants safety and overall well being is compromised because a transfer fee is more important than safety, its time for a change in management. Im told, were doing everything we can. No, they arent. They can waive the fee, tell the mother, times up, he cant comply, and get rid of him before my family files a wrongful-death lawsuit after I fall in the bathroom, hit my head, bleed out internally, and die. Obviously, this is a case of where money and stats are more important than overall resident safety. There is no peaceful living or safe living in my home. Raintree used to be a wonderful place to live. Not anymore. The bad is pushing out the good. I realize management doesnt care and only gives lip service saying what ever they think will work, but its not okay. I value my life and my safety. The tenant also drops and crashes very heavy things on to the floor beginning about midnight each night, and the crashes continue until sometimes 4:00 AM. I get no sleep for recovery from my hospitalization, the bathroom ceiling will never dry to be repaired because the tenant cant comply and live within a normal framework of acceptable apartment living, the flooding is every day, the apartment smells like standing water and mold, but oh well, he doesnt have the transfer fee and his mothers wishes are more important than my physical safety and well being. I am under so much accumulated stress from this month after month nightmare, at this point I will seek relief in any way possible.Would I recommend Raintree Apartments? Answer that yourself. Do you want to be me? Lets move the nightmare tenant above the manager, and see how long she tolerates his behavior. Bet you the transfer fee would suddenly pale in comparison to her peaceful living and safety.
We have an awesome apartment. But, the parking situation up front is rediculous. We are expected to park in the back. When I live right above the office. Most of the parking spots in the back are taken that are closer. Its frustrating. They need to seriously consider putting parking spaces in the front that are s designated for that apartment. I dont pay 800 dollars a month to park in the back. Just saying.
Raintree is a really cool place to live ! The staff and management are extremely professional. Always fun stuff going on. And the pool and hot tub areas are always clean.
Well i have been at Rain Tree for about 3 yrs and i have enjoyed every year. The staff is amazing always can bring a smile to your day if your down and maintenance is on point.
I just want to say out the three years I have stayed here i have enjoyed them. Staying anywhere your going to have your ups and your down but i have to say well done Rain Tree. From the office help to the maintenance crew of the hook again i say well done.
More Than Just A Home!Standard Raintree Apartments is the place I live I could end the sentence right there and it would be complete but, it would not even begin to tell you why I chose to live here. It is so much more than just an apartment complex (hence the name) we are a community made of many different types of people but everyone is very friendly and helpful. We have get-togethers at least once a month thanks to the leasing staff with free refreshments and drinks. I especially want to thank Alycia our amazing office manager. I am 60 years old and not phone savvy at all. I locked myself out of my new iPhone and I had to reset it up with a computer. She came to my rescue and talked to the apple rep. Signed on to the computer wrote down my security number, and security questions and answers (its amazing what you forget) We started this around 5:10pm and she stayed until after 7:00pm! The office closed at 6:00 so she stayed for me well after closing time. I ask you how many if any complexes out there would do that I bet you would be hard pressed to find even one!!! This is why I love where I live. It is so much more than an apartment complex it is home and then some!!!!
My wife lived in these apartments while I lived on the east coast during this time. She has been blamed for disturbing the peace. The neighbors complain all the the time about using the stairs to much. She lived upstairs. Whenever she finally said something about all of the harassment the management told her to do things such as use the stairs only when everyone is gone to work. Most of them did not work. Dont let your children play outside because they make noise. Maybe they should get a job. Dont let them write on the sidewalk. Its outdoor chalk that comes up, nothing permanent. Management has failed to take responsibility far to many times so that they will not be victimized. What about the victims.
Great, small apartments on the east side of Tucson and it is conveniently located by Safeway, Frys, and a Walmart Neighborhood Market. Couldnt ask for a better location but this is the only apartment Ive lived in since I moved to Tucson in 2013. Cheaper then most places, as the square footage is smaller than most, but it is my home for now and I like it. The only complaint I have isnt with the apartment itself but with the people who love to rev their vehicles and motorcycles as they drive past. It is obnoxiously loud and annoying when they drive by at night! The complex is well taken care of and it is nice to look at and walk around when the weather is nice. Will be here for a while yet until I can move into a bigger, one story complex. Great apartments and always friendly staff. Havent had one issue in almost 3 years including almost no bugs whatsoever. Just be prepared to turn down the volume at night because the walls are everything but soundproof!
Very pleased with how well its managed. The staff is very friendly too.
Raintree is a great community. The grounds are kept very clean. The maintenance team is very fast and courteous when u have a problem. And the ladies in the office are very friendly and always willing to help you out.
Seems like a very nice facility quiet conveniently located on the east side of town close to the air base close to bus lines shopping, whenever Ive been there to visit my grandson yet always is very clean exterior relatively quiet for an apartment complex, never heard anything that was out of place TimeWise, people barbecuing Saturday afternoon Sunday have quiet music on and thats fine its the facility but Ive never heard anything out of respect for their other neighbors
The company is shady. I wouldnt even put the one star. They convinced me to put 99.00 down for the application fee and if I was denied the apartment then the remainder of the processing fee would be reimbursed. I have found a cheaper and closer apartment to my work. They will not reimburse the remainder amount saying i forfeit the remaining balance. Which I was not informed when I was there in person. WOULD NOT RENT EVER!!!!
I inquired electronically about renting an apartment to Raintree Apartments, and I stated that I needed an apartment within two weeks.I was sent an e-mail by one on the managements team, that stated if I wanted to see an apartment at a specific time in the afternoon, or on the next day then contact the office by phone. She also did not state the amount of the application fee, and if they would rent within two weeks through their e-mail.I contacted the 1-800 number listed on the website first, and there was no response. When a woman answered the phone, after I called the number from the e-mail, and on my second call, she said that there are no apartments available for rent until February 10th. I stated that I needed an apartment within the two weeks, and wrote this previously with my electronic inquiry. With this and the rest of the conversation, I knew that it was an attempt to defraud me etc. This maybe additional evidence of a plot to possibly defraud others of their application fees.Note: She also mentioned she had 15 other applicants.
WARNING ⚠️ Rain Tree apartment complex is just HORRIBLE and a living NIGHTMARE with the Staff. I singed a contract for 9 months and I REGRET it to this day! I’m very much looking forward to moving out of this complex when my lease is up. I HIGHLY recommend you find some where else to live because the STAFF has NO since in common COURTESY. Even with the so called “new Management”. This complex is not for you please trust me!
Have been here for almost 4 Years and is a beautiful complex, enjoy the new management how they try and do community events!!
The office employees are very helpful and friendly. Since Ive moved in Ive felt like this place is home. I love it!!
Great place to live. Always well maintained and friendly staff and people
My experience at Raintree Apts. has been very nice. Danielle and Ellie have been very helpful, nice and very professional in making my stay a nice place to live. The place is kept up nicely and clean on the grounds, the laudry room and lounge is very nice.
The girls in the office are nice and helpful. Nice place to live and affordable.
A wonderful place under the sun to call home! Best place in Tucson to live,
Ok
Great place to live and have fun. Group events lots of fun.
Staff does as best as they can but its poorly made so you hear every step upstairs. Light sleepers will have a tough time.
Lived here temporarily for 6 months in an efficiency apt. New managers had taken over the last 3 months I was there. Filthy apts., poor new management as the pool was not kept up, the water was green. They let small children with diapers in the pool. The lawn was yellow; not kept up at all. Since new managers took over, they cut costs so dramatically it was pathetic. These apts. have only 1 window in the studios and in a 1 bedroom there are 2. No airflow at all, poorly constructed but I guess you get what you pay for. I felt like I lived in the ghetto as many of the residents, if not elderly and disabled were low-income white trash. Couldnt wait to get out of there. Even for temporary housing, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Under D.B Chamberlin Ownership the Place has Turned from great to a dump !! Avoid if you can this place would make Slumlords ashamed of it. Left the Place as soon as our lease was up Others also Left as soon as they could.
Nice apts and big pool hot tub. And exercise room
Perfectly acceptable apartments. The owls are awesome!
Raintree has always been good to me. Management has always been courtious, and listens to your complaints. Maintance does an excellent job and goes the extra mile. It is allways clean and I ve never had a problem with bugs. I suppose if I had a complaint it would be having more greenery around my section in the back.
Terrible!!!!!!!I just moved in here for less than a month.i cant sleep at all .The buliding is bad construction. I was staying downstairs I hearing noise every time they walk !!!! Noises and noises all night long. You will hear everything whatever person upstairs do.Think before you sign the lease .i am really disappointed with this apartment.
The apartments are nice, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and the property is to die for.
I am a current resident here at Raintree. I would not recommend this place to a family or friend. I dont have much of anything to complain about in terms of the apartment im living in. There are a few things however that are just unacceptable about this place. This is a gated community and there are 2 ways of getting through these gates. 1) A gate card, and 2) punch in a 3 digit number that calls a phone that you have designated to let you in by pressing a number. Those are your only two ways of getting into the apartments with your vehicle. What are you supposed to do if your card stops working, and lets say the cell phone you designated isnt charged, youve misplaced the phone temporarily or any situation like that? Well Ive had to deal with the gate card not working 4 different times. There were a couple of times where I got stuck at the gate as cars piled up behind me, none offering to help out with their own cards (friendly neighbors) the line of cars started backing up the right lane on golflinks. Another time I went home around 1:00 am to have my card not working and the number that was used as our backup, had been changed without notification. So I had no possible way of getting into my home at 1:00 in the morning in a sketchy area. The 4th time a card was brought into the managers office to be replaced or fixed, I was offered no apology or anything. Just a, oh youve been in here before for this havent you. There is just one other issue that is really bad, and thats the neighbors. These people are constantly hanging out outside, drinking, and having small get togethers on the sidewalks and in the parking lots. Which becomes a problem when its 10, 11 at night and they can be heard right outside your window as youre trying to sleep. If its a Fri or a Sat night I can forget about sleeping, these people will jump in their cars and start bumping rap with their sub woofers on full blast at any odd hours of the night or morning. Ive lived here a total of 2 months and already I have witnessed at least 3 police stings, or chases that ended up in our parking lot. I awoke one night to a bright light shining in my window to look outside and see that it was a police helicopters spotlight shining around the complex while 4+ squad cars and cops on foot patrolled the parking lot, guns drawn. If youre someone who works 40 hours a week and gets up at 4 am every morning, stay away.
Gated apartment community, convenient location.
Nice plsce to live love the staff
I feel safe in this apartment complex
Roaches roaches roachesStaff is uninterested in solving the problem and will often insinuate it is your problem or act as if they dont believe you have an issue
Great place to live.
The floor pans showing on the picture on the website its not the same the bedroom is 10.3 × 10 the living room dining room kitchen are combine so its 10.3 × 14 ....
Horrendous security and they dont care about their residents if you wanna live here itll be cheap but youll pay for it in the long run
Beautiful grounds
Cockroach problem.......
